She has a slender frame and weighs around 110lbs, making her light and agile in battle. Her eye color varies, from a light, cerulean blue to a dark, navy blue. Her version of "The Thirteen" uniform consists of a short, black jacket that is 'double-breasted', and clips slightly below the breast line with a sakura blossom button. A pink trim adorns the edges of the fabric, and a pale pink pleated mini-skirt is worn underneath, along with thigh-high black stockings. Personality: Haine, being just 16, is an energetic teenager, and has a propensity to agitate most all of the older, male members of 'The Thirteen'. Because of her height, her nickname within the group has become "Chibikko" or 'little kid'. Haine tends to get her feelings hurt easily, and is slightly prone to fits of crying (although short). In her spare time, Haine either sits in large cherry blossom trees or bugs Nenshoukaze however possible. When she isn't pestering Nenshoukaze, or any of the other 'The 13' members, Haine usually prefers to be alone and sing. Blood Line: Haine was born into the prestigious ”˜Nagayama’ (Eternal Mountain), clan. With her parents at the head of the clan, Haine was the successor, and the one entrusted to continue the extensive family tree. The Nagayama clan was famous for their genetic trait, the 邪眼 (Jagan). The Jagan was an almost demonic eye that, when triggered, enabled the user to unleash an illusion more powerful than any genjutsu. It is much like the Tsukuyomi used by Itachi, in that it envelopes the opponent in an illusion that, within it, could last ages, but outside may last only an instant. Because the village in which the Nagayama clan lived was obliterated, Haine is the only known survivor of the clan, and thus the only person left with the Jagan. Typically the Jagan’s illusion is used to create a false situation. EX: Someone throws a kunai at Haine. She uses the Jagan and, inside the illusion, is hit by it. Yet outside the illusion, Haine has actually dodged the kunai, and is heading to attack the opponent who is motionless as they are trapped in the illusion. Once eye contact has been made, and the opponent is in the illusion, the user is free to move as they please and can attack the opponent. However, touching the opponent in the illusion in any way, shape, or form will immediately remove them from the illusion. In addition, if the Jagan has a range of one mile (maximum; Depending on the skill and experience of the user, the range may be less, but no more). If the user leaves that range while the opponent is in the illusion, it will disappear. There are several restrictions to the Jagan. The user must make eye contact with the victim in order to put them into the illusion. Second, the Jagan can be used a maximum of three times a day. The amount of energy and chakra it takes to create such powerful illusions is extremely taxing on the user. History: Haine doesn't really remember very much of her past, but from what she can remember, she has always been alone. When she was five, she wandered off from her parents during a town fair, and went off to explore outside of the village. Haine meandered off into the forest nearby and fell after tripping on a large tree root; she was knocked unconscious. The scent of burning wood wafted through her nostrils when she finally awoke, only to see her village consumed in flames. Tears streaking her cheeks, Haine ran towards the village gate, but was stopped by several medical squad ninjas, preventing her from re-entering the village which was now destroyed. The next day, Haine was taken to a nearby town called 'Shirokawa' and adopted into a well-to-do family, growing up in a loving household with all that she could ever need. At the age of 6 she began attending the Ninja Academy at the Hidden Waterfall Village, and graduated merely 4 years later. For the next four years, Haine worked various missions as a Chuunin, gathering a great amount of fame both within the village and in the outside world. A few weeks after her 14th birthday, Haine received a strange letter, asking her to meet at a remote location outside of the town. Upon arriving at the location, the sky suddenly became dark, and she was surrounded by several dark figures who informed her of their purpose. They were the members of 'The Thirteen', an infamous group of elite ninjas, all of whose identities were completely unknown to all save a select few (The Hokage... ETC...). After explaining the risks involved (such as death for revealing any member's identity), she was given fourteen days to make a decision. Haine thought hard for those two weeks, and at the last minute decided that she had nothing to lose in joining, and met the men in the same location as their previous encounter, and was then blindfolded. When she was allowed vision once more, Haine was inside a dark cavern underground, lit by strange, glowing plants. She was now also surrounded by twelve members of 'The Thirteen', all enclosing her within a circle. The leader of 'The Thirteen' came forward and instructed her to stand on her dominant arm, with her fingers spread out and her palm placed upon a specific place on the ground, which had various writings and runes written upon it in a concentric circle. The leader then took an ink brush and began writing various inscriptions and runes upon her arm, switching the brush for a sharp kunai when he was finished. He then made a shallow cut from Haine's wrist down to a couple inches past the elbow, followed by four straight cuts that formed the number '3'. The other eleven members then stepped forward in unison and watched as the various markings upon the ground began to glow in unison as their leader formed various hand seals. The writing upon Haine's arm began to glow as well, along with the new cut along her arm. A burning pain shot throughout her arm, and when the pain finally subsided, so did the eerie glowing. Haine collapsed onto the ground, unconscious, as the leader then wrote her name upon a large scroll, finishing the initiation ceremony. Jutsu: 透き通ることの術 (Sukitoorukoto no Jutsu) Transparency Technique Upon using this technique, the user becomes transparent and invisible, and their chakra flow is completely masked, thus preventing byakugan users from detecting their presence. However, genjutsu experts as well as Sharingan users will be able to find the user with relative ease. チャクラマイクの術 (Chakra Microphone no Jutsu) This technique uses the applied chakra to form a makeshift microphone at the end of a steel wire. The ”˜mic’ picks up the sound vibrations within a certain range and sends the vibrations back to the user via the steel wire. This jutsu is extremely useful for eavesdropping. 水分身の術 (Mizu bunshin no jutsu) Water Clone Technique This technique creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin than to a normal Bunshin, these clones are capable of attacking, except each clone's strength is only one-tenth that of the user.
