Vega shrugged. "Until my employer comes through," she said, a smile quirking her lips, "I don't think I'd like to pay so much for a bottle of water. Unless you're going to be the gentleman and buy it for me-- and even then, I may have to object on basic principle." She was not by any means poor, but neither was she one to spend frivolously. She knew the value of money; she'd spent much of her childhood in an orphanage, after all, and she would have just as much of a problem allowing anyone else to spend 500 credits on a bottled water as she would have spending it herself. |

This was apparently very funny. "My dear friend I don't even have 500 credits. That's why I said it depends on how much you are willing to spend." He winked at her, even though the gesture was probably lost. Even though he had been "working," he had made almost no money from it. What he did make went straight to buying himself actual food. He could have gotten food from the bar, of course, but it would have been neither nutritious nor tasty. In fact, it probably would have grown into some strange parasite and devoured him from the inside. At least, that's how he looked at it.
"Actually," he said, fishing through the numerous pockets in his robes, "I just might be broke at the moment. So, you have money for a cab or do we foot it?" If he were alone, Jidat wouldn't have minded walking so much. After all, he could simply jump from building to building and look at it as training. As it was, of course, he didn't care too much to reveal this particular ability. Besides, though the woman seemed to have some talent with the force, he would have been surprised to see her leap after him. He would have been interested, of course; Jidat actually hoped that she could. Still, there was just no good way to ask about that. |

After they had arrived by airtaxi, Yuuki had felt the presence of many force users inside and around, and felt it would be best to see what occured next. He knew that the Sith from before was lurking nearby as well, but he hadn't been able to pinpoint his location yet. However, Yuuki was quite surprised when he felt the weak neutral aura coming towards him as it left the bar. No, not weak, just...quiet. This person was hiding their force powers. It was with a more present aura, and it seemed that they were leaving the bar at that point in time. Yuuki turned to Kylin.
"Steady..." he said, his hand reaching for his lightsaber. "I feel something dark inside the bar..." |

Kylin nodded. "Me too." She put her hand on her lightsaber, and her eyes flashed orange. "Prepare yourself for anything." -------- Eragus shot the bartender a look, and the bartender looked quite faint. "Let's go, Zaris," he said in a quiet, yet menacing tone. They left the bar. As soon as they emerged onto the street, however... "Shiraz!!" Kylin yelled. "I do not answer to that name anymore," Zaris answered coolly. Kylin's eyes turned a bright, burning orange, and she drew her lightsaber. "Neither do I, Sith." |
