Odakira's golden optics sharpened as he induced little of his vampiric powers into play. This time though, to woo Helen into a slumber. His eyes peered into her soul sharply once again, and could see the pain she was taking clearly. Sending a message throughout her mind that bounced and echoed, he told her in his charming tone, only to add on to the effect he meant to give.

'You need to retreat Helen...'

His words resided in her head like the reverb of a church bell ringing in the distance. Deep and intoxicating in it's tune as it plays it's melody. His wings found the moment to stop hacking away at the vampire's and loosely wrap around Helen's smaller figure. The silky touch gave a cold feeling to her, but comforting in it's wake as it concealed her in light as it fluttered lightly around her form. The vampires that lunged at the lady would simply crumble to dust as they came into contact with the light; falling into piles of their essence before the concealed woman.

Again his voice rang out in her mind as, but more commanding in tone as he gave her the oppurtune moment to make the decision. Which was more likely that she'll accept in the sleep-inducing environment that Odakira had set in her mind and body.

'Let me take you someplace safe...' The word 'safe' had emphasized the foreboding security in which he sent to her mind, but did not force her against her choice, as it slowly ended in a warm silence...

OOC: I'm going to automatically assume that Wolfgang was taken inside the hellsing manor. Dan or Kristin, lemme know if you want me to change anything...

'Er-Erika...'

Wolfgang shot up from what his slumber had brought him. He found himself on the hard surface of an elaborate desk, within a room filled of the warm orange glow of a fireplace. He shook his head, and ran his hand through his now messy hair. His keen vision had became blurred, probably an affect of coming out of the illusion, though he didn't have any knowledge of it. With a low tone, filled with concern, he asked himself, "Where am I...?" To this, he rolled off the desk and stood to his feet clumsily, his boots creating a somewhat loud clomp to the ground as he landed. He looked around and couldn't quite see all to well, but he knew his sight would return.

Suddenly, he remembered what happened, how Erika had left him, yearning for time to think. He then wondered if the Organization took hold of her or not. With a shout that seemed to traverse the entire foundation he yelled out in lamentation for his love, "Erika!! Where are you!?"[/color:dc117320fb]

Retreat? No... Helen's green eyes became wide as tried to break eye contact with Odakira when she felt him invade her mind once more. However, her efforts were futile, and she felt herself become lost in his words and gaze. Her eyes began to close, and her sword and cross slipped out of her hand and landed on the ground noisily.

Safe, She fell into a deep sleep despite the chaos around her, and her knees buckled causing her to fall forward.

Before the young girl could fall completely, her figure shone an immense light, and the wrapped wings about her made her form vanish in a display of white. As the wings revealed her gone, they began to tear away at the vampires once again.

"Shadows, Kyphus, lets end this nonsense..." Odakira said, a small commanding tone to his voice as he told them to do so.

As for Helen, her figure completed the fall upon the mattress of her bed in the Hellsing Manor. Where Odakira's voice echoed in her thoughts once more, 'Sleep well, young one...'

Kyphus rose off the the floor in a very "THe Mummy"-esque fashion several minutes after plowing through the wall. His spine was broken ever so slightly so he needed a little time to heal. And just in time, too, another creature was bearing down on his body.

Kyphus knew the thing was coming and thrust a bladed foot into its face, causing it to recoil in pain and a newfound sense of darkness. Then, Kyphus hopped to his feet as to assess his situation. Hmm, two vampires he knew. Funny, where was the woman?

"Hey, what happened to Helen?" Kyphus asked innocently before whipping about and fluidly decapitating another enemy from behind.

OOC: sorry martin, I should've posted sooner, but my plan was to take you back to your own mansion place-thing. So this should go right after kristin's last post

Mernov watched as the Nazi vampire fell forward and collapsed into a heap on the ground. A sinister grin crawled over his face as he allowed himself to accept his victory. He took one long stride and reached the Nazi and his weapon. Disregaurding the massive thing, he picked up he unconscious vampire without ceremony and without care. The man would not wake up for a good hour or so, at least, unless he were exposed to undue amounts of pain, such as being shot in the face or staked in the foot. The tall vampire wasted no time, for he detested carrying this enemy more he did the enemy himself. Hardly even a heartbeat passed after picking up the man before Mernov was enveloped in dark flames and disappeared. In a similar manner, he reappeared in what he assumed was the Nazi's office (as far as he could tell from the memories he'd glimpsed from Erika). He laid the unconscious vampire upon the large desk, before disappearing just as he'd appeared.

Miles away, Mernov appeared at Helen's school, which was quite overrun by ghouls and vampires alike. Not knowing the exact structural layout of the interior of the building, the tall vampire came to realize that he would have to get to the destination floor by old-fashioned means -- he would have to walk. This, of course, meant that he would have to walk through the hoards of undead. Though it did not appeal to him, this was the only choice. At any rate, it would be an effective way to get the job done. He slid his second weapon from its holster underneath his jacket against his back, then took his primary weapon from its holster at his side. He walked with an eerie calm through the throngs of vampires and ghouls, using the abnormally high-calibur bullets to great effect by destroying three or four that were in a line with one shot. He timed his shots expertly, so that he could continue to shoot with one hand, while the other reloaded, aided by a small bit of telekinesis. In this manner, he slowly made his way up the stairs, closer and closer to Shadows and the others; he quite literally "followed his nose," going towards where the scent of blood was the strongest.

In moments, he was there. In his wake lay scores of corpses, half demolished from the explosive qualities of Mernov's ammunition. These corpses were also caked with the dust from those that were completely gone. He sighted his old friend, as well as the strange beast and the newcomer. However, the girl, he sensed, was not present. In fact, felt her presence a rather large distance away; from the direction, he assumed she was back at Hellsing Manor.

"Great," the tall vampire said, his tone rich with annoyance. "I came all the way here and you already saved her? Why did you call, again?"

Walter was making his rounds, and he came to Helen’s room to make sure the maids did a satisfactory job of cleaning. Much to his surprise he found Helen sleeping on the bed, and he wondered when and why she returned. He noticed that she was bleeding on the clean bed covers, and shook his head and sighed.

“Hurt again, Miss Thames?” he asked the sleeping woman as he walked over to the bed, and then he turned her so she was lying on her back. His fingers deftly unbuttoned her blouse, and he used the scissors from the first-aid kit to cut the bloody wrappings off. She shuddered as the cool air hit her skin, but she did not awake. When the bandages were removed, the burned skin remained on the bandage causing the open wound to bleed more. He snatched some gauze and used it to apply pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding. After about fifteen minutes, the bleeding began to slow. He taped a few squares of gauze over the injury, and left the room, closing the door behind him.

A few minutes later, two maids came into the room quietly, and took Helen to the bathroom. They carefully cleaned her up and the wrapped a proper bandage around her midriff before slipping a silky, white, sleeveless nightgown over her head. They carried the woman back out to the bedroom where Walter had already replaced the bloody sheets with clean ones. They set her down gently on the bed, and the butler tucked her in. He then left the room with the maids tailing behind him, and Helen was left alone in her dreamless slumber.

Smacking away some of the remaining ghouls, he shot a look at Mernov.

"That would be caused by your lateness," he said, slightly annoyed as he vanquished two more ghouls and a vampire. "While you were busy toying with your Nazi friends, Odakira managed to pull her out. However, these...IDIOTS," he added extra emphasis to that word as his fist connected with another ghoul's face, "just don't seem to want to quit. There's still a handful left, I saved some fun for you, though you don't deserve it..." He left his knife buried in one vampire's chest as he dove for the black cloth on the ground and used it to reclaim his fallen cross.

"By the way, how are those little Nazi pal's of yours?" he asked, sliding his cross back into his sleeve.

Like a white tornado, Odakira's wings whipped around him in quite a large radius, slicing a hefty sum of the monstrousities at their guts, and as their entrails became dust to soon blow about him in a slow twister. The dust only remained about two feet from the ground as he did this.

He shot back a mischievious grin back at Mernov, nodding his head to one side as he spoke out in his light tone, being as respectful as he was, "Yes sir, as Shadows had said, Helen is safe now." Then with a light chuckle, his wings began to flow at his sides once again at norm, his floating figure then spun about to face Mernov and with a low bow of his head he added on to what he said, "Sorry for ruining your que, Mr. Super-Hero."

As his head rose, his golden occulars met with Mernov's with a gaze that simply shown accomplishment, that the enemy within this vicinity should quail no longer, and die out. As for Shadow asking of the Nazi's, Odakira simply tilted his head to one side and asked out of simple curiousity, "Yes, if we may ask, what happened?" To this, his left wing whipped about gracefully and decapitated an oncoming vampire minion at it's head, soon to fall into a pile of dust upon... well... A bigger pile of dust.

Mernov holstered his primary pistol at his side, keeping his other one in his left hand. This left arm hung loosely, as though completely ignorant of the heavy weapon which it held. He shook his head, dissappointed with the waste of effort on his part, but still somehow satisfied by the fruits of his labor. What irritation might have been left was mollified by the lingering sense of excitement that was brought by his earlier victory. The tall vampire now stood thus, looking with interest and confusion at the exceptionally bright-clothed vampire before him. He already had what he'd intended to say planned out in his mind the instant Shadows finished speaking, but now he found himself at a loss for words. Odakira's choice of nickname was rather confused and, to go a bit further, misplaced. Though he did fancy himself to be a vampire of no small amount of strength, he would never have considered himself a "super hero," and certainly would not have wished to be called one. In fact, he did not consider himself to be any sort of "hero," as most of his work dealt with death and decay.

"My 'queue,' you say?" the tall vampire asked, his tone of voice indicating that he was unsure how best to interpret Odakira's word choice. His face was as stone, stolid and blank. "And furthermore, you'll forgive me for not appreciating your humor, but don't call me 'super hero.' It's just not... me." He let a small smirk crawl across his face before he continued. "As for my 'Nazi pals,' let us just say they are decidedly out of commission. To keep them separate, I returned the boy to his graveyard and gave the girl a room in Hellsing." Mernov paused, allowing his words to reverberate off the walls and corpses. Deftly, he raised his weapon and aimed at an approaching ghoul somewhere behind him, and, without looking, turned the ghoul into dust.

"Now, Gentlemen," the tall vampire said, blowing the smoke from the barrel of his weapon, "you seem to have things covered, so I shall take my leave. Good day." With that, Mernov gave a rather ornate bow as he burst into dark flames and disappeared.

Once again in Hellsing Manor, Mernov moved swiftly through the shadows to the room Walter had found for Erika. As Jeanne was asleep and needed a few more hours' rest to continue training, or even to simply talk or something of the like, Mernov decided to check on the young Nazi. As he emerged from the shadows in the dimly-lit room, he heard sobs from somewhere near the bed. Though he felt greatly pleased by this proof of how effective his illusion was, his expression remained placid. His movement was eerie in its fluidness, his dark form seeming to split apart from the shadows, as though he were made of shadow itself.

"Why do you cry, my child?" the tall vampire asked in a rich, resonant tone. His words seemed to be neutral in emotion, and yet the phrasing seemed to lend a vague sense of paternal warmth to it. However, this warmth was hardly noticable, and was probably only a subtle way of conditioning her to the idea that he wasn't dead, despite the contents of her illusion.

Erika gasped, startled to hear Mernov's deep, resonant voice break the silence of her present 'home'. She hiccuped, turning to face the vampire, tears in her eyes. "Why do you think?!" she shouted, her voice weak and breaking randomly throughout her sentence. Turning her body to face him, she put her elbows on her knees, and her face in her hands, which were stained with crimson tears. "He didn't care at all.. everything was just a lie, an illusion.." As she recalled these memories herself, she began to sob almost uncontrollably, crying out and groaning in sorrow.

"And...", she hiccuped, looking up to the vampire again as she wiped her eyes, "it's all my fault anyway. If I hadn't been so easily swayed by you.. we would still be... Wolfgang and I would be..." Erika trailed off, looking down at the floor in the corner of the room. [/color:852965f4ab]

Wolfgang's sight finally returned after have rubbed them with the collar of his jacket for a few minutes. Now being able to keenly view his office, he shunned himself for allowing himself to fall weak for whatever put him in that slumber. After a moment, he shook the burden off and set his thoughts to Erika. She didn't seem to be near, but he could feel where she was. With a low groan, the tall Nazi swiftly slammed his fist into a wall beside him, creating a large crack that ran up the wooden wall's surface. Followed by a loud audible display of his vocals, he screamed in a dissonant tone, regretting the fact of where his love lied.

"Damn! Sie ist im Hellsing!"

Letting out a large breath of air, like a bull about to charge it's target, Wolfgang slowly calmed himself. He could only reach the young girl one way; as any master vampire could their apprentice.

"Erika? Are you okay...? Have any of those scum done anything to you?" Leaving the message short, he didn't want to babble of what happened last night, for he knew he would end up bringing his thoughts and words in the circles of lamentation he did out of habit. That, and he wanted to give her the room she wanted, after what 'she' had done and said last night, he couldn't bear no more of allowing her the benefit of anger to his words.[/color:a0d43707fb]

Odakira seemed surprised to Mernov's monotonous display in vocals, almost as if there was a soft-side to whatever wall of stone he placed in his mentality. He was somewhat more surprised as to why he decided to let Erika stay in the Hellsing foundation. Though it wasn't his authority to question a superior; he couldn't help but guess why the man would do such a thing. After all, he did have Jeanne...

Odakira shook his head to the madness that seemed to bloom from the subject, and brought his senses to an oncoming vampire, who managed to slip through the deadliness of his wings. With a simple flick of his wrists, the bright vampire shot out a bolt of lightning from the palm of his hand, which decimated the vampire foe in a display of a misty dust.

Everyone had left leaving Kyphus and a number of corpses behind. Kyphus took in the sounds of his surroundings. Nothing alive, but then, they were never alive to begin with. Shuffling through the dust, an Idea sprang to mind. The Italians still wanted that vampires head? Kyphus picked up one of his old kills, a vampire he had literally torn in half and quickly lopped off its head. Then, taking a thick cloth from the victim's clothes, he wrapped the grizzly trophy with care. Kyphus grinned in all his inhuman charm; one head ready for delivery.

Kyphus turned to exit the ruined school through the hole he had created earlier. He had to get back to Italy, everything depended on it. Kyphus only hoped the Italians would take the bait and fulfill their half of the bargain. Chances like this came once in a lifetime and Kyphus had already gone through three, he did not feel like waiting any longer to be restored.

Shadows snorted as Mernov left.

"I knew it wouldn't be worth saving you a kill..." he muttered, flicking his wrist and throwing his other dagger at a vampire who had been crawing for the door. It thudded into the floor next to his head, and he paused to look at it. He shouldn't have.

Shadows shot forward and stepped on the vampire's back, and then grabbed a handful of it's hair and pulled.

"And what do we have here?" Shadows mused. The last vampire snarled.

"Now, now, this is not a time to be nasty. Just answer my questions, and I'll speed you out of here."

"Fine." it said, glaring daggers at Shadows.

"Good. What is your organization called?"

"W-what? I can't tell you that, they'd kill me!" Shadows rolled his eyes and slid the cross out of his sleeve.

"And I won't?" he said, flicking his wrist to displace some of the cloth covering the silver holy item. He moved it fairly close to the vampire's face.

"We are of the guild of Talona!" it screamed swiftly.

"Cowardly and stupid..." Shadows muttered. "Thank you." He did not release the vampire.

"Um...You said you'd speed me out of here?" it asked hopefully. In response, Shadows released the grip on it's hair and grabbed it's collar instead. With a mighty heave, he threw it out the window.

"And so I did." he said, retrieving his knife and covering his cross.

"Let's go." he said to Odakira and Kyphus. "They are gone."

Odakira gave a nod to Shadows words. As soon as his head rose, his wings had shattered and dispersed into the air; the radiance of it's presence simply vanished. He turned and gazed amongst the many piles of dusty grains, the air thick of it as a cool wind blew in from the outside through the broken windows. His golden optics narrowed slightly to the sight of red and blue flashing lights emitting over a hill.

It was obvious that their work here was done. Odakira clapped his hands together and became engulfed in a white flame. It roared like a waterfall almost as it came to be, only to vanish without trace of the flame or the white vampire.

Within Helen's room, the bright figure of Odakira reappeared. His tall form stood beside her bed as his arms remained crossed amongst his chest; his eyes studying that her bandages had been renewed.

'Thank goodness for Walter...' He thought to himself with a chuckle in the back of his mind.

He remained silent and still as he watched over the lady like the 'Guardian Angel' she would pray for. Other than it being his oath to keep humanity safe, he deemed it necessary to keep watch over them as well. Not to mention the many attacks the lady had came under these two nights.

'What is so important about this girl, other than the fact she is a virgin...?'

Helen felt she was being watched, even from the depths of her mind, she could feel someone's piercing gaze. Her eyes fluttered open, and she yawned and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. It was completely dark in the room because the heavy curtains had been drawn, but she knew someone was in the room with her; she could feel it.

"Odakira?" Helen spoke ot into the darkness. "What happened at the school?" She tried to sit up, but gave up, her body felt like a giant bruise so she lied still on the bed.
