Not a clue. He wouldn't know, either. She's the "Lost E'ron Daughter," remember? XD Nobody knows who she is. She'd never reveal it voluntarily. Besides, her life was extremely sheltered; her father probably never interacted much with his brother. So they're both probably clueless, at least for the time being. They may feel something, but certainly nothing strong enough or specific enough to be able to pick it out.
Vega laughed, deciding right away that she liked this young man. He was witty, at least; that was something she didn't see much. All to often, her employers' senses of humor didn't extend past, Hey, look, he's screaming in pain. That's kinda funny. Haha. Ha. She felt the doors swing open as another presence entered-- another Force user. She was about to open her mouth to say something to Jidat, when she felt something... almost like a chill. A strong Dark-Side aura, perhaps? Or perhaps it was something else. Either way, she felt it for only a moment before coming back to the present. "I'm sorry," she said, her brows drawing together in confusion, then smoothing out again-- all of this was, of course, hidden by the veil. "Sudden, ah... momentary lapse." The smile returned to her face as quickly as it had left. "My apologies." She kept her mind's eye on the dark aura, though, just in case. Whoever it was, she didn't like it. |

"Not at all," Jidat replied, a hint of concern inching its way into his voice. Only a hint, of course. "Sure that water isn't too strong for you?" His words were light-hearted, yet he had a feeling that he knew what had troubled her. He sensed a strong Dark power -- well hidden, but nevertheless there -- and the girl from the bar was going to meet it. Interesting. It must be fate that all these force users met at this particular bar, he mused. Suddenly, there was a crash from the corner. A particularly drunk customer had actually smashed a glass into his hard, scaly forehead. Hah, so much for fate. OOC: And... I'm not sure what else to do. |

Tegal, almost like a statue, had remained motionless. He watched as Eragus and Zaris had their little meeting outside the door, only to walk right back inside the tavern. "Hmm... Something should happen now." Tegal thought, letting his fingertips graze his chin. After a moment of planning in his mind, he finally decided it was time to come down. Turning about, Tegal walked down the stairs and around the building in front of the tavern door. Throwing the doors open, he made his way inside, only to stand at the door while facing the direction of his foes. He was dead-silent. Under his facial apparel, his eyes had locked onto Jidat, and like a flame, his hatred began to grow within once more. His hands began to clench, but... "No... Not here. Let them follow you somehow. Somewhere less populated with vermin of the Light side." Tegal crossed his arms, and simply waited. His senses locked onto those whom he considered threats: Jidat, Eragus, and Zaris. They were his top priorities. As for the others, if they became involved, he would deal with them accordingly. Until then... He waited. OOC: And sorry for the crappy post. And future-apologies to everyone about not being able to post much because of school and work. |

PS. Martin... how the hell did Tegal JUMP the whole way down? Way to defy physics yet again... I made Eragus use the elevator in the last post, if you notice, because he couldn't jump so far. Eragus raised an eyebrow. "He's outside." "What do we do?" Zaris said. "We wait," He answered. "We wait and see what he'll do..." |

But either way, he's going inside the tavern. -__-; |

A laugh-- a little forced, but not unconvincing-- passed Vega's lips. "I'm not much of a drinker," she admitted jokingly, but her focus was clearly not on the conversation. She didn't even pick up on Jidat's tiny hint of concern, which normally might have amused her. Her concentration was not so pleasantly occupied-- the girl they'd been speaking to was on her way to meet the very aura which had forced Vega into such an awkward, fumbling lapse in focus. Best not to meddle, she reminded herself; still, her thoughts were so far away that she literally jumped when she heard the crash. "What a... genius bunch, hm?" she joked, forcing her mind back to the present location. "Whatever you're serving here ought to be made illegal." OOC:Like I said, Vega doesn't have a clue who he is. If/when she finds out, her reaction'll probably be, "EW! That creep's my UNCLE?!" But till then... clueless. |

Either during the timeskip or before that? I guess not though. >__>;; Silly me.
I can't wait until that day, Chris. That'll be hilarious :) Because Boots fails, I still can't post as Kylin... Eragus rubbed his temple. "Well... I don't really care if he destroys this shithole, or kills anyone (okay... excluding us two), but him being so close is really starting to piss me off..." "He never can just die like everyone wants him to, jeez," Zaris said, chuckling. "Yeah, really." Eragus smiled a little. "But, I'm interested to see what the little booger does. Let's leave him be for a while, and get some drinks." "Can do," Zaris said, pointing to the bar. "Two vodka tonics, please..." |

He nodded in agreement as she continued to speak. "'Ought to be made illegal?'" Jidat laughed, throwing a glance behind the bar. "My dear friend, which part of this place, exactly, did you think was actually up to the legal standards? No, I'm afraid it's not so much a matter of making the drinks illegal, but more of serving them legally. You see, don't tell anyone, but we don't actually have a license to sell rocket fuel." Jidat winked at her, though he began to wonder if she could even see such a gesture.
"You wouldn' a be jokin' fun o' me drinks, would ya?" the bartender asked, though he clearly didn't care about the answer. It was apparent that he only liked to hear himself speak, because he suddenly decided to chuckle at some strange joke that only he appreciated. It was about then that the two Sith sat down and ordered their drinks. He looked at them stupidly, his mouth hanging wide open, for exactly twenty-three seconds before hobbling off to make the drink. At least, he was going to try; he'd heard of vodka, but he thought tonic was something to be used with hair. But, he'd put weirder things in drinks before, so he figured it was worth the attempt to make a few credits. OOC: Ohhhhh god. XD |

The wink was, of course, entirely lost on her, but she caught the basic attitude behind it from Jidat's aura. "I can't say I'm surprised," she said, as soon as the barkeeper passed. She mentally watched him for the full twenty-three seconds before turning back to Jidat. With an oaf like that in charge...
She might have spoken her thoughts out loud, had she been certain of Jidat's reaction. But she was not. And there was, again, no cause for rudeness; people took the strangest things personally, and Vega's instincts were to avoid treading on anyone's toes yet. Oh, she might stomp on their feet eventually-- but that would come later. "Perhaps it's a good thing I've stuck to the water, hm?" She raised an eyebrow, though the expression was covered by the veil. "Or is there something I don't know about that, as well?" |

"I don't think I'd chance the water in this place. I'd probably have the runs for weeks... But whatever floats your boat, I suppose..."
The bartender set their 'drinks' in front of them. "What the hell is this?" Eragus said, grabbing the glass and swirling it under the bartender's nose. "This seems to be vodka and..." Here he poked at the white stuff inside the clear liquid. "...Hair tonic. Now honestly, who in the whole damn universe would want that?" He smirked, and tossed the contents of the glass onto the bartender's face and front, and then threw the glass down. "You use tonic water, you dipshit." |

"Now that you mention it," he said, taking the glass right from her without warning and inspecting it, "you might be safer drinking out of the gutters." He swirled the thing around and watched the contents with a look of disgust on his face.
"Waahhh err... water?" the bartender stuttered stupidly. "I don' water down my drinks! How dares you! Katsu, get your Jedi ass o'er here and show'm the door! We don' take kahndly to insults!" The large creature looked very smug, expecting a great show and to at least look cool in front of his customers. He was about to be extremely disappointed. "Excuse me? I'm no Jedi, and I'm certainly no employee of yours," the Shadow responded in mock-confusion. The truth was that he had no intention of taking on what was clearly two very powerful Sith. He wasn't joking about the employee part, though. Just then, he'd decided to quit. The bartender replied with real confusion. "Wahh... uhh wah huh? Don' you be gamin' wi' me now! I.. uh err..." Jidat rolled his eyes, standing up and turning back to Vega. "I don't suppose you have any particular need to stay here," he asked hopefully. "I'd really like to hear more about your work. You know, somewhere where the water doesn't resemble toxic waste." He didn't really care too much about Vega's work. In fact, she seemed less than enthusiastic to say much more than she had, and he wasn't keen on pressing the issue. Still, he was ready for a change of scenery, and what better time than when avoiding Sith? |

The Sith were making her uncomfortable, as well, and she somehow had the feeling that her work had very little to do with Jidat's sudden wish to leave. Her next statement was not a lie: "I would love to go somewhere where the water's, ah, relatively safe."
Her curiosity had been sparked by the barkeep's comment about Jidat's "Jedi ass." Truth be told, she'd taken very little interest in his rear-- she didn't particularly like the crude word, even in her mind-- but the other part of that was interesting, to say the least. She'd detected something from him, but certainly nothing powerful enough for a Jedi.* It was the kind of aura half the population had, the kind that never manifested itself enough to be noticable. There would be time to ask questions later, she thought, and for now she certainly liked the idea of getting away from the two Sith at the bar. Their auras were easily detectable. "Where to?" she asked, picking up her walking stick and heading toward the door. OOC:*He hides his aura, correct? >< Couldn't remember; I don't even know what's going on anymore. XD I should probably go back and re-read some of the old posts. |

"Well, I guess that depends on you," replied Jidat with a sly grin. "How much are you willing to pay for water? There are some great places up-town that charge 500 credits for Corellian bottled water, and there are some places that have regular water for free. I think a know a few of those places that actually filter their water, too." Though he would never admit it, Jidat actually knew a lot about Coruscant. He'd been there for a while and, finding no interest in staying at the bar and no way his employer could stop him, he had explored the city. What he might be willing to admit, however (at least, to someone like Vega) was that he'd used his force powers on more than one occasion to persuade the waiters at the nice restaurants he referred to not to charge him. After all, he reasoned, if they charged 500 credits for something that should be free and were still in business, they were doing quite alright. OOC: I don't know what the going conversion rate for credits to USD is, so... XD; Unless someone knows, I'm just making up 10 credits = 1 dollar |
