"Damnit!" he said, slapping one palm into his face. With his other hand, he drew his gun and fired 4 shots, killing the first four freaks for good. His old count was 42, but he realized there was a slight problem. They'd have to start over again. Seeing Kyphus swamped by zombies, Shadows gave a sharp whistle, and Charon leapt over several Nazis and bowled the ones on Kyphus off like ninepins. Charon swung one gigantic, fuzzy clawed paw at a particular Nazi's head and knocked it straight off. The body fell limp at the tiger's feet. It bit the head of another and wrenched it off, making sure it wouldn't come back to life. As blood dripped from it's maw, those near it would have sworn they could hear the devil cat purring loudly. "Oh, his kills count as mine." said Shadows calmly, as if this were an everyday occurance. He fired one more bullet, but this one only hit the shoulder, because the vampire behind Shadows had hit the gun and altered the aim. Shadows swore. He drew a small knife from somwhere on his belt and stuck it into the heart of the vampire that had altered his aim. As it fell to the ground twitching, three more attack Shadows from all angles. He dropped his gun and began to use fists again. He was hard pressed with more vampires attacking each second. OOC:wow...this totally sucks...after about a week with no posts, i do this. |

'This is foolishness! I know the limits of my power, I would never dare hurt Erika!' He thought to himself, now believing his words would not get through to his enemy. 'He's just making assumptions! Do not listen to him! Take him out.... NOW!'
As the shout rang out in his mind, Wolfgang instantaneously rose his open hand into the direction of Mernov. Black sparkles and dark lights of his energy began to flow out of his palm, the waves soon snapping into a an orb that fitted the base of his grasp. He threw it up and swiftly spun his figure about, causing a slight whirlwind to spin about his form, his black coat flapping in the air. He eyed the orb with every spin he made, waiting for the perfect moment, and then it came... Wolfgang swung out his weapon with much strength, his dark blade coming into contact with the orb, dead-center. Within the transparent orb, a pitch black spark emitted that enveloped the blade for a moment, and caused his swing to slow. Wolfgang pushed harder as the blade then finally cut through the rest of the orb. The effect became a weird offensive; the orb shattered into large quantities and shards of what was like dark-glass. They moved out at a blinding velocity into Mernov's direction. As the shards transpired through the air, they gave off small black sparks to one another as if they were connected in some way. Sharing the power that they posess in their offensive. [/color:9c0f24d39c] |

She grinned, raising her left hand and spreading her fingers out, forming a barrier just as she had before. The shards smashed into the barrier, and most stopped there, falling into the ground. A few shards, however flew into the barrier, yet Erika merely turned her head to avoid a few. When the barrier dissapeared, only a few cuts were on her thighs and arms, and one on her face. The Nazi glared daggers into Wolfgang, her eyes a souless pool of red. They had lost their ruby tint, and were gradually turning grey, her black pupil forming into one resembling that of a cat's. Erika lowered her hand, placing both of her arms parrallel to her sides. She then spoke completely in German, her accent cold, yet alluring.
<"No one... attacks my Master...">, she said, her gaze as cold as ice. The woman turned her head so that she could see Mernov, and smiled. "Was that good... mein Herr?" she asked, speaking competely in English once more, save the last two words.[/color:5dbfaa88ed] |

His mouth dropped open and his knees stammered. His entire body began to shake as his mind plummeted into a frightened state. His hand lost grasp of it's weapon, the blade fell and and stuck into the ground. It emitted a small shrill as it's metallic surface pierced between the small grains of dirt, only to fall over with a clang after a moment. He spoke out softly in his native tone, though it shakened in his throat as it was released out of his mouth, "E-Erika...?"
He peered deeply into her bloody optics, his own crimson ones stared into a pool of nothingness within her eyes. Mernov must of done a great deal to her mind in order for her to act such a way. Wolfgang had also seen his world turning before him. A formidable enemy, the outcome of the war... The loss of his love... Wolfgang's pupils' shrank, and lowered to glare at Erika's feet. He didn't know what would happen now. Random thoughts ran a muck in his cortex of mind. One thought urked him the most... He must not lose Erika to Mernov. Not under some spell will he have her throw her life away, but for something that was genuine, and real. His mouth, moved slightly, whispering out in a monotone, and cold vocal, "Wie der Mann, der die Welt für Austausch seiner Seele gewann, tausche ich meine Selbst gegen Sie Erika aus." He allowed a pause as the let the words sink slowly to Erika's ears, he then glanced up and finished his saying as his pupils widened to Erika's still un-inflicted optics, "Bitte, rückseite kommen...?" He then brought up a hand slowly and placed it on her shoulder, his touch seeming desolate and barren, for his heart was near to shattering at any moment. He would gladly give up his efforts for the return of her normal self, but he dare not wish to speak it... He wanted time to tell him of the certainty before he could take the chance. Watching the tiger peel away Nazi's, Kyphus finally righted himself and carefully lopped the head off of an adjacent Nazi. But another one brought a machine gun to bear and unloaded the bloody thing into Kyphus' chest. Most of the bullets ricocheted off of Kyphus' hide while others found there mark, causing a black ichor to ooze from his body. Of course, Kyphus had taken much worse and survived. Hand Grenades, Mortar shrapnel, and dismemberment were only a few to count.
Kyphus beared down on the gunner and launched an old trick of his: the extending arm. Quick as a jet , his arm launched itself at teh Nazi, closing the distance while thinning the fiber of his mettalic arm. Finally, it landed home. The Nazi dropped his gun in premature shock as he stared at the thing in his guts. Then he grabbed onto it and pulled. Kyphus was suddenly on his face; Did not mean he down for the count though, he would get his revenge. Kyphus divided a Nazi at the torso with a clawed foot as first things come first... |

He turned and glanced to see Kyphus was basically being flooded over by the living dead. He closed his reddened optics and whispered something to himself. As it reverberated into the air, a small, white, static spark emitted from his left hand. He raised it to the air quickly, then threw his arm out into the direction of where Kyphus was; his open palm soon spat out randomly, and eerily, long strands of white electricity.
As the tips of the bolts came into contact with the undead, it would create a small hole upon their flesh of where it would hit. Only after within a matter of a second would the hole suddenly expand, and erupt their bodies into a messy display of chunks of flesh, tattered clothing, and fountains of ruby liquid. He then shouted out to Kyphus, his voice was just audible enough for him to 'see', as he continued to blast away hordes of the zombies with his prowess, "You alright, Kyphus!?" Other than seeing that Kyphus was being drained slowly of his energy, he could tell he was going to need help. |

His eyebrows were raised and his eyes slightly wider than usual as he noticed the cuts upon her face, as well as the words she spoke. His scattered german was just enough here for him to pick out what she said. Though he was pleased that his charm and abilites to manipulate the opposite gender without so much as considering the use of his vampiric abilites had not dulled, he worried if perhaps he'd overdone it this time; he had not expected her to be so loyal as to defy her old master. Indeed, it came as a further surprise to hear her to call him "master," an act which left two possibilites in Mernov's mind. Either Erika cared for Wolfgang even less than Mernov had guessed, or she was simply trying to bring about a lowering of defenses. The latter of these was not about to happen, of course.
It was now Wolfgang's turn to speak, who responded with more german. Wunderbar, Mernov thought irritatedly. He decided that he would resume his studies of this language, as well as any other languages he'd been too lazy to learn in his many centuries of existance. There really was no excuse for not having learned every language that was spoken commonly in the world; Mernov was, after all, immortal, and had been upon the earth for much longer than nearly all other creatures which roamed the earth -- save, of course, for Alucard and perhaps a very few other Nosferatu. However, he did not need to know german to understand what the now pathetic-looking vampire before him was saying. He was quite clearly, and very plaintiffly, asking Erika to return to him. Mernov smiled -- this was precisely what he'd wanted to do. Though he doubted her infatuation with him would last too much longer, Mernov guessed -- even hoped -- that the thoughts which now likely swam through her mind would remain with her, giving her doubts about her Nazi master. This was, as had been displayed by Wolfgang's obviously distraught behavior at the thought of losing Erika, a deeper wound than Mernov could ever inflict physically, despite the power of his weapons, familiars, and other magicks which he possessed. If it proved even more successful than the tall vampire expected, it could even be death to the powerful Nazi. Mernov continued to smile as he took but two large strides to close the distance between himself and Erika. It was very true that Mernov enjoyed playing mind-games as much (if not more) than he loved straight genocide. The latter, though it held a certain appeal, could only be drawn out so long, as there was a limited supply of victims when you started to destroy them outright; a mind, however, could be killed and maimed many times before giving up and leaving the world. The tall vampire turned these thoughts over in his mind as he leaned down behind Erika, close to her ear. "My dear Erika," Mernov began, his voice as rich and seductive as ever, "the choice is only yours, and neither shall I plead nor demand." He breathed a soft, warm breath into her ear before brushing his sharp fangs down her cheek along the neck to just the right spot, where he placed a kiss instead as though wanting to tease her. "For now, dear Erika, I must depart." He offered Shadows a toothy grin which said "enjoy your slaughtering" as he seemed to float backwards, without moving a muscle. He didn't know if Shadows caught it but did not care. He had done what he'd come to do, and now had other matters to attend to. As he floated, his form gradually merged together into one mass of black-ish red, which simultaniously melted into the ground and floated away as dust. OOC: and back to hellsing i go! I'll post about him being at hellsing after giving you guys a chance to do something |

The sound of the grains of dirt beneath his feet, the sound of his lips and teeth running gracefully down Erika's cheek. He heard the friction that the kiss bore on her skin as Mernov did so. Right then and there, something within Wolfgang had snapped. His eyes went blank as he now hit the bottom of the abyss in his mind. It almost seemed as if he couldn't feel anymore for the slight moment.
His head then snapped up as he felt Mernov's presence disappear. His sight caught somewhat of the vanishing trail Mernov left behind, then his eyes set on Erika's, gazing deeply into their nothingness. His lips quivered slightly as his mouth came together once again, his facial complexions expressed a deep amount of concern of Erika's choice. Hoping that she could see through the trickery of Mernov's 'talents'. Silently, he stood, awaiting the response of Erika's return, his hand lightly placed on his love's shoulder. His crimson eyes began to well up with blood as he began to think in the back of his mind all the times that they shared as children growing up, and going through the 3rd Reich. He couldn't think no more, not daaring to think of the oaths they took to create the 4th. He waited in dead silence for her answer...[/color:fa5dfe0f69] Odakira glanced over to Mernov's vanishing figure as he continued to blast away the zombie Nazis. His eyebrow cocked up to see Wolfgang disarmed, and motionless. His reddened optics pigment faded to it's original golden hue as he studied his and Erika's form. He began to remember his days long since passed where he had observed Wolfgang and Erika, playing catch with a rolled up sock in the streets of Berlin long ago. What was wrong with Erika....? He then lowered his hand, his attack stopped as he turned and gazed at the two figures in the distance. A small wind carried his white coat about his figure fluterrly as he waited for some kind of movement of the two. |

When he began to dissapear she spun around, reaching out for him as he left. Suddenly, Erika's eyes returned to their normal chrimson color; a deep, rich ruby shade of red. Those chrimson eyes then fell to look upon her master's gloved hand. "Mein Herr?" she asked, turning around, her eyes widening as she saw his expression. Erika put her hands onto Wolfgang's shoulders, shaking him lightly. "Master..? Master, what's wrong?" she pleaded, seeming genuinely concerned. The Nazi then felt something warm trickle down her cheek. That same, warm trickle came also from her arms as well as her thighs.
She raised her hands to her cheeks, rubbing the blood from her face, frowning. "Did that stupid Mernov do this to me..?" she asked, agitated. When she looked up to Wolfgang, seeing that he still seemed mortified, her eyebrows arched inversely in confusion and worry. "Mein herr... What's the matter?"[/color:af49e76b39] Jeanne awoke with a start, slamming her head into the lid of her coffin. She shouted 'OUCH!' when her forehead made contact, rubbing her new bruise tenderly. The girl pressed the switch on her bed, causing the lid of the coffin to rise slowly, and with a grating, mechanical sound. As Jeanne leaned up, something in her heart twinged; she felt something.. or someone nearby. Slowly stepping out of her bed, she smoothed out the wrinkles in her dress and turned the doorknob, stepping out into the hallway and looking left and right. She jumped slightly at the sight of her master, Mernov coming down the hallway. The girl backed back into her room slightly, lowering her eyes. "M-master... I... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have slept so long.. I should have come to help you.." she whispered meekly, gripping the cloth of her dress in her small hands. Her mahogany tresses fell over her shoulders and framed her innocent face, shielding her chrimson eyes from Mernov's vision. "I wish I wasn't so.. useless..." |

He shook his head lightly as he came to his senses, glancing back and forth from her eyes and her blood stained fingers. He gulped heavily, and looked to the ground once again, speaking out in almost a whisper. "I...I-I did it..." He felt guilt in his actions, almost as if it were his fault that she was harmed. In fact, it was all his fault, letting one get so close to her and succumb her spirit to one's will.
To this, he removed his hand from Erika's shoulder, feeling as if he wasn't worthy of her anymore. He then turned away, and glanced at Odakira with his fiery occulars. He lowered his head to him, making a small bow to him, then gestured his open hand down to his side, his palm parallel to the earth, a sign of giving up. Wolfgang glanced up at Erika once more, sorrow-filled were his eyes and facial complexions, soon to have a bloody tear streak down one side of his face. He then turned away, and began to head towards the run-downed mansion, calling out weakly back to her, "Kommen, mein frau..." He didn't know what to make of this. Lack of Faith? Honor? Discipline? ...Love? He couldn't bare the thoughts no more. For now, he made a mental note in his mind with what started out as a simple battle and test of strengths with Mernov, just got personal. As he came to the door of the mansion, he held it open and awaited Erika to step through, also promising himself to try and make a stronger bond between himself and his love, so he might as well start now. [/color:7c0c620418] Odakira nodded slightly to Wolfgang, he then turned to Kyphus and shouted, "Hey Kyphus! We're finished here! Move out!" Not trying to be commanding, but giving a friendly heads up to the beastly figure. He then looked over to see Wolfgang and Erika returning to the mansion. A small smile warmed his face as he remembered the memories he bore in his mind of them two when they were children. His figure emitted a white hue, the transformed in a display of white lights that consumed his figure. The flap of raven wings could be heard for an instant as his birdly body flew swiftly back to the Hellsing organization at a blinding velocity. The raven's figure leaving a white streak acrossed the night sky as he traversed the air. |

Shaking a spare Nazi off of him and leaping high into the air to land several feet to the side of the army's mass, Kyphus braced himself to fire the sonic cannon with the little charge that was left. Would the matrix survive another blow? Would Kyphus survive this blow?
Bah! To hell with it! Why was he worrying. For the longest time he had tried to find a convenient way to kill himself. Better now than never. Digging himself into teh earth before the Nazis could aright to track him, Kyphus unloaded the remaining charge. ... Passing from the waking world, Kyphus uttered, "50". Then, it was black. Black as the day he first awoke. |

He disregaurded the words she spoke completely as he came up right next to her, perhaps a millimeter away, if that. His left arm remained by his side, while his right rested momentarily upon her shoulder, before sliding up her neck so that the side of his index finger presently rested below her chin, while his thumb lightly caressed her soft cheek. His imposing yet intimate figure loomed close to her, gazing into her eyes with a mixture of deep respect, great devotion, and sheer passion. Their faces were now just inches apart. He mused that turning this promising, beautiful apprentice for himself was perhaps the reason for his exceptional performance just moments earlier, before stowing such thoughts for later.
"My dear," Mernov said in a rather alluring tone, his rich voice reverberating about the stone walls, "There will be no need for such apologies." And that was that; he would neither hear nor accept any further argument. "As for your help, while i greatly appreciate your desire to assist me, you needn't worry about such things. While age harms humans, I am not bothered in the slightest -- now, of course, you have joined me in this. When I am confident that you can destroy or otherwise disable any opponent set before you, there will be no question of your accompanying me wherever my travels take me. For," Mernov paused, moving so close that he felt her nose press against his own, his lips brushing hers lightly, perhaps intentionally, perhaps not. "You must train and gather as much wisdom as you are ready to receive. Shall we continue where we left off?" |

Erika wondered to herself, confused. With a shrug she turned and followed him, trotting up the steps after him. She waved sarcastically at the still large hoarde of Nazis waving and whistling at her. Erika continued walking down the hall after she heard the loud 'thud' of the wooden doors close behind her, Wolfgang following after. Reaching out with a gloved hand, Erika brought down the handle of the door and pushed it aside, entering Wolfgang's office where the record from earlier was spinning without sound. She removed her hat, placing it on the rack beside the door. Pushing her hair from her face, she turned to Wolfgang, holding out her hands with a smile as she waited for her Master to place his hat into her hands.
"What can I get for you, mein Herr?" she asked, sincerely.[/color:dab0f344cb] The girl felt her face burn as Mernov leaned closer to her, and felt as if her blood vessels were going to explode as his lips brushed up against hers. She broke away in a fit of embarassment and nervousness, stepping back only enough so that only the tip of his fingers were still on her chin. Once again Jeanne looked down, smiling weakly. "I would.. l-love to.. if it would please you, my Master." she replied, looking up into Mernov's eyes with a bright, youthful gaze. Jeanne sought nothing but to make Mernov happy. While he had turned her into the living dead, he had taken her from that horrible excuse for a life that she had led previously. She raised her right hand and touched Mernov's softly, quickly retracting her hand in submission. With a shy smile she put her arms in front of her, lacing her fingers together. "I'm ready when you are, my Master.." |

He removed his hat, and hung it on the rack next to Erika's. He then removed his long coat that had been drenched in his own blood, and threw it over the chair behind his desk. He had too much on his mind. He glanced up at Erika, and began to speak almost emotionless, "I can't believe after all these years of being your master that you can adhear to one's simple tongue so easily..." He then lowered his head and walked over to stand beside Erika's small figure, his eyes locking onto her's from above. His tone rose in volume somewhat as he asked of her, "You do know that you fell for Mernov's seduction?"
He brought up a hand to stroke it along the cut open her face with the brim of his knuckles. After removing his hand from the wound, it was healed, revealing nothing more than a very faint line from the cut. [/color:10c6696c25] As Odakira's form flashed into the hallway, his raven-form became it's original humanic form as it soon paced slowly down the hallway. He glanced over into an open room to see Mernov and Jeanne within. They seemed to be quite intimate with each other, and rather close. The memory of seeing Wolfgang and Erika shot through his mind once again. He did remembered seeing sorrow in his nemesis' eyes. If Mernov had seduced Erika in his control, then... He shook his head to the thought, it was a well thought out ploy Mernov had come up with. It worked perfectly. His white cloak flapped behind him as he continued to traverse the hall and up to the Helen's door. He then gave a light tap at the door, hoping for some response to to his action. |

Her eyes rose to meet with his, a look of honest disbelief in her eyes; she really didn't remember the whole ordeal. She closed her eyes as he raised his hand, expecting him to strike her; Erika was relieved to feel his knuckles merely brush up against her skin, healing the cut. When the feeling of his hand left her cheek, she looked up to him.
