Moira Forsythe Position: 4th Squad Vice-Captain Age: Appears about 25-26, but is really 551. Gender: Female Appearance: If you want to compare her to anyone in real life, she looks like Amy Lee from the band Evanescence. She has pale skin (she prefers "milky white"), and large green eyes that she often lines with black eyeliner and mascara. She has full lips, and wears red lipstick most of the time. Her fingernails are a little bit longer than normal, and are most often painted black. Moira has long, silky black hair that falls to just above the small of her back, and she parts her hair on the left. She wears the usual shinigami outfit. However, the collar tends to slip down low due to her endowment (breast size = D), causing her to have to adjust it before she has a "wardrobe malfunction". Her only unusual accessories are a gold-colored eyebrow stud on her left eyebrow, and a pair of gold, spiral dangle earrings. Personality: Moira is intensely curious, and likes to learn new things about people and the world around her. She is defensive when her authority or knowledge is questioned (or if she in general is not taken seriously), often to the point of physical or verbal aggression. Also, in contrast to her outer beauty, she is quite abrasive and coarse. Moira is an eternal pessimist, or realist, depending on how you look at it. She tends to push away people that would know her better or get close to her. She has a famously dry wit, and is often sarcastic. However, she can be quite silly and/or happy when the mood strikes her. It just doesn't seem to happen all that often anymore... Specialties: Damn good doctor, and chef as well. A good leader under her captain, and looks out for what's best for her squad. She can speak English (both Middle and Modern), Scottish Gaelic, and Japanese fluently (her accent only slips when she's drunk or tired). Weaknesses: Although considerably mentally and somewhat less physically strong, she is emotionally weak, and has a really hard time when people are hurt because of her. She is also emotionally weak in the fact that she needs the very people she pushes away. History: (sorry that it's a bit long and boring... feel free to skip it...) Moira was born in 1431 in Scotland, after the Black Plague razed the land, and after the Scottish won their war for independence from England. She was raised in a relatively good time, for although there were diplomatic mishaps with England, the regular people had it pretty good. There was an increase in opportunities for many boys, including several universities opening up. However, Moira grew up washing the linens, and cooking the meals , and working the fields, and hoping for something more. Every day, she and her mother would do these tasks, and outside their window, they could see an English encampment sitting on a wooded hill. It scared Moira's mother, who remembered the War, and she told Moira never to go near. But Moira, who was intensely curious, disregarded her warnings in her mind, and dreamed of what could be hidden there. One day, when she was sixteen, she decided to go look. The older brother she told also warned her against it, but she payed no attention, yet again. She ran away before he could stop her. When she arrived, she intended just to peek, but fell over the edge of the tent and nearly into someone's campfire. The men there gave her lecherous looks and said mean and nasty things that she couldn't understand. Scared senseless, she backed into the fence. They were closing in all around her, when-- A fist went flying into the lead lecher's head, knocking him down. The others ran away with fear, but their look of deference told Moira that this man was their leader. He smiled warmly at her and offered her a hand up, which she took. She just wished that she could thank him... She shrugged, and pointed to her mouth and laughed bashfully. Can't speak English... The man smiled and shrugged. That's okay with me. --- After returning Moira to her home, the man began to come more and more often. He was entranced by her beauty, and wanted to marry her. Her father said yes, and they were betrothed. They had a child, a boy, and they both loved each other earnestly. Over the years, the man taught Moira to speak English. Unfortunately, it was not meant to last. Moira died of internal bleeding while giving birth to their second child, a girl. Although devastated, the man moved on and served his country and raised his children the best he could. The three of them lived good, long lives. None of them would ever see each other or Moira again after they died... --- Moira was brought to a rather nice district when she died. Here she had time to do all the things she had never been able to do in the Real World, like sleep, and eat food without having to worry about dying. She learned to speak, read and write Japanese from her neighbor, a nice, older woman. Through reading books that the older woman kept in her house, and entirely by accident, Moira learned about Seireitei and the Academy. "Is this true?" She asked the woman. "Yes, dear," The old woman pointed. "That's where it is. That's where the Gotei 13 are." "Wo~w." She read the passage again and again. She thought, I didn't get a proper education on Earth, so this looks like my chance! Moira promptly enrolled herself in the Academy, and passed with flying colors. While she was there, she learned that she was talented (and far more interested than she would have thought) in medicine. And so, she was extremely happy when she was assigned to 4th squad, even if it did have a bad reputation... She easily worked her way up the ranks due to her newfound expertise, and the fact that she had more combat skills than half of the squad. Now, she is the Vice-Captain of her squad, and is quite happy about that. (Note: she has now been the 4th squad Vice-Captain for some time... A couple hundred years. Inventory: Zanpakutou, and medicines, string, a scalpel or two, needles, antidotes, and bandages in a small medicine bad. Zanpakutou: Name: Kane (the sword) and Angus (the sheath) Sealed Form: [img:2ff8323b00]http://www.swordcane.com/markpics/mk4_small.jpg[/img:2ff8323b00] Zanpakuto Spirit: Twin black cobras that can change size at will. Kane, is cruel and delights in killing. He is the snake that is in the sword. Angus, is just and true, Kane's antithesis. He is the scabbard of the sword. Both of them can give Moira helpful medical knowledge if they so feel like it (it just depends on what her aim is). They do not get along very well, and are often arguing. Shikai: "Kane, Angus, rise proudly to my call!" Description: In shikai, the cane turns into a sword that looks like this: [img:2ff8323b00]http://www.swordsandarmor.com/images/SD901055-BK_Celtic_Sword.JPG[/img:2ff8323b00] Shikai Abilities: In shikai, the sword has two attacks using Kane- 1. Deadly Poison Flow: the sword secretes a poison through the channel in the middle. When covered, the blade turns a slight greenish hue. Although it won't kill you, the effects are daunting: confusion, hallucinations, and intense, nearly unbearable pain, all of which take a long, long time to go away without the antidote. 2. Nerve Confusion: Utilizing a weak electric shock, if Moira uses this technique at the time she hits or touches her opponent with her sword, she can confuse their nerves. When it affects them, they have a hard time moving because moving their toe nods their head, and so on. Angus's ability- 3. Ambrosia: When Kane is out of the scabbard (Angus) and Moira tells him to, he secretes a sticky, sweet, light yellow liquid that has dual properties: it is the antidote to Kane's poison, and it has strong restorative properties. Meaning, if you drink it, you will feel more rested, and it can heal minor wounds quite fast. However, it takes much longer and much more amounts to heal anything serious. Bankai: Moira magically gets a pretty, green, halter-necked dress that ends in many pleats. Her sword changes back to a (seemingly) simple black staff. Seemingly, because if you look closely, you can see that there are intricate carvings of the Tree of Life, other flora, and two snakes... Bankai Abilities: Kane and Angus are summoned to life, and wind around Moira's staff. They can unwind themselves and attack at will. Their only special ability at this point is to become really huge (like 2 or 3 stories tall maximum). In this form, the same abilities are stronger and split up differently: 1. Moira's staff retains the ability to use the Nerve Confusion technique. 2. Kane can attack using his body, or bite using his fangs. He can also spit that same poison (same effects as Deadly Poison Flow poison) at the enemy. However, it does not have an effect on plain skin; it must go into an open wound or orifice to affect a person. 3. Angus can also attack using his body or fangs, but cannot use poison. His saliva in this form has the same properties as Ambrosia, except (slightly) stronger and more fast-acting. So, if Moira gets hurt, he can lick her wounds and make her better :3 |

This is not Seireitei, you can have unlimited (well, within reason) shikai and bankai abilities, and feel free to do stat augments, as we don't have a system for that. So, if there's anything you'd like to tweak first, feel free. |

He's freaking rediculous; his girlfriend's zanpaku can 1. come when called (apparate) 2. float magically 3. manipulate her blood, and "burst other people's blood out of their vessels" And he gave me shit about Moira's bankai being big snakes. Yeah. >__> F***tard. Anyways. *cough* Thank you for not having a stick up your ass. *hug* Edit: I added some techniques, kind of >__> if you look at the bankai, you'll see what I mean. |

Uhh... the only other notes would be that she likes drinking and a bunch of other things people would consider manyl, and yet pretty much always wears dresses and stuff. The only thing I changed, really, is that she is now the Vice-Captain. |
