Kyphus did not see the complication. If everyone was as good as he thought they were, this operation could be done without a hitch. Then he remembered, Kyphus had to stay behind to fight for his life. Suddenly, Kyphus was not so eager to get into this fight. |

He led Kyphus and himself out into the garden of the Hellsing foundation. There he stood, waiting for Kyphus to display the weapon once again.
He closed his eyes, the gust of wind emitting from his body once again, and the clouds began to swirl. Little flashes of light above him began to fill the sky now. "Are you ready, Kyphus?" [color=brown:d4e8eb1a71] "Not again..." Wolfgang whispered to himself, seeing the clouds swirl over the same area again. He brought two of his fingers to stick into his ear sockets for in case another wave came along. The nazis outside the tavern starting to shout for the others to preapre for another boom. All the Nazis grabbed nearby lightpoles or onto the cemetary's fence. Some stood in the road, kneeled, having their ears plugged as well.[/color:d4e8eb1a71] |

This time, Kyphus was far more aware of what he was doing. He launched his clawed limbs into the soft earth and spread them to keep himself from flying off the ground. If the last blast had been the result of a spark, this new blast would surely tear the town off its foundations. The necessary lightning rod extended itself once again from the top of his spine "Alright, Odakira," Kyphus shouted. "Give me a storm!!!" |

He then clenched his fists and brought them up as he let out a banshee-like warcry. The wind around him began to kick up and became a twister. The wind ravaged the clouds above to soon tear open a hoel in the mist. Erupting came a streaking bright white bolt of electricity.
As it came down and contacted Kyphus' figure, it shook the ground tremendously, but did not cause fissures in the ground itself. The power of the bolt create an immense crackle at the distance the group stood at it from. It felt as if their eardrums would burst. As the lightning vanished, nothing but a trail of smoke that went to the sky was left. The wind died and the twister dissipated into the air. Out of the midst of the smoke and burnt earth, Odakira was kneeled, heaving to catch his breath. He had never put that much effort into a single bolt of lightning before. [color=brown:85d89ea41e]Wolfgang's eyes widened as a twister formed in the distance. The wind started to swirl and throw the dead leaves amongst the ground into the air. He brought an arm up to shield his eyes, and so did the other Nazis outside the cemetary, as the bright light became more ominous. When the bolt streaked down from the sky, he grumbled to himself as the wind strengthened, "You've become strong Odakira...!!" As the wind died, a shrill thunderous explosion emitted from the bolt's direction as it struck the ground. It shook the earth somewhat, but all the Nazi's stood tall still. He then shouted out in the direction of the light, "But you are NOT strong enough!!!"[/color:85d89ea41e] |

"Give me your claw." he said, putting out his hand. "When we reappear, attack the black orb with your sonic wave. Once the orb is gone, stop. Do not hurt the human." And with that, he took the claw and descended into mist. |

"um, forgive me, but the sheer power of this charge is...energizing" From his rooted position in the ground, Kyphus extended a hand to Shadows so he could whisp them (or whatever the hell it was) to the young lady. "Shadows, I'm afraid I wont be able to stop the Sonic cannon even after I've destroyed the sphere. The blast will last for quite awhile after I've used it, so be prepared to grab Helen and get the hell out of there before I destroy everything. Because I will." |

She stared at the nothingness around her, and then stood up slowly and paced agitatedly from one side to the other. It wasn't the darkness that she feared, but the emptiness that almost smothered her. It seemed to be an endless night as far as the eye could see. She wished she could have been locked in that room again at least she could have watched the flames dance upon the logs, or counted the cracks in the wall, or even studied the way the fabric was woven on the furniture.
Helen shivered and folded her arms across her chest for warmth. Her coat was still in the room where she had been held. The Nazi vampires hadn't given her the chance to get it before they dragged her out to the cemetery. That was my favourite one too, she thought sadly as she tried her best to take her mind off her prison. Her head began to spin, so stopped pacing and sat down. I wonder what's going on out there... or wherever... Did they come? Did the Nazis win? Or did they kill the Nazi's? How wil they be able to get me out of this miserable hole? Am I stuck here forever? She massaged her temples, and groaned in frustration. I feel completely ignorant... and weak... and useless... and hungry... Her stomach growled loudly, demanding nourishment. Helen sighed, and hugged her knees to her chest and rested her chin on her knees as she stared off into space. OOC:How can a post about nothing be so long??? >.< |

He bent down so that his face was much closer to hers. He lowered his voice as well, to be at a soothing, almost seductive volume and tone. He gazed into her eyes almost hypnotically as he spoke to her.
"Apologize not, my love," the tall vampire said, his deep, resonant voice being perfect for the words he spoke. "You have done well and I am proud. Rest well, dear girl, for tomorrow is another night in which to develop your skills so that you may be by my side always." After he finished saying that, he seemed to slide backwards, his hand staying upon her soft cheek as long as it could before his entire being faded into darkness and disappeared completely. Arriving at what appeared to be the tail-end of a massive storm, Mernov stepped out upon the lawn. He sensed that the weather had been caused by Odakira and couldn't help but be impressed that this technicolor dreamcoat of a vampire had such mastery over the elements. "Should I assume that your preparatins are complete or nearly so?" Mernov asked everyone in general. OOC: no offense on the coat crack, just felt i should contribute one of my own ^_^ |

His tone was deep, and pretty much quiet, weakened from the power he just used. "Yes, everything is ready... We must go Mernov." To this, his figure flashed white, then jumped into the air, transforming into the Raven, flapping his wings into the smoky air, then streaking into a high-speed glide into the direction of the cemetary. The velocity of his figure left a faint white trail behind, giving a pretty good beacon for Mernov to follow, if ever need be...

Mernov glanced overhead to watch as Odakira flew away like some super-sonic jet. Mernov briefly wondered if a normal raven's body could withstand super-sonic speeds, but decided it would be too cruel a theory for even him to find test. Looking over at his friend Shadows, he gave him a look which said "You had better not get there like that." Though he appreciated the "beacon," Mernov had mentally followed the soundwave to the graveyard and could transport himself there faster than he could run or fly there. He waited a few seconds to allow the other vampire time to arrive at the cemetary, and in the meantime he mentally prepared himself for the battle ahead. Though he doubted he'd need to use his full strength, he prepared to nonetheless; Mernov was not in the business of underestimating his opponents, even if he was fighting a blackfly which had snuck into his room. He ALWAYS had ready a can of the most potent of bugsprays if he was unable to catch it between his fingers or palms, if the situation was that he was tired or hungry. "Remember," Mernov spoke to the two people before him, just before leaving. "Stealth is the key. While they must assume that more than myself and Odakira will greet them, they do not need any excuse to kill the girl. That is what you would tell me, I presume?" he said, looking at Shadows. "Be ready, things will start shortly." With that, he disappeared into darkness, reappearing at the cemetary next to Odakira. OOC: would it be bad of me to assume that you will eventually revert to human form? |

The Raven flew through the air, tearing through the sky with no flaw. The bird then plummeted into a straight dive for the ground, soon to flash and emerge into Odakira, who had piveted himself into a front flip to land on his feet in the midst of the cemetary. He stood straight from the rebound of the landing, looking to his right to see Mernov beside him, he whispered to him, for fear of others might be by. "Let's try to get this done flawlessly..." His tone was cold, he meant business. He then took his sights off of Mernov to look into the distance at the Cherry Hill. He could sense Wolfgang, he knew he was there. Erika wasn't though, it was strange. She never really did leave his sight. He remembered when she was a little girl, and would do nothing but stare holes into Wolfgang from a distance. It was love, indefinitly, but it would be sorrowful itself to depart them from this world. He then slowly began to traverse through the array of tombstones that surrounded him and Mernov. His figure was silent of any sound, and nothing could be heard of his domain. His white cloak was a most uncompromising thing for this backdrop. Out in the night and wearing all such a bright color. He did not care, for he knew action was to come sooner or later. The cloak flapped about him as if it were the wings of the Raven form he was. Mernov and him were behind the mound at which Wolfgang had sat. They saw the back of the crypt's entrance, seeming almost as if this were a sneak attack. He then whispered back to Mernov a second time. "I believe we should be more frontal about this, we don't want any harm to come to the girl." He explained. He knew Wolfgang, he didn't like foolishness, Wolfgang was a more up-front and meant business. Therefore, their approaching might be a little intimidating to their enemy. [color=brown:b3d38c315c]He could feel it, the streaking feathers of the Raven Whitewing traverse the air. The sonic boom was silent to the ears, but he could smell the air being burnt by it's speed. Odakira was here, he knew it. He stood from the monumental stone, he then turned and motioned the Nazi guards to go inside. The soldiers saluted and turned about, entering the run down mansion. The cold wind began to blow again, the rustling leaves seemed to calm Wolfgang's mind for battle, but he was in deep thought of something else. Erika. "Mein Frau..." He thought to himself. "If I cannot live from this, I promise, I will be waiting for you." His face was grim and emotionless to his thoughts. His eyes settled down to the ground as he leaned against the frontside of the Crypt's walls, opposite of where Odakira and Mernov had been traversing upon. The time for battle was nigh, it was coming close. The air of the cemetary became heavy, the undead themselves below seemed even to gasp for air in their coffins. Death was in the air... Mernov raised an eyebrow as he heard his companion speak, questioning the man's wisdom. He decided to respect it, however, as he seemed to know this "Wolfgang" from a previous encounter. He nodded silently and began to walk in silence through the multitude of gravestones towards the front of the cemetary. When he arrived, he began to walk up towards the entrance, but then paused, looking back at his brightly-colored friend. "Any other things I should know before we go in there?" the tall vampire asked. |

He then responded to Mernov's words, "No, I'm sure we have seen everything he can do... At least I'm for sure..." He cracked the knuckles of his fingers as he tensed them into round fists. The action was here, and now.
As they came upon the steps of the crypt, he stopped to see a shadowy figure come up from the dark hall that lead inside the crypt itself. It was Wolfgang... [color=brown:71a54cd654]He walked from the entrance slowly, his arms behind his back and each step he took made a clomp from the heels of his knee-high boots. "Ah, Wilkommen..." He said, his voice cackling with a freezing breath. His tall figure seeming to overcome both of the two vampires before him. "Shall we beginnt this lesson, Raven Whitewing?" He asked, his eyes studying the tattered cloth and stained blood amongst Odakira's body. Seeing this to have been easier than he thought from Erika's previous actions, he knew this to be a good thing. He took a step forward again, in the direction of the white vampire, as his boot clomped to the ground, it seemed to make the earth shake below them all. Wolfgang then threw out his right hand openly, a small orb amongst it was formed in the palm. He entangled and closed the fingers into a fist, the orb shattering and forming some sort of ethereal, black blade. He then charged at Odakira, who had jumped back in reply to Wolfgang's threatening posture to allow room for getting the Orb. Wolfgang was smarter than this though, he knew what Odakira was doing, he, afterall, was his student. He let out a loud roar, a command towards the mansion, knowing that 'she' was ready. "Erika! Take care of the woman!"[/color:71a54cd654] "Mernov!" He shouted, lunging back from Wolfgang's movements, "Get the orb!" He knew it wasn't Mernov's mission, but he couldn't allow himself to let Shadows be caught, so he must make it look as though they were the only ones that were there for the girl. |

She grinned, toothily, shoving the doctor away and pushing her way through the numerous Nazis that watched over her. "Javol, mein Herr.." she whispered sinisterly, making a mad dash for the mansion doors. Many of the other Nazis tried to stop her, saying that Wolfgang would be able to handle it and that they didn't want to see her injured. These men she punched in the stomach, cursing at them as she burst open the doors of the mansion. As she ran down the staircase and towards the cemetary, a few of the men noticed that the woman had left decently large cracks in the door. "Vell, she looks like she'll be fine." the doctor commented, chuckling to himself.
"MEIN HERR!", Erika shouted, smiling. The Nazi grinned when she saw Mernov. She lept up the stairs that led into the graveyard and skidded to a stop in front of Mernov. Erika licked her fangs, smiling toothily as she looked him over. "So you're Mernov, ja?" she asked. "Hmm, well, I certainly cannot allow you to take the madchen..." she said, trailing off. She straightened out her jacket, her eyes narrowing as she stared down Mernov.[/color:0240566608] |
