Lowering his Force's distinction, he was able to completely shut off his presence to the other Jedi's. Looking up, he realized that he was only two floors below them. Therefore, if they used their senses to find Tegal, more than likely they'll make the theory he is two floors below. Tegal doubted this though, seeing as how the Jedi have been of more of a nuisance than he expected. Stealthily, he continued to climb the cable, making sure that every movement he made would not be heard. As he reached the floor, he remained latched onto the cable, listening to the last of Kisa's words. Obviously she was angry just by the furiousity of her voice.
Tegal grinned to himself, now knowing that his plot may better play into his hands than he thought. Having cut himself off from the Jedi's senses, and having snuck up the elevator shaft without a sound, Tegal was free to listen in on whatever they had to say. Being on the Dark Side was a special plus for being sneaky. It would sometimes strike Tegal in quite a good manner, just knowing to have that power gave him a rush... A rush to do more corrupt things that he is allowed to do. |

Clutching her necklace with one hand, she looked away from Jidat, unsure of a fitting way to retort. The kitten had to admit; the main reason she was retalliating so was because of her age. Not just because she was merely a teen, but because she was sick of being treated as such. Even in the senate there were those who doubted her prowess, and later learned the err of their ways, much to their dismay. And while Kisa was admitting to herself what she was doing was childish, she stood firm in her decision to continue rebelling against these people.
"While I acknowledge that you seem to have had a painful history, of which I will not inquire, you seem to see it fit to tell me what to do.." she began removing her hand from the pendant and balling it into a fist, resting it at her waist. "But you are NOT my father, and I REFUSE to listen to you!" she shouted spinning around and slamming her palm into the elevator's button. PING. |

The cable the White Sith clinged to so tightly began to move up as Kisa called for the elevator. This was not good, considering the floor it was going to was the top, and that there might not be enough room for him to live; either being grinded up in the elevator's pulley system, or crushed between the ceiling of the shaft and elevator's top. Taking note of this, Tegal decided that he would what he could, and began to climb downwards on the cable. When the elevator finally came near enough, he dropped and landed softly onto the elevator; quickly closing the ceiling's hatch of the elevation room, he then laid flat on his back on it's cold metal top.
Tegal's eyes narrowed as his figure was speedily coming close to the ceiling of the shaft, and luckily, it had just stopped before reaching the gears and pulleys of the elevator system. 'Psh.... Great, I'm loving this.' The Sith growled in his mind, but at least in a way he had an advantage; one simple shock to the pulley system, and bye-bye to all who boarded. Though this was good to know, he rather wait and see if any of those Jedi hop aboard. |

"He's back..." he said, narrowing his eyes. The elevator was empty, but he knew the Sith was nearby. He wasn't there yet, though, so he turned an eye toward Kisa. "It sucks, doesn't it?" he said, "Being treated like you know nothing, that you're just a child? I find it hard to get any respect from my elders, they hardly ever take me seriously. I'm still just a kid to their eyes. They don't know what to say when I tell them I'm a Jedi Master." He grinned. "I know it sucks, but please, heed our words." |

"A flower for you, my love," Kylin said, breaking into a fit of laughter. The sickly-sweet aroma wafted into the air near the group, and she made a motion to the two Jedi, suggesting that they guard their breathing. Hopefully, she'll fall asleep right away, and we can leave before HE gets back... |
| Eshe Joined: 14 Nov 2003 Posts: 485 | Kisa lowered her eyelids in a look of skepticism, listening as the young Jedi spoke. While he seemed to have some kind of understanding as to the situation she was in, the senator still felt as if they were all merely belittling themselves in order to achieve their goals, ultimately tossing aside her wants and needs. The Kitten was about to reply with Kylin, the female Jedi came up to her, laughing hysterically.
Slightly worried as to WHY this girl was laughing so, Kisa backed away from her, stumbling over the threshold of the elevator and onto her rear. The back of her head slammed into the back wall of the box, causing Kisa to shout out in pain. She rubbed the back of her head and glared up at the Jedi, furious. "NOW what are you doing?!" she screamed, balling her hands into fists as she held herself up against the wall. "Can't you just let me fend for myself?! Am I really that naive?!" she inquired, watching them. "Truely, I'm sick of all of you." she began, standing up and heading forwards. "I'll find help elsewhere. Pherhaps they will listen to me." As the senator finished, she pushed the button for the bottom floor, and quickly hit the 'close door' button thereafter. "Good BYE.", she said sternly, the doors slamming centimeters from her face, an irritating PING ringing in her ears as the car readied to make its descent. |

"Whatever race of human she is seems to be immune to sedatives. That... didn't go as planned to say the least." She smiled weakly. Bags caused by stress and many hours on her feet gathered under her eyes, making her look more like 70 than 17. She certainly felt like a senior citizen at the moment, buffeted by Murphy's Law.
Kylin pressed the down button, but nothing happened. She cursed again, this time out of pure frustration. "Dammit, I don't want her to die! Maybe if we work together, we can bust the door open... But we have to hurry, or else..." She didn't need to go into detail about what would happen if the Sith and the Senator were alone in a back alley. OOC:EWWW STINKY CHEESE. |

As he did so, he could clearly be heard muttering something about "Jedi incompetance." His right hand moved outward slightly and twitched. Almost instantaniously, a lightsaber flew into his awaiting palm and ignited. Not wasting a moment or slowing his stride, he plunged his weapon into the control panel of the elevator. The thing let out a gasp and a serious of loud pops before calming down to a sizzle. The Shadow master extinguished his blade, and the hilt returned from whence it came. Within the shaft, car shuddered and exerted a loud moaning, screaching sound as it temporarily slowed down from the system overload, and the doors slid open begrudgingly. It was quick to regain speed however; the car had just begun moving, and Katsushiro had to dive through the space between the roof of the car and the floor of the top level in order to make it through. Almost at the very last second, he pulled his feet through.
With such a maneuver, even Jedi reflexes could not help out the Shadow, and he landed unceremoniously on his back. He was silent for a moment after the impact, but after a few long seconds he quickly exhaled a large gulp of air. However, he maintained a calm expression upon his face, refusing even to cringe. He rolled over to his stomach and slowly got onto one knee, at which point he collapsed back to recline against the wall. "M'lady, I have no doubt you detest my presence here," began Jidat in a calm, neutral tone of voice, "and I consider that outburst to translate to 'you're fired,' I wish to accompany you. From now until I can gain your trust, I will say nothing -- I will not even suggest to you that a situation might be dangerous unless you ask me. I only wish to remain by your side, so that I can defend you from an attacker, or at the very least shield you from a potential attack. As I said earlier, you needn't pay me or even feed me. I humbly wish for nothing more than to silently watch over you, if that is what you will allow me." He paused, closing his eyes. He reached out and pulled the tendrils of the Force throughout the room towards him, threading them through a sharp pain in his back. "Of course, you'll have to forgive me if I watch from below for a few moments until my back heals," he added on jovially, offering the young Senator a wink and a warm smile. |
| Asai Joined: 24 Aug 2003 Posts: 638 | Yuuki glared at the man, and then reeled in shock as the man drew a lightsaber. Not a Jedi, indeed. He watched the dangerous manuever the man pulled, but noticed most the man on top of the car: Tegal.
"DAMN it!" he swore, drawing his own lightsaber and slicing the now closed doors apart. The elevator had already begun it's rapid descent, and was now to far out of range to safely jump upon. He took a moment to think, and then leapt onto the cables, grabbing the one that was going down. the motion moved him downwards, but he wasn't gaining on the elevator car. He began to climb hand over hand downwards, trying to reach the car before the sith cut the cables or tried to wreck it in some other form. He realized as he climbed, though, that the sith would not be stupid enough to cut the cables while he was still on the car, he would probably just attack the people inside, if he could. That only made Yuuki move faster. "Hurry up, Kylin!" he called back up the shaft, if she could still hear. "Find another way down or something!" |

Turning his attention away from the Light Jedi, he looked back down at the hatch of the elevator and threw it open once more. Leaning forward and giving a small leap, Tegal landed lightly just next to Kisa; his eyes locked onto Jidat's figure with an evil glare. Throwing out his right hand as if out of instinct, the Sith conformed the Force to flow from his hand to surround the Shadow's windpipe. Not choking him, but giving the sensation that at any moment Tegal can crush his windpipe with a simple clench of his hand. Making, rather than giving, a fair warning to the Neutral.
"I am becoming rather irritated with these actions taken towards me!" Tegal's voiced blared, loud and sharp in its hiss like a snake. Turning his head to Kisa, but leaving his eyes on his foe, he gave out a question, "Pardon my rude intrusion, but I must ask... Do you still want my help? If so, tell these bafoons to simply sit and watch you and not throw me into anything." Turning his head back to Jidat, the Sith took a step back so that he may be out of striking range for in case he pushes his luck. "If not..." He continued, "I at least would like to access a workshop for the damage done to my property, and would like it if these pests were to get off my back." The elevator was near to the bottom floor, and if no decision was made by then, the Sith would take matters into his own hands. Being that he still wants to make the impact of his plan worth while, he could do it either way; this being the easiest. |

What have I gotten myself into... she wondered, looking up at Jidat, and then to Tegal. Realizing that it was probably about time to listen to her bodyguard for once, she sighed and folded her arms across her chest.
"I'm sorry, Tegal. I probably won't be needing your help, what with all these Jedi so avid about coming to my aid." She smiled and walked up to the Sith's side, patting his strong arm gently. "Thank you anyway, though. I appreciate the offer, and I assure you I will do all that is in my power to fix your light saber as best I can." OOC:blah.. i'm tired |

She started down the stairs, angry because she had been left behind... again. Her thighs and throat burned, but she was determined not to stop, or slow her fast pace. "I hope I can catch up with them..." |

"Dammitdammitdammitdammit..." Kylin cursed steadily, a mantra that with her footsteps, drove away the pain. She reached the middle level clearly marked in the stairwell in several languages. Kylin turned the corner and resumed her descent down the spiral staircase after a scant minute of rest. "Oh wel-ah-ohhoohoh?" Kylin tripped on something LARGE and went flying headfirst. Not really thinking, she used Force to get the object underneath her. She landed hard on the metal stairs, and gasped for breath. The air suddenly smelled.... very, very bad. Almost like... "Oh dear God," Kylin shook her head in disbelief. The 'object' she had tripped over had once been a homeless person's bed, a mattress gleaned from a Dumpster raid. So now, she was careening wildly down the stairs, headfirst, on a stinky mattress. "Why meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?" |

Xavior moved away from the elevator so he was in a position to defend himself from either the beings in the elevator or the one on the stairs, though he was quite sure the Jedi flying down the stairs would not attack him...or atleast he hoped. his main concern was with the conflict in the elevator which was drawing ever nearer. |
