A yawn, and the ending of yet another long, mundane meeting. The young senator streatched her arms and rose from her seat, straightening her robes as she headed for the door. At the ripe age of sixteen years, Kisa Oksana stood at the short height of 5'3", bringing many to ridicule her, despite her prestigious position within the senate. It didn't take long for those that ridiculed her to see how formidable a debater she was inside those meetings. Merely weeks ago she had rebutted the idea of creating a formal army for the republic. Quick as a bullet, Kisa had taken a stand and presented her opinion, claiming that creating such a militia would only encourage the idea of war, and that the Republic should enjoy the peace they have. It wasn't long until the young teen had gathered a great following of supporters. However, there were those that were horribly against Kisa and her ideals, and would stop at nothing to prevent her from delaying, or possibly preventing, the creation of said army.

The senator reached up behind her head and pulled the clip from her pony tail, sighing lightly as she crossed the threshold of the building and out into the Coruscant sun. Smiling, she shook her head left and right, allowing her hair to fall gracefully down her back to reach her waist. I think I'll go get something to eat.. the kitten thought to herself, heading towards her hover car. When she was about a foot or so away from it, she heard a loud 'whzz' sound fly by her ear, accompanied by a few pieces of her hair falling to the ground. Her cerulean eyes widened as she turned around quickly, glancing about franticly. Other senators looked at her, confused. Suddenly there was a loud explosion, and Kisa flew forward from the burst of flame and gust of air, falling onto her side, bruising her shoulder. The senators who had just seconds hence been staring at her blankly, quickly rushed over to her side, scrambling to help the girl up. Quite shaken, she stared at the car, trembling slightly.

"Senator, are you alright?!" one of the men asked. Kisa nodded weakly, watching her car smoulder and burn. Shortly after the spectacle, the authorities had arrived and questioned Kisa, who, had no idea what had happened. One of her close friends in the senate came up behind Kisa and, with a warm, concerned smile, put their hand on her shoulder. "Kitty, I think it's time you got another body guard of some sort. With your sudden burst of support from the people, there are going to be a lot of people who aren't going to be happy with your progress."

Kisa turned to face the senator and frowned. "But.. you remember what happened to my last body guard.." she trailed off, remembering the poor soul. The fellow senator grinned uncomfortably, shrugging. "Well, you need one again, Kisa. Here." he said, pulling a piece of paper from his pocket. He quickly scribbled some directions on it, and handed it to the girl. "Go here, but be careful; there's a lot of shadey characters in there. You should be able to easily find a body guard there."

With a wide smile, Kisa hugged her friend and gave him a thumbs up, glancing at the map as she turned around. "Thank you!" she shouted, trotting off. The male senator frowned. "I wonder if she'll even make it there in one piece..."

After about ten minutes of walking, Kisa arrived at what seemed like the designated bar. The senator had been right; it seemed fairly sleezy and frightening for women. However, the kitten was determined to find a body guard, and took a deep breath. As she entered, she cupped her hand over her mouth; the strong, pungent scent of smoke and alcohol infected her lungs. She pulled a kerchief from her dress and covered her mouth, heading over towards the bar. The girl leaned against it, looking down at the multiple men that sat around it, drinking their fill.

"Ah... um... Are any of you jedi.. or anything like that? I need a body guard and..." she began, but was cut off. A large, burly man grabbed her wrist, grinning.

"I'll guard your body, but it'll cost ya.." he said, his breath reeking of alcohol, and in much want of a good dose of mouth wash.

"R-really? Well, money isn't really much of a problem for me, so.." Kisa started.

The man chuckled, pulling Kisa closer, much to her dismay. "I didn't mean monetary compensation, little girl." Kisa, confused, looked up at him. "Well then what in the world do you mean?!" she said, frowning in confusion. The other men around the bar burst out laughing, making the young senator turn red in the face.

"Maybe we should show her what we mean, boys?" the man asked, and the other men in question stood up, chuckling. Kisa suddenly had a bad feeling about this whole thing.

OOC: I'll post up my char bio presently ^^; I've used him before, but it was several years ago and needs revamping

A tall man, robed in varying shades of grey, looked up from the bar as the young woman entered. His face was masked in shadow by a large hood which draped low over his head. His robes obscured much of the rest of his body, thus his age and build were similarly unidentifiable. The clothing beneath his robes was fairly simple, resembling those of a Jedi. However, if one thing was clear about this man, it was that he was most certainly not a Jedi. The first giveaway was his location, and the second was his drink. The third, perhaps most obvious, was that his clothing was by no means in good condition. It showed all the common signs of lengthy service -- tears, stains, wrinkles -- and appeared as though the wearer didn't even try to make himself look neat.

As the large man rose to grab the young lady's wrist, so too did he rise, though he kept his distance for the moment. However, he began to take long, swift steps towards the commotion as he caught on to what the large man was hinting at. Gracefully, he moved between the girl and the man. In one swift movement, he gripped the man's hand with his own left hand, pinching key nerves to force it from the lady's. He then transferred it to his own right wrist, snaking his right hand around the man's fat arm and moving forward to bend the elbow. With his hand placed squarely on the drunken fool's wrist joint, he rolled his hands forward, bending it in a very unpleasant way and forcing the man to his knees. The man promptly exhaled a loud shriek of pain.

"Now now, kind sir," the robed man said calmly, as though he'd just met him from across the street, "You musn't treat a lady so! I do believe you should apologize." The man grunted, and the robed figure rolled his hands forward. Another brief shriek, and the man muttered an apology. By this time, of course, all of the fat man's lacky's had retreated signifcantly. All were clearly dumbfounded by this stranger's seemingly immense strength. Following the apology, the robed man released his grip, and allowed his victim to escape back to his alcohol.

"You must forgive these men," said the tall man in grey. "They are too stupid to understand the correct way to treat a lady, and are all little more than brutes and thugs. Though I myself have little interest in being a bodyguard, much less in actually working, I feel compelled to watch out for you -- I am amazed you came this far with your robes still on!" The man grinned, then pushed his hood back, revealing his face at last. He was youthful and handsom, perhaps in his early twenties. He had rather straight, dark brown hair which was was by no means long, but certainly not short. His bangs were mostly swept to the side and out of his face, though more than one strand fell out of this and into his eyes. He had a smooth, round face with sharp, angular eyes. Though not clearly visible in the dim lighting of the bar, his left eye was a deep shade of crimson, while his right was a light, warm shade of blue. His expression was a mixture of concern and disappointment, perhaps like an older brother looking at a younger sibling who had come home covered in mud.

"You may call me Jidat Katsushiro, for that is my given name," at these words, Katsushiro gave a slight bow. "This means, of course, that it was given it to me from myself; I've no real idea what my true name is, but that's another story for another day that will probably never come. I would prefer you call me Katsushiro or some diritive thus, but as you may be my employer for the time being, I guess that decision is up to you. So, I guess this means I'll take the job, if you accept."

OOC: you could call him Katsunoji, but maybe not since you're character is Russian and probably wouldn't know that type of nickname... hm... whatever XD

PS: the move he pulled is a chinese chin-na (grappling thingy) called shao-tran (i think). If you can find me IRL and want me to show you what it's supposed to look like, I can help ya out ;)

EDIT: stickied, since there are so many non-RP posts

Kisa nearly jumped for joy at his acceptance of the offer he had not been given. Unable to find his hand within the confines of his long robes, she grabbed what felt like his wrist, and shook it up and down with both of her hands. "Thank you so much, really! I'll make sure that you don't regret it!" she exclaimed, proceeding to drag him towards the exit of the bar.

"Oh, and thank you very much for saving me from those brutes! Really, what else could that have possibly wanted as compensation if they didn't want money?! Men these days..." she said, puffing her cheeks. "Oh well! What matters is that they're gone now, and I have my very own body guard! Oh, yes... I'll let you know that my previous body guard was horribly maimed in a terrible accident.. I won't say more than that it had to do with me, a lightsaber, and a lack of common sense on my part!" she finished, chuckling. "Now then, where were we..."

Kisa, letting go of his arm, suddenly realized something. "Oh yes! I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself!" The senator picked up her skirts slightly and did a light curtsy, lowering her head and raising it once more to bring her eyes to meet with Katsushiro's. "My name is Kisa Oksana. You may call me Kisa. I would appreciate it if you refrained from calling me "Kitten"; Everyone in the senate does so, and it just infuriates me!" The girl put her hand to her chin and contemplated. "Names... job acceptance... what else is left..." she asked herself. "Ah, yes! Payment.."

Reaching inside the area between her breasts and her dress, Kisa produced a small wallet, pulling out several pieces of currency. She handed them to Katsushiro, returning the wallet to its previous home against her bosom. "I do hope this is enough.. if it isn't... Then that's tough!" she said, laughing as she pushed the money into his hand. When the body guard would look at it, he would probably be more than pleased with the amount of pay he was recieving.

"Just so you know, that's just a ... how should I say it, 'down payment'. I'll give you the other half once we get back to my home... will that do?" she asked, turning to exit, but still watching Katsushiro.

'If only they would allow ME to do the missions, things would get done right!'

Across the road from the explosion, within an emptied and run-down hut, a man adorned in a flowing white Jedi robes smashed his gloved hand into the control console of the door. A few sparks flew from the mangled circuitry as the door slid open. Letting out a sigh as he took a step outside, light from the buildings around him exposed his looks. A tall pale-skinned man with slicked-back black hair allowed his golden eyes, which were plaguing a chaotic display to the failure of the assassin, to scroll up the road where the young senator escaped to. He gritted his teeth in anger, and turned to the whereabouts of the assassin. Bending the Force in a rash matter, he bent his legs as well and used his Force jump skill to swiftly jump onto the balcony of where the assassin was; catching him before he could escape the room.

"Fool!" The white-robed man shouted in a lizard-like tone, having already landed on the floor and been standing with his hand outstretched. Before the assassin could turn around, he found himself in the lock of something around his esophagus, which came tighter and tighter in it's grasp. "You call yourself an assassin!?" To this, the Jedi smirked and clenched his hand into a tight fist. The Force he emitted to the assassin caused his throat to merely collapse, pinching off veins that ran fresh blood to the human's brain. Releasing his hold, the assassin fell lifelessly to the ground. Dead.

The Bright Sith ran his hand through his slick hair, and turned around, jumping again from the balcony with an unparalleled grace; landing in the alley below the balcony. Fixing his robes, he walked down the dark alley, where a hover-vehicle was parked. Opening the door and hopping in, he powered up the vehicle and drove down the road to the direction of where Senator Kisa escaped.

'After all this trouble, and we can't simply kill this girl!? I'm tired of working for Gerious... He never leaves me any good work. I'll just have to turn him in, and take a reward myself...'

He thought to himself in anger. His dispositionings with jobs and missions had wore him down to his last strand of patience. What happened with the assassin's failure was his last strand. Coincidentally, the tele-monitor within the vehicle flickered on and there was Gerious' fat head.

"How did the mission go, Tegal?" Gerious asked in an almost gargled tone.

"Take a wild guess you fat moron!" Tegal shouted, unleashing his scolding words at the man. Gerious opened his mouth, stuttering slightly, but before he could get one word out, Tegal continued, "I'm done playing 'Crooked Senator' with you! Find yourself someone else!" With this being said, their conversation was over, and Tegal 'oh so passionately' threw his fist into the screen, ending the conversation in a provocative manner.

Being stressed to his limits, it didn't help that he lost sight of the girl, but he could feel something faint. It was there in the Force, but faint. His eyes narrowed as he turned his vehicle towards the source, soon finding himself in the slums of Coruscant. Parking across the bar, he gazed out the window of his vehicle, and surely enough, there was Kisa in the doorway. Next to her though was a grey-robed man.

'Ah, another Jedi...' Tegal chuckled to himself in his thoughts. 'She must be hiring a bodyguard...' That's when Tegal thought to himself as to what Gerious had in store for Tegal; nothing but lame work, and leave all the novices and recruits to the hard work. His expression changed to a gritted exposure of his teeth, only to fall to a blank complexion as he thought a clever plan to himself. '...Or two.' He added on to his last thought, as he grinned sinisterly. 'After all, if everyone is after her, the more I can kill.'

Jumping out of his vehicle, he waited in a now more patient manner, and waved to the two as they exited the building. He shouted out to them, "Hey, you two! Need a ride!? I need a job too, you know!?" His hoarseness in tone didn't help along with his looks to gain their attention sufficiently, but if not, he could easily persuade her with the Force.

OOC: let's just say the last paragraph happens when you two leave the bar/cantina/tavern place...

Kisa, at the sound of a voice beckoning to her, turned around to see a young man draped in robes of pure white. With a smile she waved to him and shouted, "That would be lovely!" Gesturing for Katsushiro to follow, she trotted out of the bar and over to the man. The senator cheerfully put her arms behind her back and looked up at him; his strong, intimidating form towered over her tiny, slender frame.

"Thank you so much, really! I was not looking forward to yet another trek back to the Senate! Today has been such a rough day.. first I'm shot at, and then my car explodes!" she finished, chuckling. "Well, that's enough of my problems. I've been so rude, I'm sorry! My name is Kisa Oksana; you may have heard about me, what with all the support, or perhaps opposition, I have recieved of late.." She held her hand out towards him in a friendly gesture, grinning from ear to ear.

"You said you were looking for a job, did you not? I don't suppose having two body guards would be much trouble! Money isn't an issue, as you may know, so I'd be more than happy to have another! You know what they say, 'two heads are better than one'! Well, that is as long as it's on your shoulders.." Kisa watched the faces of the two men, looking for any laughter of any sort. After a moment, she laughed uncomfortably and sighed. "Well, what's your name, sir?"

Katsushiro's nostrils twitched in a rather canine manner an instant before he heard the man speak. It took little effort on his part to tell that the man in white was a Sith, despite the misleading and generally strange color of his attire. Even had he not had Jedi training, Jidat would have quickly sensed that something was wrong with this stranger, because even the young senator was not wearing such clean white robes. He hadn't anticipated having to fulfil his job as bodyguard so soon after being hired, but here he was nevertheless. The grey-robed man took a few swift strides, placing himself once again in front of the girl. Were the situation less serious, he would have sighed as he noticed himself in essentially the same protective stance he'd been in not moments ago. The bodyguard extended his left arm straight out, keeping Kisa from moving any closer to the Sith, narrowing his eyes in a serious expression which hadn't appeared on his face in a long time.

"We shall discover his name at a later time, I'm sure," answered Katsushiro quickly, hoping to be out of that place as soon as possible. When he spoke again, his words were directed towards the man in white, and his voice reflected a great deal more calm than his face did. "I think you've picked the wrong person to trick, my friend," he said. The Shadow felt the fingers of his right hand twitch, anticipating the feeling of cold steel from the hilt of his lightsaber -- he sensed a battle might come from this meeting, if he was not careful. "The lady needn't have a Sith with evil intentions "protecting" her, I'm sure you understand." He then turned his head slightly to address Kisa yet again, though he kept his attention on the man in white before him.

"M'lady, I think it would be in your best interest to not hire this man, and to let me escort you from this part of town with haste," the bodyguard said. He kept his voice low so that only Kisa might hear, even though he assumed the Sith would be able to hear anyway. "And as a politician, I'm sure you know that to hire me as a protector, and then to simply ignore my opinions would be foolish."

Knowing that the other Jedi would surely come to protect the lady was the first thing Tegal expected. 'Like a knight in shining armor'. A grin displayed widely in a more professional manner, charming to it's looks, and his eyes began to light up like to fires in a dark abyss. Not taking Kisa's hand into his own for the shake, he simply brought them inside his robes. Two belts crossed over his black shirt and chest in an X shape, his lightsaber was 'sheathed' in the center of the X on his back by the very same belts. Though his weapon was not exposed to his enemy, he wrapped his gloved fingers delicately around the double-bladed handle of his lightsaber. Masterfully, he kept his expression as charming as ever. Allowing a chuckle to escape his domain, which sounded more like a cackle, he then spoke out softly to the Jedi before him, "Ah, a Jedi. Always the Jedi's who jump to conclusions." To this, Tegal turned his figure around to expose his side to the two before him, and continued, "I don't believe I asked for a bodyguard job, I simply asked if you two would like a ride." He hissed, the sound of his words seemed to emit a chill as they reached their ears.

Lowering his head to stare at the sidewalk, he let his thoughts become protected with the Force. For what he was about to say, he would rather not have the Shadow Jedi before him 'getting inside' and figuring out his past intentions. Which were now changed to serve against his previous employee, but even still, the Shadow Jedi wouldn't really approve of meaningless slaughter of men that might prove of some use. 'Less questions, more action' was the majority of the way Tegal thought of things. Breaking from his thoughts after a mere moment, he spoke out again in a truthful manner, for it was the truth, "The truth be I am of a darker perspective, but I do have some useful information about your... failing assassins, shall we call them?"

His eyes then glanced up at Kisa, piercing and cold as steel, but he did not let this moment become his weakness, for his hands then tightened more about the handle of his weapon. Turning himself once again to face the the two once more, he bowed his head lightly, and spoke his name in his slithering vocals, "Business put aside, my name is Tegal Ragarus. I prefer Tegal." Bringing out his right hand to shake, he left his other hand to hold onto his weapon, and awaited for either the Jedi to move for Kisa to shaked her hand, or for Kisa to shove him out of the way. Either option, he did not mind, for he did have a respect for one's identity.

Kisa, thoroughly confused, looked up at Tegal, then to Katsushiro, and then back and forth between the two until she became dizzy. "Oh come on, Katsushiro! Hm, that takes too long to say. I'll just call you Jidat. Anyway, how could he be evil!" she asked, pointing to him.

"I mean, come now; he's wearing WHITE! Bad people don't wear white, they wear black!" The young senator put her hands on her hips, proud.

"And anyways, Sith probably don't hang out around places like this anyway, much less give rides to cute Senators like me! If he does have information on the attempted assassinations, I would most definately love to hear it, too."

When she raised her eyes to meet with his, she froze for a moment, scared stiff for a few seconds until he glanced away. She shivered slightly and shook her arms, gaining a warm feeling in her body once more. Stepping out from behind Jidat, she smiled, shuffling forward to shake Tegal's hand. As she put her hand into his, she smiled.

"See, it's fine!"

Katsushiro's eyes grew wide as he saw the senator move closer to the sith and even grasp his hand. In his experience, a sith was a sith and could not be trusted, no matter what they said. Before she could take his hand firmly, the Shadow's right arm had encircled Kisa's waist and lifted her off the ground, stepping back and setting her down behind him. Even if she was trusting, Katsushiro was not, and felt that to be the best way to survive, especially with a dark jedi at hand. He wondered if he hadn't made a gross mistake in accepting this job and briefly considered quitting, but then quickly decided he would worry to much about the gullible young girl who had quickly grown to seem like a younger sister.

"M'lady, it is apparent that I can see things in people which you can't, and so it is imperitive that you trust me on this one," said the grey-robed man quickly in a hushed voice. Firmly raising his arm out once again and offering the girl a stern look which seemed to say "don't pass this line again," then turned to speak to the odd stranger in white.

"If you will forgive me, sir, I have little reason to doubt that your information comes direct, and that you probably were involved in the thing yourself," Katushiro said astutely, though he didn't even know what was being discussed. This did not, however, prevent him from sounding as though he knew more about it than the assassins themselves. "If we decide to ask for your information we will do so later, preferably when your hand isn't on your weapon. One last thing before we depart," he said with added emphasis and a quick glance to Kisa at that last word to show that he really meant that they were leaving, "I am not a Jedi, and you insult me by mistaking me for one. Good day." With those words, he put a hand on the young senator's shoulder and gave her a bit of a shove towards the Senate, where he hoped for better company.

Tegal's facial complexions remained as they did: a wide smile and glinting eyes that accommodated it so masterfully. He spoke out to Jidat, his tone clearly notifying him that their conversation was not over with, and if he were to think so, Tegal would make it so. "My dear friend. I do believe that I was talking to the girl, was I not?" He then cleared his throat, and smiled again in his twisted manner.

"After all, information on her 'would-be killers' would prove dearly vital, even to you... bodyguard." Tegal added this on, emphasizing the title to the man in a insulting manner, as to the reply given on Jidat's 'Jedi' title. With another low cackle, he looked up to the darkening sky, bringing his hand to stroke his fingertips lightly across his chin, as if in thought. He then spoke out into the air to no particular persona, "...Ah, an Exile..." He said this to himself, but he knew it was loud enough to ring in the keen ears of Jidat.

Knowing he might not gain a 'too happy' response, he lowered his golden gaze back to meet the eyes of the grey robed man, awaiting his reaction, but most of all, the answer from Kisa. Now to clarify what he wanted and how he saw things, he simply asked of Kisa in a louder volume for her to hear, "Wouldn't you agree, Senator? It is your well-being, you know...?" His hands then fell to his sides, ungrasping his lightsaber from his back. The whole time he was unafflicted to Jidat's senses, for he had dealt with Jedi's before of same or higher prowess. He then leaned lightly against his vehicle, a strand of his jet black hair meeting at one of his golden optics as he awaited her answer.

'This Jedi is getting on my nerves... He's lucky I haven't sliced his body to oblivion.' This thought ran mildly in the back of Tegal's mind, but he kept his guard up to not allow Jidat penetrate his mentality.

Kisa, hearing Tegal's not-so-illogical claim, turned around, bumping into Jidat lightly. Steping slightly to the side so that she could see the man, she nodded, and then looked up to her body guard. "He does have a point, Jidat. He may have vital information that I need to avoid trouble!" she said, matter-of-factly. The Senator once again stepped out from behind Jidat and, with a slightly confidant air, walked towards Tegal. She paused slightly, turning to him and raising her finger, with a glare that seemed to say 'I'm paying you, so watch what you tell me to do!', and then followed by gesturing for him to come over anyway.

"Sorry about earlier, I forgot how jumpy body guards can be!" She reached for his hand and grasped it, shaking it firmly and vigorously. "Well then, should get get out of this heat and go some place a little more accomodating?" she asked, smiling childishly.

Yuuki had recently arrived at the temple, having returned from his last mission as an ambassador to the Chancellor, some new man named...what was it? Valorum? Valorus? Yuuki frankly didn't care at the moment, he felt some cold wave of energy in the back of his mind. He dismissed it for the moment, no dark force had ever invaded the Jedi Temple, but he did make a note to search into that feeling later.

He was at the temple, for he was supposed to choose an apprentice at some point over the next several days. He honestly wasn't too keen on that opinion, being that the one he had been watching had just been taken by another master, much his elder and probably wiser. Xanatos had been fairly skilled in his own right, and his connection with the force was strong. Yuuki merely sighed. He had hoped for the chance to actually meet Xanatos, but Qui-Gon Jinn had come and gone.

"This might prove to be boring..." he muttered, putting his hands in the pockets of his dark robes. He took a few steps forward, and then stopped when master Mace Windu had exited onto the platform, his expression serious indeed.

"You have arrived at a good time, Master Yuuki," said. Yuuki bowed, showing the proper respect to a Jedi Council member. "A senator was attacked not too long ago, and was nearly killed. No evidence has been recovered from the scene, but we suspect that someone hired a assassin to eliminate her before her law came to pass. You have been assigned to search for the answer to this riddle. I wish you luck." With that, he bowed and left.

"Damn..." he muttered once Windu was gone. "Why do I have to play Cluefinder with the police?" Neverless, this was an order from the Jedi council, and he would fulfill it. He called back the hovercab and set off for the crime scene.

This time, Katsushiro let out an audible sigh. Not only was this Sith clearly ignorant about the Shadow, and thus Katsushiro's position in the world, Kisa was clearly doing her best to get herself into trouble. It was a wonder to the grey-robed man how this girl survived even this long without supervision. Though irritated in the utmost but the Sith's said ignorance, it was clearly not the time to lose control; quick action was of paramount importance. With a bit more speed than he had employed earlier, Katsushiro moved swiftly forward and grabbed the girl around the waist just as she took the Sith's hand. Ready to draw his lightsaber at a moment's notice, the Shadow helped his charge loosen her grip -- which entailed a rather unceremonious gripping of a pressure point on the wrist -- and pulled her back a couple meters and set her down behind him, keeping a hand firmly upon her bicep as he turned to inform Tegal that he needed a moment.

"Listen you, rat," the Shadow said abruptly, though in a hushed voice, "this isn't a game, this isn't one of your senate meetings where even if you lose you can have another debate another day; this is real, and that is a Sith. You hired me to protect your life, and that is what I intend to do, if you just let me do so. When you are doing your job in the Senate, you can expect that I will not interrupt unless your life is in danger or you ask my opinion. However, this is my job now, protecting you; I expect you to not interrupt, unless I ask you to. However, I do believe I have not asked any such thing, and so I expect you to listen." With that, and without any further instructions, he relased his grip on the girl, turning to face the stranger in white.

"Now, as for you, Tegal, let us get things straight," Katsushiro said in a powerful voice, like a king making a decree. "Firstly, she is under my protection, like it or not. Can your tiny Sith mind figure out what that means? I doubt it, so let me explain: It means that no matter who you are speaking to, if she is threatened then I step in. Secondly, I am not an "exile," nor am I an academy reject, which I assume you to be as you are most certainly not a master -- I can tell just by our short conversation that you lack the capacity to understand your own abilities, much less teach them to others -- and you lack the manners and sophistication of a student. Though I would try to explain to you what I am, I won't even pretend that you could understand; it would be a terrific waste of my time and yours, for you would spend hours trying to become unconfused. And now, granted your intelligence -- or lack thereof -- doesn't prevent us from leaving whilst you try and comprehend what I've just said to you, we shall take our leave. It's been a pleasure meeting you, and I hope to whatever deity is popular these days that it never happens again. Good day."

Letting out a maniacal laugh, Tegal allowed his hands to slap down onto his knees. The humor of how over-protective the Shadow Jedi before him was just too much. Obviously he had more to learn about himself in the ways of the Force, for his weakness was showing quite bare. "My dear Jidat, you're allowing your weakness to shine though." Tegal said this as he rose to stand straight once again, his grin fading to a warm smile. "Allowing stress to effect your thoughts and emotion to expose so freely, leads to the Dark side. You do know that, all Jedi do. So, before you insult me again, I would consider your future well-being, for it may one day be by my side." With a small smirk, he spoke out in a wooing tone, taking his time as if he were a father to his son, "If I need to explain how, you're overreacting. Has the girl been threatened? Indeed, but by assassins, not I. As a bodyguard, you should protect her when danger is near, yes..." Tegals eyes glanced over to the Senator, and tilted it slightly to one side and spoke out a little louder for her to hear, "...but I do believe she hired a bodyguard, not an advisor."

Clearing his throat, Tegal then took a step forward, only to stop at Jidat's side, and tilted his head towards his direction, and in a hissing whisper, his voice reached the grey man's ears, "You are quite lost, my friend. You go about carrying a lightsaber, yet claim not to be of the Jedi. Most likely, you are lost and confused as I once was, but then again..." Turning, his golden eyes shot through Jidat's with a piercing gaze, "Even stupidity can leave us blind, and as far as I can tell, you are still blind." With another whisper, his eyes left Tegal's and turned to look amongst Kisa's form once again, but his voice was still for Jidat's ears, "Don't insult my intelligence, boy, and don't overreact. Stay calm." Indeed, the words almost sounded as if spoken by a Jedi Master of the Light Side, but Tegal's alignment proved clearly otherwise.

"So, do you accept my offer, dear Senator?" Tegal spoke up in a louder manner before Jidat could speak. Awaiting the answer of her approval, and expecting less a quarrel with Jidat.

Kisa watched the two men argue, growing bewildered and bored at their exchange of wise words. As Tegal explained that Jidat was being slightly over protective, she nodded and put her hands on her hips. "Exactly! You see? He hasn't threatened me. In fact, he's offering me HELP! We need to take this chance. Any information he can provide on the people who have been attacking me will help immensely!" she finished, looking up at Tegal with a smile. As the man continued to speak, Kisa nodded, gently prodding her newly hired body guard in the side when Tegal brought up a point that particularly described her own thoughts towards Jidat.

When Tegal once again inquired as to her decision, she nodded and smiled, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'd love to know more, Tegal. Come, let's go somewhere we can all talk in private." she said, using her right hand to reach out in a handshake with Tegal's. Kisa then turned to Jidat and, in a voice which (hopefully) only he could hear, whispered: "I'm sorry; I do hear where you are coming from, but he really doesn't seem evil at all! He wouldn't be helping me if he wanted to kill me! Let's just go along with it, and see what happens."

She began walking towards the man's car when she turned back to look at him. "Besides, if he does attack us... you're a good fighter, are you not? You'll be able to protect me. And if you can't, well..." she trailed off, staring at him blankly before she turned around once more.
