Mernov sighed, shaking his head. "You'll have to forgive him," he said with a tone of annoyance. "He acts without thinking. Then again, he doesn't think much at all." He said this in a surprisingly serious way, as though relating fact instead of humor. His facial expression mimicked this, remaining quite bland. This was, of course, how Mernov normally was. While his sense of humor was present, it wasn't obvious by any means. Suddenly, the one he was speaking of returned. "Just one other that you haven't met," Mernov said to his over-reacting friend. "She was the scream you heard. As for this one, please do be more polite. He was sent by the Order, you know." OOC: there, you have your post, boots :P
edit: forgot this part XO "Well, gentlemen, if you'll excuse me," Mernov said, as he stepped backwards away from them. As he finished. he faded out, reappearing just behind Jeanne. He placed his hands upon her shoulders and knelt down to her ear. "I do believe I said to stay in the armory," Mernov said in a tone that could almost be described as mischeivious. "Do you wish to rest for the night?" |

"I don't care if the Confederacy of Vampire Hunters sent him," he muttered under his breath, "his outfit still screams 'shoot me!'" He sighed and dissolved again, this time reappearing in his room. He settled down in his coffin and went into his meditative rest. |

He felt Shadow's presence come and go, but he did not mind what would be said. He brought up his hand and scratched his chin, then brought it back down to cross it against his chest.
"I'm here... Odakira..." His head snapped up suddenly, he looked about the room somewhat troubled and confused to the Germanic accented voice. His eyes checked every dark corner of the room, narrowing to the chaos that ran through his mind. "It's Wolfgang! He's here..." He said to himself, his voice restrained so that he might not get anybody else's attention outside the door. The man behind all this turmoil had finally exposed his identity. He tried to sense his presence, but it was gone too fast. He thought to himself if he should notify the others. Slightly troubled in his mind, he began to pace slowly back and forth in the dark room. Moments passed. He then remembered how everyone thought of himself since he arrived, remembering their looks of suspicion and distrust. He became smally infuriated with the thought of it all. He justified the reason by knowing that if he pulled through on this on his own, no one would think little of him anymore. He decided not to tell anyone, and leave tomorrow night to find him. For the rest of whats left tonight, he shall rest in the coffin chamber. Darkness.... Slumber... |

Jeanne looked up at Mernov and blushed. "Ah, I-I'm sorry, master!" she said, jumping up and taking a few steps away from him. "I... I am tired... If it is fine with you, I would like to rest for the night..." she trailed off. ----------------------------------------------------------- "Ja, I see them. Over here, Wolfgang." confirmed a young woman who was, obviously, of German descent. She spoke in a thick German accent. It was obvious for wherever there would be an English 'W', she would say what would sound like a 'V'. The woman waved over to another figure near the gates; much taller and muscular in nature; most likely a man. When she saw a thin, female figure suddenly jump up and back away, Erika was pleased with what she saw. A moment later she spyed the vampire Mernov take a few steps toward his subordinate. Erika grinned, her abnormally long and sharp canines gleaming in the dark. "This is it, Wolfgang. He's here." she paused. The woman turned her back to the gate and rested her shoulders against it, grinning. "Though I'm sure you had sensed that far before I had... ja?" Erika pushed her golden bangs out of her face after removing her hat, which appeared to resemble that of a navy officer's cover. The moonlight shone over the silver pin on it's front; an eagle with it's wings fully spead. She sighed, putting her cover back on once more before she turned over to the man she called 'Wolfgang'. "Shall we go?" she inquired before dissolving into black mist. In mere seconds she would reappear once more, but on the other side of the gates. [/color:26f78fe53d] OOC: NOTE: Erika is German and.. I really don't feel like typing 'v' instead of 'w' or 'wh', so just pretend like she's speaking with a heavy German accent :D |

His eye's flickered brightly in the moon's luminescence. His arms were folded and met behind his back, he wore a small billed hat almost seeming hexagonal in shape. A golden emblem embedded into the hat seem to glare off slightly in the lunar's light. His hair was a bright blonde and slicked back under his head-dress.
"Ahh..." A deep vocal trickled from out of the man's lips, "Es ist ihr uhr auf Armageddon..." A wide, sinister grin spread acrossed his lightly tan face as he finished his words. As the smaller woman spoke out to him, he nodded his head slightly in her direction. His grin faded to a grim expression as he spoke once more, "Mernov is here, as well as my old... 'friend'." He said this with a somewhat excited tone. He knew Odakira and was here because of him. He was looking forward to a challenge with him to settle 'old business'. He turned to her, his pitch black trench coat floated about him, red lining decorated it along with a patch that resided on the bicep of his left arm. He leaned forward to meet Erika eye-to-eye, and spoke out in a mischievous voice, "Take care of his woman, I want him going all out when I meet him, ja?" Letting out a deep chuckle from within his chest as he stood straight and erect. He shot out his left arm in salute to her, then twisted about abruptly from her and spoke out to her as he vanished, his deep voice echoing in the fog, "Es ist hinter mitternacht, rückkehr kurz, verstanden?" His voice was commanding, and left after a moment in the echo, his presence vanished. [/color:e9777fba55] Odakira felt something again, but he did not let it bother his slumber, within the darkness of his mind, he could see Wolfgang's face, knowing that he was close. The time to act was drawing near...OOC:the first part Wolfgang says, "It is their hour of Armageddon." Then said, "It is past midnight, return shortly, understand?" in German |

The young woman turned to face the large building and grinned once more. Before setting off, Erika tugged the bottoms of her uniform, straightening it out. Erika also bore a red patch, similar to Wolfgang's, on her left bicep. Her long, black coat was thick and fell all the way down to her ankles; a trait that must have been very helpful to the woman, for her uniform consisted of a black uniform jacket and a pleated skirt that went not much further than halfway down her thighs. At last, the woman began heading for the Hellsing building.
She arrived at the doors at length and gazed up at them. She frowned for a moment and then looked to her right. Where Odakira had previously used his magic (or whatever it was) to fix his woman's window. Erika raised her gloved hand to her chin and smiled, licking her teeth. "Sie ist hier.." she whispered to herself, walking slowly up to the window. When she reached the window at last, Erika peered in for a second. The woman inside seemed to be falling asleep, if she were not already. Erika folded her arms across her chest, once more dissolving into black mist, only to reappear on the other side of the woman's window. "Guten abend." she said. When she knew the woman had heard her, she continued: "Or perhaps I sould say... "Guten morgen...?" She grinned, exposing the canines that were obvious indicators of her lineage. [/color:5d59d60a8c] OOC: yarr... I'm not sure if all the German I used was right ;-; Stupid online translators XD Odakira can fix it for me if it's wrong. The first line is something like "Yes, my master." since Wolfgang is the one who turned Erika. Then she says 'She's here." And then she says 'Good evening' and lastly 'Good morning'. mYA GERMAN X3
EDIT: Fixed my stupid online-translator German XD |

He felt another presence, really close. When he felt it, he knew it was of Wolfgang's lineage though. His eyes opened slowly, he brought up an arm swiftly and knocked the top off of his coffin. He jumped out of the coffin's hospitality and opened his door. He unlocked the door to Helen's room, and saw the figure of the clad-in-black woman.
His feet spread widely apart, his figure shifted sideways as he brought up a clenched fist in front of him as he prepared for battle, he then spoke out in a low tone, though demanding, "Who are you? Why did Wolfgang send you!?" He knew already it was a part of Wolfgang's plot, for he could sense the man's blood inside the woman. His eyes narrowed as blue sparks started to ignite up and down his forearm to his hand, but he remained compressed. He kept his energy down so that he would be able to make a more affective surprise attack. A voice filled the air of Erika's mind, of course it was none other than her leader. His voice enriched the night air with a Germanic glory. "Erika, leave him be, ja?" He knew that he couldn't stand a chance to Erika's swiftness, he would surely perish if he were to try. "Get the girl, I could use another apprentice." After so, a low chuckled filled her mind, then became a maniacal laughter as it faded away from Erika's head.[/color:7196175cde] OOC:hee, i would be glad to help you out Kristin! This vampire she now stood before, while eccentricly clothed, was either far too powerful to take one (which, to her, was unlikely) or too weak to even waste her energy on. Aside from that, he was Wolfgang's prey anyway. "Javol, mein herr." she replied. The woman took a few steps foward towards the woman's bed and grinned sinisterly, completely ignoring Odakira. "Get up. You're coming with me."

THe wind was rushing by his skin and metal, the sound of it was incredible! From the air streams he could hear far and wide. He could hear the abandoned dogs knocking over trashcans for scraps of food. He could hear a brawl from a tavern miles away. He could hear it all. He also heard something inside the building: another inconvenience.
Skillfully applying his clawed fingers and toes to the walls, Kyphus literally slunk down the vertical path to stop before the young womans window. At first everything seemed comletely normal. She was asleep, Odakira was watching, and a creepy woman (who seemed to have a strange intent on her mind) had just entered and was... Kyphus caught himself. Creepy woman? He sent pryed into the room with all of his senses and found that he was not getting a ghost image. But, now that there was some kind of uniformed woman in the room (approaching Helen, he noted) what should be done? Odakira, the technicolored maniac, was not doing anything and leaving Helen at risk to this new stranger. "NO time for hesitation" he thought hastily. And without a pause, Kyphus (being upside down as he was) crashed his head through the window and rolled into the room. Already up, his wrist blades sprung into action, extending to their full length, sharp and deadly. "Who are you?" He hissed threateningly. "What are you doing here?" |

Stay back!!" He let out a low growl that soon became an enraged warcry. His fist sparked rapidly and in various directions, leaving small burns amongst the walls beside himself. He then dashed out in a full, dead on sprint and swung his fist at the woman.
"W-What is this!?" He shouted, noticing his fist ran into some kind of barrier around the woman, it was pitch black and spherical around her body. The sparks of his attack soon started to come back and hit him, almost as if the barrier was a mirror. Despite this, he pushed further, and further, the sparks growing in imensity now setting his sleeve on fire, but his expression remained unchanged and grim as he continued to push harder. His eyelids spread quickly, widening with surprise as something seem to have caught his attention, he was then suddenly reflected off the barrier, his body thrown back to wear it was parallel with the ground as he flew through the door behind where he once stood. The door was blasted of it's hinges as well as the door to his room, for he smacked through that door too. He quickly lifted his legsforward and piveted himself into a flip. His feet came into contact with the ground and he skid across the marble floor to a stop. He looked up at the woman, his facial complexions clearly exposed rage. Soon, a stream of crimson came down across his left eye from under his dark brown eye. The impact of the doors leaving a gaping cut on the top of his head. The pain didn't bother him, it was only minor, but he could not let this get too out of hand. "Why does she...? Ah, I see... Wolfgang is protecting her..." He thought to himself, looking back to remember that Wolfgang had a special ability to create barriers, not even nuclear weaponry could penetrate. He either taught his apprentice well, or he was doing this himself. OOC:man, everyone is hating on my colors it seems :( Oh well, u all just jealous! lol |

Odakira never unlocked the door, and she had searched the room and found nothing to help her get out. She considered breaking the window again, but that would attract attention. I just want to leave! She flopped onto the bed and massaged her temples. She fell asleep again only to be woken up by a blonde woman with a heavy accent.
"Hn?" she blinked sleepily. "Who are you?" She heard a loud crash followed by another, and she became more alert. She saw Kyphus at the window and Odakira was sprawled in the hall way. "Kyphus? Odakira?" She looked at the woman and noticed her clothes and the symbol she wore. Nazi... She balled her hand into a fist and punched her in the nose. "Back off!!! There is no way I am accompanying you anywhere!!" She rolled over to the other side of the bed and leapt off so that the bed separated her from the intruder. Who is she? What does she want with me? Who is hse working for? Where does she want to teke me? Helen's mind buzzed with questions and her blood boiled angrily. Jo-jo barked and growled, but he couldn't get to Helen. He whined and whimpered. His hackles raised, and he bared his teeth and let out another growl. OOC:I think it's original!! It's ok!! |

It too bounced off its surface with a specific ring to its impact. A specific ring? Tone quality on a psychic barrier; what did that remind him of.
Two years ago, Kyphus was hunting a rogue vampire, a thief and a murderer. He was running amuck in India in the smaller provinces and was becoming a real nuisance. Kyphus followed him for months before finding him and when he did, the man had some sort of barrier around him. Kyphus had been able to dispatch him easily enough. He had sent a specially tuned sonic wave through a machine in his system and shot it through the barrier. Wavelengths mixed and both systems cancelled out leaving the Vampire without a barrier. That was a brilliant idea! Then, Kyphus remembered, he had long since replaced his sonics system with a harpoon launcher in his back... |

She had not seen any point in wasting her energy forming a barrier for the weak punch which the girl had delt her. The laugh started as a light chuckle, and then grew into a sinister, almost sickening cackle. "My dear girl, I wish you no harm. Believe me, you will be FAR safer with my master and myself than you are HERE." She glanced over at the wounded Odakira and grimaced. "I assure you that no harm will come to you; ... if you comply. My master merely wishes to meet with you. Come." Erika took a few more steps towards the girl, wearing an almost frightening smile. With her left hand she reached out to the girl; her right was at the holster on her hip.
"Oh, and Odakira, my friend..." she said, smirking as she gazed over at the vampire. "I would suggest refraining from putting up a fight with me any longer. You are no match for me, and you should save your energy for when my master comes to see you." Erika grabbed the girl's wrist and started down the hall. "Good luck.", she said, tilting her head back towards Odakira.[/color:cc63eb91b2] |

Mernov took a step towards his young apprentice without saying a word or responding to her. Though she had stepped back several steps, he needed only one long stride to reach her. As he moved slightly to the left of her, he raised his right arm. A strange darkness appeared between his arm and his coat, mimicking the color of the sleeves as though the jacket were webbed like a duck's foot. Mernov's whole being soon became darker and less finite, seeming almost as mist. When his foot at last touched ground by Jeanne's side, he slowly wrapped this "webbing" around her body and then his own. It quickly enveloped him and then itself, becoming smaller and smaller whilst simultaniously disappearing into mist. Far below, not far away from Alucard's and Seras' own rooms, was the room which would be for Jeanne. Inside this room, Mernov reappeared from black mist, Jeanne unconscious in his arms. He looked down at her as a father might look upon a beloved child and set her down in the bed/coffin. He closed the windows tightly, but did not lower her down into the coffin, nor did he cover it. That, Mernov felt, would be a bit too much. He wispered an almost inaudible "Good night" as he turned and headed towards his own room, which was connected to this by a wooden door. The vampire had begun to relax when he sensed a great disturbance. Images and emotions flashed in his mind -- Odakira; frustration, pain; broken doors; laughing; fear. With a sigh, Mernov leapt from his coffin and grabbed his weapons, two highly abnormal hand-guns, one resembling a revolver and the other a strange combination of a revolver and a semi-automatic. He holstered these hastily, the revolver somewhat hidden in back underneeth his long coat and the other at his side. Long night he thought to himself. His form evaporated instantly, appearing in Shadows chambers, where he placed a solid kick on the side of the coffin. "Up, Shadows, we have an intruder in the castle," Mernov barked hastily. "I know you hate Odakira but he is in trouble; you'll just have to ignore his attire for a time, as at the moment he is our ally. Hop to, you bum!" Before even finishing these words he disappeared again, some distance down the hall from the intruder. His words echoed throughout Shadows' chambers as his form vanished. Mernov presently stared down at the fleeing form of the intruder. Decidedly female, with a long, black trenchcoat and a strange red band about her bicep. She was clearly vampiric. Mernov figured he would have only one shot that could possibly make it, if she didn't sense it in time to put up that strange barrier. Otherwise, it could prove troublesome to defeat her; Mernov had a feeling he would have to use more of his strength than he was prepared to this night -- "night" would soon become an inaccurate term; this battle would have to be quick, and Mernov had another feeling that there wouldn't be enough time for him to emerge victorious. He sensed a stalemate in the future. The tall vampire lifted the double-barreled pistol from its holster and pulled back the hammer. Accuracy and speed was needed; this one would do best. The revolver part of this weapon was specifically designed for sniping, and so the rounds were abnormally long, yet equally narrow. Tipped with blessed silver, coated with a highly volitile explosive liquid, if these rounds could not succeed then his pistols would be useless. Mernov aimed for a spot that would do the most damage but was not covered by the woman, and pulled the trigger. |

It causes the ceiling to crumble suddenly, it's wake shook the ground ferociously. It through Mernov and the other's off-balance slightly after the shot, but the bullet slowed suddenly as the voice filled the near-morning air,
"Pater Noster, qui es in Caelis, Sanctificetur nomen Tuum. Adveniat Regnum Tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, Sicut in Caelo et in Terra. Et Dimitte nobis Debita Nostra, Sicut et nos. Dimittimus Debitoribus Nostris." The Germanic voice, speaking Latin, soon faded into the darkness and the bullet flew at it's original velocity once again. Just before the bullet would come into contact, a bright red flash appeared, holding out a black gloved hand, stopping the bullet in it's place, only to have it drop to the ground with a loud ping. The man stepped forward from the shadows to reveal himself, it indeed was Wolfgang. His voice was now normal, and reached the ers of Mernov and the other's as the boots running of Erika faded behind him, "Amen..." He lowered hs head in somewhat of a bow, his arm came down to tie behind his back with his other arm. "Ah, Mernov... I was expecting you..." He let a low chuckle escape his domain, then looked up with his bright crimson eyes to lock them with Mernov's. "If you want the human, come to the Cherry Hill Cemetary tomorrow night. You and Odakira come alone... Or she dies... Verstanden?" As a eerie moment of silence passed, he then turned to walk away, but abruptly stop and spoke out. "Oh, and... Guten Morgen." To this, the sun's light finally sprang into the room's off the house, it began to eat away the shadows that resided in the mansion, as the light came unto Wolfgang's figure, it simply vanished into the light, a loud maniacal laugh of his echoed off into the distance as it reverberated of the walls and finally died to silence.[/color:bc2399e898] As the sun rose, Odakira, quickly threw his cloak about himself, attempting to block out the sun's light from hitting him, he quickly disappeared in a white flash, then reappeared in the lower basement where Jeanne resided. He feel to the ground, the wound from his head created a small splatter amongst the stone floor, steam seemed to emit from his body as he just narrowly escaped the sun's light. He took deep breaths as he held his chest and tried to sit himself up, but collapsed to the ground once again, falling into what seem to be a slumber. |
