Additional Nicknames: If his men called him anything other than Admiral Aiden or Sir, he'd probably kill them. But his nickname (or maybe euphemism for his name) among the pirates is 'the Grim Reaper' or occasionally 'Grim Reaper Aiden'. Alliance: Royal Navy Position: Admiral, and Captain of the H.M.S. Zephyr, one of the fastest, most manouverable, and best-armed ships in the Navy. Age: 54 Appearance: Aiden is tall, about 6'6", and quite muscular despite his age. He has nearly pure light grey hair, with only a few streaks of black left. He has a few vertical scars over his right eye and temple, thanks to Narcotic Jenny. His skin is tanned, from being out on the sea for years. He has a strong, square jaw, and often has stubble on his face because he forgets to shave (he also has sideburns...). His hair is in a short, normal style (aka just above his shoulders, often kept in a ponytail). His eyes are a rather depressing shade of dark grey. Personality: He thinks of most people as objects, as being disposable... especially women. He will fly off the handle at anyone that pisses him off. The only emotions he feels deeply are happiness at being right, happiness at 'serving justice' (really, he just likes to watch the pirates twitch around when they hang...), and anger when he doesn't get what he wants. What his opponents (such as Jenny) find particularly annoying is that he is very good at reading people and predicting what they'll do next. He is also very book smart, and a good tactician. -- Aiden favors the bottle, but that may or may not be due to alcoholism. Already prone to violence, he becomes even more scary when he drinks... Another habit of his is that he has a penchant for fine cigars, and can frequently be seen smoking them. Clothing: A long, gray Navy uniform coat with his rank and insignia on it. Underneath that, he wears a white dress shirt with the top few buttons undone, black suspenders, and black trousers that end at the knee. He wears white stockings and black boots on his lower legs. History: Aiden was raised in the slums of London. His Dad told him that women are too weak, stupid, they don't know their place and they tie you down. His father also taught him from an early age that life was cruel, and in order to live and prosper, you had to take from others before they took from you. He was taught to be suspicious of others always, and to trust only himself. ---- He took this advice and applied this to his life, learning how to fight and learning to read on his own. Aiden saved up money, and studied his heart out, and applied for the Naval Academy. Although at fist they were reluctant to enter a non-Noble into officers' school, his fierce determination and sheer brilliance on the test convinced the examiners to let him in. ---- From there, he only went up, rising in position and in prominance. Nobody could even remember that he had come from such humble beginnings (including himself). He was betrothed to a young woman named Jennifer when he was 36 and she was 16. At that time he had just become a Rear Admiral. He hated her outspokenness, and was determined to break her. He almost succeeded. One night two years into their marriage, he came home drunk and angry about something, and began to beat Jenny. Something in her snapped. Before he could brutally damage her eye and spine as mentioned before, she got in a good swipe at his eye. She hit him in the temple (not all too successful..) but the wound was deep and he still has a scar there to this day. |

(They're extraordinarly different, but just similar enough to not get along with / despise / want to murder one another. I could totally see it.) |

It'd be kinda difficult to work with, since he and Marc can't really interact. (He might make a cameo or two, though. Ya never know, right?) |
