Anyone up to play defender? XD Just set yourself up near a wall in a less-populated part of the village, and you'll be in ^^ Why are we doing this? Cause Kenji is wierd like that, and enjoys killing things randomly, even if he doesn't really get anything out of it. Unless of course, someone who RPs a Hyuuga decides to join this RP ;) *hint-hint*
Um, as far as i can think, all you really need to know is that this is about a year after my last post in the "Genin Training School" thread Two small black specks were painted against the brilliant blue sky. They moved up and down in the motion of birds, soaring high on the thermals, then gliding back down in search of another. The lookouts dismissed these as nothing more than the birds which they seemed to be; he could easily see thousands of birds in a day -- why should this be any different? He'd been trained to expect the unexpected, but he never thought to expect the expected; it never occured to him that what seemed to be a harmless pair of birds could be a threat to many lives in his village. Miles away, the birds set foot silently upon the ground. Their faces were shrouded by large hoods, and their bodies hidden by dark cloaks. Even their general figures were indistinguishable from one another -- they could be male, they could be female; the thick material of the cloaks made it impossible to tell. They moved forward with a fluidity and grace as of water, gliding along on its path tirelessly. Without any sort of visual signal, the two cloaked figures glided off the path into the woods and out of sight. As they moved silently into the woods, a solitary leaf fell from a tree, and floated softly down to the path. It was nearly half eaten by insects, yet still remained partially green. The insects had long since left, but the damage was done. The wind soon picked up, and the leaf was hurled once again upon its way. |

Yuunji, recently passing his chuunin exam, was definately a lot better than he had been one year ago. He had mastered several Jyuuken style techniques and was now in full understanding of the Hakkeshou Kaiten. His speed had increased and under Gai-sensei's supervision could open the first gate of lotus and suffer only mild effects from the energy expenditure. He was possibly one of the most powerful chuunin in the village, but still felt unsastified until he got his revenge against Sanjuro in a battle, for defeating him before. Today, however, he had better things to do. He always trained outside the village itself, around the walls of Konoha, and today seemed like the perfect day to do so. He lept up and disappeared. |

It had the ears of a cat, as well as slitted eyes. Red, circle-like designs were painted onto it, creating almost a ghastly appearance. Once the being had moved the mask around to it's contentment, it adjusted its large cloak, pulling at the sleeves and tugging the hood furthur over it's face.
A moment later, the cloaked figure took a few, quick steps up to the taller being, looking up in its direction. "Sensei, do we have any specific goal in this mission?" it asked. The voice was fairly high pitched, and it would be assumed that this was a young girl, probably in her late teens. OOC:bleh... crap >> shut up; i'm sleepy!! |

Instead, it simply slowed its pace. This one's hood was much larger, and the only thing visible of its face was shadow -- not even a vague outline could be seen.
"Yes, my dear," it said in a solemn, deep voice. "It is a difficult mission, and one of extreme seriousness. This shall be your first test, and to pass you have two requirements which you must take on without any hesitation. First, you must remain obedient and do as I instruct without question, and second, you must survive." His voice seemed old and worn, as from many years of gathering knowledge. And yet, it maintained a subtle air of youthful wisdom; perhaps the voice was an illusion. "Our mission here," he continued at length, "Is to find a member of the main-branch Hyuuga clan and take a sample of blood. The more the better, and while we needn't necessarily kill him, that may proove to be the most efficient means. Keep your whits about you, and don't hesitate to kill. You have been well trained, and if you follow my orders strictly you will survive. But for now, we are nearly within range of the village. Keep moving, and remain silent." When at last they arrived, the larger cloaked figure performed a series of nearly thirty hand seals, and removed his cloak. His appearance was greatly different from what one might expect having heard his voice. He was a young man, barely twenty, and filled with youthful energy. He proudly wore the forhead protector of the Leaf village upon his head, and wore the standard attire of a chuunin. He then performed the same set of seals, but this time placed both his hands upon the shoulders of the other cloaked figure. "Your illusion is cast," he said, his voice now warm and lively, a perfect match to his appearance. "You may remove your cloak. Now," he said, turning to look up at the great wall which surrounded Konoha, "We must scale this wall quickly, and blend into the village with great haste. Take a good look at me now, and don't forget this new appearance. While we are within the walls of Konoha, you must call me Junichi-san. Do not refer to me as -sensei, as that may blow our cover. I will call you Kasumi-san, remember that. Now hurry, and remember that with that heavy cloak off you will move many times faster than you're used to. Practice controlling your speed out here for a few moments, then I shall meet you inside." With that, Kenji dissappeared, reappearing amongst a crowd of people, unnoticed. OOC: you can describe your new appearance however you want ^^ you may also describe any change of voice; it's designed to keep anyone from knowing you're not an enemy, missing-nin, etc. There are many many layers of illusion, so it's nearly impossible to see through... Also, I forgot to mention this, but the cloak weighs a LOT, and is a type of training which Kenji uses to improve his speed far past normal standards. That accompanied with your wings will make you so fast... crazy stuff will happen; I dunno a smart analogy XD |

He dodged behind some nearby brush and noticed a girl, judging from her headband, from Konoha, zooming around outside the wall of Konoha. He quieted himself and blended in with the foilage around him to avoid detection. Something was definetly odd here, her speed least of all. |
