His voice became sharp with darkness, "And you, my dear, shall has the pleasure of killing her, verstanden?"[/color:6d6f6f1c85] |

While he had no particular attachment for his woman, he sensed that his comrade did, and that was enough for him. Besides that, he owed that "Wolfgang" character something, and it wasn't something that could be wrapped in a box. Before he could speak, however, his apprentice quite literally "dropped in" to their "meeting."
"I am not entirely sure myself," Mernov said, his voice returning to normal. He turned back to Shadows, "well, we might as well speak above ground. Take her into the hallway, I'll dress properly and be right there." As the two people disappeared, he did so himself, reappearing several feet higher and back in his room; he figured the raising mechanism would be too slow for his impatient friend's taste. He quickly donned his other outfit which was crisp and clearn, appearing almost new despite its aged style. When Mernov emerged from his chambers, he wore an unexpectedly fancy suit for his line of work. It greatly resembled the tuxedos of the 18th century, having a high-collared shirt with a thin, blood-red bow-tie, a vest of similar color underneath a black tuxedo jacket, complete with tails. The cuff-links of his french-cuffed sleeves were, ironically, crosses. To top off this attire was a blood-red cloak, matching his vest and tie. Though slightly more aged than his other outfit, this was his all-time favorite and he still thought of it as his "new" outfit, though it was, in fact, much older than the one which had just been ruined. "So," the vampire said, "any ideas for a 'plan'?" |
| Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Shadows had moved Jeanne upstairs in a matter of seconds. He nodded at Mernov's question.
"Odakira should be fine by the evening," he said, beginning to outline his idea, "I can travel to the graveyard in mist form, and I may be able to take Kyphus with me. If they bring Helen with them, the two of us can appear, and I can take her to safety, but Kyphus will have to fight, because I cannot mist out two non-vampires at once. When that happens, you and peacock boy attack. With any small amount of luck, we should be good. Any objections?" |

When she rubbed her eyes and looked up at Mernov, she blushed and smiled. He was very handsome in his new attire. She took a few steps closer to him, hesitated, and then went by his side. She looked up to him and smiled. "What is it that we're planning?"
****** ****** Erika spun around when she heard Wolfgang's last statement. "You, you really mean it?!" The young woman covered her mouth; she was almost shouting. "I- I mean, thank you! Thank you mein Herr!" Erika was obviously happy that she were to do the torture. Any thoughts that Wolfgang sought to replace her were now gone and out of mind. Suddenly thirsty again Erika went back to the desk and poured a little more wine into her glass. Her back facing Wolfgang, she turned her head to see him momentarily and said: "Mein Herr, would you like any more?" [/color:06e4b4a804] |

He thought of it somewhat funnily. Nodding his head to her slightly to her question, he spoke out, "Ja mein fruende..."
As she came up and asked him for more, he gestured for her to have as much as he wanted, "Go ahead and take all you want, it's on me... I've had my fill for the day." He looked at what was left of the sanguine inside the crystal glass. Leaning back heavily on his chair as he studied Erika's expression.[/color:197a4eb530] |

She hadn't had more than a few glasses, so she felt she was fine. When she turned to look at Wolfgang, she smiled and looked back to the painting. The young Nazi heaved a light sigh and streatched her arms up high above her head, letting out a soft 'ahh..' when she was finished. Erika pulled her uniform straight once more, and returned to her spot leaning against the desk in front of Wolfgang.
"Really, Wolfgang. I don't know how to thank you. Not just for that, either. For, well, everything. For finding me, turning me, caring for me, and teaching me everything I know about our undead life and the Fuhrer.. I'm eternally grateful." she said, looking into his eyes and smiling when she had finished.[/color:96bfeaf4e1] OOC: more teh blah xD |

As he removed it from his lips and quenched his thirst, he lowered his hand to rest on his knee as he spoke out plainly, "I am not worthy of such thankful wishings. I am honored, but I cannot accept it..."
He seemed too embarassed to be regarded of so highly, "We all choose our destinies, or live by them. Just be happy that a man made your life better, that is all I could be praised for." His smile came across his face again, he bowed his head slightly, then gazed back up at the painting of the Fuhrer. He let out a sigh that seemed somewhat relaxing, though troubled, and spoke, "If it wasn't for that man, our lives would of never been so great..." He then raised his glass to the painting, then took another swig of the wine from the glass. [/color:739ed86f77] |

She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, and looked around the furnished prison. Another sneeze came and went. She uncurled herself, stood up to stretch, and looked around the room once more. Helen sneezed yet again.
"Hmm..." Helen thought aloud to herself as she stood by the fire. "Either I'm allergic to something... or someone's talking about me..." She tried to open the door again and failed, and then she paced around the room. She took off her trench coat and draped it ove an arm chair. "Why do other people get to be kidnapped in their day clothes?" Helen wondered out loud. "Why do I have to be kidnapped in pajamas?" She sighed and meandered around the room for a few more minutes as the feeling of unease grew in the pit of her stomach. Finally, she knelt down in the middle of the room, and prayed. Helen prayed for forgiveness, comfort, protection, strength to overcome any future turbulations, protection for those who had tried to save her, and she prayed for deliverence. A feeling of peace rested upon her as she stood from her prayer. There seemed to someone else in the room with her, someone she could not see with her mortal eyes. She smiled to herself, and began to sing as she gazed into the fire. "Come, come, ye saints, no toil nor labor fear; But with joy, wend your way. Though hard to you this journey may appear, Grace shall be as your day. ’Tis better far for us to strive Our useless cares from us to drive; Do this, and joy your hearts will swell All is well! All is well!" Her voice was clear, crisp and confident. The feeling of peace stayed with her, though her future was uncertain. OOC:W00t!! Mormon Hymn!!
~~ Jo-jo was absolutely miserable. His mistress, his mother had been taken away by the strange smelling woman. He went into the room where Helen had stayed and sulked around it. He found her umbrella, and nudged it with his nose as he wimpered, and then let out a mournful howl. Finally, he rested his head and two front paws on the umbrella and closed his eyes and slept. |

She looked a Wolfgang, and then the the painting. He was right; if it weren't for the Fuhrer, Wolfgang wouldn't even be who he is, and he certainly never would have found and chosen Erika. A sense of warmth and happiness passed over Erika; she was beginning to believe the painting really did have some kind of effect on her, making her feel better. Erika looked down from the painting and looked over to Wolfgang as he to another gulp of his wine. When she noticed her eyes had been lingering for a bit too long, she shook her head and leaned against the wall where the painting was hung. "You're right, mein Herr. None of us would be where we are, were it not for him and his superb leadership." she said, reaching behind her head and removing the clip in her hair. Long strands of golden blonde hair fell around and into her face, almost making her glow. She held the clip in front of her hands for a moment; it was about an inch and a half in diameter, and it was white with the swastika on the front. The under part of the clip witch allowed it to stay in her hair was red. Erika put the clip in her mouth and began pulling some groups of hair back. When she felt that her hair was done, she used one hand to keep the hair steady, and the other to remove the clip from her mouth and place it in her hair. "So, Wolfgang. What shall we do, or talk of, whilst we wait for the moon to rise?" she asked, looking over at her master.[/color:76ec81f2f0] |

"I've handled many a strange and powerful creature over the course of my... time. I'll be able to survive, the only thing that we really have to worry about is getting Helen out of there. Once she's safe, we can handle the others in whatever way we please"
He had sensed the thoughts of the opposition before and was sure that at least one of them was a male vampire. Perhaps Odakira was wrong about the Alucard fellow (whoever he was) being his prey. As long as this vampire smelled of gunpowder, he could take his head back to those italian bastards and get what he needed. But should he tell the others. No, this was his problem, and he would solve it, no matter the cost. "One thing I might suggest is that you give me some time to build something that might come in handy," Kyphus added. "Anyone who tried to harm the vampire girl must know that the enemy can deploy a certain kind of shielding. I've delt with this before and the foundation of the shield is built upon wavelengths. If I can recreate my sonic beacon I might be able to negate the shield." |

"Hmm..." he then cpoke out, "We could have some 'fun' with the little madchen, ja?" A down-right evil grin covered his face as he spoke out in response, "Torture her, perhaps?" He let out a low chuckle, then took another drink from the glass till it was emptied, only to set it back onto the desk's surface again. He brought his hands down and rested them on the armrests of his chair.
"Unless, you wish otherwise, mein Herr?" He then leaned forward, pushing his hands down into the armrestings of the chair to bring himself to a standing position, fixing his coat once again. He then grabbed his hat with one hand, the other running back through his hair again to keep the hair in place as he placed the hat back onto his head. He gave a slight tug of it down to overshadow his crimson eyes a little.[/color:694508ae23] |

Erika walked over to where Wolfgang was standing, smirking. She nodded and picked up the wine bottle, followed by the cork. She shoved the small cork into the mouth of the bottle and put it back in it's rightful place in the cabinet. "Ja, that sounds like it would pass the time easily." she said, walking back to Wolfgang's side. The young Nazi looked up at him for a moment, smiled, and walked to the door, purposefully brushing up against him as she passed him. From the coat stand beside the door, Erika picked up her own cover. She shook her head once left and once right to push her hair behind her shoulders, and pulled the cap on over her head. When she had adjusted it to her liking, she put her hands under her hair and flipped it outwards, causing strands to fall either onto her back or in front of her shoulders. When she was finished, she turned to look at Wolfgang. "I am ready, mein Herr."[/color:9bd060a769] |

Before she turned to see him, he turned quickly and abruptly to grab his baton from the corner of the room, hanging upon a plaque that was given to him from the Fuhrer himself. A present of high decoration for his actions in war.
Sure enough that his face wasn't red anymore, he turned around and walked past the girl, the side of his face that wasn't exposed to her slightly twitched as he became nervous suddenly. He then awaited her to exit the room, and as she did they began to walk down the long corridor that led to the room Helen resided in. [/color:be24568300] |

She walked to the door and placed her ear against it to listen. They were growing steadily louder. There seemed to be two sets of footsteps. Helen bit her lip, and walked back to the fire.
Are they coming to this room? Is it the "master" the Nazi woman had spoken so fondly of? She was surprised to find that she wasn't scared. The peaceful sensation still rested upon her, and she only felt a pang of annoyance and anger. She traced one of the little yellow duckies on her pale blue flanel pajama bottoms, and looked at the ornate clock on the mantel. She sighed as she realized that she had already missed teaching two of her lessons for that day. There was a small click, and Helen's green eyes flicked rebelliously as the doorknob began to turn. |

The young Nazi looked up at Wolfgang; she seemed sad, somehow. Erika lowered her head slightly, using the visor of her cover to shield her eyes. She then turned to the door and opened it, kicking it open with her right leg.
"Hallo, little madchen." she said in a most sinister tone. Her chrimson eyes held a piercing glare on the human's figure as her master passed by, stopping in the middle of the room. When he had entered, Erika shut the door and locked it, placing a barrier around it once more to prevent the girl's escape. She then walked behind where Wolfgang stood, watching his charismatic form from behind. Mein Herr...[/color:7c8916219e] |
