She hated heights, and therefore flying was not one of her favorite activities. She slipped the sack of guns and ammunition into the pouch on the back of the seat in front of her. The professor would ahve rather be left alone in a room with a ghoul at the moment, but she knew this was the fastest way there so she was not about to voice a complaint. She buckled her seat belt tightly when she heard Odakira's announcement, closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Jo-jo jumped into the seat next to her and the professor instinctively held him close to her.
It's all right Helen, she thought to herself. It's just a plane ride. After all you've been through, this is a walk in the woods... thousands of feet in the air... Jo-jo licked her cheek comfortingly. |

Unlike Helen, she loved heights--she had flown in biplanes often, and had recently started to learn to fly one. She put her helmet under the seat in front of her, and buckled her seatbelt. Moira then leaned back in her seat, and closed her eyes. She had brought nothing to do with her, so she just let herself fall asleep. |

Vampires can't cross oceans. I think we're in London, so this could be problematic for any full vampires. Moira, I think, is probably safe since she's half, but as for any others... you'll need your coffin. I seem to remember Alucard sleeping in his coffin when flying overseas. |

But, as Kyphus (maintaining human form was starting to fatigue Chris' senses) lumbered into the cabin on all fours much like a begging dog, he found that two centuries worth of secluded mental evolution (forced and natural) had its perks.
"Odakira," Kyphus thought. Kyphus' psi was weak but Odakira's reception should more than make up for that. "I'm right here and I'm starving. Please tell me you have more on this plane than a personal bloodbank." Kyphus loped down the aisles, stretching out nerves and gears he could only use outside of a human posture. He could sense and smell everyone onboard. Odakira was close judging from the grim, dusty odor. Two heartbeats in one location told him that Helen and her dog were huddled close. Soft, steady breathing notified him that Moira was planning on sleeping throughout the entire ride. This was a strange turn. Something evil was in Vienna, or so Odakira said and they were heading there with a half-fang, a teacher, and a full-fang. Where was Shadows and Mernov? Kyphus could take care of himself and Odakira seemed competent but how would the ladies fare? "Odakira," Kyphus called to Odakira again. "What exactly IS in Vienna? Are we prepared at all?" |

Setting him down to one of the chairs, Odakira answered all his curiousities, "Alucard had told me that the enemy is in Vienna. Where at exactly, I have no clue. But with the way ghouls are running around these past few nights, it shouldn't be all that difficult. Besides, we have their objective." Odakira then gave a small nod towards Helen, then continued, "What were up against could only be more powerful than Wolfgang and Erika combined. Knowing them two, they never gave up unless necessary... But in Wolfgang's case, his love for Erika was something he would not give up on, and that's what brought his demise." The vampire then stood straight from where Chris sat, and walked back to the kitchen. A refrigeration unit was next to him as soon as he entered. Opening it, lunch meats, vegetables, fruits and what nots filled the insides of the cooler-box. Snatching a ziplock bag of some sliced ham and beef, Odakira shut the fridge door and grabbed some bread from an open cabinet. Coming back to Chris' side, he gave the seat in front of him a weak punch, causing the back side of it to fold out a tray in front of the weakened 'blind man'. Just as soon as Odakira set down the food, he heard something faint in the distance that discomforted him.
Odakira walked outside of the plane and exited the hangar. Looking up into the sky, a small and constant 'hum' became louder and closer. It was a helicopter from the sounds of it. Soon, it came into sight, and within the chopper was Walter, sitting in the passenger side. Odakira took to his stride once again as the helicopter landed in front of him; kicking up dust and dirt with a strong gust. Unburdened by the force against him, the vampire opened the door for Walter (who was removing a helmet from his head at the moment), and allowed him to step out of the aircraft. "What brings you here, Walter?" Odakira asked almost shouting so the butler would not have to strain himself to listen. "I'm here to save your life. You left you're coffin at the Organization." Walter replied in the same volume, only with a small smirk crossing his face. "So I brought it here to you before you go off melting over the water in some metal bird." Walter unhatched the side of the helicopter to reveal Odakira's coffin strapped down on the floor.[/color:37d2cdf0f7] The vampire gave the butler a pat on the back, "Thanks much, ol' man. I appreciate it." He said, then grasped the coffin with both his hands, then with a strong heave, the straps snapped and the coffin rested on Odakira's shoulder. "We should be back shortly, I just hope Sir Hellsing isn't willing to tear me a new one when I return." Walter gave out a chuckle, then returned to his seat in the chopper. It lifted off rather quickly, but before he shut his door, he hollered down to Odakira, "Don't plan on one! Plan on quite a few!"[/color:37d2cdf0f7] Odakira simply shook his head and grinned to himself. Turning around, he entered the hangar, then the cargo room of the jet once again. Placing his coffin on the floor, he used a few straps to hold his 'bed' steady for the ride. After doing so, he walked back into the seating aisle, and questioned aloud, "Is everyone ready?" |

Haha... dhampirs > vampires. <3 Moira bolted awake when the chopper showed up outside. "Huhwhatthefuck," she muttered, sitting up. She rubbed her eyes, wondering what was going on. She relaxed when she saw that it was Walter, delivering Odakira's coffin. Moira eyed the sandwich meat and laughed. "Gross. You want me to make something better?" She raised an eyebrow at Odakira's question. "I'm ready, and so is everyone else. But who's flying the plane? You've got to go be in your coffin while we're over water, right?" OOC:Moira is probably the most prepared, as a dhampir's specialty is fighting vampires! YA RLY
Sneak peek of when they get to Vienna~ Moira: WIENERSCHNITZEL HOMG  The Others: Wow. That was disturbing. |

As for my coffin, I'll be resting inside of it as soon as we are overseas... And out as soon as we aren't. Just knock." Odakira said quickly to answer Moira's questions. With a swift turnabout, the vampire told the pilots to take off as soon as they could. Turning around again to face everyone, he brought his hand up to press it against the roof of the seating compartment, then the announcement was made.
A small ping emitted from a speaker box above the cockpit's doorway, then the voice of the main pilot announced, "Everyone onboard, we are about to commence flight. Make sure you are strapped in safely."[/color:f1f3d53904] With this being said, the wheels of the landing-gear began to turn, and the aircraft moved slowly out of the hangar. Once clearing the hangar's bay, it made a wide slow turn to the runway. Outside of the plane, the sound of the jets began to roar as they came to life, which increased the speed of the aircraft. The jet rumbled and vibrated inside as the jet's velocity continued to increase. The vampire stood quite still in the jet, the only part of his persona moving was his long brown hair. Then, with that feeling in the gut that everyone felt inside, the jet lifted from the runway, and it's landing gear concealed itself in the bottom of the aircraft's body. With a fairly sharp lift, it almost felt as if the jet was heading stright up for a moment, but the vampire didn't budge. Once the jet straightened out, it was okay for everyone to move... almost. Slight turbulence shook the aircraft for a moment, then stopped suddenly. Now it was clear. Odakira allowed his hand to rest at his side once more, then spoke back to the pilots, "Let me know when we're almost over any body of water. Got it?" The pilot shouted back with a "Yes sir!", then all was well. The vampire turned back to everyone, and asked aloud, "Is everyone alright?" |

She nodded silently, and looked away. The professor was only scared to death, but she had to take her mind off. Her stomach felt tight and slightly nauseous.
I do need to catch up on my rest, she thought. She stayed buckled, and leaned back in her seat. Jo-jo rested his head in her lap and she rested her hand on his head, closed her eyes and tried to go to sleep. breathe in, breathe out... |

They were already in the air? He had hardly noticed at all. Then again, he was stuffing his face and few things came before stuffing his face. He didn't even use a seat belt, although there were deep marks in the seats where his fingers had taken hold.
Kyphus needed to focus. THey were heading towards death and ruin and there was no way around it now. At least they were all safe on the plane to the time being. but what would come to smack them all in the face once they reached Vienna? Kyphus had questions and questions need answers. Rather than dwell on the ghoulish negative of their mission, perhaps he could learn a little more about everyone, he decided as he sauntered down the aisle on all fours. Thinking of the right question to ask would be a lot easier if he didn't have a terrible headache; a strange happening since his body was meant to protect him from any damage or disease. It was probably nothing... [quote:b231b2f62c]If everyone's okay with this. I want to introduce a little enemy as part of Kyphus' backstory. Its a cheap knockoff of the Kyphus model, fully robotic and designed to kill the original Kyphus. I thought a battle on the plane would be fun (especially when the copy is controlled by your's truly) so if no one stops me, he's coming in on my next post[/quote:b231b2f62c] |

Mo, I 'll be expecting the right half of my brain back as soon as possible, if you don't mind terribly-- I'm not sure I've been functioning quite properly without it. ><
You'd better have taken darn good care of it while I was away. XD Riley watched Helen and her friends leave, saying nothing. There was nothing to say, after all-- 'Have fun' didn't seem to fit the circumstances entirely, and 'Try not to die' sounded a bit morbid. Still, he sort of hoped she'd do both. "You'll be takin' care of the bill, then?" asked Agnes, popping her gum loudly. Riley looked up, a little startled. "Oh, yes. Of course." He handed her a few bills, more than enough to cover the cost of his drink and Helen's, and left the bar without waiting for the change. Guess I should start on that book, then. OOC:Well, that was a bit of a pointless post. Oh well.
Mo, you said you had an idea as to how we could shove Riley into Vienna. Well, you're villain's been approved... now get Riley into Vienna! XD |

Chris, here's the right part of your brain back. ^^ now give me back my Hellsing manga. I’m suffering from withdraw!! D: Oh, and here's an evil minion, so Kaiser has someone to do his dirty work for him. Please give a warm welcome for Schrödinger’s twin sister!! XD Her name's Amara which means bitter, eternal, immortal, steadfast. She looks like Schrö except, she wears a skirt, and she's more girly. "Gute Nacht, Vater O'Leary," greeted a cheery voice. Amara seemed to have appeared by the priest out of no where. Her step had a little bounce as she walked easily next to Riley, and her cat ears perked up merrily. “Vhat iz a priest like you doing out here at zis time of night?” She turned to look up at Riley and smiled a bright white smile as her eyes glow an eerie green as the light reflected off of them. “Zhere are dangerous characters running about. Let’s get you out of the night chill.” A few ghouls leered as they began to stumble out of a nearby alley snarling. “I zink it vould be in your best interest, ja?”[/color:e4590e191f] OOC:May I have permission to knock out Riley if he puts up a fight? |

Upon reaching the room, he walked up to his coffin. Glancing over it to see it was in good condition, he opened it up to find a small surprise that Walter must've left him. Within lied a semi-automatic Dragunov SVD sniper rifle. Fully loaded with a clip of 7.62x54mmR Russian bullets. Quite powerful against both short range and long range oppositions. Next to the rifle was a metal box that contained 6 more clips of the ammunition need for the rifle.
"Beautiful." Odakira said to himself in a cheerful tone; a smile stretched upon his face. After strapping the rifle to his back, he closed the coffin, then sat on top of the lid. It was quiet, only the hum of the jet's roar seem to fill the compartment. 'This will probably be the last time in a long time for me to relax a little.' He thought to himself as he waited for the pilot's call. OOC:Crap post :( |

*evil grin* Who wants to see Riley shriek like a girl? *counts hands* Riley: I do not shriek like a girl. Ever.[/color:c7c9ca0e52] Yeah, whatever. We'll see. Riley froze the instant he heard the voice next to him. Goosebumps appeared on his skin. Probably just because of all he'd heard tonight, and he was probably just being ridiculous, but still... How the hell does she know my name? He turned his head ever so slightly, and was astonished to see the cat ears-- so astonished, in fact, that he didn't see the ghouls coming from the alley until they were nearly in front of him. He stumbled backwards, trying in vain to stay calm. The phrase "figments of my imagination" didn't seem to be able to filter through the veil of fear that had passed over his conscious thought. Why are they after me? was the first thing that crossed his mind, followed by a much simpler sentiment: Damn. The ghouls around him were closing in, forming a half-circle that was blocking him from his church, which was where he'd most like to be at the moment. The only opening he had lay behind him, back toward the pub, and was closing fast. Fight or flight? One look at the faces of the ghouls made the decision for him. Riley ran. |

Kyphus stopped and focused. He sensed something, a presence he had not felt since... Oh no. THis was bad. If he was quoting old movies, it was bad. If it gave him a splitting psi headache, it was bad. And there were very few things that irritated his sensibilities this much. System setting... location confirmed. Activation initialized. Tracking target. Target aquired. ONe thousand and eight different parameters rushed through the wiring of drone 811. Programming told it that it had orders to follow a specific target, that anything in its way should be exterminated, that its entire existence was to find and kill the intended target. Programming told it that it was very close to the target. 811 had spent days of operation tracking the target, learning his ways, studying his companions and preparing the perfectly computed ambush. Stealthily bent into a compacted form near the rear of the jet and hidden by heavy cloaking of sight and scent, it had bided its time. Now, it could kill them all without a problem. Now it could finally untangle itself. Moving as silently as possible, drone 811 creeped up the center aisle completely cloaked and running on killer instinct. If only it could dispel the slight depressions its hand and footprints made in the aisle carpeting.[/color:5ef52682c4] [quote:5ef52682c4]Here's the monster.
