Over...

It's all over, isn't it...? Is this how my eternity is destined? To have my love ripped from my arms by the whisper of another vampire...?

Wolfgang's optics shuddered, the intense light within gave out, and died. The edges of his mouth lowered as well as his gaze. He slowly picked Erika's figure up from his lap. He stood, allowing the woman's arms to remain embodied about his neck. His feet piveted on the ground to turn and pace around to the back of the chair. Coming to a halt, he lowered his arm slowly that held at the back of her thighs, allowing her figure to stand upon the floor with grace. His other hand bringing her upper body straight, only to come away and rest at his side as she stood firmly upon the ground.

Reaching into the pockets of his long black coat, he removed a black leather glove. A matching pair, the cuffs of the handwear coming up to the elbow. He nimbly placed the gloves on each hand, then intermingled his fingers together, clamping down his digits upon the tops of his hands. Frustrated with this ordeal, he shook his head rapidly for a moment, as if he were a man who had just woke up, his hair flew from it's original style to a messed up display. Random strands falling into his eyes, and others became an unorganized display about his head and face.

Lowering his gaze from her eyes once again to the floor, his brows gave off an ominous shadow that concealed his optics. He then took to his pace once again, his presence meandered slowly around Erika, and to Moloch.

I know now that even our past cannot save her... Not even OUR love...

His grim figure lowered, his hands clamping onto the straps of the backpack, he whipped it around to one side, freeing his hand that was opposite from where he threw it around. He shot out his arm, letting it enter the strap's hold gracefully. He hand's comforted the strap's restraints to his shoulders. His right hand snapped out to grab the massive weapon's handle once again, standing straight.

His feet seemed to grind away at the floor with a creak as they piveted to face the door. He walked out of the doorway sideways again, soon to traverse the hallway with his loud steps. His mouth and cheeks stammered slightly as he his head shook lightly with rage. Parting his lips to reveal his gritted teeth widely, he threw out his left hand, which clenched into a tight fist in the moment of the swing, slamming it into a wall to create a a deep hole into the wall as well as a giant crack that flew up from the damage to the ceiling.

HE IS A DEAD MAN!!! [/color:eb72bbd0c5]

"Forgiven." Odakira spoke out, followed by a light chuckle as he let a warm smile envelope his facial complexions. He brought out a foot to one side and swiftly turned himself about to face the same direction Helen was. He leaned forawrd, and allowed his body to drop back into the comfort of a chair beside her. He relaxed back into the hospitality the chair gave, bringing up one foot to rest upon the knee of his other leg, crossing them in other words, he took in a breathe as he continued.

"I understand you are curious about us vampires... But I was born this way. I bare no teeth marks upon my neck whatsoever..." To the sound of his deep vocals, he brought up a hand to rub the tip of his index finger and thumb into the indentations of his eyes, for he felt a slight itching sensation for a moment in that area.

In the back of his head, he began to remember the thoughts he had when he first met her outside the organization. How everyone began to think how he had feelings for her and such. That, or how he intended to convert her supposedly. His facial complexions remained unchanged as he slowly shook his head to the thought. He glanced over to Helen, his eyelids narrowed slightly, but the pigments reflected a sensitive light that expressed apology.

"In fact, I should be apologizing. After all, you had been tortured, and nearly killed..." He let out a sigh, letting his adjacent hand move to his crossed leg to grip around the ankle of his boot. His smile faded to a small frown, feeling that he was to blame for all this. His other hand came up to brush away some stray strands of his dark brown hair away from his golden occulars.

His glance seemed to become spaced out as he tried to figure up someway to repay her for the tragic event. Remaining silent for a moment, he glanced over to see the night sky had started to become a lighter shade of blue. The sun was coming.

"Hmm... If only I could baske in the light of the sun freely..." He whispered to himself, followed by another sigh as he stood from the chair. He turned himself to face the window, his eyes locked unto the sky as it began to lighten more, slowly, with each passing minute.

Erika watched bewildered as Wolfgang slammed his fist in the wall. Frowning, she went over to him, wrapping her arms around his bicep. "M-mein Herr, stop! You can't leave; it's morning.." she said, trailing off as she glanced to the bottom of the door. The light of the morning was leaking through the crack under the door. "I'm ... sorry, Wolfgang..." she whispered, her arms slowly slipping off of her Master's arm. "I do love you.. really, it's just... when Mernov did that... it felt... different..." She shivered slightly, putting her arms around her waist.

"When you... do things like that.. it feels strange. Almost as if.. it's not really you; it feels more like there's some kind of power controlling me.." she finished, whispering. The Nazi fell to her knees, putting her hands onto the ground as she sobbed slightly. "I don't know what I can do.. Wolfgang.. I want to love only you..." She reached up to touch his hand, her own trembling slightly.[/color:0eeac40e8a]

Jeanne, overjoyed with how well she had progressed, wrapped her arms about Mernov's neck. In response to her Master's inquirey, she put a finger to her lips, thinking. After a few moments of diliberation she looked up at Mernov, her eyes giving off a warm gaze. "How long will I ... be with you..?" she asked.

His expression unchanging, Mernov looked up to the ceiling in thought. Outwardly, he seemed indifferent to her question, but inside he felt a strange feeling which he didn't remember having in an exceedingly long time, if ever. From somewhere in his consciousness, he realized that he was starting to experience attachment for this newly-turned vampire. From this attachment, another feeling arose as he heard the words she spoke. He was secretly pleased to hear that she seemed to be enjoying their time together and, perhaps a bit hopefully, Mernov thought that she hoped that time would continue. As was his nature, however, he would not make this noticable to anyone, possibly even Jeanne. It was for both their sakes, as a weakness such as attachment could be easily exploited by an enemy; Mernov had made this point very clear to Wolfgang earlier that night. Thus, not only did Mernov not display this newfound feeling, but he squelched it as well, ignoring it and keeping from his thoughts so that it could not grow to an unsafe level. He did, however, allow himself to feel protective of her; it was only natural, for he had turned her and, of course, she was rather attractive.

It was because of his knowledge of such exploitation of weaknesses that Mernov had wanted to give Jeanne a thorough but quick training in weapons quickly, for he could then continue to train her mind. This step would take longest and would probably be the most difficult, but it was arguably the most important. Early the next night, perhaps when there was still a measure of light remaining outside, they would begin this training and work as fast as they could to get the basics down; details and more proficiency would come later. With these thoughts and decisions made quickly within his mind, Mernov looked back down to the beautiful young lady in his arms.

"You may remain with me as long as you wish," Mernov said softly, though his voice still contained every ounce of the power it would have at normal volume. "Eternity is a long time, but for us, it is not out of the question. Listen and follow my instructions well, and eternity shall be your slave."

Helen watched him carefully as he lowered himself into the chair, and listened to him intently. So he was born this way? Who were his parents? Why was he left to fend for himself? She wanted to know, but she feared it would be too personal, so she stayed silent.

“Don’t apologize,” Helen said calmly. “There was nothing you could have done to stop it. If the blame should be placed on anyone, it should be me. If I had simply stayed inside that night, none of this would have happened.” And I would just be waking up now to eat breakfast and grade some papers before I went to the school to teach, she thought to herself. Life seemed so simple before this new world of vampires and such came into her life.

Her attention shifted to the window where he now stood. The professor rose form her seat, and walked over to his side. It was obvious something was bothering him, but she remained silent as she stared out the window at the lightening sky. She then realized it had only been twenty-four hours since her kidnapping; it felt as if it had been an eternity.

“Odakira,” she asked softly interrupted the silence. “Are you all right?”

Wolfgang turned about abruptly to glance down at the small woman. His eyes seeming overshadowed still, and a small wrinkle had formed between his brows. He let out a shout, his fist still clenched from the blow he dealt to the wall came down to his side as he spoke, "I rather walk in the light than suffer this anymore!"

His figure then turned in a step closer to her, his footing emitted a heavy sound as it came into contact with the ground. His voice reverberated off the walls of the hallway chaotically, his essence seeming to have been posessed by rage. "I am going to destroy that scum who did this to you Erika!" When he felt the brush of her hand amongst his, he didn't know what to do; to be calmed by her care and emotion, or to pass off this gesture as fake. He couldn't tell anymore. What was real or what was ethereal...

In turn, Wolfgang remained silent and still, the wrinkle of his brow soon vanished as he became lost in his thoughts. He couldn't do anything, be melted by the sun and his wish be unfulfilled, have to wait with a girl who cannot perceive her love to him. It was insanity.

He kneeled down before her, lifting her up to her feet as he rose, his hand was placed at her shoulder blade, and his arm underneath her own. As the two stood, his overshadowed face emitted to red lights from within, his optics being displayed in a form of concealment. His mind was in chaos. All was lost for him at this moment.

"I know it may seem to you that I'm not trying..." He whispered, his voice was cold and light as it was barely audible, "But it is hard to deal with knowing that my love for you is being mis-interpretated in your mind and heart..."

His gaze lowered from her eyes to glance back down at the floor again. His hand moved slowly from her shoulder blade to her waist, weakly pressed against her form. His grip on Moloch weakened slightly as well, nearly falling out of his grip, but nimbly his digits clamped about it once again.[/color:db1d99c11d]

Odakira's head twitched somewhat to turn and gaze at Helen, who now stood beside him. He gave off his usual reassuring smile, and shook his head. He spoke out quietly to her, "I am fine, Helen." To this, he glanced back outside, he then piveted his feet and turned away from her, soon to take to his stride. He spoke out a little louder than before back to her, his voice ecoing amongst the walls of the large library, "You should be able to go home tonight, those vampires will not bring you any harm..." His figure then vanished behind a bookcase from Helen's sight.

As Odakira had left the library, he went back into the hall of where he was just barely hearing whispers escape Jeanne's room. Ignoring them and considering them none of his concern, he continued to head down the hallway to his room. His figure stopped, as he became lost in his own thoughts, he could feel a pain inside him. Where, though, was it coming from...?

Erika felt miserable. It was as if everything she had done was fake; whether it was the truth or not, she loved Wolfgang deeply. She felt his arm wrap around her waist, bringing her to rest her cheek upon his chest gently. Her eyes shut tight, she gripped his black jacket tightly, forcing herself to think only of Wolfgang; she wouldn't hurt him again. Her voice shook when she spoke up again, hiccuping slightly every few seconds: "Wolfgang, if I lose you I won't be able to live. Life without you isn't worth living!" As she finished, Erika looked up into Wolfgang's eyes, her own full of sincerity. "For the past... eighty years I've lived to do nothing but serve you and make you happy, and all I've done is fail time and time again." The Nazi clenched her teeth, crimson tears welling up at the corner of her eyes as she mentally reprimanded herself. "I won't fail you again, Master.. I can't."

Her arms wrapped around his strong chest tightly. She rubbed her cheek affectionately against his chest before releasing her grip on his arm and touching his hand lightly. "Put that down; let's just... sit and talk, Wolfgang.. or something. It's morning anyway, we should rest... or something." she said, her words tumbling out of her mouth in dissarray. She took his free hand in both of her small ones, smiling weakly as she tried to tug him towards one of the chairs they had sat in earlier.

"Please, Mein Herr... Ich möchte nicht Sie verlieren..." she whispered, pleadingly[/color:f248e31797]

Suddenly feeling drowsy, Jeanne nodded with a warm smile on her lips. She wasn't really sure what her feelings for Mernov were. While on one hand she felt extremely attracted to him on a physical scale, he was also dark and fairly intimidating. His strong, large frame made her feel timid and weak in his shadow; it was almost intoxicating. Jeanne wasn't sure if her feelings for him had grown very large on a romantic scale, but she felt that she could possibly love him, were she given the chance to get to know him further of course.

As Mernov began to lay her down into her coffin/bed, she swallowed harshly; her throat felt horribly dry. "M..master... is there a sink anywhere down here? I feel... quite thirsty..." she whispered quietly.

Wolfgang instantly dropped the cannon of the weapon to her words instantaneously. The weapon fell from his hand quickly with a large CLANG, and shook the floor as it did so. Bringing up his arms, he quickly enveloped her in his embrace. As he held her close to his figure, he brought his cheek to push against her own, speaking out in a lighter than usual tone,

"Okay..."

In his thoughts, he really wanted to be with her, and try to solve this. Though the formality of the sun was a problem, it wouldn't hurt to try and talk this over again. In fact, Wolfgang's body was somewhat worn, and he could use a good rest. With all the turmoil going about, he probably would not have a chance to get some shut-eye.

A low yawn escaped shakeningly between his lips. His figure fell slightly limp around her, soon to speak out in a weak tone again.

"Let us rest in our coffin, and maybe we can talk there..."[/color:e51e7fd7cc]

Erika nodded, relieved. She rubbed his back affectionately with her hands, and the laced her fingers with his as she turned to the door. Instead of going out the main door, for there was ample sunlight to be seen in the crack below the frame, she turned the knob of the door to its right. A cold burst of air caused the girl to shiver as she descended the steps before Wolfgang, still holding his hand all the while. When the two had reached the bottom of the staircase she turned to her left, flipping the small switch on the wall with her free hand. A dim, fluorescent light flickered on, shining a small amount of light on the room. The walls were all blocks of stone, as was the floor. However the furnishings were luxurious; the tables were all made of finely finished wood, and the walls had been adorned with numerous Nazi-related paintings. She smiled warmly as she turned to Wolfgang.

As usual, she unbuttoned his jacket and slipped it off of his arms. She then took a hangar from the bearau and hung it inside. Erika then followed suit by doing the same, finishing as she hung her own uniform inside. As she reached behind to remove her hair clip, she stepped over to the coffin/bed and stepped on a small button. The large lid slowly began to rise up until it hit the cieling, exposing a soft, luxurious bed beneath it. She gestured to it with her hand, signaling for Wolfgang to get in before her. "Here you go, Mein Herr. You need to rest more than I do.." she said, affectionately rubbing his arm.[/color:c8bb24ab8e]

With a faint smile about his facial complexions, Wolfgang spoke out with slight sarcasm in his tone, "Ladies first." To this, he brought one hand to her mid back, and the other behind her legs. Lifting her up gracefully, he placed her small figure into the coffin/bed first. As he allowed her form to lie amongst the bed's hospitality, he allowed his left hand to rest at his side, and the other loosened his tie. Soon to unbutton the top three buttons of his shirt.

His smile slowly became warmer as he walked around to the other side of the coffin. His hands had untucked his white button-up shirt from the waistline of his pants. After doing so, he ran the fingers of one of his hands through his messy gold hair, then hopped into the coffin beside her. He brought his arm under her neck and around her shoulder, lifting her slightly to rest at her side against him as he laid on his back. His other hand then pressed a switch that made the lid slowly come back down, sealing the coffin off into a veil of darkness within.

He didn't know what to say though, he had tried to think of what he could say during the little time of his traversing the stairs to laying in his coffin. Instead, he stayed quiet, soon to stroke his hand through Erika's golden tresses. Her warm figure against his made him seem somewhat sleepier.[/color:ea8e2ef8f2]

Erika watched the lid of the coffin gradually close until the two Nazis were enveloped in darkness. She glanced upwards to where Wolfgang's face was and smiled, resting her head on his chest once more. Her eyelids fell for a moment, resting for only a second before opening them once more. Placing her hand on his chest, she massaged his muscles affectionately as she spoke softly. "I had.. a strange dream the other night.." she began, her voice quivering slightly. Erika continued as she played with a button on Wolfgang's shirt, her cheek resting on his chest. "There was a large cliff, or something. I was walking alone and suddenly there you were, near the edge of the cliff. I tried calling out to you but you didn't respond.." She paused, feeling slightly upset. With every breath Wolfgang took, Erika could feel his chest rise and fall, and could hear every beat of his heart; it was calming.

"When I started running towards you, you turned away and jumped off the cliff. I remember crying, and then you were gone.." she finished, closing her eyes. At this she buried her face in his shirt, inhaling slowly; the smell of his cologne was always calming to her somehow. "I never want..." she began, yawning slightly, "..to lose you..." she finished in a whisper.

"Ich liebe dich, Wolfgang.." she said quietly.[/color:35cbd07ab2]

Wolfgang parted his lips slowly, turning his head to meet his lips at her ear. He whispered softly back to her, "Ich liebe dich, Erika..." His voice seemed intoxicating as it lulled her further into her slumber. Calming as he continued to speak, "You will never lose me... Es ist was Ich wünschen."

To this, his other hand reached over to lay lightly on her waist. Comforming to every contour of her body as he pressed her lightly against his figure. In his mind, he was somewhat surprised to find that she was able to mention him instead of Mernov. The affection must of worn down, but it must be there still.

He glanced down at her, his eyes being able to see clearly in the darkness of their coffin/bed, seeing that she was nearing to a slumber. To this, he began to hum a slow and soft melody under his breath. Comforting her spirit even further into her sleep.[/color:aae7216480]

Erika, nustled comfortably in Wolfgang's grasp, nodded and smiled. She yawned again, her small figure growing limp in her Master's arms. "Thank.. you..." she whispered quietly, her voice drifting off. It only took a minute or so of Wolfgang's soft humming to lull Erika to sleep, her face holding an expression of contentment and happiness. Every now and then she would shuffle slightly, mumbling softly in German with a warm smile on her face.

For now, Erika was happy.[/color:7fe2225e3b]

Wolfgang had just realized as Erika's form fell limp into his, this was the second time they had ever been like this in slumber. The night before he was converted, him and Erika had slept under the branches of a red oak tree. Not just an average tree, but their hang-out spot when they were children. Not to mention that Wolfgang had inscribed their initials into the bark of the tree's base.

Then the war came and they worked together in most of their missions. Never having really the time to spend together and talk until now.

Wolfgang's eyes gazed upon Erika's figure in heavy study, examining every breath she took to every twitch or movement her body made in her slumber. That's when he also realized that she didn't have a problem sleeping with him in his coffin. Her coffin lied amongst the wall opposite of where his was. She indeed hadn't changed since that time... He began to understand how she could feel, not being able to fully express herself under Mernov's affliction.

'I wonder what it would be like if that were to happen to me...' He thought deeply to himself, removing a strand of hair that suddenly fell over Erika's face. 'She's right, I should try harder to feel what she's going through.' To this, he gave a nod to himself, and closed his red optics, letting out a breath with his opened mouth as he too, fell into a sleep in darkness...[/color:336893bfad]

Mernov allowed his lips to curl into a toothy grin, and then part to allow himself a hearty laugh. He turned around and beckoned with his index finger to a small, vertically arranged slab of stone, in front of what appeared to be some sort of stone box, inset into the far wall. The stone "door" swung forward slowly, revealing a miniature refridgerator, filled with small plastic packets. Each of these packets was filled with a thick, red substance which was unmistakable. And it most certainly was not ketchup. The tall vamprie beckoned again and one of these packets floated out of the fridge into his awaiting hand, the door closing simultaniously. As he rose his free hand from his side, he twirled his fingers and, seemingly from out of nowhere, a small straw appeared, which he pierced into the top of the packet and handed it to Jeanne in one swift moment.

"Of course," Mernov said, speaking in a hushed voice. "You must be starved. Alas, you may not feed for yourself, but this will do." He allowed himself another grin, curious to see how this young girl would respond to her new source of nurishment.

Jeanne looked up at Mernov, then to the packet before her, and then back at Mernov again, wide-eyed. "I ... I can't drink that... can't I have a glass of water or something?" she asked pleadingly. Just the thought of drinking blood made Jeanne's hands tremble. Sweat trickled from her forehead as she looked at the packet, a look of disgust on her face. Her tongue dried up and the pupils in her eyes shrank; she needed to drink something... anything.

"I really... would rather have some water, master...", Jeanne whispered, her voice trembling as she looked at the blood packet.
