After a few moments of observing the room with her spiral eyes, she noticed that there were no other beds present. Pivoting on her right heel, she turned to face him. "You have.. a seperate room from everyone else?", she asked, glancing about the room from the paintings on the wall to the fireplace. Taking slow steps, she shuffled over to a beautiful tapestry that hung on the wall. She looked at it and reached out and touched it; it was amazingly soft, and looked brand new.
"This must be nice.. having your own room.." |

Nodding slightly to her words. "Yeah..." He spoke out in a low tone, "It does kind of keep me away from others..." He then walked over beside her as she began to feel amongst the tapestry. He gave off a warm smile as he looked at her figure with his eye, seeming to continue where he last left off in his words, "But it was Hell to get Dumbledore to consider it." He turned back to something creating a thud behind him. It was Elf, he had knocked over one of the cases beside the bed when he jumped into the bed after his dinner. He let out a sigh, then turned over to Elise and asked of her, out of plain curiousity. "Um, did I offend you or anything with that kiss?" He nervously, almost as if it were a habit, began to scratch his head once again, hoping not to get a bad answer from the beautiful girl. |

Ok.... that was wierd... she thought when Elise bolted again. Does this girl ever stay put? I hope I didn't offend her... Well... if she doesn't come back by... Etta checked her watch. 11:00, I'll go look for her. She was about to go mess around in the common room when she remembered a very important detail. What if she gets lost?! It's after hours too!! What if a teacher or Filch catches her out of bed? Or worse, what if Peeves catches her out of bed?
Etta pinned her hair back up into a messy bun and exited the Ravenclaw tower in a hurry. She used a few secret passageways she had found in the past to get to the owlery unnoticed. The smell of the owlery, while vulgar to some, was comforting to Etta. She walked around until she found Terrestial eating a mouse. "Can you eat that later?" she asked. Her answer was a glare that clearly said, "Did I interrupt you when you were eating? I don't think so. Leave me alone." "Grumpy old bag of feathers," she grumbled, and waited for the barn owl to finish. Meanwhile, Etta fished a quill out of her robes again, and wrote her note. Elise, I apologize for prying. That was none of my affair. However, you really can't skip through the halls at night! If you get caught, you'll be in a world of hurt. Be careful, and don't get lost. Send a note if you do, and I'll find you. Forever, Etta Etta skimmed over it, folded it and smiled in satisfaction. She looked at her owl, and saw that he had finished his meal. She held out her note, and the barn owl swooped down and snatched it from her hand before he glided out the window and into the night. Etta rested her elbows on the window sil, and looked out over the grounds. The view of the Quidditch pitch was breathtaking, and she quivered with excitement. Suddenly, she shuddered violently, and goosebumps covered her body. She turned around to see if someone or something was there, but there was no one. She stood all alone in the owlery, except for the owls. The awful feeling left as quickly as it had come, but it took Etta several minutes to get rid of the goosebumps. ~~ Terrestial flew around the castle until he spotted the golden-haired girl with the mangy flea bag. She was with some dark-haired kid with one eye, and he took note that there were now two scruffy felines. He landed on the ledge of the window, and tapped his beak to gain attention. |

His choice of reading material was not too appealing to many, except, perhaps, to the latest Defense against the Dark arts teacher. Who was the new teacher? Did anyone mention him? If anyone had, Anthony mus tnot have been listening. He shrugged. What else was new?
But that was not wy he was up at - Anthony checked his watch - 11:45. Something had shattered his reality, like pure fear and aprehension had been poured into his mind. But what was it? Anthony hastily flipped through the pages of a rare book on Magical Beasts; another gift from his parents. What could promote fear within one's soul? Dementors would be his first guess, but the feeling he had suffered was not that of despair, and it had not been accompanied with the freezing aura of the Dementor creature. Anthony madly flipped more pages. Damnit to hell! What was it!? |

Dizzy had been sleeping peacefully in his bed. He had been dead tired when they got into the dormitories from the feast, and had gone straight to bed. He had been sleeping, anyway, until a dark black paw smacked him across the nose. His eyes opened to see...a giant cat! Dizzy blinked a few times, and then realized that the cat was not a giant, but was merely three inches from his face. It mowed softly. "Charon!" Dizzy said, sitting up and stroking his fuzzy black companion. "How was your trip to the vet?" As an answer, Charon hissed, and his ears lay flat on his head. "Okay, okay..." Dizzy said, scratching his cat behind the ears. He glanced at the clock. 11:40. "Come on Charon, back to bed." he said softly. OOC:i'm not quite finished with this post, but i'm going to leave it for now because i'm unsure if you wanted to keep the creepy thing to yourselfs or if anyone could feel it's presence. So, as not to be a party crasher, i'll leave this here for now. |

Before Elise could answer his question, Victor turned to the sound at the window. Elf's head propped up from his slumber, glancing up to see the owl at the window. The feline remained laying as he had seen that the feathery creature meant no harm. Victor walked over to the bed, and leaned acrossed it to open the window. He spoke out in a whisper, "Why, hello there little fellow..." He held out his hand, and the owl took a step onto the side of his hand. He lifted the medium-sized bird up from the window sill, noticing the note attached to it's talon. With his other hand, he slowly came up and took the note. He folded it open carefully with his free hand, and saw that it was addressed to Elise. As soon as he spotted it was for her, he ceased reading further; knowing whatever was written upon it was none of his business, and it would be rude for him to incringe on her privacy. He turned and held out the paper to Elise, speaking out in a whisper, hoping not to scare off the owl, or startle it with his voice. "It's for you..." |

It had been from Etta, warning her of roaming the halls at night. With a nod Elise finished it and waved her hand towards the owl, as if to say 'You can go now..'. She folded the note and slipped it into the robes of her pocket, and followed suit by placing her hands in them as well. Remembering his question, Elise turned to face him and shook her hands slightly, shaking her head as well.
"N..no... it's ok. Don't worry about it.." she said quietly. "It was kinda.. flattering... I guess..." she mumbled, scratching her nose. "So.. is that all you wanted to ask...?" she inquired, feeling slightly nervous in an older student's room alone. |

Victor's eye followed the bird's figure as he flew out the window. Elf's head turned to keep direct eye-contact with the winged animal as well.
Victor then walked over and leaned across the bed once more, bringing his hands to the hatches of the window and closing it once more. After doing so, he turned and sat amongst the bed's mattress. He brought out a hand to his partner, and scratched behind his ear lightly. Hearing the answer to his question come from Elise's sweet vocals relieved him. Though, he was still somewhat nervous as to her question. Yes, indeed there was more, but he didn't know if he should say or not. His cheeks became reddened again as he looked to the floor. "Um, well..." His voice was stammering again, his thoughts weren't helping, so was his heart, jumping about in his chest like a toad on high. His free hand's fingers began to rattle on the cushion of the bed as he tried to find the answer to her question; which was more of a question to her question. "I...I want to know... if...." Victor stuttered, soon stopping and glancing down the hall that led to his door. He felt a cold shiver come over him. His eye narrowed as he studied the entrance, feeling somewhat troubled. He shrugged it off, then glanced back up to Elise, feeling that whatever the feeling was, was probably just him being nervous. After all, he had never really 'opened' up to another person as he was doing so. "If..." He continued, he let out a sigh, and shook his head, he then blurted out the words after being frustrated with the way his words were being, "If you'll be more than my..." He then quieted down a bit, feeling he was being a little loud, and probably scaring Elise. "More than my friend...?" He said in a whisper. He then turned away, bringing up a hand to scratch the back of his head as he gave off a crooked grin in embarassment. 'Great, make her feel you're a freak... Good one!' He scolded himself mentally after his actions were finished. |

Her cerulean eyes, relfecting her confusion and surprise, slowly made their way to gaze over at Victor, who seemed equally embarassed. Elise shuffled towards the door of the room, tripping over his suitcase along the way. Quickly picking herself up, she turned the knob on the door, lowering her face to look at the floor, shielding her red face. "I... I don't know... I ... We ..." she mumbled under her breath, her hand fumbling with the knob. "I've... I've gotta go!" she blurted out, turning the knob and running out the door, heading back for the Ravenclaw common room. |

Victor shouted, standing from his bed and beckoning out to her. He reached out to grab hold of her, but failed in his effort as he stumbled over the suitcase Elise fell over. As her figure vanished, and her cat following, he lowered his hand to let it rest down at his side. He lowered his head to stare at the floor beneath him, quenching his hands into fists as a low rage began to build up within him once again.
'I'm not going to lose anything else...' He thought to himself. He had already lost his eye and family, he wasn't going to let anything else slip from him. He darted out the door after her. Soon seeing her in the midst of the hallway. He ran up beside her, quietly though not to disturb anyone who might be within the area. "Elise!" He said in a loud-whisper., running up beside her and in front of her, walking backwards from her direction as he began to spit up apologies. "I'm sorry, I didn't mea.... I.... err.... I'm... sorry, I..." |

"It's.. ok..." she whispered, looking down, her face red from embarassment. "It's just... just that..." she whispered, her hand clasping the locket on her breast. Elise had trailed off at the last few words, seeming as if she weren't going to respond anytime soon.
"I'm ... flattered, really.... I'm just..." she began once more, but didn't finish. |

He listened to the words of Elise as she stuttered them with trouble. Victor brought up the side of his finger to bring her face up. He looked deeply into her sapphire eyes with his emerald optic. His lips quivered slightly, as he spoke out calmly, trying to soothe her nervousness. He saw that all the stuttering was getting no where, and decided that being more upfront and strong would be a better way of communicating.
"It's just what, Elise...?" He let his finger slid from her chin to graze her cheek with the backside of his hand and brim of his knuckles. Awaiting her answer with patience. |

I WON'T be hurt again!" she shouted, breaking away from him and running back towards her dormitory, doing her best the stem the flow of tears. |

As she threw the locket to the floor, it came open before him on the ground. He stood for a moment though, gazing at it as Elise ran off. He didn't want to pursue her anymore, she seemed upset enough. He bent down and took the locket into one of his hands, studying the pictures of it within with his eye. Of course, there was a picture of Elise... She was beautiful, her smile, her hair, her eyes. On the other panel of the locket, there was a picture of a man about Victor's age. He had short blonde hair, and sharp green eyes.
Victor imagined this to be of some sort of past relationship Elise endured, thus her words she screamed. Victor now knew that this boy was trouble, and made a mental note that if he were ever to see this man, he would inquire about his doings. But that wasn't important anymore. He leaned against the wall, and closed the locket in his hands, then placed it in his pocket. He looked to the floor as a sorrowful expression came over his facial features. He then let out a sigh, and a whisper followed that echoed lightly in the crevice he was in... "Elise..." |

She was on her way back to the common room where she could wait until her business appointment. She'd have to walk down the hall to get to the common room, but it wasn't that long of a walk. It seemed a lot darker than usual in the crevice, and when she looked up she saw that she wasn't alone. Her body tensed until she saw that it was a student and not a teacher.
"Good evening," she whisped softly as she stood up and brushed herself off. "A bit late to be out, don't you think?" |
