He sleepily pushed the wall that he leaned on to get back on his feet and yawned, "Why, the night air is fine as ever, Miss Anarwyn. But that leaping creature might not be." Hitatsu grimly stared at the falling leaves of the tree where the shadow hid. He shook his head while Jezebel reached for her weapon. "You'll only provoke him." Hitatsu reasoned. He's a vicious one, Miss Anarwyn. Let's both head back to the temple, where the creature won't be able to enter. Then we'll use the holy advantage to get rid of the beast." He used his most gentle tone and hoped to persuade Jezebel. |

"I want him to come out." she said quietly. Holy advantage, fah!! The day I believe in some 'divine goddess' is the day I give up my occupation. Jezebel thought to herself, glaring at the shadow. This coward has been hiding for long enough, and it is time for him to stand and fight. |

"I am not here to hurt you" spoke the shadow, with obvious difficulties. The voice seeming like it wasnt even coming from the being infront of Jezebel, more like from the air. The shadow looked twoards the glass and pulled his cloak tighter. The shadow seemed to take more shape and form as he looked at the temple, and its window. "There are vampires afoot, come we musnt stay outside."whispered the changing form. As the once shadow stood there waiting for Jezebel he returned to his normal form, still undefinable. "Are you two going to stay out here or stay in the temple, I will explain inside, hurry!" |

Untrust, and hostility seemed to radiate frome her now. However, the young woman's curiosity got the best of her, yet again and she reluactanly turned and walked into the temple. Only when she entered the temple did she notice the strange behavior of the window. She whipped around to face the shodow creature. "What is going on here?" she demanded in a voice as cold and sharp as her sword. |

Hitatsu tracked along with the other two. He frequently gave unwelcome stares to the shadow on the corner of his eyes, wondering what it is and why he trusted him, or rather, why Jezebel first began believing the creature and why he himself followed suit. Hitatsu would only fight when he could not flee, but his honorable duties minded him not to leave a lady to be stuck with a foul creature. He remained wordless once inside the temple, something he usually does when he feels threat. He was aware the creature's every notion and movement, watching and waiting for any hint of aggression. Whenever the creature stood facing Jezebel to speak to her, Hitatsu stood right behind the creature. If the creature made one false move and jumped on Jezebel, Hitatsu would have a solid chance to backstab him. |

The doors closed from the top down, solid slabs of stone blocked their path out. As soon as the blocks closed something hit the slabs from the outside. Whatever was outside was ramming itself on the doors. One jumped extremely high and meant to break through the window, but as soon as it touched the window it was thrown to the ground.
"Hurry we must warn the Temple Guard." The changing shadow spoke quickly, insisting they came with him inside the holy temple. |

Jezebel could not help that she jumped when whatever it was rammed itself into the doors. "These are the vampires you spoke of," it was a statement, not a question. Though she tried her best to sound bored, a very slight waver could be heard. She did not even bother to try and hide her sword, she wore it openly in the temple halls with her hand ready to unsheathe it at any moment. However, her face was still cast in shadow by the hood of her cape. The assassin still did not trust whatever this being was, but her curiosity was aroused and would not rest until safised. "Warn the Temple Guard? Of what? Who are you? What is going on?" Jezebel asked, detiremined not to go anywhere until she knew. |

Hitatsu glanced at the instantaneous motion of the one of the many creatures that newly intruded. It was the creature that fell once it had reached the temple window, which gathered his attention and interest. Despite the rude noises that came forth from the bangings of a mysterious stone wall, Hitatsu silently treaded in front of the window, stretched out his arms steadily, and in his right hand he picked up and felt the edges of the sword, one of the window's sudden relics. In his other hand he held the cross, examining its soft layers in his plated fingers. He turned his torso facing the party. "Might these things be helpful in destroying those beasts?" Hitatsu's suggested, having not spoken to anyone in particular. His face was hysterical and a wonderment. |

As soon as Hitatsu picked up the relics from the window the cloaked man quickly turned around, sensing that they moved. "Those are holy relics, put them away before the alarmed Temple keepers come." spoke the cloaked man. The wall continued to be beat upon by the humanoids outside, shaking the wall and everything near it. The sound of rushed footsteps came twoards the group, it was the Temple keepers and the Temple guard. |

Go to the castle, take the book, and give it to the man and his coat of many colors. This job should have been done by now. Of all nights to be followed, why did I have to be followed tonight? Jezebel thought to herself with a sigh. She rolled her eyes at the mention of 'holy relics,' but the Temple Gaurd did cause some worry. The young woman had been told not to attract attention, and she had received more than enough, already. Now she was trapped inside the temple with the Temple Guard and angry sounding undead beings attacking the outside. To top the whole mess off, she was carrying an evil biting book that she had stolen from the king! The assassin massaged her temples, I think I should have stayed home tonight. |

"Wait." Hitatsu held out and waved his arm in a surrendering way, trying to conceive the guards. "I know. These are your holy relics," He inevidably held them visible. "You see, I was trying to destroy this vile creature of darkness!" He gripped the shadow by its shoulders, while holding the sacred blade to its throat. "I had to. Pick it up, that is. There were no other weapons in my sight." It was evident that Hitatsu was revising. "The situation is quite difficult. There are undead beings outside, trying to get in. You can hear it for yourself." He emphasized on the banging stone barricades. "I believe that this is the one who brought them here!" Then Hitatsu switched. He whispered to the cloaked man, "Don't worry. I have a plan." His voice hushed, he barked at Jezebel, signaling her. "Now, Miss Anarwyn! Escape. Jump out the window!" |

"We must stay here till daytime, then the undead will be gone. Unless you want to fight them, that is always an option."
The shadow man started to become a full figure as he spoke, revealing his true shape and form. The man was actually a dwarven priest, who shrunk when he took off his cloak. The dwarf then put the cloak in a pack that he wore on his back. The dwarves long braided beard touched his worn leather boots, looking strange compared to the others. The dwarf was wearing a green tunic with loose brown pants. "Why are you two looking at me funny?"the dwarf said to Hitatsu and Jezebel. As soon as the dwarf changed form the Temple guard immediently changed their expressions. "Where have you been Master Rujik? We were worried when we did not see you in your quarters last night."spoke the guards to the dwarf Rujik. "I was trailing this woman, but that is my own buisness. Are we going to stay here and talk or are we going to kill some undead!?"yelled the dwarf. As he said this he pulled out his weapon, a staff with a ball at the top. The ball was covered in spikes while the rest of the staff was plain. The dwarf easily carried the heavy looking weapon. "Sorry to alarm you to, my name is Rujik and the Temple is my home, what are your names?" spoke Rujik to Anarwyn(Jezebel) and Hitatsu. |

She made a fist and punched the dwarf full in the face, and the force was hard enough to make fim fly back a few feet before landing on the ground on his buttox. In her rage her hood fell back revealing her face, yet she was to angry to care. "YOU PERVERTED STALKER!! She screeched at the dwarf, towering threateningly above him. Her steely eyes were set ablaze, raging with a wild fire. "HOW DARE YOU FOLLOW ME!!! WHATEVER GAVE YOU THE ASSUMPITON THAT YOU COULD TRAIL OTHERS AT YOUR OWN WHIM?!? AND YOU THINK YOU COULD JUST ASK FOR MY NAME?!?" After shouting a few more choice phrases at him, she stormed up to Hitatsu. "AND YOU!! DID YOU REALLY THINK I'M STUPID ENOUGH TO JUMP OUT A WINDOW?!?! HOW FAR DID YOU THINK I'D GET WITH THOSE FREAKS OUTSIDE!!!" The angry young woman turned away from everyone else and continued to to storm around the temple, not realizing her hood had fallen back. Though her ranting had stopped, her eyes were still enraged and her breathing was heavy. How could this situation possibly get any worse? |

"I was only trying to make a getaway..." Hitatsu answered, having muttered more to himself than at Jezebel's back. He had planned to get away having stolen the sword out of the window, cut his way through the undead with the instrumental holy blade, and finally to run out of both the undead and the temple guard's sight. His quick plan had backfired and Hitatsu was abashed with the feelings of confusion, fright, and adrenalin. His pain struck again. What was I thinking? I would have stolen the relics and endangered the lady. He pounded his chest. What have I done? He owed the temple its relics and an atonement to Jezebel. This must be my fault. I shouldn't have foolishly touched the relics. He hopelessly and doubtfully looked around him, not knowing what best to do next. Will they forgive me? The chances were odd, but he still had to make the best out of the situation. Hitatsu shyly walked near one of the temple guards, surrendering the items that he had taken. Then he walked to Rujik and offered him a hand to get back up. "Sorry about the previous... encounter. Many apologies to you and the temple, priest sir." |
