anyways. he's here 'cause he's awesome, and he's going to have a cute crush on Layla <3 Name: Eliot Savage... most people call him by his last name. Sex: Male Current Job: Copilot of the Angel Mark II/Mechanic/Bounty Hunter/Ship's Communal Bitch (meaning: Has the laundry piled up? Get Savage to do it. Engine broken? Savage's job. Trash need to be dumped? SAVAGE!! WHERE THE F*** ARE YOU? ...You get the idea xD) Former Job: Trucker Stats: Build- about average, but fairly muscular (not as built as Rangoon/Kamil, though). Height- 5'9" Eyes- brown. Hair- short, light brown, with no bangs. He has a Widow's peak. His hair is extremely spiky, and tends to be uncontrollably wild. Age- 23. Wearing: x A brown leather pilot's jacket x Army green T-shirt x khakhi pants x Brown combat boots x Aviator-style sunglasses (either normally, or propped up like a hairband) x Black fingerless gloves x Wallet chain Miscellaneous Items: He nearly always has one of these in his mouth: a carrot, a cigarrette, or a lollipop. He eats carrots all the time, because he thinks it helps his night vision. He smokes the occasional cigarrette to look tortured and cool (and succeeds >__>). If neither of these are available, he will suck on a lollipop, or the closest item to it (pencils, pens, the shifter...). Personality: Eliot is very eccentric, and tends to be a loner. It's not that he doesn't like people, it's that he does, and he doesn't want to mess up while with them and look like a loser. He's not very good with social situations, obviously. However, once he gets past the initial shyness, he is quite macho and seems to exude self-confidence and contentment. When he is around people he knows and loves, and feels he can freely do anything around, he is truly happy. He is able to self-motivate quite well, due to his strong work ethic. This is because he has had to work hard for everything he has recieved from a very early age. As a result of this, when no one else volunteers or is qualified, he will lead. This also follows (unfortunately for him) when no one wants to clean, paint, do the laundry, or cook >__> He is not a grammar Nazi per se, but he cringes when he hears bad accents or poor grammar. The reason for this is that he pretty much taught himself by reading books, so he thinks that if he could do it all on his own, everyone else should be able to as well. If not, they’re just plain lazy. He has had an insatiable hunger for books for a long while, and when relaxing, is never far from one. Talents: Eliot is an extremely good pilot and mechanic. He can fight pretty well, and shoot a gun accurately (whether on land or on a ship), but he stays behind half the time, because he has to keep the ship running--something that requires nearly constant vigilance. He can sing well, but not nearly as well as Layla (he doesn't have the range or strength of voice for more challenging material, but for normal songs, he sound fine). He has an okay voice--meaning that he sounds fine when singing in a normal range, but can't go very high or low without sounding retarded... He can cook pretty well, but his strengths are in cooking American, Italian, and Mexican-style food... he doesn't know how to do anything else without a cookbook. History: Not much to say, really. He grew up on Earth, with his mother, father, and two brothers. His father owned a space-ship repairs shop, so he grew up helping his dad run the business, and later, helped him by working on the vehicles himself. He always dreamed of traveling around on his own. Although un-glamorous, the opportunity came to him in the form of an old Truck. He fixed it up, and left Earth, never to return. He ran a somewhat successful business by ferrying people from planet to planet. "Somewhat successful" meaning that he only had to boil his boots and eat them two times. Recently, he had a particularly crazy customer on board who tried to shoot him while they were landing... Needless to say, he totaled his Truck. Luckily, he escaped unscathed, as did the crazy who made him crash. The man ran away before Eliot could stop him and make him pay for the damage. Means of income destroyed, Eliot decided to get a new job--something considerably more exciting than his last job had been (well, up until the end). He decided to become a bounty hunter. |

Jeez, Dan's and my charas are gonna cat (er, I mean MAN) fight over Layla xD Anyways, they both like to chew on stuff, LOL. But your character's laziness will get on poor Eliot's nerves >__> He's had to work hard all his life and doesn't respect people that just laze about xD Changed his job to fit the ship. Hopefully that still works. xD Your character will love the job he does... LOL, communal bitch. Think of him like Boots, or like Colin is in Oceanography xD The people on the ship are gonna fight so often... This is gonna be fun :K |
| Digithe Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 884 | Posted: Tue Mar 20, 2007 9:36 pm Haha, I foresee many problems between Riley and Savage XD; I don't think he'll get between Savage and Layla -- he's too lazy for commitment I think, and anyway he probably wouldn't figure out that Savage's crushing on Layla unless told.
Rest assured, Riley flirts with all pretty girls. Not to the extent that my Lightwing char will, but still ^^; And as for his job, I like it XD Riley probably doesn't care. In fact, I know he doesn't. But deep down, he'll appreciate all the work that he doesn't have to do XD |
