Age: 16 Occupation: 6th year student at Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw Wand: Thirteen inches, made of ebony and dragon heartstring. Swishy and delicate in appearance, but is a very powerful wand. Excellent for charms and defensive maneuvers. Description: Adults””parents, teachers, the Minister of Magic… she’s met a lot of big important people””would describe Regina Dundee as a thoughtful girl, bright and witty, full of confidence and poise. Very mature for her age. Plenty of potential; may even have a future in the Ministry if she continues on the way she’s going. Which, knowing her, she will. Those of her peers who actually know her well””and there are far more who think they do than there are who actually do””would be entirely confused by this explanation of their friend’s character. Their description would be more along the lines of, Who, Gina? Yeah, Gina’s a goof. Bloody brilliant, she is, but a total goof. Prank ”˜er own mum if you let her. Never get caught, either. Not a chance. What a goof. Both versions are surprisingly accurate. Raised by a motivated muggle-born mother and a laid-back Ministry official father, she was brought up with two philosophies in life: One, that a person can do absolutely anything that they set their minds to. And, two, that it’s only wrong if you get caught. Gina’s mind is firmly set on a future (she likes money), and that future always comes first. She’s a good student, with more than her share of ambition and brains. She thinks fast on her feet, and her best work is done under pressure. Teachers and other adults tend to like her; she never speaks out of turn in class, but her obstinate streak will lead her to argue any point, politely but wittily, for hours on end. She’s a hard worker and kind to those around her (the only creatures she openly despises are dogs). She can evaluate situations quickly and more accurately than most of her peers. She’s also an accomplished ballerina, and makes a good Chaser in a game of Quidditch. So when the Divination teacher’s crystal ball mysteriously disappears, sending the poor woman into a crazed, omen-spotting frenzy, nobody suspects Gina. When the subject of the day’s Care of Magical Creatures lesson is transfigured into a shoe moments before class begins, the blame falls to anyone but star-student Miss Dundee””even if she was the only one around at the time. If she has to lie to get out of trouble, she can do so near-flawlessly””she was, after all, raised by a politician””but she rarely has to. Aside from her behavior, this may have something to do with the fact that she just doesn’t look like a prankster. She’s tall and willowy, with reddish-brown hair and blue eyes verging on violet. Her hands are long-fingered and expressive, and although she’s never been called drop-dead gorgeous, she’s pretty enough, and full of a youthful energy that draws the eye. People are willing to overlook her tendencies toward impatience and arrogance””most who know her would agree that she’s earned the right to be a little bigheaded. History: Gina’s father is a Ministry official in Australia, so her childhood was privileged and happy. She attended a wizarding school in Sydney””thus, the Auzzie accent””and was well-liked and well-known, among both her peers and her elders. She’s had no bad experiences that she can recall (her mother says she was bitten by a very large dog when she was five, which would explain the scar on one forearm that she has to cover with makeup for every ballet recital. It would also explain why she hates dogs. She doesn’t remember it at all.) Earlier this year, she found out that her father had been promoted. This was a good thing. Unfortunately, this also meant that they would have to move to England. (This was a very bad thing.) Gina is scheduled to begin classes at Hogwarts as soon as the roleplay allows. |

Yes, the sandwich is extremely important. Got to establish character relationships, y'know. With a room full of pranksters... well, who knows what could happen? XD |
