~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Steve Barclay Alias: Squirrelly Steve Age: 35 Alliance: Pirates (more specifically, Captain Narcotic Jenny) Position: Member of Captain Narcotic Jenny’s crew Description: Steve’s best quality? He’s fiercely loyal and will do anything for those he respects. That is, anything that isn’t dangerous and doesn’t hurt and has no chance of having any possibly negative side-effects. At all. Other than that, he’ll do anything. Oh, wait””if anything cute and cuddly is involved (especially kittens), he won’t do it, either. And theatre. He hates theaters of any kind, performances of any kind, and fat ladies of any kind (but particularly the singing kind.) He’s also afraid of sharks and, although he’s a fair swimmer, water. He doesn’t like chocolate, either, for reasons that he prefers to keep to himself. All of these phobias may seem a little unexpected. Just by looking at Steve, one would expect him to be the strong, silent type; he’s extremely tall and broad-shouldered, with impressive muscles and a shining bald head. He wears a gold earring in one ear, and his clothes are old and poorly-kept. Until he begins speaking, it’s easy to imagine him as a skilled fighter, a tough bodyguard, and an efficient worker. When Steve speaks, however, it’s so nervous and fast that he’s often asked to repeat himself. His topics of conversation tend to center around the most pressing dangers present at the moment, be they anchors or puppies. And although he will speak out against those he feels are wrong, he’ll do little more (and he won’t even do that if said wrongdoers are in possession of a gun.) His cowardice covers up his natural devotion to those that he feels deserve it. He is, all in all, a rather one-dimensional character, but as nobody else seems to be coming up with anything, he’ll have to do. Call him comic relief or something. History: One tragedy after another. Steve started off with approximately a dozen siblings (nobody was really keeping count, anyway, they just kept coming.) From the beginning, his family seemed cursed to die in horrifyingly humorous ways””one brother choked on the prize inside a chocolate bar. Another brother was smashed into the pavement by a speeding yellow hummer. An older sister sniffed too much glue. A younger sister died from the side-effects of too many anachronisms. Finally, when Steve was the only one left””he’d been well-shielded, both by his parents and by his own spinelessness””his parents went, too. (His mother was bitten by a rabid kitten. His father took him to see a circus in an attempt to cheer him up and was crushed when the fat lady tried to sing and fell off the stage.) With nowhere to go, Steve was left with a choice: get a job, or become a lawbreaker. Naturally, he chose the less deadly of the two, and set off to find the nearest lawbreaking venue. A pirate ship would do, he decided, even if he was afraid of water and anchors and being below deck and staying above deck and captains yelling at him and captains paying him no attention whatsoever. He would, he decided, get along just fine. |

I wonder how long you'll actually want to RP him, but he should be fun at least for a while. We'll ignore the anachronisms because they're so glaringly bad that well, they're just freakin' awesome and I'll leave it there XD; Approved!
