"But that doesn't happen a lot, because Leila really prefers to sit back and watch. Usually she's not as active." She smiled.
"So... how to read and write." Aurelia went to the bookshelves, and got several picture books. She returned, and put them on the table. She got some graph paper out of her bag, and made lines on it to make Kindergarten-style writing paper. She then wrote the entire alphabet (upper and lower case) in neat, large print. Aurelia pointed to each letter in turn, and explained its sound to B-11. She then said to B-11, "Your turn, Blue." She handed her the pencil, and instructed her to trace each letter, and say its sound aloud. OOC:hahah, it's funny to see the spawn of moira being so kind xDD |

Her eyes were wide as she watched her tutor intently as Aurelia neatly wrote the alphabet on the paper in front of her. When she was told to, she took the pencil in her hand, holding it the same way Aurelia did, and deftly traced each letter of the alphabet and saying its name and sound aloud. When she was done she set the pencil down, sat back in her seat and stared at Aurelia. |

He did not recognize the animal-girl, but such strange-looking people were not exactly uncommon in such a place as Xavier's academy, and so thought nothing of it. He reasoned that she was simply a new arrival, though admittedly an especially curious one. He was just about to head downstairs to look for any more familiar faces when he heard something unexpected -- that is, he heard someone speaking Japanese, and it wasn't especially polite-sounding.
"Koroshitainda?" he asked menacingly in a crisp Japanese accent, whirling around to face someone he never would have expected to see. "Aa.. Takahashi-bouzu ka? Omoshiroi! Yatte miro!" OOC: "You want to kill me?" "Ah... little Takahashi, is it? Very interesting! Just try it!" (hopefully) |

And 'Blue', her moniker for B-11. "Let's read a book," Aurelia said, picking up See Spot Run. "I'll read it to you the first time, follow along." She then read the entire picture book to B-11, feeling quite silly. But she knew that sooner or later, she'd begin to read more adult books, and the embarrassment was only temporary. Still... Azazel would laugh at me if he ever found out, she thought. |

She wanted Aurelia to write more words, but the girl picked out the objects she had brought to the table instead. Book...
Her face was quite serious as Aurelia read the simple sentences aloud, and she paid rapt attention to bright colorful pictures. When she was done with the book, the little raccoon girl looked up at her tutor. "Spot is not proportional," B-11 said strightfaced. "It would impossible for him to run with such a big head supported by such little legs." B-11 cautiously opened the book and turned to a page. "And dogs lack the ability to smile. The book does have one redeeming quality though," she flipped through a few more pages. "The colors are entertaining." |

"Mmm, sugoi da ne..." he said, stopping and turning back towards Vladmir. "Teme na koe wa ookii desu ga, omae ga yowai to omoimasu..." He fixed his eyes on Vladmir, and though his face didn't change, his eyes now radiated hatred. OOC:"mmm, amazing..." "You talk big, but I think you're weak." (i think? ) |

"Sometimes things don't make sense but they work anyways... like me! And that bumblebee you were eyeing outside," she added in reference to B-11's puzzlement over Spot. "Now you try to read it, Blue," Aurelia said, handing the book to B-11. She didn't expect her to read that well, she'd help her out if she started to stumble. |

"See Spot run," she began smoothly. "See Spot run fast." She had no trouble going through the entire book, and turning the pages at all the right moments. In a few minutes she reached the last page, and then closed the book. Then she placed See Spot Run back down on the table in front of her and looked up at Aurelia. "Done."
OOC:B-11's memory is uber. She didn't read the book, she can't read, so she just memorized it. xD |

He relaxed his stance, leaning back on his right leg, and putting his right hand in his pants pocket. He made a motion as to wipe something off the tip of his nose with his index finger, then let his hand fall to his side, the fingers moving restlessly.
"Nande sonnani yasashku hanasu?" the violinist asked with a smirk. "Ma, Yakuza daga, amari kibishkunai, yo. Jitsu wa yasashii dayo ne. Kawaii!" Vladimir chuckled again. It really was pretty funny to hear a gangster speaking polite Japanese. OOC: more natural translation (since I don't know it all exactly): "Why are you talking so politely?" "For a Yakuza, you're not very mean. You're actually pretty nice, aren't you? How adorable!" |

"You didn't read all that, you couldn't have. You just remembered what I said and repeated me. Oh well, you're on your way." Just then, the bell rang. "Class time already?" Aurelia said, looking at the wall clock. "No... ten more minutes. But still, I guess I should get going, Blue."
She looked at B-11. "For most people, not being able to read or write would be a setback in class... But you seem to have an above-average memory, and if you pay attention, you should do just fine." OOC:uh. o__o; |

Suddenly there was a loud ringing noise and she jumped in her seat because the bell startled her. However, she observed how everyone seemed to be getting ready to leave the library, and Aurelia appeared to be going somewhere as well... class, and concluded that the sound indicated when people needed to go.

loike... are we going off the movie charas or the comic charas? and which xman would teach each class? o__o; "Bye for now, Blue," Aurelia said, picking up her things. "See you at lunch... I'll be by the willow tree from this morning." "Gotta go... my class's on the other side of the building," she said, dashing out of the classroom. She felt bad to leave innocent B-11 stranded, but her teacher hated it when she was late. And today was especially not a good day to be late, as everyone was presenting their speeches. Which reminded her that... "SHIT! I forgot to put on formal clothes," Aurelia said, picking up the pace. She looked at the clock nervously. Ten minutes wasn't nearly enough to go to her room, change, and get to the classroom in time. She pulled over on the side of the hallway, and pulled out a bundle of chalk. Selecting the sky-blue colored piece from the bundle, she drew a small, complex veve incorporating the symbols for 'fast' and 'wind'. Aurelia then took a single, overripe mango from her bag and placed it on the drawing. "Thank God I never throw anything out," she muttered. If not for her packrat tendencies, she would have been toast. Aurelia put her hand on the fruit, and concentrated. She first asked Legba for permission, and then this Iwa's ruler, and then finally the Iwa itself for help. The Iwa of wind, Rafale, flowed into her, surrounding her in a blue aura. She picked up her bags, and zipped down the hallway, leaving an afterimage. 'Bleh!' Said Rafale. 'You gave me a rotten mango.' "Sorry," said Aurelia, "But it's kind of an emergency. I'd rather insult you, than invoke my teacher's wrath!" |

Once Aurelia left she looked at See Spot Run, but she grew tired of it. Her attention turned to the graphing paper with the letters of the alphabet. She took a clean peace of paper and a pencil, and looked at Aurelia's neat letters. Then she quickly wrote each letter, upper- and lower-case, while muttering all the information. Once she was done the letters were identical to the other girl's. She flipped through another children's book and began to copy the print in it. The letters were out of order and there lots of empty spaces but all the lettes looked the same... except that her letters were gray and the book's letters were black. |

She dropped her bags, and quickly stripped and redressed herself in a black dress with white polkadots, and put on a pair of flats.
'Asking me to run in these shoes, now that's too much," said Rafale, laughing at Aurelia's demands. "Come on," she said, eyeing the clock and picking up her bag. "Five minutes! I promise I'll never do this to you again." 'You said that last time,' Rafale said, but he obliged, as his will was weaker than hers--after all, he was only a lesser Iwa. The only Iwa Aurelia ever summoned that she had to fight for control over was Azazel, and that was because he was very powerful. When she did have to summon him, it was worth the risk. Aurelia dashed out the door, hair and bag straight out behind her. "We have to go to the main hall, then turn left." 'Roger.' Aurelia-Rafale streaked down the hallway to the main entrance. There were still people there. "Shit, what now," Aurelia said. 'We run right through them, of course,' Rafale said mischeviously. They weaved through the people, bowling over some, leaving blue afterimage snaking through the crowd. Aurelia's toes touched the doorframe. "Whew, still have three minutes. Thanks, Rafale." 'No problem, but you owe me,' he said, fading back to the spiritworld. The class looked at her, shaking their heads. "What?" Aurelia said, shrugging. She took her seat, and looked at her speech again. Not to mention she needed some time to calm down between her high-octane blast through the halls, and the terror-inducing speech. OOC:GAR. ;D; |

The few students still scattered around the dormitory turned to stare. Lulu had sprinted out of her room a moment before, dressed in a white blouse and a pair of sleek black slacks, and was now attempting to pull one of her high-heeled slippers onto her feet without slowing down. Needless to say, she didn't get far. "I so had it a minute ago," she muttered, looking around angrily. Where did it go? She stood there for a moment, looking oddly lopsided in her single three-inch heel. It didn't take her long to spot the left shoe; it was lying farther down the hall. She must have dropped it as she ran, she decided. She frowned in mild concentration, and the shoe picked itself up and flew toward her, landing easily in her hand. Lulu slipped it onto her foot and took off again. It had been several minutes since the bell rang, and her class was somewhere on the other side of the building... but she was sure she'd be able to make it. I've got, what, five minutes left? The bell rang again. ...Guess not. Lulu burst into the classroom several minutes later, just as some nauseous-looking kid was about to begin his speech. "Sorry," she said to the teacher, and made her way to an empty seat near some raven-haired girl she'd never met before. "Hey," she whispered, as the boy began to speak in a small, shaky voice, "this doesn't require any serious preparation or anything, right? I mean, we basically just go up there and wing it, I guess?" OOC:There we go. Lulu's grand entrance. I have to say... I kinda like her opening line. XD |
