Name: Sieg Fahrenheights Delacroix Age: 466 Title: Ruler of the Talona Order Hair: Silver Eyes: Fiery Red Physical Description: Sieg Delacroix seems to tower over all that dare get near his presence. Being 6 ft. 7 inches tall, this would be obvious. Seemingly handsome in his appearance, Sieg has no tongue. Having an athletic build to his body as well, none have ever comprehended, or experienced, his power in physical displays. Having a human father and vampire mother, his vampiric abilities are unmatched amongst other Dunpeal. [img:420483f685]http://ic1.deviantart.com/fs8/i/2005/343/d/1/Mask_of_Talona_by_Odakira.jpg[/img:420483f685] Having the attribute to change within something rather demonic, Sieg is able to use the Mask of Talona at his will to transform. Personality: Sieg is an intellectual character. His silence has always proven charming to those of the other sex, and respectable amongst others. His thoughts always remained isolated within the depths of his mind, but would prove themselves through his actions, for he is mostly up front about them. History: Sieg was born within the noble grounds of Lea Monde, France. Having a troublesome time dealing with communication, he took a liking to the local libraries. The libraries being a quiet haven and resource of knowledge. It was a short period of time before he had read every book within all the libraries of Lea Monde. This gave him the intelligence he has today. Sieg's father and mother died both a tragic death. His father was stoned by the locals, for they believed him to be using the 'Black Arts of Witchcraft'. Sieg's mother came in an attempt to rescue her father, but an undercover vampire hunter killed her in her attempt. Forced to run off into the woods, Sieg kept out of contact with humans for long periods of time. The only times he met them were to quench his thirst for blood. Forty years had passed when Sieg came into contact with something of mythical power. Refuging within a cave, something caught the young Dunpeal's attention. Not by sight or sound, but in his mind he knew something was there. Deep within the cave, resided a mask that seemed to be made of some blackish crystal. Sieg could feel the power almost reach out from the mask and pull him into it. Falling into the mask's lament of a master (as though it would seem), Sieg adorned the facial apparel. Without knowing so, a small transformation (almost as if a gift from the mask itself) came upon the Dunpeal, and gave him not one, but three tongues. With this, Sieg could finally speak, and the tongues did not give much a problem with being concealed in his mouth. Oddly, the Dunpeal was never able to accomplish telepathic messaging to others of his kind. Wearing the mask throughout his life, taking it off now and then, during one of Sieg's 'hunts', the mythical crystal-face burnt a symbol into the head of his prey. Confused slightly as to what this would do, the dead became alive once more, and rose to meet whatever command the Dunpeal gave. This created the Cult of Talona. Present day, the Dunpeal lurks within Corporations and Orders involving the 'Children of the Night'. Mostly placing his minions to help those who oppose Hellsing's Organization, he gave help to Millenium in their current goal. His reason for choosing to be against Hellsing remains unknown, but over the past four centuries, a great army of his own had grew, and could strike at any moment. Equipment/Apparel: Sieg weilds a sword of unknown origin; possibly from the same ethereal realm that Odakira and Wolfgang were able to construct their own. Adorned in a black frock coat with a royal blue lining, Sieg's pants, shoes, and cloak match as well. The Mask of Talona he does not wear often, for he already has his army, and feels that there is no need to speak for his actions. |

Things on the Hellsing RP have been going slow, and I was hoping speed things up with this character. Just lemme know whats up or whatever :P no rush/worries and..... ITS SNOWING!!! :D |

one thing, though. Dunpeal/dhamphir are very short lived in comparison to full vampires. Their lives generally fall into the range of 200-250 years. thats one of the things we're going to throw out at you to start with. Thank you, The Admins |

Same with Alucard from Castlevania (he's Dunpeal as well). O.o; I guess they have things different in Hellsing rules, or whatever you want to call it. :P
I'll change it when I get further confirmation on ages and such for Dunpeal from you guys, I'll also look on the internet for info as well to see what I can find. Till then, thanks though for letting me know whats up! :D Happy Holidays, Martinez |

Here are my issues, in no particular order: - The mask. I seem to be the only one who has a strong problem with this, but I'm sorry. I do. There is no evidence of any such "magical" items existing in the Hellsing world, and besides... it seems almost useless, to me. Explanations follow: - Three tongues. I think we all have some misgivings about this. Besides allowing him to speak three languages, do these serve any purpose? If not then... why bother? You can live for a very long time, so I think you've plenty of time to just *learn* as many languages as you want (heck, even MORE than three, if you want; there are humans who can speak more, so I don't see why a dhampir would have problems) - Ability to, essentially, make ghouls. Why not just be a full vampire? And this is just nitpicky, but you have him being tongue-less in the physical description, yet he gains three sometime in the history. Does he, or does he not have three tongues? |
| Odakira Joined: 9 Jul 2005 Posts: 412 | Posted: Mon Dec 19, 2005 12:13 am Sorry for not being so clear about it. :( What I meant by the three tongues is kinda weird. So, I'll kinda simplify everything for ya :P
Let's say the Dunpeal/dhampir has three stages to him. 1. His normal self. Dunpeal with no tongue. 2. With the mask on, it gives him three tongues within his jaw by embedding itself into his face. But it is removable. As for the languages, he just knows them. The tongues have no ability in this stage other than to give him speech. 3. Beastly transformation - Allowing the mask to channel it's power through him, he is able to transform into something that resembles a skeletal gargoyle (gaining wings and skeletal armor from the mask itself. Kinda like Arucard's twisted dog/wolfy form, but Sieg's power is from the mask and not himself), but he is still Dunpeal. Just with some add-ons, let say. :P As for the tongues in this stage, he can use them as spears. They basically project out from his mouth and stab up to three targets of his choosing. As for having a problem with the relic being in the Hellsing world, that's okay. I haven't read the mangas, but I've watched the episodes and don't believe I've seen a magical relic or item yet. If this becomes a problem to the admins, I am willing to remove it. And to clarify his tongues, he was born with no tongue. The mask simply gives him tongues to talk with, and use as weapons during his transformation. Hope this will do. Any further questions I'll be willing to answer. |
| Eshe Joined: 14 Nov 2003 Posts: 485 | Posted: Mon Dec 19, 2005 6:25 am Well, seeing as how those magic relics are not present in the anime, nor are they present in the manga, I don't think having it in the rp would be permissable. |
| Odakira Joined: 9 Jul 2005 Posts: 412 | Posted: Mon Dec 19, 2005 7:55 am Yeah, I'd probably say so myself. But since this is a roleplay involving vampires and other magical beings, I'm sure there is a slight chance that relics may exist in the Hellsing world. I'm not saying they do, but that there may be a slight chance. :P
But this is your RP, you guys make the decision. |
| Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Posted: Mon Dec 19, 2005 8:24 pm I think the real problem dan has with the tongues is that, firstly, one tongue is just a good as three for three languages, and, if you are simply going to create a character with no tongue and then give him a tongue, what's the point?
I don't actually have a problem with the mask, but it is slightly odd. Given that this is an improbable world, though, who can say? er, this has nothing to do with your character, but it's just annoying me for no real reason. Which one of your parents is vampire? it changes at some point in the bio. as an alternative to the mask, you could simply leave him with no tongue and give him the telepathic powers of a vampire...maybe. I'm not sure if dunpeal can do that or what, so don't bank on that. I throw this back to the other admins for comments. |
| Odakira Joined: 9 Jul 2005 Posts: 412 | Posted: Mon Dec 19, 2005 8:41 pm No no no, I'm saying that he gains three tongues as a physical transformation by the mask. It does NOT give him three languages at all. The languages, as we all know, would be a mentality sort of thing. By what I meant with "With this, Sieg could finally speak,..." I simply meant he could talk, like if I were to be standing in front of you and said 'Hello'. :P I don't think I put anything about him gaining three languages from the mask. -.~; If anything he would of learned it by books or something.
As for the parents, thanks for pointing that out. ;) I fixed it. It was his mother who was the vampire. Sorry about the mix up! :P |
