Shadows hung up his phone, still barely staying one step ahead of the agent in front of him. "Damn new guy..." he muttered. "Better not get himself killed." He swung the end of the staff at the agents head. The agent dodged under it and moved his fist toward Shadow's chest. The blow connected, the captain being off balance, and launched Shadows back several feet into the wall. Brick pieces and dust fell all around him. The hole in the wall almost spanned through it to the outside. Shadows fell to the floor, but picked himself up. He leapt back in to keep fighting. OOC:this is the 2100th post!! go me!! |

Launch put his hands to his swords, his left going to the shorter sword and his right going to his longer sword. Launch swung his short sword near the agents neck and the longer sword in a curving upslash starting near his legs and ending by his shoulders. The agent dodged the neck shot but was unable to dodge the cut on his back from his legs to shoulders. "Oh shit" said Launch as the agent turned to face him. Launch immidently went into a defensive positon and raised his swords. Then he remembered the silver capsule in his pocket, a mini-chaff grenade. "Shadows this might be enough time to run!" Yelled Launch as he hurled the chaff grenade to the ground near the agent. OOC:for those who dont know a chaff grenade disrupts an electical signal for a shor period of time
As the grenade exploded at the agents feet he went into a seizure for about two seconds, then went back to normal. All over the hallway was dust stuff so it was impossible to see if Shadows had made it to Launch's side yet. |

Shadows was trying to make a break for the hardline, but the agent stopped him several times, usually with his fists. Wiping some blood from his lip, Shadows heard a small boom in the hall. The agent turned, distracted for a moment. Drawing his knife, Shadows shot for the agent and sliced at his throat. The agent was caught offguard and got a quickly bleeding jugular but managed to hit Shadows one last time. The ship captain flew through the wall and into the staircase beyond. The agent collasped and reverted to the SWAT guy it used to be. Picking himself up, Shadows began to limp up the stairs. |

Launch heard something fall to the floor where Shadows was and hoped it wasnt Shadows falling. With the agent in shock from the grenade and the huge gash Launch swung both swords at the agent the lower one going from leg up and the longer one going from neck down. The spastic agent was unable to dodge any of them and fell to the ground, changing back to swat. As Launch walked over to where Shadows was when he noticed a hole through his shirt where it had flowed in the air. "You missed" Whispered Launch as he walked over the dead body. |

Break ran down the stairs to find Launch and Captain Shadows at the end, nearly tripping over the dead agents. "Well, it looks like you two have been doing a good job of exterminating, haven't you?" she said. The young woman slowly lowered her left hand to the magnum at her waist, pulling it gently out of its holster. "We should still stay alert; who knows when more agents will come after us." Break glanced left and right, confused. "Oi, Captain Shadows... Where's Kaze?" |

Break spun on the heel of her left foot and turned around, dashing down the stairs. |

"I see Kaze!!! He's fighting three agents! We better help him quick!" Said Launch as he ran down the stairs to help kaze. "Damn, I wish I brought more chaff grenades!" Launch tried to distract the agents for as long as he could by throwing knives into their backs. Then when he was on the same level as Kaze and the agents his swords came out, slicing at the agents in an attmept to save Kaze. |

"It's a small stairway, be careful you don't slice him!" he said, snapping his staff together. He took on the agent farthest away from Kaze, though closer to him, because this way he wouldn't be getting in his friends way. |

The swords flew at amazing speed and force at the closest agent, ripping some serious wounds into its flesh. Then done with dodgeing the agent pulled out his Desert Eagle and Launch saw it at the last second, only haveing a little bit of time to prepare. The bullet came out of the gun, but it seemed to be going slower, a lot slower. Launch tried to move out of the way but seemed slowed by something, but the bullet was not going as fast. Another bullet, another, another, then the entire clip was gone and Launch had little room to dodge so he jumped straight up in an attempt to grap the level up one. Launch's hands barely gripped onto the level above and when he pulled himself up he felt a sharp sting of pain in his leg, and a thump witch was either an agent, Kaze, or Shadows. Launch's pants were soaked in blood and he could barely walk. "Oh shit!!" Launch limped to where Break was in an attempt to get out of the way. Once he was on the same level with Break he looked back and saw a trail of blood, so he tore off his shirt and wrapped it around his leg as tight as he could in an atempt to stop the bleeding. "Hey Break I think they will need your help." Launch said to Break as Launch still sat on the floor. |

"Idiot!" he muttered. He spun to dodge the next blow from the agent and shot the staff toward his chest. But the agent was far too quick for it. The staff was wrenched from Shadows' hands and thrown away. "Aw crap..." he said, just barely dodging the fist aimed for his gut. He moved up the stairs a little to yell to Break. "Get Launch out!" he said, putting his gun away for the moment. "He's wounded, so he's gonna leave first." |

"Break I need some help getting to the hardline, it will take forever to get there by myself." said the wounded Launch. As Lauch sat there just looking a Break in a strange way he wondered if something had happened to her, she wasn't responding at all, as if he didnt exiest. "Break! Break can you hear me?!!" yelled Lauch as he wondered if he should go on or try to help his friend. |
