Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Leaping over the agent, he moved down the stairs to catch another agent coming from behind. As he passed Kaze, he stopped to leave a message.
"You just couldn't stay out, could ya?" he asked, shooting past him and knocking down the agent on the stairs. |

"Not when others' lives are at stake," Kaze said, more matter-of-factly than heroically. Kaze was presently wielding a pair of chinese swords, spinning them rapidly to keep the agent at bay. He slowly worked his way closer and closer to launch, moving in constantly similar ways in an attempt to force the agent to grow accustomed to that pattern. Then, when he sensed the right moment, he changed the pattern, slashing horizontally with the two swords, then dropping them and pulling out a pair of Desert Eagles, which he fired into the agent's chest. The agent was so surprised by this that he could only dodge some of it, and was hit by the second bullet, causing him to be distracted for just long enough. Right at that moment, Kaze leapt onto the wall and ran passed the agent, hopping back down on the other side. "Come on, you idiot, lets get you out of here!" He said, picking up the injured Launch. He leapt up the stairs on the other side and ran to the room with the phone, helping Launch to pick up the reciever. OOC: perhaps this RP will pick up speed again now ^^;
PS: This was my 600th post, and on my 1 year anniversary! Hurray for awesomeness! :D |

Shadows barely acknowlegded that and lept to the wall then to the other side of the agents. Sprinting down the hall, he followed Break, Launch, and Kaze to the phone room. "Let's go...don't have a lot of time, Launch!" he said, drawing his desert eagle in case a certain agent came around the door. |

When the phone rang Shadows yelled for Launch to answer it, so he did. Launch was sucked out of the Matrix just as he saw an agent run through the hallway coming his friends direction.
As Launch reached the ship(whats its name?) and regained conciousness he told his operator what had happend. |

As he moved, he threw the tails of his coat to the side, revealing a pair of swords: one curved, at his waist, and one straight, the sheath belted into the lining of his jacket. With his left hand he grabbed the saya of the curved sword, a katana, right at the edge where the hilt began. With his thumb, he thrust it out at high speed, launching it towards his commander. At the same time, he used his right hand to unsheath the straight sword strapped into his jacket. He leapt forward, landing just in front of his commander. From a holster strapped to the right-inner part of his trench-coat he pulled an eight-barrelled revolver and held it forward, while he held the straight sword ready in his right hand.
"I will keep this one at bay, sir," he said to Shadows, pulling back the hammer on his pistol. "You get to the phone. We don't need to lose any more ship captains!" |
| Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Deftly catching the katana, Shadows put away the Desert Eagle and leapt over Kaze's head.
"Sorry, man." he said as slid at the agents feet, spinning as he got close. The agent easily leapt over the offending foot of the ship commander, but was certainly surprised when Shadows continued to spin, regaining his footing and slicing diagonally upwards with the spins momentum. It was hard for the agent to dodge in midair, but it was only sliced across the chest, bleeding as it landed, glaring at Shadows. "I've got to make sure my crew is out first. Now you and Break get out, I'll see you after I'm done here." He spun back to the agent, who was now charging at him. He ducked low and sliced at it's midsection. |
| Digithe Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 884 | Posted: Thu Jan 27, 2005 4:10 pm | Characters: All for this theme; By Digithe: This theme, Any theme Kaze watched as the agent seemed to blur in appearance as it dodged the slash with total ease, pulling out his own Desert Eagle and aiming at Shadows' head. As soon as he saw the agent reach for his gun, Kaze mustered every ounce of speed he had, and seemed to fly towards it, leaping and slamming his shoulder into it. The agent ducked under the attack, just as Kaze predicted, and as Kaze passed over the body, he slashed downwards with his sword. The agent barely managed to dodge this strike, causing a gash in his suit. Kaze performed in a flip to land on his feet, facing the agent. He then quickly ran back at the agent.
"Forgive me, sir," Kaze shouted calmly to Shadows as he ran. "but I am not one of your crew at this time, and as such I must follow my own code to protect all comrades. Now please get your crew out and as soon as I get the signal I'll be out of here." As he spoke these last words, he slashed upwards at the Agent with his sword, only to have his attack dodged. He quickly changed his attack to slash horizontally, forcing the agent to move back, and preventing him from aiming his weapon. |

"What the hell is going on now?" she asked, her fingers flying across her keyboard. "What do you mean?" Shadows asked, motioning for Break to pick up the ringing phone. "There's this weird broken line of code working it's way up the stairs into the building. I've never seen anything like it. Whatever it is, it's shutting down agent programs as they try to stop it. But it might shut down you to if it reaches you, so get the hell out!" "Fine, just notify Ice and Modem to get out! NOW!" Shadows said, hanging up and returning the phone to his coat. He turned back to Break before returning to help Kaze with the last agent. "Don't stay here! Something weird's going on, and you need to get out. Go!" he yelled, spinning the sword as zoomed up next to Kaze. "Can't get out 'til my crew is out, and for the moment, that includes you and Break. So let's try to stop him for a moment and then go, okay?" |

Shadows brushed his hair away from his eyes as he looked to the agent. Finding himself out of bullets, the menace cracked his knuckles and advanced on the two hackers. Shadows glanced back to Break before he made his attack. "GO! Now!" he shouted as swung his sword at an upward diagonal OOC:think of it kinda like battoujutsu w/out the sheath and hoped for the best. OOC:crap, but if someone else posted anymore : P |
