Though he didn't exactly follow religious doctrine to the letter anymore, Vincent had been brought up christian and couldn't figure out what about religion that could irritate that strange drunkard so much. Though he already hated him for his alcohol abuse -- he would certainly have needed physical restraints to keep from drawing his gun if he'd seen the man's actions earlier -- this blatant insult of religion was just more fuel for the flames. Vincent directed an almost distraught look towards George, before telling him,

"I don't think I can possibly work with that man." He paused, thinking of the best way to word things as he let his uncharacteristicly grave words sink in. "I really might do something rash." Vincent paused again, turning towards the girls with a smile once again upon his face. "But, now that I'm done being serious, I think breakfast is certainly the next order of business! Do you need any help? I don't know how to make a lot of things, but my... I can follow a recipe well enough!"

"We're paid to cook and serve," Jean Louise smiled, and set a plate in front of him. "You don't want to take our jobs do you? You just stick to piano playing and eating for now." She set two more plates down for George and Aria. "As for working with him, I deal with people I don't like all the time. You should just think of it as an opportunity to build character, or to come up with great comebacks."

"Or target practice," added Violet dryly, as she dumped some more bacon onto Vincent's plate. "That's always a bonus, right?" She looked down at the excess of meat in the griddle and moved on to Aria's plate, heaping another few strips of it next to the eggs.

"And, Jean Louise, I certainly hope you didn't mean me." She grinned and placed a few more pieces of bacon on West's plate, then picked one more from the griddle and began eating it. "Anyway, I guess that guy won't be getting any breakfast," she finished, with a final glance at the griddle-- there was just enough left for Jean Louise, but probably not enough for another hungry cowboy.

West and Aria dug into the food they were served with gusto. West finished almost his entire plate and was full, but Aria, the walking stomach, was still rather hungry. "Erm, you got any toast or anything, Miss?" she asked.

West turned to Vincent. "Jean Louise is right, we should just grin and bear it for now. But, we'll be keeping an eye on him." If he does anything exceptionally stupid, George thought, He might have the Erasers on his back for the rest of his life.

The Erasers were MYTHIC's elite team of assassins that killed rogue agents. Naturally, they were better than anyone else that worked there- they had to be. But they were... unstable, and were only let out as a last resort. No one had ever escaped them, to West's knowledge- but, then again, they had only ever been let out five times.

"All right," West said, reclining back in his chair. "We should head out in five minutes or so."

Aria's lower lip quivered. "But..."

West slapped his forehead, and pushed his plate over to Aria. She ate the rest of his eggs and bacon, sitting back in her chair and letting forth a great belch. "'Scuse me," she said, belatedly.

"Actually, Violet... we can talk about it later," Jean Louise patted her friend's shoulder. "Of course, didn't mean you. I was talking about the diva, Fred. Anywho," she laid some bread on the griddle for a moment.

"Maybe you three will rub off on him, and he won't be so bad," the singer ate some more of the left over eggs. "You never know. A bit of good influence may be all he needs. Aria, you can beat some sense into him. George, you can patch him up once Aria's done beating, and Vincent here can teach him how to play the piano so that his plunking won't wake me up at this ungodly hour ever again. You three can do quite well." She took away Aria's and George's plate and placed two pieces of toast in front of her.

"There you are, Aria dear," she said with a smile. "Can I get you anything to drink? George? Vincent?"

Some time had passed since Wes left the tavern. During his wait for the religious conversation to end within the building, Wes had reloaded the empty chamber of his gun, and holstered it. Standing straight, Wes made his way around to the front of the saloon; mumbling a small 'prayer' as it would seem... but it wasn't the kind of prayer one would think it to be.

"Bring forth a fresh herd for the Lands of Hell. Let those who stare down the barrel of my weapon stare into the eyes of Satan himself. All those who are ended by me shall not find peace, but pain and regret... Cerberus Omen."

Wes considered his three revolvers to be the 'Cerberus'. Always carried with him, and always there to chew his foes to shreds with a storm of bullets. During raids or gunfights, Wes always chanted this 'prayer' to himself, for he thought it to guide his bullets true. Obviously if a man such as Wes was needed for a mission, guns would be fired.

As Wes entered the tavern once again, he gave a stern look to all within. Clearing his throat, he spoke out to them, "I apologize... I won't explain why I abstain from religion, so you'll have to deal with it." He did apologize, but rudely like always. Besides, there was no point to explain why, the reason why everyone was here was for a mission, not to make friends. A job is a job.

Wes sat at the bar (away from everyone, of course) and looked to Aria and George. "So... What's the mission?"

Violet was about to add something to Jean Louise's suggestion-- probably something along the lines of "And if that doesn't work, one of you could just tie him to a railroad track and be done with it."

However, before she could speak, Wes returned to the tavern, effectively rerouting her train of thought from the suggestion of railroad tracks to a more direct form of verbal abuse.

"Still on that topic, are you?" Violet glared at him for bringing it back up just when everything seemed to have been smoothed over. "Get over yourself. Nobody cares why you abstain from religion, but you'd do well to abstain from losing your temper again while you're in here." That being said, she turned back to the sink and began washing the dirty breakfast dishes.

Wes shook his head to what the girl had to say, "Excuse me, but I didn't bring it up, nor did I want to hear about it. You and your friends were the ones who brought it up, not I." Wes said, crossing his arms at his chest. "Besides, if you weren't listening clearly, I'm trying to get down to business with my new... employers."

Wes could not think of what to call George and Aria since they're the ones enlisting him and that Vincent fellow. It didn't help he was slightly drunk and in a bad mood already... and having some cheap harlot antagonizing him was not helping either.

"Excuse me," interrupted Vincent, "but, though I hate to contradict you, I must point out one thing. As I recall, Ms. Jean Louise here simply mentioned that she thought religion was interesting. You then decided to curse religion and storm off, in quite a childish manner." He paused, wondering if the rude cowboy was following him thusfar. Deciding that he would continue anyway, he began to speak again, his tone calm and even, "You might not have mentioned it, but you certainly decided to get unnecessarily flustered by it and to make your silly little outcry. Remember, everyone else was amicably having a civil discussion when you interrupted it. You should be apologizing for that, not trying to condescend to the hardworking employees here." Vincent here took a bite from a slice of bacon, as though to add finality to his statement. Though he would much rather have simply shot the idiot, he figured this was a better course of action -- though Vincent was not against shooting people, he tried his best to never draw first.

"Anyway," he said, having finished the slice of bacon, "I do agree with your wondering about the mission. I don't intend to ride into something blindly and find out that it's not a something I'm willing to do."

West eyed his two new hires. "Arright, that's enough. If we're going to do this, we all need to work together."

Aria ate her toast hungrily. "Well," she said between bites. "We're going train robbin'. Probably not in the way you think, tho'."

"Aria," West said, "I think we should split up into two teams for this like usual. You and Wes get to the safe and blow it wide open--Vincent and I'll be your cover. We'll take out the telegraph and its operator, and any Feds that interfere."

"But George," Aria said, "What about our steeds? Once we get to the train station, we'll have to ditch 'em, but then we'll need them again for our getaway!"

"Crap," George said, "I didn't think about that... What we'll have to do is: someone takes our horses out to a spot on the tracks, and we;ll get off there with the money."

"But what if they don't make for some reason? We'll be in deep doo-doo then."

"Erm, if they're not there... we'll think of something if we need to. Now, any volunteers to lead the horses to here?" At 'here' he pulled out a map and pointed at a spot on it.

"The only ways I can think of other than that are walking... or pulling a Slow Cheetah."

"We are not pulling a Slow Cheetah! Think of the people on the train for chrissakes."

"Damn."

OOC:Cheap harlot? XD It's a good thing she doesn't know you're thinking that. You'd have one pissed off barmaid trying to claw your eyes out.

Violet shifted uncomfortably as the details of the mission were recounted before her. Am I supposed to be hearing this? she wondered, but thought it wiser to keep her mouth shut. It was never a good idea to hear much in the way of bandits' plans, so she tried to block out as much of the conversation as she could, focusing instead on the dishes in front of her.

At the word "volunteer," however, Violet's head shot back up. She and Jean Louise were the only two people left, and she certainly didn't relish the idea of being caught up in something like this. Unfortunately, she was pretty sure that Jean Louise wouldn't feel the same way. She spoke up before her friend had a chance to. "Oh, no. No, no, no." She shook her head emphatically, placing one soapy hand on her hip. "No. If you guys want to rob a train, fine. But don't ask us to help."

Jean Louise ears perked up at the mention of the robbery, and listened with great interest as she dried the dishes and put them away, but kept her back turned to the four. Jean Louise turned at the word volunteer, but Violet interrupted. She rolled her eyes, and twisted the rag into a rat tail and snapped it at Violet's soapy arm.

"Oh, poo, Violet," she chided her friend, and smiled slyly. "He's not looking for more help to rob the train. It's just riding a few horses and a donkey over to... where ever that place is. You need a day off from drunk men, and I need... well, nothing really, but you need a day off. Don't think of it as helping with a robbery, just think of it as taking a nice ride in the sunshine through the grand old west. We can take a picnic lunch and enjoy ourselves while we wait. C'mon, Violet. Atticus won't care, as long as we're back before the show tonight." She clasped her her hand in front of her and gazed at her with big blue eyes. She didn't pout, knowing it would get her nowhere with Violet. "I'm going whether you want to or not, but you wouldn't make me enjoy the day all on me onesy, would you? Please, come with me, Violet. Please."

OOC: lol, I'm sure Wes would be expecting that XD plus, he'd only have one good eye for you to claw at!

Wes didn't respond to what Vincent had to say. His lecture didn't matter, and Wes simply ignored him. Arrogant and selfish as always. However, he was happy to hear Vincent agree with him about the mission. He listened closely to what George and Aria had said, and was even happier to know he was going for the goods. Safes are the heaviest guarded parcels on trains, meaning quite a few would die this day. A crooked grin made it's way acrossed Wes' face to this thought. Today was going to be a fun... But one problem did exist.

"I don't have a horse, so I'm gonna have to saddle up with one of you." Wes said, his arms still crossed as when he first sat down. "But once this job is finished, I'll get one." As to what Violet and Jean Louise had to say, Wes responded, "Well, you should consider yourselves dead even hearing this, I'm sure. Mystic probably wouldn't want commoners to get in their business anyways, and though this was probably forced to your ears, you have no choice."

Wes shrugged, and looked over to George and Aria. "I reckon thats what Mystic wants, but I'm not sure... Anywho, only one person would be good enough, I think."

OOC: it would be a bad idea for Wes to ride Jesus XD just a warning lol

OOC:Snakes on a Plane OST= SO MUCH LOVE :D

"We trust them, Wes. Besides, I think they both know that if they told anyone else, they'd be dead... or worse than dead," George said to Wes, involuntarily shuddering at the thought of them. "They do things to your mind and body once they find you that can't be reversed, that are more horrible than you can imagine."

"Worse than death, the Erasers' punishment," Aria whispered gravely.

"A-anyways," West said, shaking the grim thoughts, "Let's go. Be sure to hide your guns well and carry yourself like a normal passenger."

"You can ride with me, Wes," Aria said. "You, er, wouldn't like West's donkey, and I don't think Vincent and you could share a horse without it ending with one or both of you dead."

"Then I'll take Miss Jean Louise, and Vincent, you can take Miss Violet. Of course, if that's all right with everyone."

"Let's go, people!" Aria said, "We got stuff ta do! Yeehaw~!"

Violet frowned as the rest of the group made up her mind for her. Not that it really mattered-- she would have agreed anyway. Jean Louise was right, of course. Violet would never send her friend off alone on something like this. The poor girl didn't know even how to shoot a gun, and this could get dangerous.

She shot a reproachful gaze at Jean Louise, but it quickly turned into a grin. One could never help but grin when faced with such an effervescent personality. She ducked behind the counter and began tossing random lunch items into a small picnic basket for herself and Jean Louise. If they had to go on this thing, they darn well wasn't going to go hungry. "You'll give us a map, then?" she asked West, now resigned to her part in this mess.
