Here's that other character I mentioned a few days ago. I'll leave her open for adoption, so if anyone wants to play her, they can. I'm willing to allow her personality to be flexible and altered from its state as written. If no one's interested, I'll play her as well as Lyn. I'm used to handling two characters at a time.

Name: Sarah
AKA: Tekkaman Saebel
Race: Radam
Gender: Female
Class: Space Knight
Alignment: Rebellion/anti-Valkier
Age: 26
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 137 lbs
Hair color: Brown
Eye color: Blue
Skin Color: Milk White

Skills and abilities (note: most require she be wearing her armor):
Shock beam: Fires a lightning-like blast from the forearm.

Voltekker: The top part of Saebel’s shoulder armor folds up and fires a massive energy beam. This is her most powerful attack, and is very fatiguing to use.

Shield: A green sphere of energy capable of stopping outright or significantly weakening the impact of most energy weapons.

Homing missiles: Saebel’s cape splits into multiple homing missiles that swarm outwards and strike any nearby targets. Damage from individual missiles is relatively low. The cloak reforms afterwards.

Saebel’s Tekkaman armor allows her to survive in the vacuum of space, is flight-capable even in an atmosphere, and greatly augments her strength. It provides extremely high defense, and is capable of self-repair if damaged. Saebel must summon her armor in order to use it. This requires her armor crystal, and takes a short period of time for the armor to form; it also produces a protective energy field around her as the armor appears. She prefers to be at full combat output for as short a period as possible, but simply wearing her armor requires little power consumption and can be done indefinitely (if she’s fighting, she uses a lot of energy for engines and weapons).

Sarah is capable of deriving nutrition from a wider variety of food than humans, and will eat things they’d consider unappetizing, greatly cutting food costs. Unfortunately, she also eats about twice as much as expected. Much of this extra need is due to the large amount of energy consumed when in full combat mode. She also heals slightly faster than a human, but no less efficiently, hence her many scars.

Weapon: Spear/double-bladed sword: The standard weapon for a tekkaman, a six foot long spear-like weapon consisting of two identical blades connected by a foot long handle in the center. It can be separated at the center into two swords. (Somewhat similar to a “staff-saber” from Star Wars)
Other equipment and possessions: Tekkaman Armor, Armor crystal

Appearance: Sarah has an average height and build. She has waist-length brown hair kept in a long braid, and her ice blue eyes have slitted pupils, like a cat’s. Her skin is naturally milk white in color, and the symbol on her forehead is a midtone blue. Her body is covered in scars from cuts and burns, as a result of the various experiments, and multiple fights. If not for the scars, she could be considered beautiful. She usually wears her old uniform, or whatever clothes are available to her. Her collar is “locked” and cannot be removed; an egg-shaped gem hangs from it. She speaks with a slight German accent.

Personality: Sarah is usually warm, friendly, and polite, although she becomes cold and withdrawn if asked about her past. She’s unused to human company, having spent the past three years as an imperial research subject, and is therefore quite happy to have some again. She’s rather clueless regarding most innuendo, idioms, and the like, taking their meaning literally. She’s powerful and knows it, but can probably be bested easily by Xiaran magic. Although she’s helping the revolution, her primary driving force is simple revenge; she also feels indebted to the rebel forces for rescuing her when she was adrift and unconcious. The noble ideals of the rebellion tend to go over her head, or she simply doesn’t care, as of now.

Despite her ability in battle, she’s relatively clumsy and awkward. She also still believes she is owed the respect she commanded amongst her own people.

Background/history:
The Radam: a race of warriors and creators of the tekkaman armor. Over the centuries they carved a small empire from the surrounding systems. But, like all things, the Radam empire came to an end. Although they lost none of their technology, the empire fell into a decline, and was consumed by another warlike race of expansionists. Soon, only the Radam homeworld remained to oppose the Tiershaa empire. The Radam fought to the last man, inflicting heavy losses to the invading fleet. But, eventually they fell.

Saebel was among the few survivors who were captured and sent to imperial research installations for experiment and study, due to their unique abilities. The imperial scientists subjected her to all manner of experiments in attempts to figure out the secrets to her armor and abilities. After three years of tests and demonstrations, she finally snapped and escaped, destroying anything in her path.

She fled until she fell unconscious, and was eventually found drifting through space by a resistance ship (seems to be their primary way of finding new recruits). As soon as she was pulled onboard the ship and in an acceptable atmosphere, her armor disappeared, as its life -support was no longer necessary. Once she woke up, Saebel briefly explained her situation. She was also extremely hungry. At least she’d eat just about anything, including some things the crew would consider inedible. She has only recently arrived at the resistance base, and is looking for ways to help, as well as explaining herself in greater detail. She uses the name “Sarah” since it seemed no one was comfortable calling her “Saebel.”

Notes:
“Saebel” is the proper spelling of the German “Säbel.” “Sabel” is also correct as far as pronunciation (and is the more common way to drop an umlaut on an “a”).

Sarah/Saebel is one long reference to a relatively obscure old anime. It's pretty obvious, too. Character reference art is forthcoming, as soon as I finish it (reworked character, redesigned look). Also, imperial scientists are capable of using their research; they can probably make a decent copy of a tekkaman's armor, but it'd be an imperfect copy, not a bio-mechanical suit.

Ah, sorry it took me so long! I don't see any blatant errors, and while I have not seen said anime, I have heard of it ;)

but i don't mind, it seems fitting. Very well balanced character! Only real issues were a few minor spelling mistakes, but I'm sure you understand that; we all make spelling errors, i know I've made some pretty bad ones myself XD

approved! will add to character list now, and put you as the temporary RPer unless someone else wants this character...

It's ok on the late reply. And I make typos all over the place, considering my keyboarding skills are usually on par with those of a drunk monkey. I'm usually too lazy to fix them, but I can go in, proofread for errors, and make any changes.
