Name: Wesley Benson
Nickname: Lucifer
Age: 29
Nationality: Caucasian
Attire/Equipment/Description: Wesley is clothed in a crimson button-up shirt, black vest, black pants, black tall-gloves, and a pair of black knee-boots with spurs attached. He also has a gun belt tied to his waist that hold three six shot Cavalry Wells Fargo Revolvers, the steel plating black instead of gold like others; A gun at each side, and one at his back.

As for his facial features, Wes is a cleaned-shaved man with medium length black hair that only reaches his mid-forehead. A grey streak of hair resides on the right side of his head due to an injury he was given at a younger age. Following the grey streak, it becomes a scar that crosses over Wes' eyebrow and right eye to his cheek bone; his eye containing no pigment or pupil whatsoever, only white. As for his other eye, it is a dark brown. Wes is not so much a tall man, only standing at 5 foot 7 inches.

Personality: Wes is quiet, and when he isn't quiet, he's more than likely in a chaotic mood. Having suffered from a not-so-pretty past, he has become a ruthless killer, not caring who or what stands in the way of his goal.

History: Being born in a small town of Colorado, Wes was given the average life of any other boy. He was quite popular amongst the other younglings, for he helped his father run the local tavern. Throughout his years of working there, he became an excellent shot at pool tables. During this time, he had blown quite a few of the adults away at Nine-Ball, and other various games. He had always looked up to his father, who was a religous man at heart. They both went to church every Sunday with their mother to sit through the sermons. Until one night...

The priest who had gave the sermons was a twisted old man. He made "under the table" dealings with many bandits and criminals, and the public never caught on. On the fateful night, the priest called to all those he helped with smuggling, rape, escaping the law, and murder, and commenced a raid on the small town. Everyone within, including the sheriff, was over-encumbered by violent ravagers.

Within the home of the Benson's, Wes' father was held at gunpoint and threatened his life if he didn't turn over his pregnant wife to the bandits. Wes was shocked to see that his father gave the men what they wanted; seeing his mother being dragged away, screaming and struggling. Wes went to chase after his mother, but one of the criminals pulled a knife out, and placed a deadly cut upon Wes' head and face with one quick slash. The pain was a great burden, not to mention what happened next didn't help. A shot rang out, then the sound of a body hitting the floor. The bandit turned his back and walked out, leaving the brain of Wes' father exposed and splattered upon the wall behind him.

Wes lamented at the loss of his father, mother, and soon-to-be-born sister. Then a fire started to eat away at his home as the bandits threw torches at the wooden building he resided in. Having no choice, Wes quickly ran to his room and grabbed the money he gained from betting at the pool tables, and jumped out the window. Luckily the night hid him better from the bandit's sight as he ran away.

The next day, a wagon train caught sight of the injured boy in the middle of the desert; laying the sand with the sleeve of his shirt torn and wrapped around his wound. Picking him up along the way, they brought him to the nearest town. Having to deal with what his father had done, and soon finding out that the priest was behind all that had happened, Wes renounced his religion and vowed to get revenge.

Many years later, after having placed many a bet at the local taverns, Wes gained enough to have three custom made pistols for himself. Designed after the Wells Fargo model, slight changes to it's color were made, and three 6's were engraved on the handle of each gun. After what had happened to him, Wes became bent on becoming the worse thing the world could ever imagine, and from what everyone seemed afraid of was Satan, the Devil Himself.

Practice came with the guns for many years, and not too long after, Wes gained himself a name after a few duels. The name of course being 'Lucifer'.

As for what he does now, 'Lucifer' travels from town to town, either strangling or shooting information out of any gunslinger he can find; hoping to gain the whereabouts of his mother or sister.

Just a quick question...

Okay, so his whole life revovles around finding his mother and sister. That's cute and all, sorta gives him a personality, but I just have to ask... what reason does he have to believe his mother even survived long enough to give birth? I mean, if he's circling his whole life around two people who could very probably be dead, wouldn't he need some sort of... I dunno, something that might suggest that there's even a chance they're alive?

^^; Just wondering, is all.

Well, Wes didn't actually see his mother die. Besides that, why would the bandits take her away rather than shoot her along with his father? Who knows, she could be some old hooker at some saloon or tavern, and possibly worse for the daughter. Wes is looking for them, it's just he doesn't consider them dead yet. And no problems about the question :)

Hmm, personality is short, but I suppose you explained that in the history. Can't really find any fault with your explanation of why he went off looking for his mother and sister, though I am wondering myself that same question you posed: "Why would the bandits take her away rather than shoot her along with his father?" But, that's a minor detail

My only real suggestion would be to add "tends to exaggerate the importance of things in his mind" and/or "tends to be quite overly-dramatic" to the personality ;)

Approved, unless someone else sees a problem with it
