"Really close?" Vladimir said, feeling the adrenaline slowly pump into his veins. He remembered that strange creature and strained his ears to hear it -- he couldn't, of course; it's hard to classify things by their sound alone, especially from a distance. Still, he suspected that he would be hearing it soon. For some reason (probably the fact that someone with psychic powers wouldn't be out of place in that particular academy) he trusted Leah's warning, and was preparing for the worst. "I guess we'd better pick up the pace if we hope to make it to the Danger Room!" Cerci and Infinates were flying left and right as Vladimir and Leah slowly made their way down the hall. One rather overzealous Infinate got a face-full of shoe leather before become close friends with the wall and promptly losing conscious. OOC: Don't worry, I've made the same mistake myself... which just might be worse.
PS: Wasn't sure what else to do, because I didn't want to godmod and get us safely inside ^^; Besides... what fun would that be? |

Meaning, she ordered Rafale out to help her go faster. "Rafale, heed my call," she said forcefully, punching the wall.
"Mistress...?" He began, floating around Kalfu-Aurelia. "Oh. I see. Master, rather." He bowed, as much as he could in an incorporeal state. "I'll push you, since you've already got far too many souls in one body..." Rafale wrapped around her feet, a blue, glowing mist. Kalfu-Aurelia, aided by Rafale, streaked down the halls and reached Vladimir and Leah in no time. "Long time no see," she cackled, cracking her knuckles. Rafale then dissapeared, task fulfilled. --- Abyss's coiled arms struck out again and again, like twin vipers. Quick, precise, and ready to go again in seconds. And just as lethal. On one hit, Abyss grabbed a branch. "Crap," he said, inhaling the thing into himself. It dissapeared into his stomach, into a dimension where few had gone and no one wanted to go... OOC:Rafale doesn't require a sacrifice when summoned by Legba/Kalfu since they are of a much higher level, and are summoners by nature. He does it out of respect for their higher status.

She was 100% sure that letting the strange blue man catch them. His attacks were very precise, and even quick to the human eye, but to B-11 it was like watching a movie in slow motion (If she knew what a movie was, that is...). On her own, the raccoon girl would have had no trouble avoiding him, but the girl served as a dead weight, which made things a bit more difficult.
She dragged Lulu into a fountain and the rearing horse was soon snatch by one of the tendrils and snatched away. The raccoon girl zipped out from behind the statue, leaving Lulu all wet. If she waqs smart, she would remain out of sight. B-11 did not feel that she was responsible for this girl's well-being. Besides, she was havinga much easier time avoiding the strange man's attacks. She soon was able to entertain herself by tossing random objects at him and watching them disappear. How was this achieved? Where did it all go? A small, amused smile tugged the corners of her mouth as tossed someone's abadoned bookbag at him while she continued to zip around her opponent. |
