Shadows had finally thrown the last of his Nazi attackers off when he saw Mernov grinning at him. The last time he'd seen that grin, Shadows had been surrounded by around 15 English policemen as Mernov disappeared. "Oh, you wouldn't..." he muttered. But he did. Mernov had vanished. "Well, time to carry on..." he was about to attack a group of nazi's when he saw Kyphus. Kyphus had planted himself in the ground, and had his mouth wide open. Shadows knew what was coming. "CHARON!" he yelled. "Begone! Return to your plane!" The tiger growled, but dissolved into black mist as the sonic cannon fired. Shadows barely made it out of the way in time. With his exceptionial hearing, he managed to hear the word "Fifty" come from Kyphus' mouth. Shadows grinned, but the smile died upon his face when he saw Kyphus fall over and partially fall apart. "Damn!" He made his way over to the dark machine and put his hand on one mechanical shoulder. Lowering his head, he began to dissolve into mist, taking the form with him. "Lets get you the hell away from this foul mansion." he said as he disappeared. Reappearing at Hellsing Manor, he became a corporeal shape again near the medical wing. He kicked the door in, but of course, it flew into the far wall, leaving a small crater. "Can I help...what the hell is that thing?" the medic said upon seeing Kyphus. "Someone you're going to make sure does not die, got it?" Shadows responded, placing him on the floor next to a cot, figuring the metal infused in the dark machine would bend and break the puny cot. He then turned and left the room, but had no idea what he was going to do. He sat down next to the door and entered a meditative trance. |

He doubted that there were many who willingly took blood the first time they were offered it. Retracting his hand, Mernov placed the packet of medicinal blood thoughtfully somewhere within the recesses of his coat. When his hand return, in the packet's stead was a wine bottle, which he spun in the palm of his hand as he pulled it out. He flicked his free hand outwards, and, seemingly from nowhere produced a tall, slender wineglass. He smiled to himself, thinking that he should have, perhaps, become a magician -- his sleight of hand was quite impressive. With his sharp canines, the tall vampire removed the cork from the bottle, licking it thoughtfully. The smell was almost intoxicating. He poured a small sample of the rich, red liquid into the glass. It seemed slightly familiar, and yet in this new environment it was also quite exotic and new. He offered this gingerly to the girl before him, an encouraging smile upon his face as the cork stuck out between this teeth.
"Is this better, my dear?" Mernov asked slyly. He wondered if she would drink it and, if she did, whether or not she would care that it was not really wine. |

She held the glass up to her lips and hesitated for a moment. Nervously she eyed the crimson liquid before taking a deep breath and swallowing the contents of the glass. As soon as the liquid has passed over her tongue and down her throat, the pupils of her eyes shrank and formed what seemed like a vertical line down her eye. She dropped the glass and put her hand on her throat, her tongue falling from her mouth as the glass shattered on the stone floor.
Jeanne doubled over, gripping the cushions of her coffin until her knuckles turned white. There was an almost frightening gleam in her eye; a gleam that signaled bloodlust, or perhaps insanity. Her head rose, and she locked eyes with Mernov, breathing heavily. |

His train of thought was then broken as his head snapped to the direction of the door, his eyelids slightly narrowed, followed by some strands of his lengthy dark brown hair that flowed into his face; only to come back about the sides of his face.
One of his brows cocked up in curiousity to what was happening. He began to think what might be going on, and that's when he realized what it was. 'Ah, the newcomer of the lineage is getting her first taste of blood...' Not only did he know this from past experience, and being exposed to almost every vampire dropping whatever they grasped to their first taste of 'energy'; but he could smell the scent of the bloody keenly. He could almost taste it, it was so strong as it lufted to his nostrils. 'It has been awhile since you got yourself a drink now, hasn't it Odakira?' He thought to himself, his gaze looking to the ground as he allowed a small smile upon his face express his thoughts of a cold drink of blood. Letting out a small smirk, he turned and quickly opened the door, shutting it behind him lightly as he entered his room. He gave into a couple sniffs of the air, and found the scent of blood within. He traversed over and hastily opened the door of the blood-dispensor in the wall, falling into the bloodlust of his mind as he removed two packets of the cooling box. He sat himself down at the table presented before him in the room, allowing his form to take in the chair's hospitality as he took a seat. Placing the edge of the two packets in his mouth, he frantically ripped them away with his fangs, soon to cock his head back and down the red liquid hurriedly. As there was no drop to spare within the packet, he brandished his lips with his tongue, and smacked them to express his fill for a long time. The pigment within his eyelids seemed to have bursted into flames, becoming a red tint as hot as molten lava. His optics seemed to express an uncontrolable rage, but he remained seated with a smile about his face. After a moment, the pigment in his eyelids died down to a low silver. Odakira had a strange ability to conserve energy from the blood he took in and distraught it over a long period of time. He could use the energy of the blood that vampires gained for almost over a decade. It was all mind of matter to him. His facial complexions seemed spaced out, due to his conservation taken place within, his eyes flickered back up to their golden state. Tilting his head to one side to allow a bone-crackling pop emit from his neck, he propped his head up against the table, his elbows amongst it's wooden surface as he began to think once again about Wolfgang and Erika. Remembering nothing in particular, but their old times together when, at one period, they used to be friends... Only to soon became enemies... |

Far from the smog and speed of the city far away, the country was peaceful, serene and unforgettable. Yet Chris saw it every day. He loved being there where he wouldn't sneeze because the smoke would aggravate his senses. However, he felt a little that he saw it too much.
Suddenly, Chris was in London. He was older, 24 at least. And now he was the strapping young doctor before...before it happened. It happened so fast, days after he had created the mechanical body he had dubbed "Kyphus" his greatest achievment, his answer to the fountain of youth. It was a body of metal and technology that could fix itself, power itself, and bond to its owner in mind and body. Christopher never knew he would be the first customer of his invention. It was an accident, horrible and true. Fighting with his fiancee in the strangest of places, a factory upon a scaffolding over vats of liquid iron. Voices were raised, he was rushing, someone needed his aid yet that woman had followed him simply to scream at him. She pushed, he pushed back. Then, he fell, landed in the metal, burned and nearly killed. His aids placed him within the metal body of "Kyphus". They modified everything for his bod. After months of recovery and preparation, Christopher Valens finally awoke, not feeling quite like himself... In the silence of the medical unit, Kyphus awoke... |

Mernov stood beside Erika, his arm wrapped loosely about her waist, their figures stood out blurredly in the darkness that surrounded all. His other hand clenched the long red fabric of his coat, which had halfway enveloped them both in the black wind. Wolfgang rushed hurriedly in madness, panting heavily with every pace he made, only to see Mernov and Erika's forms be pushed farther and farther from his reach. Soon, his footing was stopped, as the darkness below him became a muck, clenching his leggings and sinking him into the dearth slowly. "Erika!!!" Mernov gave off his maniacle, toothy grin and turned to face Erika, who had did the same, and ran his hands gracefully from her cheek to the collar of her shirt. He grasped the collar tightly then tore it open with ease. Exposing her collar bones and some of her bosom to him. Wolfgang watched in anger, fury, and madness, but was helpless in his efforts to free himself from the black muck. The red vampire lowered his head to let his canines lightly graze the skin of Erika's neck, his eye tauntingly glancing down at the sinking Nazi. The woman let out a quiet moan as the vampire did so. Wolfgang gritted his tooth, and went to let out a shout at the vampire, but found his mouth sealed as the muck had sunk him down to his cheek bones. Mernov opened his mouth, and at the instant he bit down into Erika's neck, Wolfgang plummited into the darkness. "No!!" BANG Wolfgang peered open his slumbering eyes, and felt pain in his forehead. He brought up his hand and rubbed the top of his messedly haired head. He had jumped up and smacked his head to the lid of his coffin/bed, due to his nightmare. She wore a grey-blue dress; the exact dress that she had worn on the day of Wolfgang's acceptance into the Schutzstaffel. Erika raised her right hand to touch the back of her head. Just as she had thought, holding pieces of her hair back was the black tie that Wolfgang had worn when he had joined the Hitler Youth. She frowned, confused. Was it 1940 all over again? The girl began to run again, reaching the peak of the hill she was running towards. Erika paused, putting her hands onto her knees as she stopped for air. At the foot of the hill before her she saw the same oak tree under which Erika and Wolfgang spent many of their nights. She smiled when she saw Wolfgang's form standing beneath the tree, gazing left and right as if he were awaiting her arrival. Giggling to herself, Erika dashed down the hill, running towards Wolfgang with open arms. "Wolfgang!" she called out as she fell into his outstretched arms. Erika rested her head upon his shoulder, breathing in slowly as she savored the scent of his cologne. It was exactly as she had remembered it. And... if Erika remembered correctly, not too long from now they would...
Erika looked up with a warm smile on her face, raising her eyes to meet with... Mernov's?! The girl's eyes widened in horror as she struggled to break free of his grasp. The enemy chuckled deeply, whispering into Erika's ear in a language she did not know. In her dizzyness, Erika could see the once peaceful scenery around them dissolve into darkness. Her knees trembled and her body shook as Mernov stood before her, grinning. She saw his tongue run over his fangs, speaking once more to her in an alluring manner. Erika's mouth ran dry as she struggled to speak. She felt the front of her dress pop open, and yet she did nothing. The girl's head felt light as a feather as the vampire slowly moved closer to her neck, brushing up against her soft skin with kisses before she felt something sharp graze her skin. Erika turned her head slightly to the side, catching a glimpse of what looked like Wolfgang struggling to reach out to her. She felt a wicked smile creep across her face, almost as if she were mocking Wolfgang. "ERIKA!!!" was the last thing she heard as Mernov's fangs plunged into her flesh, and she screamed. The Nazi woke with a start, her cheeks wet with blood. Erika took several deep breaths, urging her heart to return to a normal pace. She heard Wolfgang whisper in the darkness and looked up. Erika struggled to speak, but her lips trembled and would not form the right words.[/color:acda5cbc51] |

He brought down his hand from rubbing it on his head, to lightly caress his fingertips in her hair. His other hand wrapping about her figure loosely. He questioned her in almost a silent tone,
"You dreamt it too...?" His eyes flickered in the darkness, giving off a gaze of care for her. Knowing that he did not want that nightmare to ever come about in his life. He never wanted to lose Erika, though at this moment in time, she was slowly slipping away. This affliction of Mernovs must come to an end, or... Erika must pry herself away from the curse that has been placed upon her.[/color:7d38ed4321] |

Pushing the button with her unstable hand, Erika climbed out of the coffin and stood on the stone floor. Her breathing was heavy and labored as she made her way over to the adjacent wall, bracing herself upon it with her hand before she fell into it. Erika closed her eyes and breathed heavily, holding her biceps with the opposite hands as she struggled to calm herself. Her voice was quiet and shaken as she began to speak to herself in German, only audible for those within a few inches of her.
Erika then reached inside her buttoned shirt and pulled a locket out from underneath and held it in her palm, running her thumb over it lightly. On the front, the letter 'E' was engraved in the text of Old English. The Nazi sighed heavily and put her arms around her waist, letting the locket fall onto her bosom.[/color:9f4809b8fb] |

Slumping over somewhat as his feet came into contact with the floor, and straightened himself up quickly. He instantly paced himself acroos the room in a rapid motion, bringing his arms about Erika's waist from her side to comfort her. Soon to bring one of his hand up to remove what excess hair fell into her face and stroke it back lightly.
He glanced down to catch her expression, but his eyes locked upon the necklace he had given her that night. He remembered after getting his first pay for becoming a Schutzstaffel officer, he went and had the amulet made. Made of pure silver, and was quite expensive as well. She never let that locket leave her neck. Though, they were not lovers at the time, but only really good friends since childhood. Wolfgang wanted her to be happy, and more than happiness is what she recieved then. Until now... "Wie gehts, Erika...?" He asked quietly under his breath, pressing his cheek lightly against her own, feeling the heat emit of her skin. It seemed almost as if she were suffering from an illness. "You're burning up..." To this he placed his hand against her cheek, his cooling touch seeming to have little affect amongst her, but it would be of some help for now. Soon, he brought it up to her forehead, allowing the sweat and his touch to give a cooling sensation to her as his other hand remained wrapped about her figure loosely.[/color:349069909d] OOC:how are you |

"Ich bin... gut..." she breathed, finding it difficult to speak. While she knew she wasn't fine at all, she couldn't figure out what was wrong. Her body felt like it was on fire and every second she spent standing drew her closer to the point of fainting. The Nazi put her hands on Wolfgang's chest to help support herself. She fell forward slightly, her face falling to rest upon her Master's shoulder. Her chest rose and fell dramatically as she breathed in and out heavily. Erika opened her mouth slightly, her tongue hanging out slightly as sweat dripped from her forehead; she needed blood.[/color:29f6f6555e] |

It was obvious she needed blood. To the reaction of his instinct, he quickly took her into his arms, swiping her legs out from under her gracefully as he did so. He lowered his head, his red optics emitted a black light within them, soon closing to conceal them with his eyelids. Black static wrapped about their bodies, soon to form in an orb around them that consumed them in darkness. The orb shrank and vanished from the room.
Static emitted from the middle of Wolfgang's office as the orb then emerged from within the center of the air of the room. It enlarged from it's original size, and gave off a light shimmer as it reappeared. Shattering as Wolfgang's form ran out of it, it's shards faded as it came into contact with the tall vampire and the floor. Wolfgang halted to a stop in front of the cabinet that contained the blood. He beckoned with a slight turn of his head to throw open the ice-box, again to allow a blood bag to fly out and lay within Erika's bosom. He quickly turned and headed to his desk, laying the woman amongst the cool surface. He quickly snatched the bag and tore off the end-piece of it's small nozzle. With one hand, he brought Erika's mouth open gently, his index finger and thumb gently clasped onto her. He then brought it behind her head and lifted it slightly to recline her limp neck. His other hand tilted the blood bag and gave a slight squeeze of it to squirt some of the crimson fluid into her mouth, allowing the taste of it to reach her tongue in hopes of letting her thirst give her energy. Speaking out in a calming tone, knowing that Erika could pull through this, for she had before, "You're going to be fine. I'm here... Drink up, liebe...."[/color:ac382ff91b] |

He understood her dilemma and had seen it happen many times before. A vampire's first taste of blood is quite truely enough to drive him or her insane. Mernov raised the glass bottle to eye level, examining the liquid inside with reverence and pride. The taste of good blood was always truely wonderful. The tall vampire mused that perhaps simply never having known how truely wonderful the taste of blood is was the cause of a newly-turned vampire's near insanity upon first tasting it. He glanced over to the young girl in the coffin, who had so far not done much. Seizing the oppourtunity, Mernov took a long swig from the bottle replacing the cork with his teeth before placing it within the folds of his cloak once again. He let out a pleased sigh as he looked back to the girl. He supposed it would be best to stop her before she hurt herself. Grabbing bother her hands in his left so that she could not do anything regrettable, he leaned in close past her face, so that his mouth was right next to her right ear.
"My dear Jeanne," Mernov begin, his voice soft, deep, and rich. "I suppose it is time for you to rest and relax." He didn't infuse any vampiric magic into his words, as he didn't suppose he would need to. However, if she didn't calm down immediately, he was quite prepared to do so when he spoke to her agian. |

Her eyelids slid over her crimson eyes slowly, the light cream color slowly returning to her skin. In mere seconds Erika had downed the packet, smiling weakly as her trembling stopped, and her temperature decreased considerably. Using her sleeve to wipe some of the sweat from her brow, she used her new energy to lean up of her own accord, putting her hands on her face. She slowly slide them down, being sure to wipe every drop of perspiration from her forehead and cheeks before she put them onto the table to support her slender frame. With a warm smile she turned to look at Wolfgang, one of her hands going to the locket around her neck.
"Danke, Mein Herr.." she said, quietly. When she felt less lightheaded, Erika turned her attention back to the locket in her hand, smiling as she remembered the day she'd recieved it. "You remember when you gave me this?" she asked, wondering if he had remembered.[/color:997de1c970] In the midst of her sudden insanity, Jeanne heard that deep voice calling out to her. The red clouds in her vision slowly dispersed to reveal Mernov standing unusually close to her face. Her lips continued to tremble as they were raised enough to bear her fangs, and her hands trembled and quivered as they gripped the sheets of the coffin. Her tongue hung outside of her lips slightly as her breathing gradually slowed down, her heart rate returning to a safe and normal pace. At his words she nodded slightly, sitting back up to look at him, slightly ashamed. "I'm sorry, master.. I didn't mean to.." she whispered. |

His eyes following his hand movements, soon to glance up at Erika once again and smile warmly to her questioning. He nodded his head lightly in return to the graceful words that luftly came to his ears. He brought up his hand and allowed it caress her cheek, bringing it behind to the back of her neck, bringing her up against him. Along with more support from his other hand as it slid under her back and lifted her. He whispered to her in a gladdened tone, yet almost in a whisper,
"I will never forget that day, mein liebe..." He then brushed his own cheek against hers, soon to whisper back in even a lighter of tone next to her ear, his lips slightly grazing her lobe. "I had just arrived back in Berlin from my first mission in Teresienstadt. I had recieved a bountiful pay from halting a guerrila group of the Jews from sabotaging the camp. Other than the reward, I was given a month off-duty." He lifted his head up to gaze deeply into her ruby eyes with his own, displaying reminiscience within his optics. Soon to continue in a more prouder tone, yet still in a low audio, "I told my commander that the first thing I'm doing is going to Berlin. The first thing I did was go to a jeweler to get the amulet made, and kept a watchful eye on you, and when it was finished two days later, I came with it..." He paused, then leaned forward, and placed a kiss amongst her supple lips, whispering once again, "To see my love."[/color:523022ea3b] |
