Terrestial was not happy at all. "Excuse me Mr. Japanese Man." She shoved past him into the hallway and she stopped. "Artemis!! Look what you've done!! You-" She stopped. "Artemis??" She turned and looked at him dumbfounded. "W-What are you doing here?? Didn't you graduate?" |

He did not know what to do. He shook his head as he noticed she was gone from his sight, he quickly whispered to the door, "Alohomora." The door's seam then emitted a golden spark. He brought up his free hand and pushed open the cabin door and walked out, turning to see the girl walking away.
"Hey!" He shouted, his deep voice embarked off his vocals and into the hall of the train, but softly enough to not be of a disturbance. He then asked quietly of the girl as he had caught her attention, but dumbfoundedly and bashful in his words, "Umm... Would you, er... Like to... join... me?" He then shakingly and somewhat confused in his own actions gestured to the room inside the door with his free hand. Elf gave a curious look to the cat the girl held. Obviously it was that of a cat's instinct, curiousity of the cat. It began to purr lightly again in the grip of his master, and winced it's eyes together in comfort. |

Then, Elise recognized him. He offered her a grin and a wink, responding quickly without missing a beat.
"Aru..temisu?" he responded, slowly sounding out the name in Japanese pronunciation. "I am sorry, I do not understand, but I apologize if I frightened her!" He turned to Dizzy. The amount of people who didn't recognize him was shrinking rapidly. Alas, he knew there was still a plethora of vici-- innocent people who had either not known him well, seen much of him, or met him at all. "My old headmaster? Well, you see, we went to a school in China, so it was not easy. I do not speak a Chinese language, but I can only understand some. He does not speak Japanese, so it was difficult to understand!" He laughed, as though this were slightly humorous. "How is a headmaster here?" Artemis inquired. "Is he hard to understand?" |

"So you guys are all in Ravenclaw, huh?" All of them appeared to have that particular house crest embroidered into their robes. She pulled out some clay and began to pound it against the window to make it easy to mold. With great care she began to shape it into a little body. |

Her heart skipped a beat when the boy invited her to join him. "I... ah... well..." she stammered. She'd never been invited to anything but a fight by boys before. Elise gulped, and nodded, holding up a hand with only her index finger up, asking for a moment to retrieve her baggage. She trotted back to the compartment where it seemed to be getting crowded. There was still James and Etta, and now a young girl had joined the crew, probably after the Japanese man. She squeezed in and looked to her two fellow house members. "Ah.. Well... It seems to be getting crowded... I found another... compartment, so I can leave. It's no problem.." she said quietly, retrieving her bags. As she scooted past the two newcomers, Elise looked over to James and Etta. "I'll see you two at the opening banquet... I guess." she said, smiling slightly before she trotted down the hallway once more.
When she'd arrived at his door, she knocked slightly, Zwolf purring contently on her shoulder. |

He walked back into his room, leaving the door open for the girl's return, he leaned down and whispered into Elf's ear, "You did that on purpose didn't you?" Giving him a small scratch behind his ear, his smile still content about being on his face. "Thanks..." He then whispered to his companion, setting him down amongst the soft chair of the the compartment.
Hearing a knock behind him, he turned quickly and saw that the girl stood there, he gave a slight jump as she entered the cabin. He immediately took her baggage from her hands, seeming rude about his actions, but his intentions were not of so. He was just nervous, he didn't know how to handle this. His heart was skipping beats, left and right, floundering about in his chest. He quickly and carefully put the baggage in the free cargo bay of the compartment, then held out his arm once again for the girl to sit in the chair. "Um..." He stammered, his voice cracking slightly as he spoke, "Have a seat... please..." He remained standing, awaiting for the girl to sit first. Trying to be as gentleman as he could be at the moment. |

After all, Dumbledore only called you up there, what, 80 times?" He was going to vanish the sunglasses when he remembered Artemis' famous illusions and fully expected one. Instead, he let go of his wand and just looked at Artemis, seeing what he would do. |

He brought his hand to his heart, as though Dizzy had shot an arrow right into his heart.
"Excuse me!" he said, the accent still strong. "I beg a pardon! I had not once been sent to a headmaster's office! And why is everyone calling me a "aru te misu"? I am not understanding! Please, maybe another car is more hospitable..." |

At his offer, she took a seat, placing Zwolf down beside her. She patted his head and watched the boy sit down next to her. The girl looked him over, lingering on his eyepatch. She pondered the ways he could've lost it, but thought it best not to ask; it would probably be rude. She instead sought to inquire some general information about him. Readying herself to surpress her accent, she cleared her throat.
"So.." she began, realizing she was failing miserably at adapting to British speech, "...what's your name?" She glanced out the window, finally glad to see that the crowd was beginning to disperse and the station announcements were warning of the train's nigh departure. "I'm Elise Vichtoffen. As you could probably tell... I'm definately not English..." she informed him, quietly. "Hopefully my accent doesn't bother you; it seems to simply astound some people." Elise remained quiet for a few minutes. "Oh, and if you wanted to know.. I'm in Ravenclaw. I'm a transfer student here... I was homeschooled for my first five years of Witchcraft... I was sorted over the holiday and now I'm here..." she finished, returning her gaze to him. |

She shook it out, and then pined it back into a messy bun with her wand. That's just what she did when she was agitated, and Artemis was defintely getting on her nerves. What is he doing here?
"Ok, I'll see you later then, Elise," she said happily, as soon as Elise disappeared, she turned to Artemis angrily. "Fine," she said irratatedly, as she pushed past him and flopped onto the now empty seat across from James. "Go ahead, and be your fakey Japanesey person. You still haven't told us why you're going to Hogwarts, Mr, Kadushito." |

"You'll be recognized in every other cabin, too." he said, putting his hands behind his head. "You're just lucky the Slytherin group didn't find you first. They're still angry about the bewitched food attacks, and they travel in herds." He grinned and winked at Artemis. "Even five or six would be too many for the great Artemis Windaker Burton to handle, I think." |

The wand's tip emitted a squeal that lasted a short second, but created a barrier that locked the compartment's doors once again. he then sheathed his wand and turned about once again, facing the girl. Speaking somewhat nervously again,
"Sorry, I am not one to take liking to strangers... Err.... yeah..." He mumbled quietly to her, then taking the seat next to her. He couldn't really look at her, he was too nervous. He thought his heart would explode within his chest if he took another look at her. Replying to answer her curiousities, he spoke out again, his voice seeming somewhat more relaxed as he got to know a slight fraction of herself. "You have a beautiful name..." He then cleared his throat, and spoke out dominantly, "My name is Victor Belmont, I'm with Gryfindor, this is my last year here..." He then ran his right hand through his hair, giving off a glimpse of his eyepatch to her as he did so before his hair fell back over it. "You shouldn't be ashamed of your heritage..." He continued to answer her questions. After all, why would you be afraid of who you were? That would be illogical, especially for a wizard. He then continued after letting out a soft sigh, "Homschooling I hear is better, but then again, I couldn't really have it beca..." He stopped before he could say anymore, clearing his throat again as he escaped into a silence. He looked away from the girl over to his partner. "Come here you, come meet your new friend..." He whispered, picking up Elf from his space and placing him between himself and Elise. The cat stared and nodded it's head slightly to one side as it looked upon Elise's companion, Zwolf. It then winced it's eyes again, and purred. "Heh.." Victor let out, then continued, "Elf seems to like Zwolf..." Trying to avoid conversation about his parents that he nearly let out earlier. |

His eyes looked close to tears as he looked helplessly to the girl in the corner, but he then turned on his heel to leave.
"Arutemisu! Arutemisu!" he said a few tones short of a shout. "I am told this school is friendly, and I am treated on arriving to a train with accusation and insult! Good day, my friends!" With that, he turned on his heel and left down the hallway, supposedly looking for another place to stay. A few short moments after he left sight, a small rock dropped onto James' head from out of nowhere. Attached to it was a piece of paper, which read simply "Bad luck." A similar rock/note fell upon Etta's head, which read "Thanks" followed by a frowny face. That went well... Artemis thought to himself. Oh well, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.... A grin crossed his face as he thought, mentally inventorying his... stash. Still, he had to feel somewhat sorry for the girl who hadn't recognized him. Only a little though. OOC: oooh, what is he hiding?!!!!11one O_o; |
| Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | James grinned after the "stormy" exit; he knew it was just an act. He waved his wand at him as Artemis stormed off, and muttered something incoherent. He turned to talk to Etta when all of a sudden...
"Ow..." he said, reaching up and pulling a rock off his head. It had a note scribbled to it that said "Bad Luck." Why that...James had known it. The king was back. But if the King wasn't careful, he'd be in trouble. For as the kind was leaving, he'd conjured a dungbomb into his robe pocket. James grinned. "Catch that one, Artemis," he said softly. |

It had to be Dizzy or Ette. Sure enough, it was a dungbomb. Reacting quickly, a skill he'd not only developed as a prankster, but honed as a Defense Against the Dark Arts expert, he whipped out his trust wand and vanished the foul thing. With a smile, he flicked his wand and reconjured it near the ceiling of Dizzy's room. A small taste of what was to come... |
