She is naturally lean and has become very strong from years in the kitchen carrying around boar carcasses and 50lb flour bags. Wears: A gold-and-black lacy dress under a white dishwashers’ shirt and apron. Wears gold, spiral-shaped dangly earrings. Carries a pair of Ray-Bans during the day: wears sunglasses to protect her eyes. Personality: Moira has a very angry personality. She usually refuses to see the right side of people, and can be a bit arrogant, thinking she’s better then other people. If someone makes fun of her, or picks on her, she'll bounce back, ready for a fight. She has a violent, defensive personality, but despite this, rarely loses her cool. Favorite foods: Bouillabaisse with artesian bread. Favorite drink: Most anything alcoholic Quirks: rarely laughs, but this doesn’t mean she’s emo: she just doesn’t laugh when she doesn’t think things are funny. Which is most of the time. Will not tolerate lateness, or bullshitting. Has often told people to "suck it up" and rarely worries about consequences resulting from her harsh lessons. But if you win her favor, she will respect and protect you forever. Skills and abilities: She is frighteningly fast with a scimitar or chef’s knife after a few years as a line cook in the Hellsing kitchens. Since she was appointed head chef 3 years ago, she has learned how to organize the making of hundreds of meals a day””taking nearly superhuman amounts of patience, tact, and careful planning. Weapons: Chef’s scimitar- has a red-and-gold tassel hanging off the grip. Good for hacking up bones for soup stock. Chef’s knife- Moira’s best friend. Bendy enough to skin a sardine without wasting meat, yet hard enough to chop through even the toughest vegetables. Background: Somebody dropped her off at Hellsing when she was only a baby… one of her parents, perhaps? Family: Moira has no memories of them, and says she doesn't care, but she is curious about who they are. Theme Songs: "Blank Generation” by Richard Hell and the Voidoids (normal theme) “Hell” by the Squirrel Nut Zippers/ "Umbrella" by Dir en Grey (battle/ happy themes) “Tocatta & Fugue” by Bach (sad/ emo theme) Quote: “Don’t f**k with a baker, they’ll toss you like yesterday’s biscuit batter.” **Basic Dhampir conditions: (From Vampire Hunter D/Dan's post thinger) 1.Stronger than a human, yet weaker than most vampires. Has some vampire powers. 2.Must drink blood, just like vampires. Moira overcomes this by drinking animals’ blood, or blood reconstituted from capsules. (BloodCaps, lol) 3.Can stay up during the day OR during the night, but not both. Can stand sunlight, but is light sensitive (wearing sunglasses helps in bright light). 4. Garlic is the same- but it's usually not an issue, as Hellsing food is Garlic-free. 5. Can't swim, but water doesn't burn her flesh. 6. Holy stuffs make her sick, and can kill her after a while. OOC:Now, she smiles every once in a while, but laughs rarely. Get it? XD; |

Very interesting character -- a chef? O_O; wicked Let me add some things to the weaknesses that I remember though: - Dunpeal CAN stay up during both day AND night. Light sensitive is more or less true; over-exposure to light can cause sickness (i forget what they called it) and necessitates the victim to dig a hole and bury themselves until night falls! O_O - You don't need blood as much as normal vampires, and while you do have cravings they're not nearly as intense and probably much less often. If you do succumb... - Hellsing has packets of medical blood ;) |
