She is tall (about 6'0", maybe a bit under) and of stately build, like a model, but her tattoos, haircut, and piercings make her look like the bassist for some punk band. She enjoys smoking pipes, and messing with other teachers, and does it just as often to her students--but there's no job she'd rather be doing. She loves to joke, and yet she is also very wise. Sometimes she won't shut up, and others, she will put up a cold exterior... mostly depending on the people she's around. She enjoys having a pint with her friends, but would just as often take the time to tutor a student, or do research. She loves to collect weapons but rarely uses them, even when others would. She is smart, but will do things stubbornly even though they know they will come to no result, because she feels she must try. Her abnormality doesn't end with her appearance: it only starts there. For one thing, she is a dragon Animagus (Romanian Longhorn, specifically), and does not hide this fact. She often will give herself just the horns and/or the tail, and walk around like that. Morrigan often wonders how he hell he got that way. Bob wanders around Hogwarts, lazing in the windowsill, and beating up cats (and sometimes students) that he doesn't like, namely Filch's cat. He has taken special interest in Faye, Patrick's care, and watches over her like a big brother. History: Morrigan was born to a Gypsy woman from Turkey and a Scots-Irish man, who had married in the height of passion but soon discovered that their relationship would never work. They got a divorce, and thereafter Morrigan only saw her father every once in a while. She set off to wander with her mother's tribe, and grew up traveling and learning the Gypsy ways. But, she always looked more Scots-Irish than Gypsy, and soon the other half of her heritage began to manifest in her mannerisms, as well. Well, for one, there was the name. Second, she loved to fight, starting one promptly as soon as she could walk. Both parents were wizards, and had attended wizarding academies in their time--and so they both agreed (for once) to send Morrigan to Hogwarts. She flourished there, excelling in everything but History of Magic and Herbology (which she did well in, but not as good as her other classes). Her favorite classes were Potions and Transfiguration. Her best friend (and later lover) Miles Henley always wanted to be an Auror, but died just before graduation. She had been interested in this field before, but was not sure if she had the guts to do it: this event pushed her to be an Auror, for Miles' sake as well as her own. A couple months back, the headmaster of Hogwarts offered her a job. "What with these dangerous times, I thought we should have a supplemental class to Defense Against the Dark Arts... something more practical. Somewhat of a translation of Dueling Club into an elective class, I suppose." "That's bloody brilliant! Sounds like an excellent job for me!" The headmaster nodded. "Exactly." - Unbeknownst to most at Hogwarts, she is also there to monitor the school for those that want to bring it down--it was brought to the Ministry's attention that there have been increasing threats. Another part of her job is to ready the students for any kind of attack by Death Eaters, etc. |

Morrigan I like. I think when she gets introduced there will be some tension between she and Artemis -- cutting into his job and such nonsense. Also, I think it may make more sense to have her be a Ministry official. It could be some sort of mandate to increase battle readiness or something... again, another (way in the future) plot device that could be introduced much later. Approved! We'll figure out an appropriate time to introduce Morrigan. Ya know, after a bit more time's passed ;) - The Administration |

I'm glad you like them :D I was wondering if Morrigan could be an Auror? (like, as her real job) I mean, that's something she'd really be into xD Morrigan: LET'S GO BEAT THE DEATH EATERS' FACES IN, YEAH! Other Auror: Omg. o__o; LOL, I'm looking forward to rping Flugel, and also as Morrigan eventually. But you're right--the rp isn't in the right place for that atm >>;; So yay~ I'm off to be Flugel!! :D |

If we restart, we'll be in the perfect place for Morry to come in, same with her bro, who I'll introduce shortly... Sorry for double posting but I wanted to move this to the front >_> EDIT: Made her an Auror. It makes a lot of sense for her to still be working for the ministry, as Dan said. |
