Name: Hassan (birth certificate and all legal records destroyed)

Age: 28

Race: Middle-Eastern

Features: Hassan, as he was known in the turbulent middle-east, was once a top-rate mercenary, serving the highest bidder but answering to no one. Even though his soldier days out on the dunes are over, he still owns his old fighting uniform from the good times. Hassan wears a solid black uniform: a loose shirt, slacks, leather boots, leather gloves, and his old sand scarf.
Hassan is a grim oddity, as most mutants are. His face and body have yet to change; he is still lean, muscular, and extremely intimidating. However, Hassan's skin and flesh has changed to a drastic degree. Instead of normal looking skin, Hassan's flesh has a visual quality to it that is reminescent of "endlessly shifting sand". As for Hassan's face, his dark, determined expression has only been strengthened by his eyes, which seem to radiate a blackness from the depths of his orbits. Completely hairless from the neck up, Hassan's head-hair has been replaced by a series of intricate tattooes.

History: There is an urban legend in the middle-east about a mercenary who could come and go like the wind, who could perform the most suicidal missions with surgical precision, and who left makeshift cemetaries in his wake. The only reason Hassan's handywork became a legend was because of his mutation. Years before his mutation took hold of his body, Hassan was the best mercenary in the middle-east. UNfortunately, when news of his mutation spread throughout the mid-east, his value as a mercenary was ruined: Hassan became a target by the very factions he had once served.
Hassan fled the mid-east, fled the sleepless night and the gruesome battles for his survival out on the dunes. He made his way to America (not legally, of course) and sought a new life for himself, something to take his mind away from his mutant abilities. But, news of a mutant academy grabbed Hassan's attention. Finally, a place where he could hone abilities among people like himself. Later he learned that the academy was known for wasting its powerful potential by defending helpless, wretched humans. Hassan made up his mind: he had to locate and analyze this academy, learn all that he could about perfecting his mutant powers, and then leave the academy in smoking ruin.
With his goal in mind, Hassan carved a bloody path through America in his search for the academy.

Persona: Hassan is a killer, mind and body. Ruthless and destructive, anything that gets on his nerves will not live to do much else. However, Hassan is not a rampant killer, in fact, he is very methodical since he considers homicide an art. Hassan has the capacity to hate most things including himself even if most of his hatred is aimed at the pure humans that drove him from his homeland. Despite this rabid hatred, Hassan has one honorable trait: loyalty. Contrary to his mercenary ethic, Hassan will follow anyone with strength and charisma enough to overpower Hassan's suspicion and vice. In fact, Hassan was once recruited by Magneto and the brotherhood but refused to stay when Magneto's constant orders began to wear on his nerves, diminishing his respect for the mutant.

Abilities:
+Retains all of his deadly potential as a solider.
+Powers: Hassan's powers allow him to dissolve his molecular structure along with anything he is wearing or carrying. In dissolving his structure, Hassan becomes something like a mass of mobile sand able to travel over any surface regardless to gravity. Besides dissolving his entire body, Hassan can isolate his amorphous properties to any part of his body (example: by morphing his arms he can use them like whips).

[quote:709781830b]Now this is a truly evil character. And if his powers are hard to understand, just think "Gaara of the Desert" if Gaara could become the sand he manipulates[/quote:709781830b]

mmmm....sounds ok. curiously, how does he plan to get into the academy if he's 28 and a murderer? He's a little old, and i have no doubts xavier would sense him out right away. or does that not really matter anyway, because he'd just say "screw you" and attack when that happened? Clear this up for me, but otherwise he's fine.

Oh he doesn't plan on really infiltrating the academy. He'll just try to sneak in and tear everything apart. Also, he doesn't know about xavier's ability to detect mutants. Either way, the point where he gets caught is the time when he throws caution to the wind and kills anything he can see. This one is a truly evil man, probably moreso than Valkier will ever be.
