"Dammit," said Kylin, looking around once more at everyone there. She decided in that moment to take the risk.
She leaped at Tegal, focusing on the detonator. For one moment, it seemed as if time stood still. She manipulated Force around it, and yanked it out of his fist. She then tossed it over the edge, where it probably broke into a million little pieces on the street far below. There was no way of knowing for certain, as it was too small to make a noise upon impact.

Kylin walked over to him, eyes flashing a dangerous vermillion. Her now-orange eyes narrowed as she stared at him. Her hand went for her lightsaber, but stopped suddenly. She whispered something so softly noone else heard, and then collapsed onto the ground.
What the...?

OOC:Sorry for overdoing it X1000million.

OOC:edit: he was holding a detonator, not the explosive itself. @__@

OOC: Martin, read this official notice that I'd been intending to post but couldn't get around to it:

It has come to our attention that one, Odakira, has temporarily left for an unspecified amount of time. In order to keep the role play moving (for it must be assumed that said unspecified amount of time can be greater than a month, effectively stopping the RP) we (The Administration) have decided to take action to prevent this RP from dying. We have thusly come to a unanimous vote of three (3) to zero (0) in favor of granting temporary, minor god-mod powers to one user, that could act in such a way that would allow this RP to continue. This particular user was chosen since Odakira seem to hate authority and would see us acting as yet another reason that we are an authoritarian rule. It was thusly decided that an admin should not act in this situation. In this situation, the particular user chosen was because she was the most active of the non-admin users in this thread, and because, being a Jedi, she would probably have more of a drive to get the Sith out of the way and/or protect those present.

That being said, we officially grant the user Melia Stahlflugel and her character, Kylin, one round of minor god-mod powers which she shall use for no other purpose than temporarily moving Odakira's inactive character out of the way so that the RP may continue. She may not kill, maim, or otherwise permanently injure Odakira's character, or any items on his person, but otherwise anything goes. If any admin feels that the actions taken were unjust or otherwise break these limits, they may and shall ask Melia to change the post. Odakira's character will not be harmed, and the RP will be allowed to continue.

Thank you, and good day,

- The Administration

(Note: I have already PMed her about editting her post. Also, I know the rules; I wrote the original ones, and helped Kristin frame those. This was a democratic decision, as explained in the notice. You can complain if you want, I guess, but there's nobody else above us. Sorry, but it's your fault for "leaving.")

A squad of Imperial Guards, who had already been drawing near to the area, rushed the Sith and secured his arms, threatening him with blaster rifles. Though they had already been suspicious of the commotion, the identification of a thermal detonator in the vacinity of the Senate had drawn security in droves.

"C'mon, Kisa," the Shadow master said quickly, "I'm in no mood to fight, and I'm sure our Jedi... 'friend' can handle that guy now." Jidat glanced back at Tegal, wondering what the man could have been thinking, to threaten suicide. Had Kylin not acted, Jidat might have called the bluff -- the Sith would surely have gained nothing from acting as he threatened, and thus would have surely not acted. Nevertheless, what was done was done. Jidat had every intention to keep his mind open to sensing the Sith, however. He was not about to be caught within the blast radius of a thermal detenator again.

Kisa heard Jidat's warning, but was surrounded by imperial guards. After several minutes of assuring them that she was safe and unharmed, she turned to her bodyguard and nodded, somehow slipping out from the crowd of imperial guards that had snaked their way around the small group. She caught up to the female jedi and smiled. "Thank you; I'm not sure how long I would have lasted back there. Here, take this as a token of my appreciation.", she said gratefully, placing a pouch of coins into the girl's hand. With a slight curtsey she pivoted on her heel and trotted off to meet with Jidat, stopping when she had reached his side.

"My apologies. Now... shall we head off to the meeting?"

Tegal was quite surprised to find the tables being turned against himself so quickly. Grunting and squirming to get out of the restrainment made by the guards, the White Sith cooled himself, and thoughtfully planned an escape before they could get him contained. Luckily, the guards had not clasped his hands shut, this giving Tegal the oppurtunity to get out. Closing his golden optics, the Sith hummed to himself quietly, only to let it grow louder into a warcry. Letting out a Force Scream, the Jedi was able to put the guards around him into disarray; giving them an almost shell-shock influence. Then, throwing his hands open, Tegal allowed an electrical storm to shower the stunned troops around him from his fingertips; causing few to pass out as well as go into seizures. This freed the Sith from their holds, and now he had to act quickly, for basically an armada was surrounding him.

Tegal glanced down at the out-of-mind Kylin, and threw out his hand. Doing so, Kylin's lightsaber fled from her side and saught comfort in the Sith's hand it seemed. [color=red:07b06309ff]Quickly brandishing the purple blade, Tegal jump flipped swiftly away from the Jedi's around him; having to reflect a barrage of many blaster shots that flew at him rapidly, as well as dodging them. Having done another jump, Tegal had now gave a great distance between him and the Senator's guards. Going into a dead sprint, the White Sith made his way to the destruction sight of the Senator's first assassination attempt; a hole had been placed into the road from an explosion, which was caused by the vehicle.

Jump flipping over a couple construction droids (who soon became scrap under a wave of blaster fire), Tegal landed himself into an underground transportation tunnel. No trains were running through here do to the previous explosion, so the Sith high-tailed down the tunnel. While running, Tegal quickly removed his broken saber, as well as placing Kylin's saber at his side, he threw off his white cloak (which would be an obvious giveaway in public) and clasped it in his hand.

'Damn. Things were going so well too... Where's a droid when you need one?' The Sith cursed at himself in his mind, hoping to find a droid sometime soon as he continued to traverse the dark tunnel.

It had been quite a while of running, but Tegal caught sight of some lights ahead. It was a station for the trains, but it was flooded by citizens who had been waiting for the train, but never came. Tegal casually walked into the group of people, unnoticed by the many around him, as he made his way to the stairs. Before exitting, the Sith threw his cloak to a young boy and whispered to him as he walked by, "Keep it, kid."

As he reached the streets, the now black-clad Tegal called a cab. When it pulled up beside him, he quickly jumped in and spoke to the driver in an exhausted manner, "Take me to Docking bay 22-A, and fast."

"Yessuh." The driver replied, and literally floored the pedal; making way to the docking station.

'Note to self... Bring more grenades next time.' The Sith notioned, making himself comfortable as he caught his breath in the back of the taxi.[/color:07b06309ff]

OOC:ADMIN NOTE: The sections in red have been considered godmodding, and must be fixed. Yes, one can easily realize the fact that almost ALL of this post is mared as god-modding. Why? Because you gave NO ONE a chance to act upon what you did. That, and even if you are a Sith, it is unlikely you could've escaped from all of those guards unscathed. Also, 'force screams' do not exist.

"Yes, finally," responded Jidat with a sigh. He was quite tired of excitement for the moment, and was confident that he'd had more than his share for one day. "I only hope that we make it there without anymore interuptions." The Shadow Master paused for a moment, quickly assessing the situation. Then, apparently satisfied, he bent forward slightly, in lieu of a bow, and gestured for Kisa to walk in front of him.

Kylin woke up with a bag of coins where her lightsaber should have been, head buzzing. She sat up, dizzy and confused.
"Where am I... what... happened," she mumbled as the world came into focus.
With a sudden headache, everything came back. "I... managed to overwhelm a Sith. But it took all my strength. He must have looted me after I blacked out."
Kylin stood up, squinting, and still a little groggy. "May I come with you two, if that is alright? I've never been in a Senate meeting before..."

Kisa had started to walk into the senate house when the voice of the young Jedi called out to her. She turned around abruptly and smiled warmly, nodding. "Sure. I don't see why not. Two Jedi are always better than one, I'm sure. Come, Jidat." She then turned around again, and began walking towards the Senate, her heart pounding.

Kylin followed the Senator and Jidat into the Senate building, not really waiting for the others. If they wanted to come along, that was their problem. Kylin was dizzy and felt a strong urge to sit down, but she disregarded that and focused on her feelings instead of her pain. Anticipation of going in the Senate building, of course, was first. She had grown up on a tiny farming planet, and such things still amazed her.

However, below this was a tense fear she had not known was there until she looked. A fear attached to a pair of eyes, staring deep into her soul. A pair of eyes she had only seen on one person.

…Shiraz.

Suddenly, Kylin collapsed onto the ground. She began to have a very strange dream, or maybe it was a vision of the past…

“You’re so forward,” Shiraz said to her teacher, smiling cruelly. “I know I would have never thought to just march on in and kill the man.”
“Why thank you, Shiraz,” Eragus said back. “I figured that, given his wormlike behavior, cornering him in his home and slaughtering him in his bed would be most fitting.”

Shiraz rang the doorbell. After doing so several times and getting no answer, she set a mine on the door. It exploded on the lock, and the door opened.
“You are infinitely useful, Shiraz. Unlike that Tegal,” Eragus said, proud of his new pupil. “Did you know he ran away? I have not been in contact with him since his failed assassination. Ah well, we need not worry about him; our enemies will take care of him for us. Besides, he knew very little of our plans…”

How long had Shiraz waited for this day, for Tegal to fail? Days, months, years, decades, the actual time did not matter, it had felt to Shiraz like an eternity of shame. To have had to watch someone so incompetent serving her master was painful. Now the painful eternity was ending, and her time to shine had dawned.

Eragus ruffled Shiraz’s hair, and kissed her on the forehead. “Now, stay here while I take care of things.” He walked into the apartment, calling the crooked senator’s name. He finally found him asleep in his bed, and dragged him out into the main foyer of the flat. Eragus threw Gerious down, and told him to find a weapon.

“Please, no, I… There must be some misunderstanding,” the fat senator cried, scurrying backwards in panic.
NOW,” commanded Eragus, tiring of these games.
Gerious got his weapon from a hidden compartment in his wall, a vibroblade.
“Oh, how cliché,” Eragus said with a smirk, drawing his yellow blade.
They clashed a handful of times, and Eragus had the upper hand all along. He disarmed his opponent, and then went in for the kill. “Goodnight, Gerious,” Eragus said in an indifferent tone, but his eyes told a different story. Their pupils shrank to mere specks, lending him a demonic look. “When dawn comes, I will put my plans in motion... Too bad you will not live long enough to see the new Republic.” He plunged his energy blade into Gerious’ heart, and the deed was done. Eragus withdrew his blade from the former senator’s body, and walked back to the entryway.

“Nicely done, master,” Shiraz said, a wry smile on her face. “Part one of the plan down, correct?”
Eragus gave her a funny look, and then smiled. “Why, thank you. It just… sounds a bit strange after having that fool Tegal as an apprentice. He never used to give me the proper respect.”

The two walked to the elevator, rode it down, and hailed a taxi. They went back to the apartment they shared, and put all their gear away. Eragus called Shiraz into the main foyer, for Shiraz’s first lesson towards becoming a Sith. Eragus had spent all his time on Tegal, even though Shiraz had always been the more talented of his two pupils. This turned out to be a mistake.

“Repeat after me,” said Eragus, “This is the most important thing I can teach you, and you will gain much wisdom from analyzing it.”
“Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion I gain strength, through strength I gain power. Through power, I gain victory; through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall set me free.”

After she memorized this, Shiraz and Eragus sparred, and then, after darkness fell, they went to their respective rooms. Shiraz lay down in her bed, staring at her walls and ceiling, painted light blue. They reminded her of the way the sky used to look on Xantara. “My passion for vengeance for Xantara will… The Force will… set me free…”
She slowly drifted into a deep sleep after uttering those words, unaware that her master had been listening from the doorframe.

Eragus left her room and went to his. He lay down in his bed and thought about recent events. He chuckled to himself about the whole Tegal fiasco. “Even if he did tell them everything, they wouldn’t believe him. He was an odd man, a walking contradiction… Ah, well, Part Two starts tomorrow. Regardless of that failure,” he whispered, grinning madly into the darkness.

OOC:OK, so... the reason why Tegal was the apprentice is weak, but I think everything else is OK... D:

Annnd Boots gave me verbal OK to make this post. Finally. Thanks ! <3

Xavior turned to see Kylin fall to the ground he moved to her and put his non-metalic hand on her forehead then checking her pulse

"she's definately alive but her pulse is accelerated and shes experiancing some kind of disturbance i cant really tell what it is but it couldve been caused by coming in contact with that Sith, she should be taken to the temple " said Xavior turning to Yuuki, "i however, as i said before, cannot accompany you" Then standing and turning to Jidat "i would like to have a word with you, as you know we are both Shades so naturally i have a few questions as im sure you do as well."

Xavior turned in the direction the Sith ran "I wish i had the time to persue him perhaps he could lead me to someone i am looking for." Turning back to the others, "but that can wait." Xavior frowned a strange day indeed

OOC: WTF IS GOING ONN AGGHHHH BOOTS POST LOL
