As Jezebelle was wandering the halls of the temple she was suddenly in a large circular room with a massive stained glass dome top. There were pillars all around the outer layer of the circular room. OOC:14/20 Inside the room was one person in a raggety woolen cloak praying on its kness infront of a sandstone tablet. OOC:10/20 Jezebelle could not make out more than whispers of the person's prayer. The stained glass dome top made rainbow colours on the marble floor, and shadows dancing from tall tree branches. OOC:2/20 The person started to get up and began turning to the doorway that Jezebelle was standing in. |

At his surroundings were wood, birds, and small, harmless mammals alike, two of which fell prey to provide him food. His mood was tranquil under the distorted sunlight of shading trees, his mind seekful of venture and combat while the body is hearth and eager to pounce. He reached his chin remembering the lost past... friends... the crafty Anarwyn and the saintly dwarf... Hmm... what was the name of that stout priest again? Duties he offered me last time I recall. Why have I been separated from the playful two? I shall meet them again. At this conclusion, he yelled a wild shout of joy, fueled by hope of his reunion with the familiar. A shout loud enough to tremble the woods... |

"I hope I didn't disturb your prayer. I'm still trying to find my around the temple." She allowed a small, polite smile to tug at her lips. The assassin looked at the tablet, but she couldn't read it. "You wouldn't happen to know where the library is, now, would you? It's fairly improtant that I find it."
It's very important I find that book, again, Jezebelle thought to herself. I need to get it to that wierdo in the strange cloak, or I'll never be paid! |

The person in the cloak looked up to Jezebelle and removed his hood to reveal a young face, not ten years old. Under the cloak the boy looked strong but his face was sweet and weak. "I am not sure where the library is milady, but I can help you find it." said the young boy. OOC:14/20
The boy started walking and motiend for Jezebelle to follow. "I think its this way." OOC:18/20
The boy started to run up the spiral staircase taking four steps at a time. He then walked to a large wooden door and pushed on it. The door quickly swung open, the first thing to come to Jezebelle's mind was the odor of old musty books. The large room was as big as the courtyard behind the temple. There were shelves upon shelves of different types of books. Directly in front of the two was one old woman sitting at a small desk reading a book. |

Ah, just what I was looking for... a group of orcs whose skulls I can bash! Hitatsu thought. Fueled by energy and pulse from sufficient sleep and food, he felt ready to jump at any one of the four humanoids, but calmed himself as he reconsidered. One needs patience and a plan to triumph, he taught himself. In a setting as dark and nebulous as the one he is present in, a sneaking tactic would be effective. He could also use his crossbows to surprise them from an unknown distance, or dive in with his mighty sword to destroy them in a fit of rage. Yuhandra, guide my path. Bring me victory against these green wretches who are enemies to your holy city. Hitatsu gave a short prayer to the goddess he had faith in, then readied his crossbow and sword. Gaining tremendous confidence, he decided first to intimidate them. He roared with his unfaltering voice, "Hear me, you pitiful mortals. I am Shorztek, god of the night forest. You bring unpleasant ruin with your belligerent nature. You and the rest of your doomed race, leave clear of this forest and of Vivec immediately, else suffer with all fortitude!" And so began a fight. |

The band of orcs heard this yell from the trees and were immediatly frightend. They began looking everywhere and walking so fast that they began to run away from the voice that they heard. The small group lost their way in the created confusion and turned around running back to the source of the voice. OOC:3/20 One of the orcs ran over a huge tree stump, almost tripped, but regan his step running straight twoards Hitatsu's position. OOC:19/20 The single orc that was near Hitatsu stoped, not three feet away from him and stood there. He looked around like the forest was suddenly very interesting. The other orcs calmed themselves and began looking for the lost one... |

Do the higher numbers favor the player (Jezebelle and Hitatsu) or the characters that you control? Or does it change depending on who is doing the action?
Hitatsu began to grow amused to the orcs' reaction, yet attempted not to let out any laughter, as his concealment from them was a critical factor to being a predator. Hidden, he made the lone orc as his first target. He considered a usage of the sword more effective than to shoot an opponent at such a close range with his crossbow, where he briefly considered the possibility of missing and even shooting himself to the foot. Hitatsu put all his might behind both his legs, leaping out of the bush and plunging his sword at his first target. If the hit connected, he solemnly planned to hide evidence of the fresh corpse. |

From now on all rolls will be twoards the player. ex higher better lower worse. This will make things less complicated.

Hitatsu's blade impaled the oblivious orc in the back, shattering his spine and piercing through his heart. OOC:11/20 The orc attempted to yell out but all that came out was a quiet yell. Seconds later the body fell limp onto Hitatsu's blade, suddenly becoming very heavy. OOC:9/20 Hitatsu strained at the new weight of his sword almost dropping it onto the forest floor. OOC:7/20
The other orcs were getting more anxious with the strange voice in the forest and the loss of their partner. They began heavily searching the area where they had last seen their partner. OOC:6/20
In Hitatsu's current possition he had very little stealth advantage over the coming orcs. Hitatsu was standing out like hunter orange in the forest. OOC:18/20
Hitatsu found a perfect place for hiding his new corpse. Behind a tree that was near him there was a hole made from an animal, with leaves and branches surrounding it... |

She decided to check the shelves for the book, even though the old woman said Rujik had not been there. She coud have been lying, or come after he hid the book, or she could be senile and not remember.
The spy meandered through the silent labyrinth of shelves. Her fingers brushed aganst the bindings of the old volumes. The book "bit" her when she was doing this in the king's room, so maybe it'll do it again. |

As Jezebelle searched for the strange book her mind began to wander from the boring task. She thought of the room Rujik walked by with the strange runes inscribed everywhere, pulsing with some energy. The next thought that came to her mind was where that person in armour went, who was supposed to be helping Rujik or something of that sort. Jezebelle stood there with a dazed look on her while she stood there staring at one book, Elven Runes... |

She then walked out of the library as if in a trance. The asssassin wandered the halls until the found herself in the middle of the room with the odd runes everywhere. She blinked and looked around the room.
"Ummm... ok," Jezebelle raised an eyebrow, and looked at the book in her hands. "Why am I here? This is not the book I want!" She covered her eyes with one hand. "What has gotten into me lately?" |
