Well, considering her mother was able to live there as a full-blooded Xarian and not have anyone notice, I think she's rather safe. Her mother was very thorough when she went into hiding. She found an older couple that had died in a fire and forged the necessary paperwork perfectly that said that she was their daughter and a pure Tierisian. Then she arranged to be cremated once she died and to have her ashes scattered after having Elaina to assure her daughter's safety. Chieko was very, very efficent. There's really no solid proof unless you get a warrant to do a blood test and no one is going to accuse the Emperor's right-hand woman of being a traitor just because she "looks Xarian." Plus, if the test was done illegally, the evidence would not be elligible in a court of law. Besides, I think someone would have noticed by now if they ever were going to; Imean she's more Xarian than anything else for crying outloud. The only ones who might not be fooled would be the Xarians or Arkus. I think half-and-half would be pretty cool! Especially if she ever is exposed. To have absolutely no Tierisian, after thinking she was a full her entire life will really send Elaina for a whirl. She would never be able to get a job anywhere in the Empire, assuming they don't lock her up and use her as a lab rat for the rest of her miserable life. Plus, the Keitosian and the Xarian inside her would be incredibly interesting. How would that affect her powers? How would that affect her personality? The Xarian side of her has probably been more active since Yankeirou picked her and the Keitosian has probably been dormant or maybe even suppressed by the eagle spirit. It might explain why she is merciful toward the Amran people, but once she is crossed or in battle she is rather ruthless. If the Keitosian was ever given more reign, I can see some seriously evil Elaina... That could be interesting. Like stealing candy from babies evil!!!!! :twisted: MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Maybe being around Arkus for an extended period of time will help her get in touch with her evil side. However, I'm content with leaving her as she is now. |

I'll be putting up an actually history of Keitos soon...I expect that Elaina's powers will be quite odd...Given total lack of humanity, it would be kind of a cross between control over one's own body and very offensive magics. You'll see. |
