OOC:Meanie... -.-

Elaina waited silently in the corridor for a sound, any sound besides the twins shuffling. Yankeirou beame more and more restless. He's here, she heard him whisper in her mind. She was about to ask where when hear a soft footstep followed by a large clanking noise of metal hitting metal. Any rookie in the intelligence agency would know that this sound is bad. Elaina knew that it was probably some kind of bomb, so she closed her eyes and covered her face the best she could with her arm. Then she pointed her gun in the direction where she heard the footstep and fired three times. She heard them hit a barrier, a wall or a door, and she cursed to herself. Elaina heard the bomb go off and could just barely see the flash of light, and she jumped back and ducked behind a corner. She uncovered her face, smirked, and gave him the reaction he wanted; she cried out in pain and bumped into the wall to make it sound as if she had lost her vision. Her performance was convincing. While she worked for Intelligence, she tricked her enemies into thinking they had the upperhand plenty of times in the field.

Even after the general's shots missed, Hawkes felt uneasy. /That was far to simple.../ he thought. Nevertheless, if there was a chance she was blinded, he had to take it. He rolled out into the already darkened corridor. He kept his blade ready so that he could deflect attacks within a second. /Come out, come out, wherever you are.../ he thought. He hoped that Melia would choose to drop in when he needed it. With any luck, Storming did not even know of the Amran's presence. But if she had the eagle...

Elaina heard something move in the hall, but she resisted shooting at the rebel right then and there. She didn't feel like missing, so she dedcided to wait for him to come to her. She shuffled around for a moment as though the "blind" general wasn't sure where to go, but stopped when she felt she had given him what he needed to find her. That's right, little rebel, she smirked in the dark. Come to me...

When he sounded like he was almost close to the corner where she hid, Elaina whipped around. Her eyes had grown accostomed to the darkness, and she was able to see the outline of a person. Boo, she thought, and as though it was a reflex, she fired at him three times with each gun before ducking behind the corner again. Elaina holstered the first gun because her revolvers were only six shooters, so that one was out of bullets. She kept her fingers on the trigger in case those bullets were not enough to kill him right away, and drew another gun from her shoulder holster.

"Have you had enough?" Elaiana mocked softly. She stepped back from the corner, staying close to the wall, and raised her guns. She estimated where his head and heart would soon be (if he made it this far), and kept her arms steady. "Or are you thirsty for more?"

"Hardly." said a voice from off to one side of the general. His blade was now "drawn," directed at her face and casting a glow over both combatants. When Elena had stepped out from the corner, Hawkes had rolled on instinct and had luckily gone right under the bullets, and had stopped in the general area of Storming. He hardly thought he had her beaten, but even an early offensive could gain ground against a powerful opponent.

"It's not often I see anyone wielding one ancient Single Action Army, much less three." Haweks said after a moment. "In an age of electronic shields to protect from blasters, the physical assualt from a bullet would be very effective. However, you've only got 18 shots altogether, and you've used at least 9, if I have been counting correctly. Somewhat of an inconvience, isn't it?"

"Indeed, but a cornered wild cat is all the more dangerous," Elaina replied calmly as though she did not even notice the energy blade. She was surprised because she had never encountered another person with an energy blade, and that this human had managed to obtain one. However, she held the upperhand, since her guns were still aimed at his head and heart. "And I might have only 9 shots left, but it only takes one well-placed bullet to kill you." She tapped the trigger of the gun aimed at his head. "With a twitch of my index finger I can end your life, Hawkes (insert whatever his last name is here)." She laughed softly. "It's about time that the heads of Empire Intelligence and Rebel Intelligence met, isn't it? Too bad our meeting must be so brief."

Then Elaina pulled the trigger and blew Hawkes' brains out.

OOC:Well, if I had my way, that's what woud have happened, but I'm not allowed to go around and kill people without the admins ok, or the players permission. Boots is both, and I doubt you'll let me kill him so quickly... poop... I don't know what else to do though!! TT__TT It would be a lot easier just to bump Hawkes off!!! Oh well... *thinking* ... OO!! Nevermind!!! I got somethin'!!!! *uses FDR's powers* BACK IN TIME!!! BACK IN TIME!!!

Btw: What is Hawkes' last name??

"It's about time that the heads of Empire Intelligence and Rebel Intelligence met, isn't it?" Elaina asked coolly. Suddenly, in one swift moment, the general leaned backwards until left hand made contact with the cold floor, and then she kicked him in the stomach right below his diaphram. When her feet were on the ground, she rolled to right and shot him in the leg.

OOC:I dun’ think Hawkes has a last name, Mo… ;o;

Melia watched the tussle, prepared to move when she saw a chance. She waited to draw Xenos until the last moment, knowing that calling him would reveal her position. She wanted to stay this way- seeing while her opponent was blinded*- for as long as possible, or at least until she was forced to act.

Stahlflugel became distracted for one second, but she came back to herself when she heard a thud and a gunshot. It was immediately apparent that Hawkes had been hurt, but not how bad.

Shit, how could I have I let myself get distracted, I… I could have prevented whatever just happened, Melia thought, angry with herself. Luddamn, she thought, one tear dripping onto the floor tiles.

“Luddamn Empire,” she said as she jumped Elaina. She gritted her teeth with anger as she gripped the General in a grim hug.

OOC:*Amran eyes= pwnage… they can see better than normal people in the dark.
Can’t beat an Amran in close combat! ;D

Falling backwards from the kick to the stomach, Hawkes gritted his teeth as the bullet entered his leg above the knee. /Damnit!/ he thought, rolling backwards to end up on his feet. His leg almost gave out from under him, but Hawkes refused to fall before the fight was even started. Then he saw Melia grab Elaina from behind.

"Thank you kindly, ma'am." Hawkes said, not forgetting his manners. "Do you think you could keep her there whilst I handle her little cronies?" As he spoke, he began to hobble towards the sealed door of the computer room, his blaster drawn along with his sword.

"OK," Melia grunted. She was struggling to pin the General to the floor, because although Stahlflugel was skilled in grappling, Elaina was no pushover.

The sleeve of her robe ripped at the shoulder seam, and Melia cursed. "Just hurry the hell up, birdy-butt," she said with a wink and a smirk, before going back to wrestling Elaina.

OOC:Stahlflugel won't get pizzowned until Elaina pulls out her birdeh. But I'll put that off as long as I can!!!! >:D

"Freedom" by 12 Girls Band makes me think of Stahlflugel for some reason.... e__e *puts it on repeat*

OOC:Oh noes!! ;-; I'm not sure if she's going to use Yankeirou yet or not.

Elaina's triumph of gaining the upperhand over Hawkes was short lived when someone grabbed her from behind. Her blue eyes flashed furiously as she struggled to break free from the Amran's grip. She recognized the language she swore in and knew what kind of race she was dealing with. She refused to allow this rebel to bring her to her knees, and she threw herself backwards into a wall to attempt to pin her against the wall.

"A bit far from the mines, aren't you?" the general said just loud enough for her to hear, her breathing was getting heavy, and she slammed the girl into the wall repeatedly. The situation was getting a bit desperate. She could hear Hawkes going towards the computer core.

"Don't turn your back on me, Hawkes," Elaina said. "I promise you will regret it."

Akari, glad to have her senses about her once more, relaxed slightly as she saw the Keitosian grow slightly worried (or so it seemed). That was when she saw it-that god damned stone. She was about to warn Falcone, but by the time her brain had told her to do as such, she was on her knees, hands ripping out individual pieces of hair as she tugged on large sections of it. The dragon blade fell from her hand and fell to the ground with a soft 'thud'. The hilt turned into a small, silver dragon and scuttled over to the fallen Queen's side.

"Damn.. you...", she managed to somehow mutter in Xarian.

OOC:Hey! It's like the Pirate Game, only with sinister intent!!! LAWL

xDDD

"Guilty as charged," Melia said, wincing and catching her breath. Melia slid down and out from underneath Elaina's legs, and elbowed the General in the back.
Melia's muscles twitched as she fought her opponent. "You won't go after him, I'll see to that. You stink of blood, General, even if you can't smell it."

"Actually," Hawkes said, turning back towards Elaina. "That's MY line." He turned back around and continued to hobble towards the computer room. He then began searching his belt for the right mine for this situtation. He hoped he had a stun bomb somewhere.

"You know, Melia, you really should just knock her out." He said over his shoulder. "It'll save you and me grief later."

Elaina grimaced when the Amran elbowed her in the back.

"Your little girlfriend can try, birdy-butt," Elaina called back to Hawkes. "But she doesn't stand a chance." And neither do you, she thought grimly to herself.

Elaina grabbed the Amran by the arm when she felt her strike hit her in the back again, and she flipped her over her head. Then she tackled her to try and pin her to the ground.

"I may smell of blood, child," she hissed. "But you smell weak, and afraid. Stand down. I have a job to do, and little time to waste with an incovenience like you."

"Hawkes, Luddamn, try not to sound so much like my brother," Melia said, smiling a little. That was exactly the kind of thing Kamil would tell her to do. "I would knock her out if I could. It's not like she's just gonna fall over unconscious willingly."

Before she knew it, however, she was on the ground, her breath had left her in a painful rush, and Elaina was on top of her. Then... something just snapped. Melia's arm flashed upward, and her fist connected with the General's throat*.

"Shut the hell up," Melia spat, brows furrowing. "I'm weak? Then why're you having such trouble with a retard Amran such as me?" She grabbed her opponent's throat with the hand she had struck out with.

"Job?? All that you stand for is a lie. Justice? I spit on your idea of justice!! The Empire serves its own and exploits every other planet until everything dies."

OOC:OHSNAP. D: WTFHAPPENSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. *on edge of seat*

Elaina’s eyes stormed dangerously when the Amran insulted the Empire. How dare this upstart preach like this to her! The pain that seared through her neck, and the lack of air caused her eyes to begin to water, but she refused to cry tears caused by a rebel! She grabbed the girl's arm with one hand and pushed away from her with the other to try to loosen the vise-like grip, but she might as well have been trying to move a mountain. This girl was not letting go; Amrans might not have been known for their intelligence, but they made up for it with endurance and strength. The general found herself facing two major problems: Breathing was becoming rather hard for Elaina, and air happens to be one of the essentials for life. Not to mention that Hawkes was hobbling closer and closer to the computer core, and Elaina had a duty to protect her men. She knew she had to end this quickly, and move on to confront Hawkes again.

“I warned you, child,” the general rasped. Instantly, she kneed her opponent in the abdomen, and placed all her weight on it, while whipping another one of her guns from a thigh holster underneath her skirt. She pressed the barrel of the gun against the Amran’s arm and as soon as she felt it make contact, she pulled the trigger.

Elaina felt a bit of blood splatter on to her face, and the girl’s words from earlier, “You stink of blood, General,” echoed once in her mind.

Better yours than mine, dear, she thought grimly.

OOC:OH NOES!!! WHAT WILL THE POOR WIDDLE AMRAN DO NOW?!?!?! *evil laugh*
