Nenshoukaze walks tiredly along the dusty path towards the Hidden Leaf Village. Though you might not guess from his appearance -- as he only looks to be about fourteen -- he is one of the top-ranked jounin from this village. His eyes are covered by sleek, dark sunglasses which seem to be almost entirely opaque; its a wonder how he can see out of them, if he even can. Vertically along his right eye is a long slender scar which goes halfway down his cheak. His hair is largely disheveled, although it seems to maintain a certain subconcious degree of controlled messiness which cannot truely be described with words. Though normally it might be long and in a messy sort of samurai-esque pony tail, it is presently cut a little short, and seems to stand up on its own. His attire is not the traditional Jounin uniform, but one of his own choosing. His pants are mid-way between baggy and normal, and are tied off at the ends. He wears several layers -- a dark shirt under a vest, under a much fancier vest --, and on top of it all is a large, black trench coat of a thin, yet warm material with untied belts flailing in several directions from several places. His hands are presently covered by rather large leather gauntlets. At his side, he carries two swords, one katana, and one slightly shorter one: a wakazashi. On his right leg, of course, is a traditional kunai holster.

As he nears the gates to the hidden village, the guards immediately snap to attention, greeting him almost as if he were royalty of some sort.

"Ah! Good morning, Kaze-san!" one of them says. "How was the mission? Nothing for you, I'm sure."

"Please, just Kaze, or even Kaze-kun would be fine," Nenshoukaze replies in a slightly bored tone; he sighs slightly. "You do remember that you're 20 years older than me, right?" The guard laughs, almost nervously before responding.

"Ah, yes. Yes of course, I'm sorry Kaze-kun." Another sigh on Kaze's part.

"Nothing to apologize for." Kaze then walks past the guard, finally back in his home village. The mission hadn't quite been 'nothing' to him, and was much more complicated than anyone had originally thought -- but for now, he wasn't going to worry any more. He could report the mission status later, and until then he just wanted to enjoy being back home. Nenshoukaze was famed for being the youngest Jounin from the Hidden Leaf Village, though he tended to play this down as "nothing special." The secret to his success, which very few people know, is an advanced bloodline in his eyes, similar to the Sharingan from the Uchiha clan. However, though he is sometimes able to cause it to disappear, most of the time this advanced bloodline causes the pupils in his eyes to cease existance.

Kaguske stood waiting with his partners, Keiko and Akio. They were tossing shuriken up into the air in their boredom--their sensei was late. He walked through the door and looked both ways, and still no sign of him. He walked back in and sighed.

"He STILL isn't here. Where on earth could he be?" he asked, exasperated.

Kaze walks along, enjoying the scenery and the simple pleasure of being back home. He hums a tune as he walks, recalling any happy memories he can and watching the people around him.

"Oi! Kaze-sensei!" shouts a voice from behind him. It was Iruka, one of the teachers at the academy. Kaze turns around to greet him. "Did you forget about your students or something? You've got to be at least an hour late!"

"Oh. Oh! Right! I knew I'd forgotten something!" he exclaims sheepishly. "Ah, thanks for reminding me. I'll be going then," he says, then hops off of the ground a short distance and fades out of existance. Iruka sighs, shaking his head and turning to leave. "He may be a Jounin, but he still acts just like the rest of those his age. Oh well, I suppose it can't be helped."

Nenshoukaze stops in his apartment really quick to drop off his swords -- he wouldn't need them to test Genin. He quickly grabs a few miscellaneous objects and shoves them in various pockets of his jacket and in pouches along his belt. Alright, he thinks to himself. Time to go teach. I hope using Kakashi-sensei's style of test wont cause me to have a similar reputation of failing almost all of my students. Brushing this thought aside, he exits his apartment and zips off to the Academy, where his students were the last ones waiting in the room.

He slides open the door and takes a step inside, surveying his possible future students. He is slightly upset that some of them seemed to be taller than him, though he assumed they would be equally upset to see that he was just barely older than they were.

"Ah, ohayoo," he says with a smile on his face, as though he'd actually arrived early.

OOC:*Note: Ohayoo is an informal way of saying 'good morning.' It may be a bit late for this greeting, but oh well. Though he can say it to students, it would be quite rude for students to respond in the same way. If they were being polite, they'd use "ohayoo gozaimasu." Maybe they'd use "konnichiwa" though since it's probably not really so much morning anymore, and could express annoyance that way. But whatever. You could even just respond in english ^.-

OOC:OOC: I know I borrowed a lot of stuff from Kakashi, but who can blame me? He's so cool! Anyway, I think everyone who's seen some Naruto knows how to pass Kakashi's test, but your characters DON'T. You will know this also if u know how to pass it. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE play ignorance! Thank you ^.-

Takumi OOC:hehe was leaning back against the wall of Kaze's classroom eating cup ramen. He was Kaze's partner during the tests. With there not being a multiple of 3 in the class they had both of them go togther to take Kakashi's test. They were 2 of the 5 to pass his test so far. He unlike Kaze was 15 and equally skilled. The reason he is older is because he had to go back to the academy because some of his "teamates" were incompetant.

"You're late, Kaze. Was it that hard of a mission," he laughed.

Nenshoukaze turns to the back of the class.

"Ah, my good friend," he says. "I was wondering when you'd speak up. But anyway, you know me, and you know how things like that go. I suppose I could've sped it up a bit if I hadn't forgotten about volunteering to teach this lot," he says, motioning to the other students in the classroom. "So, what are you doing here? Do you have to retake this course yet again?" he asks sarcastically.

"No, I just wanted to see how you would test these students, are you going to be like Kakashi-sensei?"

Upset at his friends remark. He did Harem no Jutso and watched the students nose's bleed a lot. Sadly, Kaze did not flinch having seen the technique used many times before. He then lowered his chopsticks into his cup of ramen hearing it click against the bottom. He looked at it with a look of distraught.

"Well, when your done with this bunch of nose bleeders come to the place Iruka used to take us I'll be waiting with a bowl of chicken ramen ready for you."

In response to Takumi's first question, he says, "Yes, that was my plan." He grins as the two young boys are practically incapacitated and the girl's look of pure disgust as Takumi preforms the "Harem no Jutsu," a technique created by a young boy named Naruto a long while ago which is often labled as "stupid" despite its effectiveness.

"All right," he says. "I'll be there." He then turns back to the kids who were recovering just barely from Takumi's jutsu. "Well then, sorry about that. Perhaps we should begin with introductions. Your name, likes and dislikes, goals for the future, and hobbies will be fine," he says, leaning against the large teacher's desk at the front of the room with his arms folded.

Takumi was not yet out the door when he heard this question. Almost quoting (except for name) what his friend said long ago, " My name is Takumi Fujiwara OOC:hehe yet again. My hobbies include eating cup ramen. I like cup ramen, but i like the cup ramen at the place Iruka takes me more. I dislike waiting 3 minutes for the cup ramen to cook." Takumi laughed as he said that. He walked out the door...

"Two cups of chicken ramen, one with spice, one without," he stated to the guy behind the counter.

Kaguske stuffs tissues up his nostril. Harem no Jutsu...interesting choice... He smiled a bit and said,

"I am Kaguske Sagara. My hobbies include throwing shuriken at logs. I like little, except throwing shurikens. I dislike it when people get the best of me. Any questions?"

OOC:for fun, i'm also going to have a student character...yea...

Nenshoukaze raises an eyebrow interestedly at Kaguske who didn't seem to have much respect for his new sensei. For now, he ignores it, and turns his attention to the girl. OOC:I guess i'll RP her since Boots didnt and i want to move this along

"Um...My name is Keiko Mizuki," she says. "I like...well...there's this one thing..." She begins to blush a bit. "Ah, well, my dislikes...are perverts like that guy who just left. Hobbies? Um...I don't know, I have some...but..." Nenshoukaze stifles a sigh as Keiko wraps up her introduction, turning his attention to the last boy. OOC:Whom I'm controlling now. His new name is Nenji

Nenji looks at his teacher, chin on hands, with a look as if he were trying to see through the man, into his mind.

"I am Nenji Shinomori," he says in a thoughtful, half-bored voice, as though he didn't really care with the Sensei thought of him. "I don't like much, and there's probably about the same amount that I dislike. I don't really think that I have any hobbies, and my goals for the future aren't very numerous either. I would like to know how a guy like you could become a jounin, however... Sensei."

"You would, eh?" Nenshoukaze responds in a voice similar to Nenji's, though slightly more enthused. "Well, there's not much to tell. A rough childhood drove me to become strong. I had a good teacher, and that's about it." He smiles, then continues. "I'm sure you all can do just as well if you work hard." Nenji shakes his head slightly.

"Really? Whatever, what about you then?"

"Me? Okay, I suppose that's in order," Kaze says. He pauses a moment, thinking back and then proceeds. "You can call me Nenshoukaze. I have no intent to tell you my likes or dislikes. Hmmm...goals for the future, eh? ...hmm, well, I have lots of hobbies..."

The group seems to sigh collectively as they learn even less about him than he did them.

"Well, I suppose that'll do for today. I'll meet you tomorrow in the field bright and early. Make sure to bring all of your shinobi equipment. Oh, and by the way," he says, deliberately making his tone slightly graver. "Don't eat breakfast -- You'll throw up." He turns around and heads for the door.

"Well, so long!" Nenji looked after Kaze with half-suspicious eyes, then gets up himself. This was a waste of time, he thinks to himself as he walks out the door, waving to the other two as he goes. When he steps out of the door, however, his Sensei is nowhere to be seen. What? Where'd he go!? I didn't even sense him leaving! He narrows his eyes slightly, but thinks nothing of it -- Nenshoukaze WAS a jounin, after all -- and resumes his return home.

Kaze appeared near the ramen shop and walked over to where Takumi was sitting. "Oi, Takumi-kun! Good to see you again. Where's my ramen? Oh and, by the way, Keiko thinks your a pervert."

"Hey Kaze. Why the..., OOC:trying not to use bad words so the Korean girl down the street will like me more cause she doesn't like me saying things like that so ... sub in what word you want. I AM NO PERVERT! SHE HAS GOT NOTHING THERE SHE IS 12 FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!" he said all this while passing Kaze his ramen. Almost everybody on the whole street was looking at him funny. That was expected, he wasn't the most disciplined person. "So are you going to do everything the same way Kakashi did it or not? I say you fail this bunch. Just to set a rep. for you and I don't like people that call me a pervert, especially flat ...es like her!"

"Another round of ramen, extra spice," he told the guy behind the counter. OOC: He will probably get heart disease cause so much spice, lol

Nenshoukaze laughs a bit, slurping up a mouthful of ramen.

"Yea, I'll use Kakashi's test. I plan to give 'em a rough time, but we'll see about whether or not they fail," he says. "Especially that Kaguske kid. He'll learn his place, to respect his sensei." He takes another slurp of his ramen, clearly enjoying it. He asks the guy behind the counter for a cup of green tea and a bowl of shrimp ramen after he finishes his present bowl with another long slurp.

His conversation continued with random different topics. He looked over at the clock and saw that it was close to the time the stand closed.

"I better get going, I want to get some sleep so I can come watch your students fail. Especially the one who called me a pervert."

He quickly dissapeared like he did earlier. Unlike the students, he could tell Kaze could sense him leave and could track his movements.

He opened his door and entered his apartment. He jumped onto his futon and closed his eyes after setting his alarm.

Nenshoukaze sighs contentedly, having finished a good meal. He tosses some money onto the counter and then turns to leave as well, dissappearing and reappearing in his apartment. He yawns, changes into his sleeping clothing and crawls into bed.

-----

After finishing his meal, Nenji goes outside into a nearby forest and finds his way to a clearing. He puts a few kunai and shuriken into the various pockets on his person and then tosses his equipment bag aside. He goes about resetting some traps he'd set up some time ago, then moves to the center and focuses. I've got to learn how to use that technique if I'm going to do well, he thinks. Not only tomorrow, but in the tests to come.

"Alright!" he says. Then, he tosses a shuriken off to the right and shouts, "Begin!" A mass of kunai and shuriken suddenly rain down upon him. He concentrates his chakra and forces himself to see, and to react. He could tell he was improving, and could feel that the he was nearly able to use the clan's ultimate technique. However there was still more training needed. He still got nicked on many occasions by the various weapons flying past him. As the hail of weapons slows he flips around, wrenching up a shuriken from the ground and dodging three or four kunai in the same movement, then tosses the shuriken. Just as they were slowing, the hail begins anew.

This training goes on for about another quarter-hour, at which point all of the traps had been triggered, and Nenji went about the tedious task of resetting them for the next day's training. He could feel his awareness increasing, and his speed multiplying -- his goal was just around the corner. Perhaps tomorrow would be the day; who knows what tomorrow will bring?

Kaguske walked home, wondering why this sounded so familiar. He knew he heard it somewhere, but he didn't remember where...Oh well. It didn't matter. He was going to eat a big dinner, though. Mmmmmmmm... he thought. Ramen...
