Ten seconds. An arm as black as sin, as wrinkled as an octogenerians', ending in clawlike fingers that didn't belong on a human's body. "You know nothing," Eragus whispered maliciously. OOC:It be spreading across him like a blight :O
So while the rest of his body but the one arm is ok... it's only ok for now o__o Eragus is... dissapearing. Being eaten by Dark Force, basically. The classic Icarus tale, of course. But it's going much slower than other people Eaten Away At, and seems to have no effect on his mind. |

Mind you we are not suffering the same fate... There will be another time for this, for it seems that our conversation must be cut short."
Tegal gave a graceful bow; the top of his head exposed to Eragus. Still in this bowed position, he glanced up and spoke out, "Till we meet again." Zero... In an instant, both Tegal and Eragus were devoured in a fiery blast that engulfed and shook the top of the old building. Quick on his feet, Tegal was able to leap back at the last moment before the force of the explosion emitted would disintegrate him. Though fire was all around his figure, the leap allowed his body to be propelled at a high speed through the air. "Hmm.. So the old fool has been inflicted as well. Though we suffer physically and gain power differently, we are now the same." Tegal thought as the wind whipped his tattered cloak about his form. While thinking this, he still kept his guard up and his senses sharp, just for in case Eragus continued to give chase. OOC: I'll leave Tegal kinda floatin' in the air from the explosion so Eragus can make his move if he needs/wants to. :P |

Although he escaped relatively unscathed, with only his hair singed, he didn't dwell on that long. He was angry that he had been forced to jump forward, the firey explosion separating him from Tegal. He landed on the next building over, only a short distance away, but far enough to be safe. "Goddamnit," Eragus said, angry that Tegal had escaped... again. Eragus realized that he could give chase, but gave the idea up after a short while. He sighed. "It's not worth it... I shall meet him sooner or later, and it will be the death of him." OOC:LAMELAMELAME Oh well, it's a start... :O
OOC:Since it's been a while, here's a reminder of what the other characters are doing:
Kylin is waiting for Yuuki. Shiraz is at the bar of the restaurant, waiting for service. |

Tegal's figure twisted about in the air to ready his landing as another building grew ever closer towards him. Narrowly missing the old stone walls of the structure, he was able to land within a room through it's already broken window. Ashes and smoke leaped off of his form as he stood straight. The window behind him became curtained with a thick black smoke from the nearby explosion. All that filled the room was darkness.
'What would cause the persistent to become so... irresolute? Maybe he's after Jidat? Oh well, if not or if so, Jidat will join the dead. I will make sure of that. A breeze of wind swept through the smoke-filled room. While lost in his thoughts, Tegal lowered his Force presence, and had vanished with the dark clouds that once resided. OOC: Yay!! :D Someone posted!! |

"For now, it's all up to Zaris." He vanished into the dimly-lit elevator, and descended to the ground. He was going to go visit Tegal's once-grave... it was all he could do at the moment.
------- Kylin cocked her head to one side. "Are we going or not, Yuuki? I thought it was important." ------- Zaris said to the man tending the bar, "I'll have a beer, please." She smiled gently, inwardly thinking, Jidat! Huhn, he's doing a very good job masking himself, though, because I had to recognise him on sight alone... But, I feel that this strong power is divided, coming from more than one person... |
| Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Yuuki had stopped talking because he had felt a powerful aura. Specifically, he had felt two; both of them were dark side presences tapping into the force. Each of them were distinct, though he recognized but one. The more powerful one he could not remember, but the other....he remembered that day well. When Tegal had vanished, he had been presumed dead by the council. However, nothing was certain where the Sith were concerned.
"Our situation has become more urgent," he said, his eyes narrowing. "We must leave now, before they get too far away." He turned away from the other master and moved with great haste to the the nearest turbolift. Tegal must not be allowed to escape. |

Walking through the labyrinth of alleyways, he made his way swiftly to the tavern where he had last sensed Jidat's presence. Along the way, Tegal unwrapped the sleeves to his robe; allowing them to fall freely and conceal the lightsabers upon his forearms.
"So much fun to have in so little time." He thought to himself as he finally reached the tavern. Along the side of the building was a metal stairway that went up to the roof. Taking the stairs up to the top, Tegal was able to make a leap to the building next to it with ease. Turning and looking to the sky, Tegal removed the binary overwriter from his robes, and stared at it for a moment. "Hmm... I really have no clue as to why I brought this with me. No matter, it will be useful to grab some credits if I manage to find scoundrel willing enough to buy it. It is worth something after all." Placing the controller back within his robes, Tegal looked up to the sky to observe a hefty amount of salvage and maintenance droids fly by. "Damn, I should have used a smaller mine. Oh well." Tegal shrugged, and sat at the ledge of the building he was now upon. Waiting. |

Paying the Driver Xavior walked into the bar the place was a rat hole he could tell but he was here mainly for a drink and a place to sit. walking up to the bar he sat down next to the cream clad Zaris paying her no attention he requested a shot of rum and a stong dark lager. he sat for a moment then the fact hit him like a ton of bricks Jidat stood right before him in the very same bar. "You? its been a while youve managed quite well here it seems." leaning forward to whisper to avoid prying ears "how have you managed to supress your power this much surly the council tried to seek you out after that incident, yet youve stayed why?" OOC:umm yea only way i could think to jump in lol, poor amelia 3 completely different chars |

OOC:I will do this in order... specifically: Eragus, then Kylin, then Zaris (since Martin and Mike both made posts placed near the Tavern).
Eragus stared at the exhumed coffin. He says he has come into the Dark Side, to greater power, but my suspicion is that the Dark Side has come into him, and he is merely a puppet. He bit his index fingernail, thinking. There is no other way to explain his return from the Afterlife, to my knowledge... Other than to make a deal, and... His thoughts trailed off. He felt Tegal nearby the well-masked, yet still apparent to him, Force aura of Zaris. Hmh. Maybe our next meeting is going to be sooner than I thought. He walked away from the coffin, but suddenly stopped because he thought he heard rattling. The coffin rattling. He turned around to look, but it was nothing. And so, he left for the Tavern. ------- Kylin's eyes widened. "Tegal? Or the Sith? Both?" She shook her head. "I suppose it does not matter who. It means our enemies are back, and we must fight them." She followed close behind Yuuki to the turbolift, noticing the urgency in his voice and in the quickness of his steps. ------- Zaris sensed Tegal nearby, and got slightly nervous, and slightly antsy at the same time. I want to go kill him, but Darth Eragus said to find all of the Force users here... So I suppose I can't leave, then... Dammit. Her nervousness dissapeared as soon as she sensed the huge Force presence that was Eragus moving toward Tegal's smaller one. Good, Master Eragus'll take care of him, and I can continue to watch these guys. Zaris smiled politely as one of the bartenders gave her the beer. On one side of Zaris, a very strangely-coloured man was whispering to Jidat. Her highly-trained ears could hear every word the blue man said quite well. Hm, it seems he was part of the Tegal fiasco, too... and he's another Neutral with considerable power. She pretended not to see them, and kept her head forward most of the side, focusing instead on her drink. OOC:... *dies* ... |

btw feel free to delete this post after everyones read it, now its pretty much anyone but Zaris' or Xaviors turn to post |

It was of someone familiar to him, but not exactly known. Nonetheless it was a force user near to Jidat's calibur, as well as near to Jidat's presence, and would have to be dealt with accordingly. At the same time, Tegal picked up on Eragus' aura as well, which was more than perfect.
"Well, I guess I can deal with everyone in one day. This is going to be one hell of a day." He whispered to himself, setting his mind once again on how to deal with all the Jedi. "Now that I think of it, there just might have to be a slight change of plans... But that is if everything goes the wrong way. I'd have to wait a little while longer to find out." |

Granted, this is in a place with somewhat more advanced technology than ours, but unless the droid was connected to some sort of wireless network (which makes no sense considering it's apparently a maintenance droid) I see no feasible way to hack it without directly accessing its CPU. But, even if you were attaching your palm pilot to the droid (where did you get that? I guess you stole it?) somehow I wonder again... when did Tegal learn to hack droids?
That's all... |

He has quite an array of knowledge around technology and demolitions. If you wish for me to change the past few posts concerning the whole droid/hacking parts, I will, but I'll have to do it later tonight because I must leave for class at college. I'll await your approval or decline of the matter. |

[/grammar-nazi tendencies] Vega stepped up to the bar and ordered a glass of water-- she never drank that disgusting "hard stuff"-- and selected a small table near the door, in order to keep an eye (or, rather, an ear) on the street outside, in case anyone very noisily got out of a taxi and left it vacant for her use. After a while of sitting with no success, she decided she had time to spare and got up to order something to eat. Her ear was immediately drawn to the conversation that an accented woman and what sounded like a boy ("Rick" was usually a boy's name, after all, and the kid's voice wasn't high enough to be definitely female) were having at the next table. Better not, she thought, thinking of the ick and the grime that she couldn't see, but which was probably there nonetheless. She sat back down, being careful not to touch anything, and continued to listen halfheartedly to the conversation going on. Should probably get back to finding a taxi, she thought, feeling around with the Force-- no vacancies, at least not that she could tell. She had a pretty good mental picture of the scene around her; the only thing she lacked was the visual details, and she reached out just as one of the bartenders was passing by to tug gently on his sleeve. "Excuse me," she said, her quiet voice sounding out of place in the loud, raucous bar. "Could I get some more water, please?" |

She concentrated a bit, and could sense them all... well, except for Jidat, and she already had recognized him by sight. Let's see... One: Jidat, two: the blue man, three: the woman in green, four: the boyish girl (not much, but still...), and five:...one of those green wrinkly things. His power's high, wouldn't want to piss him off.
She took another swig of beer. Five. The boyish girl doesn't really count, though, so... Okay, four relatively strong Force users, she thought, And all of them Neutral, except for the woman in green, who toes the line between Neutrality and the Dark side... OOC:LOL Zaris' thoughts. Uh, can you tell I'm really bored? xD |
