Erika grinned widely and trotted after Wolfgang, holding onto her jacket so that it wouldn't fall from her small frame. Once again, Erika shut and locked the door, placing a barrier on both the dorr and knob. She had an ear-to-ear grin as she walked beside Wolfgang back to his office. When they enetered, Erika fall into one of the plush leather chairs once more as Wolfgang entered after and shut the door.

"Ah... that was fun, ja?" she said happily. The vampiress removed her hat and wiped her brow, standing up once more to walk over to where Wolfgang was. She hung her cover on a free hook on the coat stand, and then looked up at Wolfgang as she pulled her jacket back on over her slightly sweaty blouse. "I'm so glad that I pleased you, mein Herr. Really." she said, fumbling with the buttons on her jacket. "Ah, and I can't thank you enough for giving me the opportunity!" Erika smiled. Wolfgang eally had done so much for her; she couldn't thank him nearly enough. At last she finished buttoning her jacket and donned her belt once more. Her hair had become slightly more worse for the wear from the fight, and so once more Erika removed her hair clip, letting her golden tresses fall onto her shoulders.

"So, is there anything else that I can do for you, master?" she inquired, smiling as she decided to put the clip in her breast pocket; she felt she wouldn't be encumbered by her long hair if she were merely going to be talking to Wolfgang.[/color:3c52cf4052]

Closing the door, he turned to see how worn Erika was. He walked over from behind her, seemingly not to have heard her words. He brought his hand around her neck, his fingertips stroking her flesh softly then coming up under her chin to lift her face up. He looked down amongst her face to study the burn that the human woman had left, tilting his head with immense curiousity of what it might of felt like.

Wolfgang barely understood pain, for the use of his barriers, he has never been touched in battle, except once... And only once...

"Wie gehts?" he asked of her, his hand coming up from her neck to lean against the back of the chair she sat upon, his other hand sheathing his baton in his belt and bringing it to rest on the other side of the chair's back.[/color:9da9252a08]

If the embers from her previous excursion had not left any red on her face, there certainly was now. Erika could feel her face burning hotter than the flames in which she had heated her weapon not very long ago. Her hands trembled slightly, and her heart beat faster and faster as she raised her ruby eyes to meet with Wolfgang's. The way in which Erika spoke conveyed the way she felt: "Ich... Ich bin...", she swallowed, "...g-gut...". The vampiress could barely speak; she felt now the same as she had when Wolfgang had turned her all those years ago. She was nearly speachless. Wolfgang had never touched her or looked at her in such a manner before.

"There was... no... no way that a... human could defeat me... And those embers..." she paused, taking a deep breath, for she was finding it difficult to breathe from the speed of her heart, "... they were nothing. I decided not to use my barrier so that it would be more enter...taining.." Erika felt all the blood in her body rushing to her face, leaving her brain; she almost felt as if she were about to faint. "I hope... I did not dissapoint you, mein Herr..." When he removed his hand she dropped her head down, her chin meeting her cheast. Her hair fell into her face, obstructing her field of vision. Erika's heart still beat faster than ever, as she could still feel Wolfgang's presence in front of her chair, though she could not see it.[/color:34c001a208]

Obviously, she was in pain. He could feel the pain himself through the blood of his apprentice. He placed his hand uon her cheek, it gave off a cool sensation which decreased the pain at which the burn radiated. Within her skin, tiny molecular barriers were being made around her blood cells, he moved them quickly through her bloodstream and veins of her face to soon heal the wound. When he removed his hand, nothing but a slight spackle from a burn was left.

"Arbeit werden lügen Sie nicht..." He said softly after having leaned forward and whispering to her ear. After so, he gave a friendly pat on the side of her arm, his warm smile about his face. He then turned and removed the baton from his belt, placing it on the desk before him, then removing his hat as well as a few strands of his golden hair fell over one eye. He didn't mind, so he didn't make the effort to wipe them away.

He turned again to his side and walked over to the cabinet where the wine resided, but kneeled down, opening another cabinet below that seemed to have been a built-in ice box. He reached in and grabbed something from it's midst. He closed it, stood and grabbed another wine glass, turned, and headed over to Erika.

"Für Ihre bemühung." He said proudly, tossing a cooled, medical blood-bag to her lap. He gave off another warm smile when he looked up to her, his gaze deep a lulling as he held out that glass for her to take. [/color:115049c5de]

Helen glared at the two vampires as they left from where she sat on the floor. Only when she heard the click of the door being locked did she allow herself lay on her back with her legs straight out and her arms placed neatly at her side on the cold stone floor. She stared up at the ceiling, and reveiwed the battle in her mind. She realized that there had been really no chance she would have won the fight. Even if Helen had figured out away to get past the girl's inhuman strength and agility, her master woud have probably beaten the crap out of her to save his companion. The duel had been won before she even started.

Stupid Nazi vampires, Helen thought bitterly as she gritted her teeth and stood up, though her body groaned in protest. That's exactly what this world needs; Nazis with super strentgh and inhuman speed. Wasn't bathing in the blood of thousands of innocent people enough? Obviously it wasn't, since now they have to drink it to survive.

Helen lifted her shirt just enough so that she could inspect the damage. It was not a pretty sight. The skin had turned black where the poker had touched her side, and large, angry blisters surrounded the charred flesh. She hissed in pain as she lowered her shirt. Helen winced and hissed as her fingers brushed against the burn on her neck.

She slowly lowered herself into a comfortable armchair, and placed her fingertips together as she stared into the fire. It could have been worse, Helen thought. I could have died... but they weren't here to kill me, not yet anyway. They probably became bored, and needed to be entertained. Then again, it could have been much worse. They could have continued to torture me when I lost. It just a couple of little burns...

Those two little burns were giving Helen extreme uncomfort. They throbbed in pain constantly, and every time Helen moved her head or shifted in the armchair, pain shot through her body. Tears filled her eyes as she looked around the room for a weapon, moving her head as slow as she could. The pokers were not an option any more, since the vampire had thrown both of the pokers into it. Now, a few decorative vases, the ash shovel and the tiny broom that was used to sweep up the hearth was all she had left. Even if she did make it out of the room, where would she go? Helen didn't even know where she was! Her situation seemed quite hopeless.

She closed her eyes and meditated until she was able to overcome the pain, and fall asleep. Helen's sleep did not seem restful at all. Her body was rigid and her back was straight in the chair, and she frowned as if she was having a bad dream. Every once in a while her breath would shudder, and she would moan softly in pain, but she did not wake from her fitful slumber.

If it had been possible for Erika's cheeks to turn a brighter shade of red, the most certainly had when Wolfgang had leaned foward and whispered in her ear. She felt her body shiver slightly before he patted her arm and went to the cabinet. The vampiress put her hand on her cheast, thinking that it would somehow help her heart to hinder it's speed. She jumped slightly when the ice cold blood packet fell onto her bare thighs, saying 'Ah, das ist kalt.' quietly to herself. Erika held the cold packet in her hands and looked up to Wolfgang as he handed her the wineglass. "But, Mein Herr... I cannot take this. I barely put a few scratches on the girl.." Erika looked down at the packet in her hands. She could the saliva fill up her mouth only to be swallowed once more. With the slight scent of blood so close, it was all that she could do to keep from drinking it.

"If anything, I should be punished for not having done more, Wolfgang." she said, looking up at him, her face still noticably red.[/color:81a443d06c]

He knew now Erika's true feelings, just by the look on her face and her reddened cheeks, he was determined that she had feelings for him. When she started to talk of how she did not deserve it, he pressed his index finger on her lips lightly to silence her. "Shh..." He shushed, then stood straight once again, placing his arms behind his back, enlacing each of his hands together.

"No, you deserve more for being such a successful apprentice." He said in a light-hearted tone. "Das ist die einzige kalte Getränk ich habe." He added on. "Besides, you'll need much energy for tonight." His wide grin came about his face once again, taking a step back to lean against the desk behind him, unraveling his hands to support himself up as he gazed down at Erika's beauty.

He then spoke out contently, "Trinken es auf..."

"I'll get to work on the sonic cannon," Kyphus bowed before trotting off on all fours. "Oh, and even if it doesn't work, a sonic cannon has so many more uses" he grinned happily.

Kyphus was back upstairs in some ill-used room making what he needed. Rods and wires needed placement, engines needed their proper attachments. Kyphus gussed he had everything he needed and then some but there was on key item he lacked: some kind of music box. Now where would Kyphus find a music box at dawn..?

Feeling slightly relieved, Erika looked down at the packet. She hesitated for a second before closing her eyes and sinking her teeth into the cold bag. A shiver of pleasure ran up her spine; it had been quite some time since she'd had any blood. The sensation of the cold liquid passing over her fangs and down her throat was almost intoxicating. She had been so caught up in her aroused blood lust that Erika had forgotten the glass which Wolfgang had offered her. Erika looked up, embarassed. "Sorry.." she chuckled, taking the glass. The vampiress poured the blood into the wine glass and gazed at it momentarily. When Erika had finished off her reward, she licked her lips and stood, placing the glass on the desk. She turned to look at Wolfgang softly, pushing a few strands of hair from her eyes behind her ear. "Danke, Wolfgang" she said. Erika began to feel slightly uneasy when she noticed that Wolfgang seemed to be watching her intently.

"Was ist falsch, mein Herr?", she inquired. She looked into his ruby eyes, seeing her own reflected in them. The young girl reached towards his face, hesitated, and then pushed a few of his bangs from his face. Her hand trembling, she began to return it to it's place at her waist, but ran her fingers along his cheek before doing so. She jumped, shocked that she had actually touched him. "Ah, I'm sorry, mein Herr.. I didn't mean to." she said, looking down. Idiot... IDIOT! she scolded herself.[/color:f0aeb3a2c8]

He stammered slightly to her touch, his cheeks reddened and his mouth twisted with nervousness. He looked into her eyes somewhat intimidated, seeing that they were full of lust and seduction. Her grazing touch felt soft, and warming. He could feel the warmth of his heart kick up again. When the touch left, it became cold once more. He knew this feeling, it was long ago when he first had it.

Having lost a family due to starvation, his mother and father, and his younger sister from the depression created by World War I. He never wanted to lose that feeling, but he did, and here it was again, right in front of him. He couldn't let this fall from his grasp a second time.

"Nein, nein..." He said softly to her as she apologized, taking a step towards her presence to stand in front of her. He reached out and turned her head to face her with the tips of his fingers at the bottom of her chin. His eyes were locked with hers, lullingly displaying their colors.

"I completely understand, Erika..." He said almost in a whisper, "In fact..."

Should I say...? Well, I already started, might as well finish it, but... What if she isn't ready?

Letting a slight sigh of trouble pass through his mouth, he glanced down at the floor as he continued to speak. "I-I....I feel the same way..." He looked up, his eyes now closed as he cleared his throat. As they opened, he spoke out again, his tone seeming normal as if he were starting all over again.

"I feel the same for you..." As he spoke he took another step closer to her, his figure slightly taller than hers, glancing down into her eyes deeply with passion. They remained locked onto the very center of her optic's pupils, motionless and awaiting the reaction of his words and admitting of feelings towards her. Hoping not to have upset her, fearing that she might leave out of sheer emotion.[/color:33d9a9748b]

Erika's heart skipped a beat. He didn't really just say that... she told herself. There's... there's no way! The vampiress was having severe difficulty with bringing herself to look away from Wolfgang. His stare was intense, almost intoxicating. Erika felt, for the first time, as if she were going to cry. She was overwhealmed with emotion. The Nazi almost took a step away; it was too good to be true. Erika could feel the sting of tears at the corners of her eyes as she looked up at Wolfgang. For the longest time, Erika had loved him. However, she had always told herself not to be upset when the time came for him to move on and leave her behind; she'd always assumed that her love would remain unrequited. But now, contrary to all her beliefs, here he was, confessing what she thought she would never hear.

Erika's hands trembled; her knees felt as if they were giving out. She had no idea why his words had created such a huge impact on her emotional being. "Mein Herr, I..." she whispered. The young girl was at a loss for words; she had no idea what to do. Why was love rendering her so helpless? The tears that had welled up finally escaped, running down her cheeks slowly. The girl turned her head away once more, forcing herself to break the gaze before he saw her tears. At last, Erika's knees gave up, and she fell foward into Wolfgang. Gripping his jacket, she buried her face in his strong cheast as she felt more tears coming.

Perhaps her emotional reaction was from her childhood. Erika had been born alone, and she lived her life alone. She had hated the world for the way she lived. Why was she alone? There was no one there who cared for her, she thought. For eighteen years of her life, Erika had lived this way; hating people, hating life.. She had no emotions but hate. And yet, when Wolfgang and other vampiric Nazis had entered her town, she had gladly let them take her. Over the past year and a half, Erika had gradually learned other emotions that she never knew existed. One had been building up gradually within her that she shut away whenever it surfaced, and this time she wasn't able to do as such.

Erika looked up at Wolfgang, still sobbing lightly. She opened her mouth, and for a few seconds she didn't speak. At length, she said: "Do you... are you... telling me the truth?"

When she turned away, he looked to the ground, feeling that his fear had come to smack him in the face. Feeling that life itself was going to be hard for the remainder of what life he had left. His eyes glanced up as he spoke out to her in a whisper again, "Erika...." Then she fell into him.

He wrapped his arms around her small figure gracefully to stop her fall. He could feel the wetness of her tears coming trough his shirt and onto his chest. He looked down amongst her, his eyes becoming soft and blurred. He brought up one of his hands to stroke his fingertips through her hair delicately, a small smile about his face.

"It's okay..." he said softly, his words wooing to her ears gracefully, "This is real... I know it as well as you do." He added, gazing back down at her as she looked up to him. He tilted his head to one side, then slowly bent his head down, placing a soft kiss on her forehead, then grasping her figure firmly against his own.

It was already high noon of the day. Only hours remained for the meeting of the Two Sides. Fate was going to be an undeniable role at this event...[/color:c7795d8d3d]

Erika nodded slightly, closing her eyes and resting her cheek on Wolfgang's cheast. She wrapped her arms around his back, feeling safe in his arms. A small sigh of relief escaped her delicate lips as she stood there, listening to Wolfgang's heartbeat. Listening to it somehow calmed her. The reason why, the young Nazi couldn't even think up herself. At last, the flow of tears seemed to dwindle down and stopped, something Erika was more than happy to have happen.

Regretfully, Erika released her hold on Wolfgang and looked up at him, smiling. As she wiped the remainder of the tears from her eyes, she whispered, "Dankeschön, mein Herr." She glanced over at the painting of the Fuhrer one last time and smiled as a sense of warmth and ease overcame her. Erika looked about the room for a moment and, when she saw the record player, trotted over to it and shuffled through the records, picking out a record with the Brandenburg Concerto on it. She gently pulled it out of its sleeve and set it onto the record player. The young woman pushed her hair behind her ears, closing her eyes and listening to the orchestra as each part came in on cue. She turned to Wolfgang, blushing from slight embarassment. "Forgive me. This has just been my favorite song... I remember hearing it when I first entered Auschwitz with you so many years ago." She smiled, feeling nostalgic.[/color:64604dd3da]

"Ah." He let out, the sweet symphonic music sweeping acrossed the dark room. Indeed it was beautiful, the melodies rang gracefully acrossed their ears. He took in a deep breath and let out a large sigh of relaxation. He walked over to where she stood, he wrapped his arm around her waist, his hand coming to the midst of her back, his other hand held out for her to grasp if she would accept his request.

"Obacht zum Tanzen?" He asked, his voice seemed posessing in it's request, almost as if it were a command. He let a wide smile bore across his face as he awaited her approval.[/color:5f3b8db49d]

Erika's face lit up as he took her by the hand and waist. "I-Ich würde zu lieben!" she replied happily. "Although... I'm not sure I know how, Mein Herr." She looked up at him pitifully, putting her left hand on his shoulder and lacing the fingers of her right with his. The young Nazi thought it would be best to let him take the lead; he probably knew what he was doing. She leaned her head against his cheast once more, smiling as she lived the happiest moment of her life. After what seemed like a lifetime, Erika caught a glimpse of the clock; it was nearly time.

She looked up into Wolfgang's eyes. "Mein Herr, the time..." she whispered, wishing she could stay like this with him forever. [/color:95acf611a3]
