"I have all the permission in the world to follow you, or at least tonight. If you don't want to let the others hear of what you did I suggest you come with me, and we can talk in private." whispered Rujik to Jezebel As Rujik walked away his tunic and pants swayed in the breeze that had entered the temple. Rujik walked to Hitatsu and spoke "Do not worry about the relics, I will make sure no harm comes to you." Rujik's eyes looked around at everyone and looked outside through the window and saw that the moon was leaving and the sun returning. The bangings on the wall trickled to a stop as the sun rose. "Ok what are we going to do now? Jezebel do you want to talk? Hitatsu, do you need a job?" spoke Rujik in his deep dwarven voice. |

Only then did she realize that her hood had fallen back, but made no sign of bringing it back up. Everyone had seen her face there was no point of trying to hide her appearance any more. Jezebel stopped in mid-step as Rujik addressed her. Her face was slightly flushed, and eyes still smouldered dangerously from her small outburst.
"I do not know what you are talking about," she said placidly, looking at the dwarf sideways with slanted eyes. "You obviously have me confused with some one else." The savage damsel, however, seemed to be drawn to him, and as if she had no choice in the matter, she reluctanly walked after him. Rujik had surprised, and slightly confused her. How did he know she had done anything? The young woman had been very cautious the whole time before entering and after leaving the castle. Did he know about the book? Did he want it as well as the one who hired her? Or are they in league with each other? If he did want the book was he willing to pay more for it? Lastly, why had he asked for her name if he already knew what it was? In what seemed to be no time at all she found herself looking down at the dwarf. The morning sun's first rays began to cast a soft glow upon her. "What is it that you think I have done, Master... Rujik, isn't it?" Jezebel asked innocently; her voice was quiet enugh that only the nosey dwarf could hear. |

As mighty air cushions blew to his grunty countenance (face) he retrieved his normal will and had forgotten the sorrow he had previously attained. In the waves of a cool tempest he watched the darkness fading and sunrise bringing. Such an early rise was a magical sight; the horrid undead have disintegrated and only sweet mist remained. In contrast to the beautiful settings of a tranquil morning there was Hitatsu whose armor's shine had been broken by the dusky twlight, a lumbering and dull, sitting figure. He momentarily widened his broad hands and shook his head at them as if in disappointment. Conclusively, and decisively, he continued gazing out to the skies but at a shorter glance, quit, and browsed about his allies. Firstly his sight rendered into Rujik's province, examining his stocky yet studded features, as well as detecting a noble presense within him. It was such a surprise how a thin, shadowy cloaked figure that he felt hostility in turned out to be a portly and a cordial dwarf with a holy aura that seemed to surround him. Hitatsu was also aware that he was one of the temple priests, who he had respective manners for not just because of their decent occupation, but by the reason that they were the religion who helped him recover. His wandering eyes nextly met Jezebel. Hitatsu peaked long at Anarwyn's face, for it was the first time he had seen her. He saw a woman of brown hair and smouldering steel-gray eyes whose loneliness was mysteriously passive and who easily immolated to fraustration. Her kind of personality made him suspicious about her career; she was always independent, secretive, and demanding on answers. It seemed to Hitatsu there were nothing common between him and Jezebel. He prefered an optimistic path, original and reflexive, yet not extreme. Still, although Jezebel would be happier alone, he wanted to help her somewhat throughout her weaknesses.
"Another day has arrived. Ha, what a night it was! First a stalker, next the undead, then the temple guards... I tell you, as soon as I woke in that chamber that night I thought it was well as my last." Hitatsu let out a cheerful laugh. He unequipped his helmet, took out a small armorer's hammer, and banged it delicately to the helmet. His skills as an armorer seemed well-balanced yet simultaneously natural, so much in fact he managed to speak to Rujik while casually banging on his armor. "So what jobs will you be offering me, sir Rujik?" He interrogated, as a chicken in a distance crookadoodled and awakened the spirits of the morning. Judging from the sound, the chicken's yell came from the city of Vivec, which was not far from here at the temple. |

Rujik was suprised that his simple questions came with such complicated answers. "Guards will you excuse us?"This is all he said and the guards were gone, leaving the room with three people. "Hitatsu, the job I have for you is not really a job, but a oppurtunity to learn. While you were healing I saw you and thought that you might want to become an apprentince to me. There are other jobs the temple can offer but this one would be more...fun." Spoke Rujik to Hitatsu in his deep dwarven voice. "Jezebel I know much about you, I know your job, why you don't live in one place, I know your employer, and I know why you were out last night. If you don't want Hitasu or anyone else to hear I suggest we go to my study where we can talk alone. |

After a moment of thought she said, "Very well, I'll speak to you, privately." Once she got him alone she could overpower him and be on her merry way with the book. He was a dwarf, and a preist for that matter!! How much trouble could he be? Jezebel felt Hiatsu's stare and turned to find him tapping at his helmet. It seemed that his mood brightend with the very day itself. His gentle hammerings showed patience and diligence. His eyes practically glowed with that same contentment she had witnessed the night before. Hitatsu possessed all the symptoms of an optimist, and wanting to find the goodness is everyone. The poor fool. Although she tried to convince herself that the man was just another face that she would never meet again, Jezebel could not help but to feel otherwise... The young woman mentally shook herself out of her thoughts, and snapped her head back to face Rujik. Jezebel felt a sharp pain in her neck from turning her head to qucikly, and resisted massaging it. |

I am glad that you wished to speak with me. Why did you take that book? It pricked your hand and made it bleed, but you took it anyways. If you are wondering how I know this I was a shade last night, you saw and passed by me many times, mistaking me for a shadow. I need to know who sent you there, and why."
Rujik tried to speak softly, but being a dwarf his voice echoed throught the study. "As you think of your answer I will change, being in the same clothes does not suit me. I will return in a minute." Rujik left the study, softly closing the door behind him and whispering a few undescribable words twoards the door. Rujik calmly walked up the Temple's stairs up into his room where he saw his familiar simple furniture. Inside his room he had a bed with blue and green sheets, his dresser was made of warm red cherry wood, and his mirror was as tall as the wall. This was all that was in the dwarfs room, seeming to simple, for such a strange man. Rujik stripped his brown pants and green tunic and pulled out robes from his dresser. His bottom robe was bright white and light blue, looking godly. His upper robe was the same colour, but with a dark blue on the cuffs. On his feet were loose boots that comfortably covered his feet, and his hands were gloved with the same material as the robes. The robed man left his room and returned to the study. Rujik neared the door and re-whispered the same words when he left. He opened the door to see Jezebel sitting, thinking, in one of the chairs. |

Rujik knew to much, no, he knew everything, and Jezebel knew that he would not have left her alone unless he knew she could not have left. Jezebel predicted that the dwarf would probably have to be removed from the picture to keep him silent. Her employer ordered her not to kill anyone, but she assumed it applied as long as she was in the castle. And I'm not in the castle anymore, she thought grimly.
While Jezebel waited, she sat down in one of the chairs. Her eyes became misty as she became lost in her own tangle of thoughts. Rujik returned to find her sitting with perfect posture, and her legs tucked neatly beneath the chair. Her hands rested in her lap, and she stared straight ahead, raely blinking. She had removed her sword to allow her to sit comfortably, and it leaned against her chair within easy reach. Jezebel did not acknowledge Rujik's presence as he returned. As far as she was concerned, she was still alone in the room. |

Monotous hammer beats came to a stop and the birds resumed their songs. Hitatsu was delighted to wear his helmet again. He twisted it left and right, back and forth, until it came to an adjustant angle on his head. Tired, he laid back quietly and watched the still sky. Nature was at its truest form, being silent and eternal, with dewshone grass and seldom birds appearing and taking flight to an ever journey. As Hitatsu witnessed the dull harmony, the setting of peace caused him to be lost in his own deep thoughts. He wondered. The birds migrate, the plants grow... why must the birds go? Or how do plants grow? How is everything the way it is, ever ceasing to change? Hitatsu had not fallen asleep for he was wakeful, and soon the silence bored him, so he got up back to his feet. Suddenly, his stomach growled. It was then that Hitatsu noticed that he had not eaten for long and started looking for food. The best way he thought of was to go into the woods; he could hunt animals for meat, which he mooded for. So the metalclad figure made his way through the woods, positioning himself behind bushes in cover and waiting for any slight movement that he could detect, whether it was a small tattering of a squirrel, or any odd changes around nature that would reveal an animal's presense. As soon as Hitatsu is to see a signal, he would jump out and surprise any aware prey.
OOC:Since I havn't done this before, I would like to mention Hitatsu's two main weapons; a crossbow and a shortsword. Sorry if you planned to do something with him earlier. Anyways, keep up with the good (and maybe occasional :| ) posting. Please agree with my choice of equipments! |

As Rujik entered his study he saw Jezebel in a trance-like state, wondering what had happened. "Jezebel are you there?"Rujik soflty spoke to Jezebel. When Jezebel did not answer he just took his seat across from Jezebel. Rujik planed to sit there until Jezebel woke up. |

She sat with all the poise of a noble Lady, and her grey eyes were misty and unblinking. Her breathing came slowly and evenly.
Finally, her eyes fluttered slightly, as if she had just opened them after a long sleep. However, in an instant, they became as sharp and as cold as her blade. Jezebel saw Rujik, and her eyes grew wide for a second. Then all Lady-like grace melted faster than a snowflake under a summer sun. She leaned back in her seat and crossed her arms. Not a word, she spoke for words were not needed. Her gaze and posture said it all, 'Ask what you will, but do not expect me to co-operate.' |

"If you will not cooperate you can stay here, forever. All I need to know is why you did it, and if you have any idea what is in your hands." Rujik spoke then sat for a moment, seeing Jezebel not move at all Rujik got up and left the room. As he closed the door he whisperd the same words as he did before. |

He could not be serious, forever was a long time. There was nothing she hated more than being locked in a room, and she had avoided it since she was a child...
No, do not think of those times. Jezebel sat down and tried become lost in her thoughts once more. However, she could not concentrate. She growled in frustration, and began to pace again. Jezebel did not break anything in the room for that would clearly show the dwarf that he was getting to her. Stay here forver. This was a temple! Not a prison. Rujik could never hold her here against her will. Unless know one ever knew where she was, and besides who would care? Plenty, she supposed, but none of them would ever think to look for her in a temple. Except perhaps one, the man who told her to jump out that window... Hitatsu. However, he seemed to be getting along swell with the dwarf. She sat down, exasperated. I need to get out. I need to deliver this book. |

Rujik entered the main room without Hitatsu, so he made his way out of the temple. Rujik looked outside into Vivec and saw townsfolk running errands, but no Hitatsu. Rujik calmly walked back into the temple and went to his room. He quickly fell asleep on his bed. |

From the temple, one could see a nebulous figure approaching with a triumphant and unsteady hike in the distance, his armor blended in the forest environment by the lightings of casting trees; Hitatsu carried a pair of raw rabbits jabbed to a shortsword and looked forward to return to the temple grounds so he could grill them on a familiar spot. It took him a moment to reach his destination, though, because he quite lost himself while he was chasing a prey. Hitatsu rambled wildly, struggling to cut across bushes, and finally saw the light. While his movements showed stubborn, it also seemed gentle as a tribal dance. His dark smile on his face coincided with the passing light as he walked stupidly out of the woods toward a field near the temple, where he sat down and tried to light a fire by rubbing stones and wooden sticks. Hitatsu sat with the same dull pose as he had this morning and made machine-like attempts to catch a fire. He couldn't flick a hint of smoke however, and ultimately threw a wooden stick with fraustration. It flew with an aerodynamic force, landed on the woods in which he came from, and caused some nesting birds to fly away in fright. Hitatsu shook his head. Thinking that there must be some way to light a fire with the resources nearby, he browsed about desperately for ideas. Perhaps the temple has a torch I can borrow. He thought, and started over to the temple steps. |

It still looked like a plain book, why would there be so much fuss over it? However, in many stories, the most magical objects looked plain... Do not open it. that was what her employer had told her. All I need to know is why you did it, and if you have any idea what is in your hands. That was what the dwarf had told her before he locked her in the study again. Well, she thought, examining the book. I have already disobeyed every other order the cloaked man gave me, and the only way to figure out what the book contains is to open it. Besides, Jezebel placed her slender hand on the right edge of the cover. I must do something or I will go mad. She took a deep breath, and cautiously lifted the cover. |
