Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | A mist had formed some time ago, unnoticed due to the fog that had already been there. In it, Shadows and Kyphus waited. Then they heard it :
"Take care of the woman!" Shadows nodded to Kyphus, it was time. They assumed corporeal form, right next to the dark orb. They were in luck, the vampire had pursued Mernov instead. Shadows immediately conjured his dark tiger, Charon, and had him attack Erika to hold her at bay as well. "Now, Kyphus, now!" he yelled, prepared to leap into the soon-to-be shattered orb and mist Helen away from this battle. *** Charon knew it's master's bidding, it immediately raced for the Nazi vampire, silent as is its wont, and attempted to sink it's own fangs into her arm. |

Mernov immediately understood the meaning behind Odakira's words, but unfortunately was unable to act upon them; his path was blocked by the young nazi woman. He grinned toothily as he saw her and heard her accent, which spoke crisply of German. So, the original Nazi party had survived since the days of Hitler, and still had vampire members? Fascinating, although unexpected to be sure. Mernov had fought freelance on both sides of that war not long ago in his lifespan, and seeing the uniform brought back memories. "Ahh, a Nazi," Mernov said with interest, his deep voice resonating throughout the air. "It has been a long time indeed. Der Fuhrer would have been proud of your uniforms, I am sure." OOC: I want to see Erika's reaction before I finish this post, if nobody else minds... Yes, the time of stuff will be a bit wierd, but that's okay... they're vampires! :D |

"Why are you fighting against your own kind?!" She glared at him, turning away from him slightly to walk towards the orb. "And, well, we've tried to keep our uniforms in good condition. We're awaitng the day our Fuhrer returns to u--" she stopped as she saw a large tiger coming at her. It lept at her arm, seeming ready to rip her arm off... if she hadn't been paying attention. She grinned toothily, merely stepping aside as the tiger flew by.
"WELL now... I see we've failed to keep our end of the deal, have we not? I believe Mein Herr specified that only you, Mernov, and Odakira were to come along. I'm afraid we'll just have to do something about that won't we." Erika turned her head toward's Mernov. "You've made a grave mistake."[/color:d1fa150046] |

Shadows, you idiot! Mernov sent telepathically to his friend. If he did not handle this situation delicately, they would be discovered and stealth would be lost sooner than they could afford. Mernov looked at the tiger and pointed at him, then twisted his arm so that he could use his outstreched finger to beckon it to him. "Charon," Mernov said to it. "I don't believe I gave you permission to attack!" He paused, trying to assuage its confusion mentally as well as allow time for Erika to understand what was going on -- or at least what Mernov hoped to show was going on. He turned back to the young nazi before continuing. "You'll have to forgive him; he's too playful for his own good! I let him out for excersize earlier and forgot to send him home; he must have followed me here." Another pause, to look down at the tiger, directly in the eyes. "If you would be so kind as to leave us be, for a moment? We have much to discuss!" The tiger hesitated slightly, then its form became obscure as it melted into darkness and disappeared within the earth, a dark mist evaporating from the ground where it had been. "Now, I should apologize for that... inconvenience," Mernov said, hoping that she would buy it. He supposed it was convincing enough, but he prepared for the worst. "Where were we?" |

He knew that they were not alone now.
He quickly piveted his feet, ruffling the dead leaves on the cemetary ground below his boots. As his eyes came to meet the large body of the tiger, they widened with rage as to the distrust the vampires outed to the Nazis. He let out a grunt, then sharply piveted with his blade in hand outward, the tip of it grazing the front of Odakira's chest, lashing out a vile spillage of his crimson ooze. As his body fluidly moved with the spin, he kicked one foot off to land directly beside Erika's standing. "Vas ist das!?" He shouted in a mild frustration to the enemy. "We wished a fair fight, and all you people can do is this!?" He heaved a heavy breathe, letting out a shivering sigh as his body began to shake as rage flowed through his arteries. "Two against three vampires, and a ravaging tiger!?" He knew that Shadows was in the area. A tiger doesn't just leap out of no where. There was a fourth opponent, but he couldn't pin-point it's location in the depths of his mind. To this, he threw out his sword in a swing, the blade emitted a wave of the material the orbs were made of. It sent a shrill line of darkness at the people, knocking them off balance and further injuring Odakira. "Withdraw your men now Odakira, or I shall order Erika to kill the girl..." He held his hand up, his index finger and thumb met together at an apex, ready to signal Erika to do so.[/color:ea7d848068] Odakira seen how much faster Wolfgang had became, he remained still to see if there was any respect in him left for his teacher. He soon found there was none as he took the blow to the chest. Odakira stumbled back a bit from the force of the attack, but did not hold his chest as it streamed blood off his form and cloak. His eyes narrowed as he watched Wolfgang's figure fly to land beside Erika. His words were true though, he had a reason to be outraged by the odds against him and Erika. When he swung the blade outwards and sent the wave of darkness at him, he jumped only to be caught in a freefall forward. Luckily, he had flipped to land on his feet. The darkness had a cold touch to it, colder than his own body... |
| Vern_5 Joined: 31 May 2005 Posts: 212 | While Shadows dropped them off and released his creepy tiger, Kyphus took his time setting up the Sonic Cannon. If he did not, there was no telling what the stress from the Cannon might do to his body. He had to firmly plant his arms and feet into the terrain, making sure that he was properly anchored. He knew he was wasting time for Helen and the others, but that was the way it had to be done.
Finally, after a short delay, Kyphus was ready. Time, now, for the cannon. Opening his jaw to its maximum extent, Kyphus willed the device into action. Immediatly, the internal matrix started its spin, generating the precise tone that Kyphus remembered from their previous encounter with the Nazi woman's shield. Matrix at full spin and a suitable charge aquired, Kyphus released the pure fury of his Sonic Cannon. |
| Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Shadows had felt the cold, the vile darkness, but he had already focused to much on his mission. He paid no attention to it as the Sonic Cannon went off. The orb, under such a short distance and heavy sound waves, shattered almost instantly. Shadows leapt into the middle of these waves and grabbed an unconcious Helen from the ruins. He felt the soundwaves blasting at him for only a moment, for he dissolved into mist a moment later. He reappeared at Hellsing, and set her back on her bed in her room, but did not lock the door as he left. As he reappeared on the battlefield, and only a few seconds had passed.
"You'll have to forgive us on the whole 'fairness' thing," he said to Erika, who he reappeared near. "But as long as you had a hostage, it simply wouldn't be fair." He waved his hand and Charon had reappeared, coming straight out of his dark portal at his master's feet. He growled, baring his fangs at the Nazi vampire. "Shall we just leave now, or do you think Odakira needs some assistance?" he asked Mernov. |

To this, he rose his hand into the sky, the clouds swirled above him rapidly as light emitted from the sky above, a bolt of lightning streaked down and smacked his open palm. After a blinding flash of light, a stream of randomblue hues was in his hand, forming a iridescent blue sword of lightning in his clutches. He then dashed blindly at Wolfgang and swung into his torso, the blade created a crackling noise as its velocity traversed the air. [color=brown:de40e77015]He quickly snaped is blae up into a parry, the clash of the two blades created a small showckwave about their figures. Wolfgang continued to push, further and further, his rage becoming his power and fuel. Knowing now that the human was gone, he became even more angered. Taking oppurtunity, he brought his knee up into Odakira's gut, then brought his rightarm up to smash the hilt-guard of the dark blade into his face. As Odakira fell back onto the ground once again, he turned and looked to Mernov and Shadows, his eyes set at their figures, ready to kill. He brought his sword up and sent out another, yet more cataclysmic wave of darkness at them with a ferocious swing of his blade.[/color:de40e77015] |

She was back on the bed in the mansion from earlier. Silence filled the air around her, and she laid back against the soft pillows.
I'm alone... again, she thought to herself. A happy bark met her ears, and she looked to the side of the bed. The lab was doing his best to get up to her. "Jo-jo," Helen laughed and helped him onto the bed. She winced as Jo-jo licked her face excitedly. She pushed him away and calmed him down. She then slipped out of bed and gingerly made her way to the door. She smiled when she found it unlocked, but Jo-jo whined. "There's no way I'm staying in there," Helen said stubbornly. "What if that Nazi woman comes back? This will be the first place she'll look for me." She stepped out of the room and began to slowly walk down the dark corridor. Every once in a while she would try to open the door; some would be locked, while others would be open. Finally she came across the library. Her green eyes shone like a child in a candy shop, as she slipped in and closed the door. "This seems like a safe place to stay for a while," she said slyly to the pup. "Don't you agree, Jo-jo?" Jo-jo barked, and Helen began to meander her way between the shelves. |
| Vern_5 Joined: 31 May 2005 Posts: 212 | Reeling from the force of his own creation, Kyphus meandered out onto the battlefield with the same impact as a drunk walking into a king's chambers. That blast had taken quite a lot out of him, not just electrically but also physically. Something about the sonic matrix was loosening the fabric of Kyphus' being and he felt that he was somewhat "expanded". Then he saw the developing events of the battle.
"Uh, I feel there is something I should be doing," Kyphus said dizzily as Odakira was knocked to the earth. So severe was his fatigue that he did not even notice the rushing wave of energy that shone like a purple sun in the darkness of his mind. |
| Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Shadows put one hand on Charon's furry back and dissolved into mist. The wave of darkness passed through their misty forms, doing little damage. Rematerializing, Shadows looked back at Mernov, baring his fangs in a grin.
"So then, would you like my help, or am I going to go home then?" he asked, petting his tiger as he spoke. Charon purred softly. OOC:the last sentence is there for the hell of it. |

"You'll know if I need your help," Mernov said with a hint of "let me be" in it. He shortly added to this, allowing himself a grin. "It'll be a cold day in hell when I need your help, Shadows." He then turned to the young Nazi woman, wondering what she would do. |

"That hurts, man," he said, shaking his head. "That really burns...I'll just sit over here, then?" With that he turned and sat on the ground, leaning against a tombstone and closing his eyes. |
| Vern_5 Joined: 31 May 2005 Posts: 212 | Kypus was knocked onto his back by the advancing wave of darkness. it had not damaged his systems too much, but it was a pain. But, when Kyphus recovered he felt slightly better than he had before. INspecting himself he realized that he was as thin as he ha originally been. It seemed the blast had pounded his frame back into order, or so he suspected. Realizing his repaired state, Kyphus turned to the others.
"Is there anything I might do to help?" Kyphus asked innocently. |

"No, but you can just take a seat and watch this show." he said, smiling smugly. "You get to watch Mernov kick this little Nazi's backside all over this graveyard, though...well, I guess you can't watch it, can you...? I don't really know, but hey, it'll be a good show!" OOC:he's really just trying to get you attack him, he's not content to sit around and watch a fight :P |
