The elven druid smiled and nodded to acknowledge the barkeeper's request and also affirm his question, getting up from the table and walking up the stairs.

He took the doorhandle lightly, and carefully opened it, looking inside for it's slightly intoxicated yet breathtakingly beautiful inhabitant.

As the elf looked inside he saw the drunken lady resting on her bed. The open window made the curtains and bedsheats flow like water. The elf made no noise as he walked twoards the woman.

The human let out a sigh of relief, knowing now that the orcs are gone. He resumed his search for the cure, remembering that the herbs had a tall, thick stem with compound leaves and vibrant roots like no other. He failed to do so in a couple tries, however, for he also remembered that the plant was incredibly rare. He moved on to search again for an area with soft and nutruient soil, where the plant is most likely to be found. He rose his sword ready as he was to seek through the woods. Who knows what might lurk in the dark corners of this desolate place?

As the human walked on the ground a slight crunching noise was made. The area was darkened by the trees shadow and near the base of the mossy tree was a thick stemed plant all by itself.

The human was alerted by the unusual formation of the tree that cast such shadows, but to obtain such herb that could cure his ills would be an oppertunity he cannot miss. So he took his chances, dug the dirt beneath the thick-stemed plant with his rusty sword, and pulled the plant out of the ground gently. There he examined the plant's roots to see if it is the herb that he was looking for.

As he looked at the roots his classes from long ago told him this was the herb. As he examined the roots the tree started to slowly fall twoards him. The roots were slowly ripping out of the ground tearing the grass.

He was gratified of having found the rare and curative plant that he was looking for, and simultaneously, was alerted by the sound of the crackling tree. Luckily for him, he inherited such dexterity from the time he was born to quickly roll away from the direction the tree was falling. He looked back on the fell tree and imagined what fatality the crashing tree would have brought him, and he was thankful that it didn't happen so. Within his hands awaited the precious herb, and the once-again thankful human tore off the roots and ate them whole. The effect of the herb was easily significant; the ache disappeared as if a miracle. There was also one additional and mysterious effect. Somehow... the human felt powered by the roots of that very plant. His senses were improved; He saw stars of the distant night skies that he did not detect before, heard an owl's cry miles from him, and felt every rustlings of the leaves that small creatures, such as rabbits and rodents, made.

With the herb he needed and the extra effect of it many things were availible to the human, he did not have to worry about finding the herb. Through the forest he could see the shack he spent the night at, down a worn path that went through the rolling hills he saw what resembled a town. The rest of his world was normal.

OOC:Dont worry about the double post, this is my forum it does not matter.

OOC: Holy crap, I'm posting! :O

Meiko lay on a soft bed in a local inn, having passed out earlier from heavy drinking. She opened her eyes slowly, the dim light of the room illuminating the forms of objects in the room. Eventually her vision focused and she was able to see an elven druid that she had seen earlier in the bar.

"Who are you?" she asked, her head throbbing.

The human approached the shack and looked beyond it, where the town he did not sight before lay. He wondered if he would be invited and perhaps reside in it despite his crude outfit and shortage of cash. After all, he had nothing to lose or fear because his life is already terrible as it is. He had a good look in the shack his final time; he entered through its creaking door and looked about the rippened and dirty walls, and also saw the pile of books he slept under yesternight. Although many would regard this shack as poor and disgusting, the human valued it greatly because it gave him shelter and security. The human packed up his backpack, left the building again, gave the shack a bow of parting, and steered to the road which led to the town. His table tower shield bumped to the grounds as he walked, and his short sword shined by the dusky sunlight of the morning. Grunts and sqwaks of the animals gave music by the air.

OOC:One question Jae, your guys name has not been given because he has not spoken to anyone, or have I just overlooked the post with your charecters name?

As the human walked down the dirt path he made a crunching noise as he walked, because of the few leaves not able to withstand the hot summer. The path now looked much longer than it did while he was at the top of the hill, the town now completly being blocked out by the rolling hills ahead of him.

The hills turned into large farms, with lots of land and a house and a barn. All of the different farms had different things growing in them. Some had vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, wheat, barley, and some rare spices were in a cornor of one of the many farms.

There were many people working in the farms, some working hard because without this job they would be beggers in the streets, and others who barely did anything. Many of the workers even waved to the walking human.

As the man came to a farm gate full of old weeds there was a sign that read: Help Wanted Must be strong and willing to work Work for food and bed or for cash Ask about it inside the main farmhouse.

The wind picked up and pushed the clouds through the sky, making strange shadows on the ground. The few trees in this farmland seemed to wave at the man by the fence.

OOC:My character name is yet to be revealed. Yes, please do send an NPC to ask about his name or I will tell it to a user character I meet.

The human smiled at this peaceful terrain he was walking on. He was satisfied by the beautiful rolling hills that matched cleverly with the farming residences and its ripe looking fruits and the plenty of grains... and the cool air given by the clouds.

Then he read the sign. Weird it was, bumping himself into this conspicuous sign. Yet, he was interested in such a work and needed the food and shelter to live, so he gladly took the oppertunity of having this job and entered the "main farmhouse."

He had just passed the gate and knocked at the door of this "main farmhouse." He received no response and, impatient to wait for someone to show up, he slightly opened the door and peeked at the main farmhouse's interior.

"Hello! Anyone there?" He beckoned politely.

OOC:BTW, am I in the same town that everyone else is in?

OOC: you are very close to the other town, this is the farmland around the town

"Hello who is that, please come in I am gratefull to talk." Said a voice from inside the "main farmhouse".

From what the human waiting outside the door could see the house looked like it was built using as little as possible to make it. The walls were painted with an old flaky red paint and on them were some pictures but mainly coat racks and other hanging things. There was a living room in view that had a fireplace and a few seats in it, there was a nice painting of the countryside on one of the walls.

"Well would you like to come in?" Asked the voice from the living room

"Ah yes, I would." The human entered, closing the old wooden door behind him. "You've got a nice house. 'You're doing good for yourself,' as the people of my tradition would say. Haha." He took one of the seats near the fireplace.

"Anyways, I read your notice at your front gates. You wanted help, is that right? Well... that is why I am here." He claimed.
