She stood at the window and watched the sun rise; she couldn’t remember a lovelier one. The tomes she had been reading often referred to vampires as “Children of the Night,” within that moment Helen realized that they were more like prisoners. After the sun finished rising, she turned away and left the library with Jo-jo at her heels. “Ok,” she muttered as she wandered around the mansion with a few of the books she had been reading. “How do I get out of here?”
“Ah, I see you’ve returned,” said a crisp voice behind her causing Helen to whip around to discover the source. She winced a little from the pain; it still hurt to move too suddenly. A sigh of relief escaped her lips when she saw a man, a human man, had spoken to her. He was the first human she had seen for over twenty-four hours. “My name is Walter; I am the butler here at the manor. May I help, Miss…?” “Helen Thames,” she smiled slightly. “Um… do you think you could show me to the exit?” “Thames,” Walter paused as if the name was familiar and smiled. “Ah, yes, Shadow’s charge…” What is he talking about? Helen thought. “Well,” the butler continued. “We can’t have you running around London in just your night clothes, and you will want to clean up and eat a bit of something.” Before Helen knew what was happening she found herself back in the bedroom from earlier. He showed her the bathroom, and assured her he would return with clean clothes and food. The professor blinked, shook her head, and sighed as she looked around the spotless bathroom. She removed her tattered pajamas and undergarments. It was obvious she couldn’t bathe with the bandages around her stomach. After a moment of thought she grabbed a wash cloth, filled the sink with soapy water, and scrubbed her body. Then she proceeded to wash her hair in the sink, and then brushed it. She wrapped the towel around her petite form, and peeked out of her room. A delicious aroma filled the room, and Helen stepped out of the bathroom timidly. A smile lit up her eyes when she saw the hot eggs, toast, bacon and orange juice waiting for her on a little desk in the corner. Jo-jo was munching happily on dry dog food in the corner. Her stomach growled angrily, and Helen realized how hungry she was. She sat down and ate eagerly, relishing each bite. She also read one of the books from the lbrary as she ate. After her plate was cleared and the glass was empty, she turned her attention to the clothes that were neatly folded at the foot of her bed. She slipped into the white blouse, the black knee-length skirt and simple black slip on shoes. Someone knocked at the door, and Helen opened it and smiled at the old butler. He bowed his head and looked her up and down with a satisfied smile on his face. “The clothes fit then?” Helen nodded. “Excellent! Is there anything else I can do?” “Thank you, but you’ve done so much, everyone here has,” she said. “I’ve trespassed on you hospitality for too long. Please just show me to the nearest exit, and I’ll be on my way.” The butler nodded and showed her to the door. She waved good bye and walked out of the manor and past the gates with Jo-jo trailing behind. She closed her eyes and allowed the sun’s morning rays to warm her face. It felt wonderful, and she couldn’t imagine a life without it. She hailed a Taxi and went back to her flat. She planned to continue living her life as if the past two nights never happened. Everything would go back to normal, so she hoped. As the taxi pulled up to her flat, Helen’s mouth dropped open. Her street was lined with police cars and ambulances, and police were coming in and out of her house. She stumbled out of the taxi and up the steps, but an officer stopped her. “I’m sorry,” He said gruffly. “You can’t go in.” “B-b-but I live here,” Helen stuttered. “What happened?” “Dr. Thames?” the officer asked, he sounded surprised. “You’re alive? That’s good news. You’re a lucky one. Stay here, I’ll get a detective.” He turned on his heel and left her on the steps. Helen walked through the front door, except the door wasn’t there anymore; it looked like it had been ripped off it hinges. She gasped, covered her mouth with her hands and sank to her knees as her eyes swept around the tiny flat. It looked as though several hurricanes got trapped in her tiny house. Everything was ripped a part and strewn throughout the place. Pages of her books, glass, torn pictures, and scraps of shredded clothing and fabric littered her floor. Furniture was overturned and looked as if it had been thrown against the wall. The vampires must've followed her scent to her flat last night. A heavy hand rested on her shoulder, and Helen glanced to see an official looking man with an imposing mustache. “Dr. Thames,” he said coldly. “This is a crime scene. You can’t be here until we finished.” He helped her up, and took her outside. The taxi had disappeared, but Helen didn’t notice. She looked around the houses around her. The windows were broken, and police were coming in and out of those as well. “I’m Detective Orcot. I need to ask you a few questions,” the detective told her as he led her over to a quiet staircase, and sat her down. “Were you attacked?” he asked gravely, and he motioned to her cheek. Though the swelling was gone, a dark mark still covered a good portion of her face. “No,” she said simply. “I fell.” “You weren’t at work yesterday. Where were you?” he continued. “I went to visit a friend,” she lied almost unintentionally; the words just tumbled out of her mouth. “He fell very ill quite suddenly.” “And you didn’t think to call anyone?” his eyes narrowed, and his mustache twitched. She knew that he knew that she was lying. Lying was never her forte. “No,” she answered lamely. “Do you realize that out of the six homes attacked last night, you are the only survivor?” he asked coldly. “Attacked? By who?” Helen looked up at him. She already had a pretty good idea what it was. She remembered how her neighbor, Ms. Teabing, had had her grandchildren visiting. “I was hoping you could answer that,” said Orcot. “Do you have any ideas?” Yeah, she thought to herself. Vampires… However, she answered his question with another, “No.” “Dr. Thames, I think we may need to go downtown for more questioning,” he sighed. “What?” Helen frowned. “You don’t think I had anything to do with this do you?” She looked at his expression. “You do… don’t you?” “Of course not,” he told her unconvincingly. “I just-“ “Detective,” Helen stood up quickly. “I’m sorry, but I have to go to work.” “Do you have a place to stay? I could arrange for a hotel room-“ "Yes,” she interrupted. “I have a place to stay.” What else are classrooms for? she asked herself. “Well then,” he called after her as she walked away. “I’ll call you. And don’t leave town!” Helen rolled her eyes and hailed another taxi to take her to the college she worked at. ** The Headmaster seemed to believe her story about her ill friend, but Helen wasn’t sure. She hated lying, but who would believe that she was attacked by vampires? No one. Helen ended up turning off her cell phone, and disconnecting the phone in the class room because Orcot kept calling her and trying to find out where she had disappeared to the other day. She taught her classes during the day and read up on vampires whenever she had free time. She dropped off her umbrella off with a good friend who was a wizard when it came to swords. She told him that she had dropped it, and he chastised her for being careless. He agreed to replace the blade and dropped it off at her class room before her night class started. OOC:OK, that was long!! Don’t rush any of the stuff you other guys are doing, I just wanted to post once and get her day over with, since I can’t really interact with any of the other characters during the day. I won’t post again ”˜til you guys are ready. |

"I know I'll never forget how long it took me to pick an outfit out for that day!" she said, giggling as she turned herself so that her legs hung off the edge of the desk. "My mother mocked me for being so fickle, but was happy that I was dating you.. now that you were a SS soldier, of course..." Erika's hands fell from the locket to rest on the edges of the desk as she swung her legs to and fro slowly.
"It must have taken me an hour and a half until I was finally able to pick a dress. I wore that grey-blue dress, remember? With the ruffled shirt underneath..." She had a warm smile on her face, appearing to be truely happy as she brought the past out from the back of her mind. "I think.. I was so caught up in picking out what to wear that I was almost late for our meeting underneath the tree!" she said, chuckling. "But you let it slide; how could you be mad at me? And then.." she said, closing her eyes as she raised her left hand to hold the locket in her hand. "You gave me this. I was so happy... Upset, because I could tell it probably cost you your entire month's pay, but happy that you had thought enough of me to spend it on me." Erika raised her head and returned her left hand to its previous place at the edge of the desk, sighing happily.[/color:f65b7736f6] |

He looked inside. He saw...a gun? It was quite a large one, too. The male vampire, Wolfgang, had pulled it out and dusted his entire vampire corps in one shot. Shadows realized it was for them. But even this "great" vampire could not go out in the day, and had to rest. Shadows knew he should too, so after he saw the Nazi's conk out for the, er..."evening," he moved his sight to Hellsing Manor, where he scryed out the others. Odakira had been treating Helen's wounds, which Shadows was pleased to see that his charge had not suffered permanent damage from the sadistic nazi's. He then shifted his gaze to Jeanne and Mernov. He saw her deny the blood and then saw Mernov whip out his winebottle.
"Dear god..." he muttered noiselessly. Mernov was a sneaky vampire, he enjoyed making little games like this. He turned his vision away to Kyphus behind him, and saw him begin to stir. He pulled himself from his trance and walked through the broken doorway. "I want that door fixed, you know..." said the doctor in charge. Shadows just looked at him like he was an idiot. The doctor shut his mouth and looked away. Shadows walked over to Kyphus' limp form. "How ya feeling, you pile of scrap metal?" he asked cheerfully. |

He brought his nose to her own, and nuzzled grazingly against it playfully. Speaking out in a warm and happy tone,
"That dress was so beautiful, you looked like an Engel." As his words fluantly escaped his mouth, he cocked his head over to one side, almost giving a playful look of in his crimson eyes. He took in a small breath to speak out in his normal tone of voice. "Indeed, it did cost me quite a bit of pay, but I was able to live out the rest of my pay before I had to leave." Slowly leaning forward, he lightly kissed her cheek, and exclaimed to her, "Besides, you are my Engel..."[/color:7c8bfa0afa] OOC:Engel=Angel |

Kyphus propped himself up. One of his arms was not functioning, most likely the one that had been yanked out of its socket by a Nazi. He had bullets in his body, but those would soon be absorbed by his body to help with repairs to his hide. And his stomach! Kyphus realized he had not eaten in days, even though food was not exactly a must. "Doctor! Help me to my feet!" yelled Kyphus. The doctor gave him a wary look; he did not want anything to do with the beast. "You do not look well enough to move, in my professional opinion" "Screw your opinion. Heck, I'm a doctor, I say that I walk," Kyphus snapped. "Shadows, give me a hand here? I've got to get some food. You do have food around here, right?" |

For a few minutes she sat there, savoring the embrace before she slowly let go, looking up at Wolfgang with her crimson eyes. She then laid her head upon his shoulder, breathing in quietly before she spoke again. "I'll always remember how worried I was when you'd have to leave on different missions with the Waffen-SS.. I was always so scared that I'd never see you again." she said, putting one of her hands on his chest, and the other on the edge of the table. "But when you'd send me a letter from where you were stationed at the time, it made me so happy; to know that you were safe... I kept hoping for the war to end, and for all of Germany's soliders to come home triumphant.. but still your letters would come, telling me things that signaled no quick end to the war."
Erika paused for a moment, and then looked up at Wolfgang once more. "You know, I still have every letter that you sent me.. photos, letters, and even some of the medals you recieved; I have them all at my home in Berlin.." she finished with a smile. [/color:e8a72f9d3e] |

Though, in the back of his mind, he knew for a fact that Erika would not let go of one thing that she recieved from him. Bringing up his hand from around her up to her hand that she placed so fragiley upon his chest, his lips curved to widen his smile more.
"Why am I not suprised?" He spoke out warmly and sarcastically. Being playful with the motion of his hand as he delicately rub her own with the tips of his fingers. Soon to let a small sigh escape his domain, his gaze lowered somewhat as he spoke out in a more weary voice, "I wish we could go back home together..."[/color:17c30fb266] Odakira stood abruptly from his table, sensing that Helen had finally left the mansion. He lowered his eyes to the table's wooden surface as he thought to himself for a moment. He shook is head suddenly and turned to his coffin/bed, jumping nimbly within it's comfort. He laid back, and his pupil's grew as the darkness began to shroud him. Suddenly, the lid stopped. Odakira sensed another presence. He glanced down to see a white-gloved hand had stopped the lid's movement. After a small moment, the lid arose again, and Odakira sat up. He locked his eyes onto a figure of a woman in a jade green business suit, crosses decorated her tie and buttons amongst her clothing. It was Integra. The white vampire lunged out of the coffin to stand straight up beside her, facing her with the top of his brown haired head. Speaking out in a determined tone, and respectably to her. "Integra, I deeply apologize for my absence and not have been in contact with you since my arrival. I did however was able to identif---" Integra interrupted with her rich tone, slightly louder and above Odakira's voice, "There is no need for apologies, Whitewing, but a need for answers." Reaching into her breast pocket, she removed a tin container, and opened it with ease to expose expensive vintage cigars. Removing one from it's container, she placed it in her mouth delicately, speaking out again as she returned the container to it's rightful pocket. "Other than who we are dealing with, I would like an explanation of the what all happened in the meantime." Odakira bowed his head slighty more, then rose to explain the story to her. It was a long talk, and Integra didn't move as well as he did. Conversing through the day as time seem to fly by. At the end of it all, Odakira lowered his head once again at the finish of his story. "I am quite aggrivated when it comes to tardiness..." She said, almost in a low growl to the words of Odakira's story. "Don't allow it to happen, or I shall have you sent back to your Order. Am I clear Whitewing?" "Understood..." He spoke out, belittled from the lashing he received from her small exclamation and command. He then turned and hopped back into his coffin/bed, the lid closing upon his bright figure as Integra's form left the room. Enveloped in complete darkness, he thought about Helen once more. He finally came to grasp an answer in some unknown way of thoughts within his epitome, but he would ask of Helen... Rest... now... |

She smiled warmly, leaning forward slowly as she wrapped one arm around his shoulders, nuzzling him with her cheek. "Now, now, Mein Herr.. That isn't the same Schutzstaffel soldier that I remember!" she said cheerfully. Still swinging her legs to and fro as she sat on the desk, she looked up at the ceiling. "We could go home now, you know. There's nothing saying we can't go back to HQ in Berlin.." she said, playing with one of the buttons on Wolfgang's shirt.
"Herr Major did say we could use a vacation.. We could go back to the tree, and just relax; wouldn't that be nice? We could walk around the city, go shopping, have lunch.. it'd be fun!" Erika was sure that they wouldn't be able to do such things, not now. But there was always a glimmer of hope that she held on to, praying that someday they would be able to have this vacation and go back to the way things used to be. "I wish we could sit underneath that tree, just one last time." she mumbled, looking down at the ground, her golden strands of hair falling over her delicate face.[/color:a698835bd0] |

When she began to list off the many things they could do, he couldn't do anything but smile warmly to her. It reminded him of the past, and how they would run amuck from shops to restaurants. Speaking out in a light-hearted tone,
"It would be so wonderful if we could..." But... Something in the back of Wolfgang's mind made him doubt that they would. The affliction of Mernov was still inside his love's embodiment. Though it may of seen to have died down, he knew it was still there. Even if it were to free her, he was still going to allow Mernov to get a piece of his mind. After all, the guts and the nerve he had to do such a thing to one he loved so greatly. Wolfgang remembered that the dishonorable vampire had an apprentice as well. A woman too. If he were to allow Mernov a taste of his own medicine, he would surely-- No! He couldn't allow himself to disgrace his love in such a way, nor stoop down to such a level. Yes, vampires are supposed to be "evil" or "creatures of the night", and the only reason why is because vampires such as Mernov who let the power act as a high to themself, that all vampires are labeled as such. He was a pity of an excuse for a vampire, and Wolfgang was going to stop him. Throughout all his thoughts, Wolfgang seemed to be within a trance in his facial complexions. Motionless as well with his eyes fading out into nothingness...[/color:94855e5576] Night had finally arrived, and Odakira's optics had opened. He knew what he must do. The lid of his coffin/bed arose, and he lunged out of it's midst once again. Landing with a light thud as his boots came upon the ground's marble surface. He turned and traversed the room out of the door. He came to the front room that they had all met up in during his first night. His eyes flowed from left to right to make sure his form wasn't seen, or sensed. As he opened the wooden doors of the entrance, his took off into a dead sprint. As he come to the stairs leading down, he lunged off the very top of them. His form emitted it's usually white-light as his figure twisted and distorted into a raven once again. Giving a few flaps of it's feathery appex, it soared through the night sky at a supersonic speed. Following his senses that he had gained during the small mind-taps with his eyes that he had given Helen, she had became a very easy target to find. Within an instant, his figure became human again, sitting on top of the school building in which Helen had resided. His eye's were locked upon the full-moon that held in the night sky. "I wonder what she'll say...? After all, I could tell she seemed somewhat intimedated by my actions." Odakira randomly thought to himself. He knew what actions he must take, and how procisely to do it. He didn't want to scare her, nor force her into a corner. He believed that a good apprentice should be picked out from a free-willing decision or action. Not through simple 'yes' or 'no's. He looked down below as he heard the bell ring for the students to be dismissed. His white coak flowed out into the night's wind as none of the student's noticed his bright figure atop the building, waiting for Helen to walk out at any moment. |

He had a strange feeling wash over him, one which he identified as being decidedly paternal, and felt almost "proud" of the girl before him. She had indeed learned and done a lot in just the short time of two days. Her skills with a pistol and a rifle were now easily better than any human that worked for Hellsing, and could only improve through experience. She had even tasted blood, given an idea what it truely means to be a vampire. He put his strong hand upon her head and tousled her hair affectionately, then ran the same hand back through it to smooth it out again. Without speaking, he lifted her from her seat, and set her into the coffin.
"Nonsense," Mernov said steadily, his rich voice softened so as to allow her mind to continue to relax into a restful state of sleep. She certainly needed it. "You have done well, my dear. For now, rest." The lid closed slowly as he looked upon her with a warm, pleasant look upon his face. He seemed to float backwards with the closing lid, so that he could be visible until the last moment when the wooden top finally closed, shutting out all light. He tapped the top of the coffin lightly, as though saying a silent "good night," then turned upon his heel to walk out the door. Once he stepped outside, he saw Walter's neat self, standing still as he waited patiently. Mernov knew he was there, of coruse, for he sensed him the moment he began to walk towards the room. They exchanged nods, understanding each other's reasons perfectly. Mernov grabbed the edge of his cloak as he prepared to vanish, and Walter spoke quickly as the tall vampire began to envelop himself. "I shall have it ready tomorrow night, Sir," Walter said politely. "Just Mernov, Walter," replied Mernov's now disembodied voice. "You should know that by now." Walter merely smiled at the spot where Mernov had just stood, then continued on his way. That instant, Mernov appeared in the middle of Sir Integra's office. She was sitting in her high-backed chair, smoking a fine cigar. "Is there something about you high-class vampires that you simply cannot use the door?" Integra asked annoyedly, puffing out a ball of smoke. "Alucard does it too, and it's starting to get on my nerves." Mernov merely inclined his head slightly, his toothy grin once more upon his face. "Respectfully," Mernov said at length, "I am on vacation. Would you kindly explain why I am here?" Integra nodded with a sigh, offering Mernov a cigar from her box. The tall vampire took it, and ignited it with a flourish of his hand, placing it in his mouth gracefully. "Granted, you are on vacation, but am I correct in saying that you flirted with an enemy?" She asked inquisitively, her tone reflecting annoyance. "You do have a female charge of your own, you know. I would not be pleased to allow you a second, and I'm sure there are many people in this manor who would be upset with me if I did." Mernov allowed a mirthless laugh to escape, removing the cigar from his mouth and holding it in his hand. "Simply... opening some eyes, m'lady," Mernov said with a, perhaps, overly ornate bow for the situation. "You know me." "Yes, yes I do," Sir Integra said, almost regretfully. "That's what scares me. Now, while I trust the Order and its men, I tend to trust mine better. Would you mind confirming our friend Odakira's explanation of the night?" Mernov nodded and smiled, inclining his head slightly. "I would be delighted." After a short time Mernov finished his recount of the vents, which matched up well enough with Odakira's. With that, he politely bowed himself out, quite literally, as he disappeared as he reached the deepest part of his bow. He reappeared once again in his quarters, where he took one last puff from the cigar and extinguished it, lying down in his own coffin to rest for the night. Oh, I bet Walter will be furious with me for having that in here, Mernov mused. |

"Wolfgang?" she said, shaking him until he came to. Seeing that Wolfgang appeared to be slightly forlorn, she thought for a moment, and turned around. "I'll be right back, Wolfgang.." she said, opening the door and running out for a moment. In the room adjacent to Wolfgang's the sounds of things hitting the ground, things being stacked and moved about were audible. After several minutes, Erika's slender form reappeared at the door. She smiled, holding a shoebox in her hands. Shutting the door behind her with the heel of her foot, Erika grinned and trotted over to stand by Wolfgang at the desk.
As the Nazi sat the box down on the desk, she looked up and grinned at Wolfgang, holding one of his hands and gesturing with the other towards the box. "Open it.. I'm sure these will cheer you up." she said, watching Wolfgang's expression. "I've saved every photo I've managed to find.. from when we were kids, up until when we became what we are now.." she whispered, rubbing her cheek against his affectionately. He nodded his head to her, letting her know that 'he was there'. Wolfgang's left eyebrow cocked up as he watched Erika's figure disappear from the room. Soon to hear the sounds of many things being thrown about at random.
'She must be losing it, or she will hurt herself...' He thought to himself, bringing up one of his hands to remove some traces of his golden hair that fell over his eye. He was relieved to see Erika's presence reappear at the door, and unchathed from the ruckus she made. Letting a low chuckle escape his domain, but stopped abruptly to notice an old shoebox within Erika's grasp. He studied the box somewhat with a simple twist of his neck, tilting his head to one side. Hearing what Erika had just said, this made him very happy. Finally, a moment where they could look upon their past, and not recollect memories from a century ago. This would definitely help stir old memories back into their minds. "Hmm..." A playful smile came to his face, and he gave off a childish look to Erika. He instantly grabbed the box in one hand, he walked beside Erika and took her hand delicately into his free one. Walking her over to one of the chairs that sat at the front of his desk, slumping himself down into one. He tugged lightly at her hand, allowing her to lay back upon his lap like they had done earlier on last night. Placing the shoebox lightly onto her stomach, he removed the lid and set it down beside the chair, on the ground. The first two pictures that sat on top of the pile were their military pictures. Wolfgang, and his stuck-up frown upon his facial complexions, letting out a laugh as he laid his eyes on it. Spurting out in a laughing matter, "I had quite the 'image' back then, eh?" Allowing a chuckle to end off his words. Holding out the picture to allow Erika to gaze or take it from his grasp, Wolfgang studied Erika's military photo. She, too, had somewhat of a flat expression amongst her face, but she was indeed beautiful. Her silky blonde hair, her soft skin, every detail Wolfgang saw, he remembered when they were together long ago. Letting out a comment in a small whisper as he turned to gaze down upon Erika. "You are as beautiful as you were then..." Smiling warmly at the finish of his sentence. [/color:6f9340dfb8] |

As he spoke she took the picture and scanned it, feeling a slight warmth inside as she too remembered when that photo had been taken so long ago. The Nazi looked at the corresponding photo of herself from years ago when she had first joined the SS, and frowned slightly, but smiled at Wolfgang's compliment. She leaned forward and rubbed her cheek against his, whispering 'Danke' in his ear softly.
Setting those two photos aside, she plucked out the next picture that resided in the box. Another warm feeling washed over her as she took in the contents of the photo, smiling warmly as she handed it to Wolfgang. It was a photo of Erika from when she was around seventeen years old. "Mother took this..." she said, quietly, almost in awe that she had seen the picture. In the photo, Erika was sitting in a window seat, her elbow sitting upon the sill, and her cheek cupped in her hand as she seemed to gaze out the window longingly. Rain was falling outside the window, and the dim light in the room seemed to have cast a halo over her head. Erika was wearing that same blue dress, and it rippled over the curves on her body and fell off of the seat as she sat with her knees at her breast. She was quiet for a moment before she was able to speak again, handing the photo to Wolfgang. "That's... a photo of me from when you were stationed at Auschwitz.." she said quietly. Erika pointed to the black necktie that she had been wearing in her hair. "There's your tie, the one you had worn when you were in the Hitler Youth. I always wore it when you were gone, just as a reminder." Erika finished, smiling as she put her head on his shoulder, nuzzling it gently as she watched him look the photo over.[/color:a3b4506a41] |

He seemed to space out upon the expression amongst Erika's facial complexions within the picture. She was more than a friend, but loyal and ever-so faithful...
When she point out the hair-tie, he smiled warmly and nuzzled back at her lightly, "Yes, you'd never remove that from your hair either." Letting out another low chuckle, then continued, "You were so afraid of losing it, that you'd fight with yourself before you'd take a shower on whether or not to remove it!" He then busted into another fit of laughter. This was about the most fun that Wolfgang had had in the time he joined the SS being with Erika. Though, he still cherished the moment they had finally admitted love to one another. She indeed was the perfect one...[/color:302d9b3186] |

I did take it out you know... but I had to keep checking every few seconds to make sure it was still there!!", she said, slowly raising her hand and running her fingertips over it. "I still wear it to this day." Erika smiled, lifting the tie she wore slightly. "The higher ranked officers couldn't tell the difference, so I was fine." she said, picking out a few more photos. She chuckled, embarassed at all the photos she had of herself that her mother had taken.
Erika handed them to Wolfgang as she filed through them, describing them briefly. There was a photo of her writing a letter, one of her hands used for writing, the other used to delicately brush back a few strands of stray hair. Another photo showed Erika walking her pet German shepard, Hans. Erika laughed as she handed him the photo, smiling. "Hans was such a wonderful dog; I'll miss him." After the slew of photos of Erika, the next photo she picked up was one of her and Wolfgang underneath the tree; their tree. Erika forgot who the photographer had been, perhaps Odakira, when they were still friends. In the picture, Erika was resting her head on his shoulder, her arms wrapped loosely about his arm as she slept. Wolfgang was awake, however, glancing at the photo and smiling as he rested his head on hers. Erika smiled. "This must be from the day before you left for your first mission.." she said, noting that his SS uniform had not been adorned with multiple medals yet. She handed him the photo and smiled, putting her hands down to let Wolfgang shuffle through a few of the photos himself.[/color:6f6e92d2fc] |
