| Strave Joined: 10 Aug 2006 Posts: 15 | Nara landed with a ligth tap on top of a house, "Fu...Sometimes i really do miss this place." He lifted his head slightly upward and let a breeze pass through his hair.
"...uh!?" He felt a surge of spiritual energy shockwave through the area. "What...in the world was that?" He looked around and saw in the distance a bright flash of blue light. This isn't good, he thought,I've never been too god at sensing spiritual energy, so for me to feel something this huge...it can't be good. A smalll buzz vibrated in his pocket, Nara pulled out his phone ad flipped it open. "Yeah." "Yamato-sama!" The voice could be heard. "We have picked up a large mass of hollows in your area...and...and..." Nara pouted with impatience. "What is it already?" "..." "Well?" "...sir...the reason I'm calling sir...is because we've lost signal of the shinigami in charge of that area...we're not reading any signs of spiritual energy from him." Nara froze, and the voice continued, "...but...we are getting something." "Understood. I'll check it out, have the other captains passed passed through yet?" "Just about Yamato-sama." "Good, thank you. Leuitenant out." He flipped his phone in and with that was off. "What the hell is going on here..." @ Tommy: can do! xD; Leyna slashed at the hollows who came near, but she was losing strength quickly, because she wasn't a fighter. She had never fought physically with anything before in her life, not counting the six weeks of karate camp her best friend forced her to go to when she was 10. It didn't help that she was hurt the worst she had ever been in her life, either. "There's gotta be more of these shinigami," she thought aloud, "I'm banking my freakin' life on it, for sure..." A hollow punched her in her shoulder, aggrivating her wound, which had just begun to close up. "Gaah," she moaned, tears starting at her eyes. She switched her sword from her dominant left hand to her right, as it was the left shoulder that was injured. She swung more weakly each time, barely managing to defend herself. OOC:Gadek: Save me plea~se! *cries*

His eye twitched visibly, and he clenched his fists in an effort to restrain himself. It simply would not do for him to enter the living world in such a mood. He took several deep breaths to prepare himself and to calm down, then sighed and walked into the gate.
Nanase, meanwhile, had an uncharacteristically serious expression on her face. Normally, when someone would make a comment about Jidat wearing a dress or something similar, she would have her hand over her mouth trying not to laugh. Instead, she touched her cheek with her index finger as she stared at nothing in particular. "I thought that blue went well with his eyes," she thought aloud. "Now that he mentions it, though, maybe darker would have been better." She nodded a few times, then shrugged. Her customary smile returned, and she walked towards the gate. "Maybe next time!" she said happily. "What...." Jidat was at a loss for words when he first arrived. He sensed a large gathering of hollows, and an unexpectedly high level of reiatsu. "Neru-san, what's going on?" Nanase arrived just in time to add on to the question. "This reiatsu.... It's definately Shinigami, and it's definately powerful," Nanase noticed, her smile once again half-faded, "but who is it?" "It's so... how to say... raw," Jidat put in, finding words again. "It is powerful, but... different. Strangely unrefined -- and it's dropping." OOC: bleh... not sure what to do, but it's definately my turn, and at least you all can go now |

but, she doesn't exactly know how she's doing it or how to discern a powerful spirit from a Shinigami, etc. Leyna closed her eyes to concentrate for a minute, not hard since they were already half-closed from exaustion. She felt like there were one, two, three, four people nearby, and they felt similar to the way Takashi had for some reason. Maybe they could help her... maybe they were shinigami! She dodged another hollow attack, and then yelled to the people she sensed as loud as she could without her vocal cords snapping: "I NEED SOME FUCKIN' HELP DOWN HERE BY THE BRIDGE!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING AND I'M ABOUT TO GET EATEN ALIVE!! KURWA!" OOC:Kurwa = f--k in Polish... LOL |

A hollowed charged, about to deliver the final attack, it's jaw wide open as if consuming the air that it rushed through. It was so close to her that the sound from it's scream racked her entire body, so near... ...The bone teeth nearly about to close into her flesh. She braced herself for the pain... ...but none came. She peered upwards. "You're very loud, no?" he said. Standing in between the girl and the hollow, Nara had a questioning look on his face. He had never seen this girl before, but she wore shinigami robes. Nara kept a firm grip on the hollows jaw, with seemingly impossible strength, he held the beast with one hand and the other lightly saluting his resue. "But it's nice to meet you anyhow. Hmm," he said now tapping his inger on his chin. "I probably should ask what happened but with this troublesome group here it would be more difficult." he placed his other hand on the bottom jaw of the monster. "Oh well, I better have as much fun as possible before the captain gets here, I don't want them to have all the fun." And with seemingly graceful ease, he tore the hollows face in half, and let go of the dissapating particles that once was a hollow. "Now," he said as he unsheathed his sword, nodding at this odd shinigami. "Let's have some fun." OOC: sorry if i used you character too much, melia, but in my opinion sometimes you have to type actions for other characters to fit with you post, i promise i wont take control or anything. BTW i'm still not sure how to use the OOC thing... HELP! |

I don't mind that you *sorta* used Gadek, I don't mind at all. I agree that it does make things flow smoother and faster >>; That's why I, uh, did it with Takashi [color=red:5788f5535f]Admin Note: We don't mind if you use other characters a little bit. As a matter of fact, there are cases where half your post you might control someone else's character. But, you should always contact them beforehand and ask permission, especially if you're having them do or say something. Then, it's usually good form to OOCly note that they gave you permission. I would post this OOCly in my own post, but I'll wait 'till boots posts before I go. PS@Tommy: I editted your post so that you have the proper thingies for OOC text. It was done, the hollows didn't stand a chance obviously. They were big but not having enough spiritual force to challenge a vice-captain. "Fu, I didn't even get to release 'it'," he let out a sigh of breath, "Not matter, it seems there is other stuff I must attend to." he said semi sarcastically, he sheathed his zanpakutoh and walked over to the girl. She was on her butt, breathing heavily, sweat pouring down her face. Nara knelt beside her. "You, you're no shinigami, even I can tell, you're still inside your body." He leaned incredibly close to her face, making a funny pout as he examined her. "So... how does one get shinigami powers if they dont have them...furthermore, how does a stationed shinigami disappear and another form." After a moment of tension he stood up and looked off into the distance. "The answer is clear enough, but such an act would mean death. especially in the eyes of him..." Nara knew that this human girl must have attained the powers from the stationed shinigami, but no punishment could be given to him...he was already dead. If his captain were to find out that she was a human, surely she would be put to death. "What to do, what to do?" He sighed waving his head. Looking down at the girl one more time, he bent over extending a hand. "Name's Yamato Narasumi..." OOC:OH NOES! captain fury! Nara plans to save her life..but how??

But, for some reason, he hesitated--and so, I took his sword and did the deed myself. He lost his powers to me, but threw himself in front of a hollow to save me. Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Takashi coughed up blood and slowly, painfully awoke. He wasn't much longer for living, he knew that and accepted it. But he wanted to make sure the girl wasn't punished for her actions. He opened his eyes and saw the 6th squad lieutenant introducing himself to Leyna.
"Lieutenant..." he gasped, more blood pouring from his mouth. "It...had to be done..." He wasn't sure how the man would react to his words, but he never got a chance. He barely even realized that there was another man there until he spoke. "She will not suffer your crimes." said a voice from behind him. Takashi whirled to see a white robed figure with his sword drawn behind him. "Rekuzan Taichou..." he said, his eyes widening in shock. He was already done for, he knew, so he did not flinch as the sword pierced both the chain link and the soul sleep, ending his life. "You will still pay for yours." OOC:honestly, did you expect him to be all touchy-feely? |

I guess that comes from being taichou? Leyna hung her head. All that Takashi did was help her to survive, and yet he had been punished. These shinigami's laws must be strange (and possibly) cruel, indeed, if this is how they rewarded kindness. Gadek smiled a small smile in the direction of where Takashi had been, and said, (in Polish, of course) "Dziękuję. <This is, I'm afraid, all I can return for all you did, but maybe it will help...>" She crossed herself, saying, "Wimie Ojca I Syna I Ducha Swietego." She then kneeled down, saying, "Ojcze nasz, którys jest w Niebie, swiec sie Imie Twoje, przyjdz Królestwo Twoje, badz wola Twoja, jako w Niebie, tak i na ziemi, chleba naszego powszedniego daj nam dzisiaj I odpusc nam nasze winy, jako i my odpuszczamy naszym winowajcom, i nie wódz nas na pokuszenie, ale nas zbaw ode zlego." She crossed herself again, and got up, nodding respectfully back at where Takashi had died. "Now what..." Gadek wondered aloud, in Japanese. Her eyes wandered past the bridge to the sun, setting slowly but surely. Every day, I'm learning that I know less and less about the world, Leyna thought. But today, especially... OOC:Gadek's Catholic, actually. Or at least, she was raised that way--she hasn't been to mass in several years, but still is a staunch believer...

Toren said, waving his hand in front of her face for the 100th time. She had been staring and gaping at the bridge forever! She was becoming pale and shakey. "Chieko!" she shouted shaking her out of her chance. She blinked and looked at him.
"What? You... you can't see," Chieko asked in shock. "You can't see..." she geustured to the bridge. "Any of that?" "Uhhh..." Toren's eyes shifted from side to side, and he tugged at one of the blue spikes of hair. "No?" he shifted uneasily. Chieko looked scared, and she didn't scare easy. He had watched her tell off guys three times her size! He was getting nervous. "Maybe you should home... you don't look good. There will be plenty of other pet fasion shows." "You're probably right," Chieko said, keeping her back to the graphic scene she had witnessed. "It was a stupid assignment anyway... I'll go home..." "Of course, I'm right," Toren took her arm and led her back down the street slowly. "When was the last time you ate? Last week?" He looked back at the bridge, and frowned. There was nothing there. They made it to Chieko's penthouse, and she opened the door and walked in. Toren hesitated peeked his head in and cautiously made his way into the apartment. Her place was so creepy. Chieko went into the kitchen to make some coffee, her main source of nutrition besides rice. Toren rolled his eye and his stomach grumbled. "You need to buy food," he muttered bitterly, flopping onto a leather arm chair. "You know food? You eat it." Chieko ignored him, poured herself a cup and sat on the kitchen counter that seperated the kitchen from the living room. |

Wonder how perceptive she is? XD; The newly-styled "girly" hair, the height, the effeminate way of speaking... heck, *I'D* be confused if I met this character, and I made him XD;
"Hey, funny lady," Jidat said with an amazingly serious look on his face. He poked Leyna's elbow to get her attention before continuing, "What'd you say just now?" As was very much his style, Jidat had simply showed up right behind the girl, without notice or warning. Not waiting for his answer, Jidat scurried over to the corpse of Takashi. He put his hand lightly upon the fallen Shinigami's forhead and slid his hand down the face, closing the eyelids. He then stood up and looked at Rekuzan with a frown. "That was pretty mean, Neru-chan," he said to the other captain, suppressed anger audible in his voice. "He at least deserved a proper decision from the Central 46. If you weren't so tall, I'd smack you." Jidat then turned to the side and walked over to where Nanase was standing patiently. He opened his mouth and was about to speak when she voiced his thoughts for him: "So, why were all four of us called out here if Oyas-- I mean Narasumi-san was able to take care of this so easily?" OOC: Bleh... I started writing this last night, continue earlier today, and just now finished it. I totally lost any and every train of thought that I might have ever had >_< |

Besides...those who break the laws face the punishment." He listened to question of the 8th squad lieutenant and thought for a moment before answering. "It was not just the hollows that brought us here." Nezei stated, turning to Leyna. "It was her. Her reiatsu is high for a humans. We have been sent to monitor it and make sure it does not go out of control, drawing in more hollows to this town." He folded his arms across his chest. "Since this towns previous watcher is no longer active, you, girl, will assume his role temporarily. We will watch you to assure you do not do anything...irresponisble with your powers. Clear?" OOC:*senzaikyoku - tower of penitence, where convicted shinigami wait to face their execution |

...and also somewhat for Gadek, LOL Gadek jumped a little when the woman tapped her on her shoulder. "Jesus, you scared me, lady. I, um, was praying for him in Polish. I was Catholic, and, yeah..." She then looked to Nezei. "So... how do I control my 'reiatsu', and, um, what am I supposed to do? You can't just leave me here and expect me to do that stuff when I have no idea how..." OOC:My guess is that this is where the amazing Geta-Boushi and crew come in, to teach Leyna the sh4t? xD;; |

The 6th Squad captain merely looked blankly at him for a while. "What I mean to say is..." Nara continued. "I'll stay here with the girl. I can at least train her so she can stand up to small hollows." Gadek narrowed her eyes at him, "Ya'know i think i did pretty well considering I didn't know what I was doing. >_> . They were not small either." "Captain," Nara hopped over to where he was so he could speak out of hearing range of the girl, "I know that I may not be able to use Kidou, but I can at least teach her how to control rietsu, by the looks of things she can't even control that odd sword of hers...oh...and Captain," Nara said with an oddly grim expression for himself, "I don't think she is the only one with unusual spirit nature in this town...I... ...I think that another human may have seen us." |
