Age: 21 Ethnicity: Irish Occupation: Owner of the speakeasy “The Phantom Jack” Alliance: Well… considering she’s running an illegal establishment, she’s not that bad. Especially when you compare her to the people she does business with. Abilities: Evelyn is a wizard when it comes to mixing drinks, and can dance for hours at a time before getting tired. She also likes to boast that she can hold her liquor better than any man. She can sing, but rarely does because she likes to watch rather than perform. Evelyn is also a great card player, mostly because she cheats (but she's a good cheater), and black jack is her favorite game. Physical Description: Evelyn has a very slight build, and towers above her sister at a whopping 4’10.” She wears her short, fiery red hair in a bob, but she’s almost always wearing some kind of cloche over it. Her accent is heavy, but it only adds to her charm. Her eyebrows have an attractive arch, and her skin is naturally pale; saving her a ton of money on make-up to look whiter. Her lips are always painted bright red, and she uses quite a bit of eye make-up to make her large, bright green eyes stand out. Lucky for her, she knows how to apply make as well as a bird knows how to fly, maybe even better, so she always looks 150%. She is always dressed in a flapper dress of some kind, and her arms and fingers are adorned with bracelets and rings and there are long strings of pearls and beads around her neck. Personality: Evelyn is in the 20’s in her 20’s, and she is loving it! She’s witty, and quick with a joke. She’s materialistic, but not greedy. She just wants what she asked for, nothing less nothing more. The bartender is very laid back and loves to have fun. Her slim form, pleasant smile and quirky charm attract men and she will flirt mercilessly, but will never fall in love. She’s also stubborn as a mule. When it comes to business, she can be ruthless, and will haggle with people until the price is outrageously low, or the other begins to threaten her life if she keeps pulling the price down. Evelyn does not plan, she’s rash, and will follow her first impulse. Though this tends to get her into trouble, her quick tongue usually helps he get out of it. She enjoys art and good music, and has her own band playing at The Phantom Jack all the time. History: Evelyn’s parents immigrated to America with her sister when she was four, and then moved to Chicago when she was ten. Her father disappeared one day, leaving her mother to care for her twin daughters, and she never heard from the slime ball again. She loved the city, and often skipped out of school to just wander around the streets. She learned to dance, and ran around with a reckless group of friends who often got into trouble, but thanks to Kitty, was they rarely stayed in trouble for long. She prided herself in knowing the name of every cop in Chicago by the age of 18. Her mother never found out about what she had been doing, and if she had, she wouldn’t care. After her father left, her mother simply lost herself. She was beside herself all the time, and Evelyn rarely saw her without a bottle of some form of alcohol in her hand. She decided never to become that drunk ever in her life, and swore off falling in love with a man afraid of what the heartache would do to her When the government established the 18th Amendment, she got the bright idea of opening a speakeasy. She had The Phantom Jack up and running before the week was out. After three years, the Phantom Jack, named for her father, is easily one of the most popular speakeasies in Chicago. Other: Wherever Evelyn is, Liam Mac’Brien can be found. He’s not hard to miss either, since he’s 6’5” with broad shoulders, and muscles on his muscles. He’s a man of few words, meaning he’d rather pop some in her kisser to break his jaw than say “Shut your trap” first. He is Evelyn’s body guard, and the bouncer for her the Phantom Jack. He’s usually wearing a black suit coat with dark grey pinstripes, and a dark grey fedora angled so you can’t see his eyes. Even, Evelyn does know the color of his eyes. X3 Name: Bridget “Typhoon” O’Dailey Age: 21 Ethnicity: Irish Occupation: Leader of the Silencers, and Secretery Alliance: Extreme Prohibitionist Abilities: Bridget can break into any speakeasy and leave it looking like a tornado ripped through it in ten minutes flat! Her weapon of choice? Two hatchets. ;) She’s also one of the few people, including the only girl who can scare Liam. Physical Description: Bridget has the same slight build, the same big green eyes, the same fiery red hair, the same alabaster complexion, the same face shape and the same heavy Irish accent as her twin sister, yet she looks nothing like Evelyn. Her red hair cascades down her back when it’s down, ending just above her waist, but she usually has it braided in pigtails. She never wears make up because she believes it to be impractical and a waste of money. Her clothing is modest and inexpensive, but she always appears to be neat and tidy. Personality: Like her sister, Bridget is headstrong and rash, but that’s where their similarities end. She’s extremely religious, and while she does enjoy music, it’s usually church hymns sung by a choir. Bridget is extremely honest and couldn’t lie her way out of a paper bag. She’s fairly shy, and doesn’t like to talk to people she doesn’t know very well, but when she’s on her speakeasy rampages, she’s like a wild cat! She is kind and generous, and is happily engaged to the man of her dreams. History: Bridget’s parents immigrated to America when she was four, and then moved to Chicago when she was ten. She hated New York City, and when they moved to Chicago, she was even more miserable. While her sister skipped school and ran around making trouble, she was busy with more important matters. She worked hard to support her mother, and took care of the distraught woman, while attending school as much as she could. Bridget reprimanded her sister and pleaded to stop making trouble, but of course Evelyn ignored her, and eventually, her twin never came home. Then one day, there was a knock on her door, and when she answered it, there were two neatly dressed, but weary-looking young men on her doorstep. They introduced themselves as missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and asked if she wanted to hear their message of some plan of happiness God had in made for all of his children. She let them in and listened to their message, and accepted a book of scripture called The Book of Mormon. Bridget read it and learned everything she could about this peculiar, yet wonderful religion, and in the process, she stopped drinking alcohol. When she turned 18, she was baptized and confirmed a member of the “Mormon” Church. When speakeasies began to pop up, she created a prohibition group called “Silencers” to go around and trash the illegal bars. One day, when she turned twenty, she answered a knock at her door to find the young missionary, who had taught and baptized her, standing on her doorstep. Only now he was no longer a missionary, but a young man and he had come to ask her to marry him. She said “Of course” and they are currently engaged. Other: Her fiancée’s name is Ezekiel Snow. He’s 6 feet tall, with a lean but muscular build, sandy-colored hair, and brown, puppy dog eyes. He hopes once they’re married, she’ll settle down, and stop breaking into bars. He doesn’t believe it’s safe for her to do. He plans on moving to Utah once he has the money to pay for train tickets, and a small house. Bridget is thrilled at the thought of leaving the city, and can’t wait to go. OOC:I probably will not be using Bridget as much as Evelyn, so I would just count them as one character. |

Could prove interesting if they meet up one day! ;) I also forsee a contest between Evelyn and Nikolai, because he's like Vladimir (Vladimir is like him?) in that he can drink a lot and still just feel a buzz ;)
